  • Path Of Exile 3.24: A Detailed Guide On Detonate Dead Of Chain Reaction Pathfinder

    Posted: Apr 30, 2024

Dear Exiles, today I will bring you one of the most satisfying tank builds I have ever played in POE 3.24, which is Detonate Dead of Chain Reaction Pathfinder. Its damage, tankiness, and recovery capabilities are all staggering. In this guide, you’ll learn how builds work, and how to upgrade and craft them. Without further ado, let’s get started!

    Main Skill

Our skill of choice is Detonate Dead of Chain Reaction. It targets a corpse and causes it to explode, which deals a percentage of the corpse’s health as fire damage. This will then continue to target other corpses in the area until either it runs out of corpses or 8 corpses are destroyed. Therefore, we will use very high life specters in our Desecrate corpse pool.

    Specters

In the new Tier 17 map, we get new spectrums with a very high life percentage. Now Disruptor I’m using has 440% more life, Molten Soul has 420% more life, and Senior Scientist has 420% more life.

You will use these 3 specters, but by default you can only have 2. So we will use Voideye unique ring and socket a level 20 Raise Specter gem.

To target corpses, you need to hold “A” on your keyboard. This will bring up the corpse life bar and search for the specters I mentioned before, and use Raise Specter until you have 3. You can then remove the gems as the game will remember the specters you saved in the pool.

That’s why we need high-life corpses, because we add poison to the mix. The higher the life of specters, the higher the base damage. It’s that simple.

    How To Convert Fire Damage?

By default, fire damage does not cause poison. But there is a unique glove that allows us to deal poison damage with fire damage, and that’s Volkuur’s Guidance.

Sadly, you need to get a corrupted one with Temporal Chains on hit. Otherwise, the build will be very clunky and your damage will be much worse than what you see here.

    Detonate Dead & Desecrate

Although we cannot cast these two spells, Detonate Dead and Desecrate, at the same time, we will use Arcanist Brand and link to Desecrate. This way your Desecrate will be triggered often and you just need to hold Detonate Dead and wait for the boss’s health to disappear.

You’ll build up a lot of cast speed because the faster you cast, the more Desecrate you have and the more Detonate Dead you have. This is why we chose Pathfinder, because of its ability to maintain cast speed with Silver Flask.

How To Achieve 100% Chance Of Poisoning?

Since this is a poison build, we need to achieve a 100% poison chance.

First, we did 20% with Herald of Agony, another 20% with the glove itself, 25% from the node on the passive tree, Toxic Strikes, and the rest from the tattoo. With all this, we have a 100% chance of being poisoned.

However, our biggest and best multiplier actually comes from the second source. We're going to inflict Wither on the boss, which will increase Chaos damage by 90% by default. In addition, we also get an Ascendancy node, which will increase the Wither effect and give us the opportunity to cause a Wither.

    Defense

On the defensive side, we can convert 100% of physical damage into elemental damage. Of that, 50% comes from using Lightning Coil alone, 27% comes from Taste of Hate, 14% comes from our helmet, and we also use Watcher’s Eye so that 10% of physical damage is treated as lightning damage.

Finally, I could use the newest unique belt added to the game, Tides of Time. Thanks to this belt we have 4.2k health regen, so when we take damage we can replenish ourselves immediately.

If you don’t have enough POE Currency budget to buy this unique, we can also easily use Petrified Blood, which allows us to restore more than 50% of life without Life Flasks.

    Clear Setup

If all you want is mapping, this build will be a pain to play with. So I need to come up with a suitable solution that’s easy to do but does enough damage to clear.

So its clear setup is Cast while Channelling Support, Detonate Dead and Desecrate, and its trigger skill is Cyclone. This setup is very nice and comfortable to run.

Not only that, but this build also has enough damage to deal with map bosses and elite monsters. Even the garbage monsters on T17 map are not a problem. You just need to rotate until you complete the map.

    Items

Next, let’s give a brief overview of some items needed for this build.

    • Scepter: Woe Roar
    • Helmet: Oblivion Veil
    • Shield: Spirit Bulwark
    • Body Armor: Lightning Coil
    • Talisman: Sorrow Torc
    • Rings: Maelstrom Spiral & Bramble Circle
    • Boots: Hate Road
    • Belt: Tides of Time
    • Gloves: Volkuur’s Guidance

    Passive Tree

Finally, let’s highlight some things needed to build on a passive tree.

We took Pathfinder as Ascendancy and adopted Nature’s Reprisal, a node that was a game changer in the early going.

Additionally, we have Nature’s Adrenaline to generate more Flask Charges. And Master Toxicist is a pretty big multiplier for this poison build. Finally, there is Master Surgeon. With this, you can activate your Life Flask even if your life is full.

Anyway, that’s the end of this guide. I hope you enjoyed this guide on Detonate Dead of Chain Reaction Pathfinder. See you next time.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: Beast Farming Is A Profitable Path To Accumulate Currency

    Posted: Apr 28, 2024

Greeting Exiles! This guide will show you a low investment beast farming strategy on the White Maps in the Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League. Our focus will be on farming a specific beast known as Craicic Chimeral, valued at approximately 1.5 divines currently. After completing 10 or 25 maps, we can gather up the Craicic Chimerals and sell them off.

    Pros & Cons

Beast farming is a strategy I have adopted recently, and it has been working to the advantage. The introduction of new Scarabs, such as the Bestiary Scarab of the Herd, marks a significant change. This scarab offers 5 additional beasts, effectively doubling the amount of Red Beasts encountered per map compared to the previous Gilded Scarab.

Moreover, there's a new scarab called the Bestiary Scarab of the Shadowed Crow, which guarantees a beast spawn in every map. Although slightly more expensive, it provides double the currency every time it sells, ensuring stable profitability per map. These changes have not only made beast farming more accessible, but also increased its profitability and efficiency.

The first notable drawback of this farming strategy is its heavy reliance on the Craicic Chimeral for significant profits. These valuable drops occur randomly, often from 1 in 10 maps, or even 1 in 20 maps. While each Craicic Chimeral sells for 1.5 Divines, it can be frustrating if you go a long time without encountering one.

Additionally, sticking to Tier 1 through Tier 4 maps limits our flexibility by limiting our ability to take advantage of certain features such as Atlas bonuses, influence, boss drops, essences, or higher level maps. To maximize beast encounters and income, it's crucial to run maps efficiently. Therefore, focusing on maps like Strand and Fields, which offer quick clear times, is recommended for this strategy.

    Bestiary Scarabs

Next, I will explain what Scarabs to get with low budget. In each map, we’re going to use 2 Bestiary Scarab of the Herd to add 10 more Red Beasts in our maps and 1 Bestiary Scarab of Duplicating to make an additional copy of the beast that we are capturing. If you have the fifth slot, you can buy the Bestiary Scarab of the Shadowed Crow as well, which we can use it for crafts or making 6-links items to sell for POE Currency.

The Craicic Chimeral beasts are small frogs, which you will encounter like every 7 to 10 maps. Just search for them and capture those and go out of the map. If you find one, you can also invite other people to come and join your party so that they can get 3 divines for free. Just need the Tier 3 maps and the Cobalt Jewel to collect and sell them in bulk.

    Altas Tree Setup

Let's take a look at the Atlas tree with 86 passive nodes. Pairing this with 1 Shaping the Mountains and 1 Shaping the World is effective. We avoid excessive Shaping nodes on higher maps to prevent an imbalance of Tier 4 over Tier 3. While Strand is superior to Fields, Fields being the second best map and Adjacent allows us to alternate between them, utilizing Singular Focus to potentially obtain Chaos Orbs intermittently.

We exclusively opt for the Hunt for Craiceann, which increases the chance for the Craicic Chimeral, resulting in more Craicic Chimerals overall. This choice is based on how the game determines which beast to spawn. We then pick the Two-Hearted Hunt, as it provides a 10 to 40% chance to avoid consumption, which is a valuable addition to our strategy.

Then, pick up the Shrines. They serve 2 purposes. Firstly, they can spawn enemies, which can drop maps. Secondly, they can grant us an Echoing Shrine, a movement speed Shrine, or a Covetous Shrine. A Covetous Shrine means potentially more maps, while movement speed and Echoing Shrine lead to faster clears and mapping times. Overall, Shrines are the most helpful among all the league mechanics without consuming extra time.

    Farming Tips

Let me give you some more tips. The Craicic Chimeral is the only beast, and it's from The Deep family. About what map to run, but choose it from Tier 3 to Tier 1 maps. The Dunes is a Tier 2 map but has a much better layout and also has the Fortunate card in the end. But I recommend Tier 3 maps the most as Craicic Chimeral spawn more frequently.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: This Harbinger Farming Method In SSF Requires Only Low Investment!

    Posted: Apr 19, 2024

In Path of Exile 3.24, Harbinger in SSF proves useful for several reasons, particularly for farming currency. It adds numerous monsters to the maps, and acquiring scarabs is relatively straightforward. This strategy is not overly complex to execute, and the investment required is minimal and can effectively complement other strategies.

    Strategy Overview

The idea of this strategy is incredibly straightforward: we aim to maximize the number of Harbingers in the map, buff them as much as possible. Despite its simplicity, it's a fun strategy. Harbingers can also spawn as a map modifier, resulting in some completely ludicrous maps filled with blue Harbingers.

They drop many hard-to-get currency orbs like Exalted Orbs, Orb of Annulment, Ancient Orbs, and even Fracturing Orbs, which are incredibly rare. You can use all the Ancient Orbs on unique belts in SSF. On average, you can take 3 to 4 Ancient Orbs per map, plus an Orb of Annulment and maybe an Exalted Orb.

To give you an idea of the loot that is in Tier 16 maps, with perhaps on average 80% map quantity, but that map quantity doesn't actually affect the results. You would maybe think that Harbingers drop the Beachhead map or the Landing Divination Card, which can be traded for the Beachhead.

    Harbinger Scarabs

For scarabs, I'm typically using 2 regular Harbinger Scarabs for 6 additional Harbingers, then one Harbinger Scarab of Discernment to increase their currency to be rare and drop one type. This means you either get a ton of the currency that you want or you don't get anything at all. But it saves you a lot of clicking.

The fourth scarab is the Harbinger Scarab of Regency, giving us a 50% chance for a Harbinger boss. The total chance of this is now 75% thanks to the passive tree. Sometimes, you will have enough of the Harbinger Scarab of Warhoards, which doubles the currency that you're getting, which is obviously amazing.

    Atlas Tree Setup

Let's talk about the atlas passive tree. First, we definitely choose the Harbinger nodes. First Wave gives a 25% chance for a more powerful Harbinger. Unspeakable Offensive makes them spawn their monsters much faster and speeds up the mechanic. Then you can take Rogues, as they drop tons of loot, and combined with the increased item quantity from Unrelenting Torment.

I’m skipping shrines entirely on this strategy. The Harbinger isn’t all that difficult. It’s a lot easier than Essence monsters or Rogues, so we can do without the shrines and spend those points elsewhere. I recommend running the Searing Exarch influence as it provides a steady stream of currency and scarabs, which is useful in SSF.

Running the league nodes for more corpses, more Allflame, and more buffs and debuffs on the monster packs. These synergize once more because the extra quantity and rarity modifiers are amazing in your maps. But also, we're playing the Necropolis League, and that means you should engage with the league mechanic.

To sustain, scarabs are crucial, so you can prioritize acquiring most scarab nodes on the Atlas tree. However, opt out of certain nodes that enhance map modifier effects. While these nodes don't boost map rewards, they make maps overly challenging and less enjoyable, which is unnecessary.

    Final Thought

I found a few pros of this strategy. The scarabs are fairly easy to find, and it works with a lot of combinations of Harbinger scarabs, so you can run this with whatever you want. You’re not really bound to one specific scarab. You can mix and match, and everything will basically just work. The loot is very consistent, and it’s also loot that you otherwise cannot get, like Fracturing Orbs.

However, there are also some cons too. The first is that the maps take quite a long time to complete with the Harbinger. You still have to wait quite a while before all the monsters show up. The second con is that the mechanics don't really interact with many other strategies, as the monsters despawn on death, and seemingly they're not affected at all by the Allflames. And the Harbinger currency isn't affected by item quantity or item rarity, so you have very few ways to juice the rewards.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: How To Harvest The Mageblood Using The New Ritual Scarabs? - A Quick Guide

    Posted: Apr 16, 2024

Hi, players! In this guide, I'll demonstrate how to acquire the Mageblood from the Ritual and provide you with the steps to attempt it yourself. The Ritual has become the main source of income for this new Necropolis League in the Path of Exile 3.24, allowing me to get or craft most of the gear I have so far. Without wasting time, let's dive in!

    Types Of Ritual Scarabs

As for the types of Ritual Scarabs, this includes having the Ritual on the Atlas Tree, as well as using the new the Ritual Scarabs introduced in POE 3.24. Typically, I use 2 of the Ritual Scarabs of Abundance.

The 2 remaining slots can be used for either the Ritual Scarabs of Selectiveness or the Ritual Scarab of Recognition for more Tribute if your map has unique enemies such as Rogue Exiles, or simply just Blood-filled Vessels for more mobs, a faster spawn rate, and much more Tribute.

Also Read: The Tides Of Time Unique Belt Is Ideal For Pathfinders In Path Of Exile 3.24 Necropolis!

    Atlas Tree Setup

On the Atlas Tree, we can now temporarily spec into Immutable Dogma. This no longer lets us roll but grants 100% more Tribute, allowing us to get the expensive Mageblood outright without having to keep deferring over time. It'll need 1 or 2 Divine Orbs to get it to 4 flasks, but other than that, it's great!

However, there are a few Atlas Map nodes which are super important for the Ritual:

    • Voll's Devotion: This ensures that you get four the Ritual Altars each map for more Tribute.
    • Ritual Special Reward Chance: These give us a better chance at the Rituals with either Uniques, currency, or divination card rewards.
    • Profitable Prayers: To allow re-rolling 2 additional times.
    • Sacred Lands & Smaller Ritual Special Reward Chance: With these, we can guarantee the Ritual in every map without a vessel or the map device craft.

    How To Get Ritual Scarabs?

There is no guarantee with the Ritual, as typically a lot will revolve around luck, but you can still find a lot of valuable items if you know what you're looking for. In this instance, the Mageblood came from an Apocalyptic Ritual in a map, one of the higher tier types which only offers all Uniques, all currency, or all divination cards.

Combined with 2 of the Abundant Scarabs and some luck, we managed to hit it. It's likely you won't be able to get it outright because of the Tribute cost, but as long as you can defer the item, it'll be secured for a future map and we can buy it later. This is now essentially locked in, and we can go and retrieve it on the next map.

    Ritual Special Rewards

So, how do we know when we find one of the rarer the Rituals? They typically have a different POE 3.24 model. All the Altars which are surrounded by a fence like the Sanguin Altar will have the rarer special rewards table. The same again here for the Volatile Altar.

They will also have typically more difficult modifiers to justify the increased rewards. The rarer Altar on the left and the more common on the right. Both can provide good loot. Just the special loot tables will always offer Uniques, divination cards, or even currency.

    Conclusion

Ritual is super low investment cost with only vessels or scarabs, otherwise we can now get 100% chance for Ritual Altars on the Atlas Tree. A lot of luck is involved, but you have the chance to get some real valuable items if you know what you're looking for.

After you have your Atlas Tree set up, it's just a case of running as many maps as you can, taking the valuable rewards, and hoping you get lucky. Hope you get lucky with the Ritual, and I'll see you in the next one, Exiles!

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: Discover The Potential Of This Aura Stacking Setup For Champion

    Posted: Apr 15, 2024

Welcome, fellow players! Let me share an effective setup for Champion aura stacking with you today. In the new League in Path of Exile 3.24, some new Uniques appear, and I will pick the Hand of Phrecia to stack the Champion aura and explore the interaction in this setup.

However, for the most part, this setup is very limiting in terms of build scope. I do believe that this setup can be effective. You just need to find the right avenue to go down to make the best use of this combination of mechanics. I will show the potential of these 2 unique items together for the Champion.

    Champion Ascendancy

The Champion ascendancy has the Inspirational notable which grants 30% increased aura effect and another 5% on the small node as well, and it also makes Banner skills have no Reservation, which is quite important to how many Reservation skills you're going to want to fit in with a setup like this.

    Passive Tree

The passive tree paths up into the Scion starting area, grabs the Mana Reservation Efficiency Mastery for 3 points, and then through the Evasion wheel, going into the Ranger's starting area for the Charisma wheel and also taking the Mastery for 8% increase damage per aura affecting you.

That Mastery is going to provide a great value for 1 point spent in this type of build, and then the tree also passes up the side of the Scion area to grab the Leadership wheel too for even more Mana Reservation Efficiency and aura effect.

Instead of socketed gems being supported by Level 30 Generosity, we have socketed gems have 49% increased effect of Non-Curse aura from your skills, and this simulates those socketed gems being supported by Level 30 Generosity while also using the Hand of Phrecia.

This current setup is using Grace, Determination, triple Purity, and Defiance Banner, and you can find that just with the scaling on this small passive tree, we're already at 42k Evasion, 30k armor, and 84% Maximum Elemental Resistances.

    Hand Of Phrecia

The Hand of Phrecia will allow you to use Generosity Support to provide a huge aura effect boost to linked auras, which allows you to gain the aura effect from this support gem whilst the aura itself still affects you because the gloves have a modifier which states that auras only affect you and linked targets.

    Victario's Influence

This unique body armor is very common and is typically used in builds to either support other players via a bunch of auras or empower the player's minions. It grants a large amount of Reservation Efficiency to socketed gems and supports those gems with Level 30 Generosity Support.

The cool thing about Victario's Influence though is that it's so common that you can just purchase these cheaply or find enough of them to corrupt them with Vaal Orbs for a corrupted implicit.

    Skill Gems

This build has all of its Mana reserved, but this is without using a helmet or any jewel sockets, so you can easily free up more Reservation Efficiency to pay skill cost with Mana. This will provide enough Mana for skill usage.

So in this setup, there are all Level 20 gems improved to Level 21 with the Victario's Influence modifier, which grants +1 to socketed aura gem levels. You can corrupt these gems to be Level 21, which would bring their total gem levels to 22.

In an aura stacking build, this extra 1% may seem trivial, but it's crucial. The aura effect breakpoint for gaining additional Maximum Resistance from these auras shifts from 25% to 20%.

You're looking for +2 to the level of socketed aura gems or +2 to the level of socketed AOE gems. You could fix the sockets after hitting the corruption if you wanted to use Tainted Jeweller's Orb and Tainted Chromatic Orb.

    Final Thought

This is just an example. You could use the classic Champion's best belt - Perseverance to make use of the arm and Evasion. You could instead choose to spec into Iron Reflexes on the tree and go for more of an armor stacking setup, but you’re unlikely to scale a Breach Core body armor for that type of build.

If you didn’t want to use the triple Purity aura setup, you could instead go for a single Purity and drop the other 2 and then make use of Purity of Elements for the elemental ailment immunity that it provides and use melding of the flesh to gain all Maximum Elemental Resistances based on a single Purity of Elements that you chose to go with.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: This Method Is Effective For Farming Huge Amount Of Orbs

    Posted: Apr 13, 2024

I've been experimenting with various farming strategies in Path Of Exile 3.24 new league, and today, I stumbled upon a new method that works very well. This strategy is truly remarkable, and everything you obtain will be in the form of Chaos Orbs. While the initial investment is quite high, once you make your first set of investments, the profits keep rolling in.

    How It Works

This farm works by forcing strongboxes to spawn a specific monster from the Allflames, and this monster is from the Allflame Ember of Manifested Wealth. If you don’t know, this Allflame monster pack drops a lot of Chaos Orbs and even Exalted Orbs frequently, and this is what we’re going to be farming.

We’ll be combining so many strongboxes and the chance to open strongboxes again, as the Allflame monsters do appear in strongboxes. They aren’t always guaranteed to be in them, but the chance of them being there is very high, and this is actually how we keep our profits up.

    Farming Investments

Now, for the investments, the primary item to acquire is the Allflame Ember of Manifested Wealth. This component is undoubtedly pivotal, and I suggest focusing on the Yellow Maps for optimal results. Monster levels ranging from 68 to 78 tend to be more affordable.

However, if you seek one with a level of 79 or higher, expect a significantly higher price, potentially around 100K. Therefore, prioritize those under Level 78, as they are more budget-friendly.

When it comes to scarabs, prioritize acquiring the Ambush Scarab of Hidden Compartments, which provides a 50% chance for the strongboxes in the area to be openable again. Additionally, consider obtaining the Ambush Scarab, which adds 5 extra strongboxes. This investment is crucial for maximizing profits.

If you already have 4 slots, consider investing in either the Domination Scarab for additional shrines or the Scarab of Monstrous Lineage, which boosts magic pack size. Both options yield similar results, and while it's uncertain whether they affect outcomes, I prefer prioritizing shrines.

The last part of the investment is our Map Device, and we’ll be using the Ambush Map Device for another 5 additional strongboxes.

    Atlas Tree

For our tree, getting more map nodes, trying to get the Monstrous Treasure and Shrine nodes. Then grab Tamper-Proof and Secret Compartment. Once we get that, we also want to grab these Shrine nodes, as well as the Quality for Atlas tree.

Lastly, grabbed all the strongbox nodes. It doesn’t really matter which strongboxes we get, we just want any of them. Take additional Shrine nodes, cover to Shrine the last Invasive Adversaries, and then Remarkable Relics. So, I’m just trying to get as many shrines, boxes, and effects of stuff on our maps.

    Avoid Rituals

Avoid engaging in rituals for farming, as killing monsters in rituals, especially the manifested wealth, doesn't yield any drops despite their appearance. Additionally, refrain from using more than one Allflame, particularly if it drops currency like Tainted Currency or Abyss Jewels. Using multiple Allflames can decrease the appearance rate of Manifested Wealth monsters in the strongboxes.

    Harvest

Here's the breakdown: we can obtain 1,446 Chaos Orbs, 54 Exalted Orbs, and 44 Vaal Orbs. Now, let's delve into 25 maps using the Manifested Wealth strategy. You can acquire them at 175 chaos per set. Considering the price change, I gained 94 chaos per map, totaling 7,000 chaos across 25 maps, with a profit of 2,300. The investment will hover around 4,000 to 5,000.

This strategy is remarkably simple. You don't need an overpowering character. You're essentially dispatching harmless creatures with minimal risk to your character.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: Is The Dunes Map A Wise Choice For Essence Farming In Necropolis?

    Posted: Apr 12, 2024

In this guide for Path of Exile 3.24, the purpose is to clarify the currency farming strategy that I customize for the Essence. This farming is set in the Dunes Map, including the effects of 3 Essence Scarabs, a Scarab of Ascension with the Essence map mod and the Searing Exarch influence.

It is advisable to pick the Dunes Map for Essence farming. Compared with other maps, we can avoid the demand for large-scale map rolling and can maximize the number of quantities and rareness.

    Strategy Overview

The strategy is straightforward: Utilize the Cartography Scarab of Ascension along with 3 small Essence Scarabs, the Essence map mod, and Searing Exarch influence. The decision to use the Dunes Map for Essence farming is intentional and the simplicity of its navigation and the potential of Boss Rush.

It should be noted that killing the boss isn't necessary, as it garners ample essences from Crystal Resonance. The boss is nowhere near as crazy as it is in the high-end strategy where you use the Essence Scarab of Calcification, but it is still advisable to bring the boss below 50% health to speed up the kill at the end of the map.

    Farming Build

If your build boasts a formidable damage output, let’s say around 20 million DPS or higher, it’s advisable to prioritize eliminating a few essences before engaging the boss. This precautionary measure prevents accidental boss kills, which could diminish your number of Essence each time it occurs.

For minion-based builds, strategic allocation of passive points is crucial. Consider investing in skills like Indomitable Army and physical damage reduction to counter the effects of Corrupted Blood. Without these defensive measures, your minions will require substantial damage output and life recovery capabilities to effectively contend with the Essence monsters.

    Map Rolling Tips

The Dunes Map doesn’t have to be rolled much. I recommend to just chisel and alch the Dunes Map to increase loot and get the occasional high-quantity maps for other strategies.

Even though this is not a strategy for Essence Scarab of Calcification, it’s still advisable to roll maps with strong defensive mods like more monster life and damage reduction for physical and elemental builds because you want to kill the Essence monsters and the boss as quickly as possible.

    Farming Investment

The investment in the farming required is minimal. It’s around 8 chaos for the map itself, 14 chaos for the Scarabs, and another 3 chaos for the map mod, for 25 chaos per map. In the 20 loot breakdown maps, there are 6 Fortress Maps, which actually constitute most of our total amount of Essence farming.

All the Essences that we found still dwarf this, with the Essences of Envy and Loathing being the most valuable ones. So, they make up more of the total than the other essences. The Incandescent Imitation is on 20 maps. So you can probably reduce this by 20% or so, given the total amount of POE Currency.

The total map cost, including the 25 chaos, actually translates to profit rather than losses. While there are some additional items, like the Polaric Invitations, chaos orbs, and great jammers, they don't contribute substantially to the total currency gained.

    Final Thought

If there were any exceptionally valuable drops, they would have been highlighted. We did find one fortunate drop, but it was quite average. As for items like coffins and Allflames, they don't significantly contribute to the overall currency.

Considering coffins, for instance, they don't add much to your earnings, so skipping them won't cause a substantial loss. Allflames, on the other hand, are a bit more impactful. But overall, the main contributors to currency are the Essences and the Fortress maps we found, with smaller items like Polaric Invitations and bubblegum currency also playing a role.

While the sample size isn't huge, the consistency of the earnings is noteworthy. You can expect to earn around 15 divines per hour if you consistently run this strategy and can navigate the maps efficiently. On average, it took me about 2 and a half to 3 minutes per map. Cutting down on this time further could potentially increase your earnings even more.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: Is The Ngamahu's Flame Cyclone Berserker In Necropolis League Worth Trying?

    Posted: Apr 11, 2024

In this guide, we're venturing into the fascinating realm of character builds in Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League. Our focus lies on the Ngamahu's Flame Cyclone Berserker, a powerful build residing within the Marauder class.

    Pros & Cons

Now, let's explore the pros of this build in greater detail. Firstly, the clear speed is exceptional. Utilizing Cyclone, you sustain perpetual motion, delivering a thrilling whirlwind experience as you effortlessly decimate foes. Moreover, this build offers impressive single-target damage output without requiring extensive investment.

However, let's address the cons as well. The primary concern lies in survivability. Despite incorporating multiple defensive layers, this build necessitates proximity to enemies, rendering it vulnerable to incoming attacks. Furthermore, as a Berserker, you inherently endure a 10% increase in damage taken, exacerbating the survivability challenge.

    About Ngamahu's Flame Axe

Ngamahu's Flame Axe features a unique built-in skill, Molten Burst, triggered with a 20% chance on melee hit, akin to Molten Strike. This presents an excellent opportunity for a trigger build with high attack speed. Cyclone distinguishes itself as the optimal skill for triggering Molten Burst due to its swift attack speed and the capability to move while executing attacks.

With approximately 20 hits per second on a single enemy, Molten Burst becomes a reliable source of damage. The skill can be supported by 6 support gems, and the axe doesn't require its sockets to be linked, simplifying the build assembly. Enhancing damage further, players can anoint their amulet with Vengeant Cascade to make projectiles bounce, and utilize Point Blank Support for up to 30% more damage.

    Budget Of This Build

To begin tackling endgame maps on a budget, you can kickstart with approximately 90 chaos. However, to smoothly progress to yellow maps, it's advisable to invest around 150 chaos for a more comfortable experience. For easily completing your Atlas, I recommend investing around 6 Divine Orbs. Otherwise, your survivability won't be enough, and you'll end up dying a lot.

You need 2 mandatory unique items for this build. The primary and pivotal component is the Ngamahu's Flame Axe. It instantly converts 60% of your physical damage into fire, provides 20% fire penetration, and initiates Molten Burst upon hits, significantly amplifying single-target damage.

Next, we also need the Stampede boots, which guarantee that our movement speed is always 150% of its base. This is great because now we can replace the regular Cyclone with Cyclone of Tumult for a lot more damage and AOE effect for clear speed.

    Performance Ratings

I will analyze whether this build is suitable for POE 3.24 Necropolis League from these 3 aspects: clear speed, boss damage and survivability.

Clear Speed: When assessing the clear speed, this build shines with an impressive rating of 9 out of 10. The Cyclone skill emerges as a standout feature, facilitating effortless traversal across varied terrains and swiftly dispatching enemies, enabling uninterrupted movement.

Boss Damage: When assessing the damage on bosses, this build achieves a flawless rating of 10 out of 10. The introduction of the Cyclone of Tumult significantly amplifies attack speed, leading to more frequent activation of Molten Burst. As a result, even the most formidable bosses are swiftly brought to their knees within mere moments.

Survivability: When evaluating the survivability of this build, it attains a rating of 7 out of 10. Although bolstered by substantial life reserves, permanent Fortify, heightened armor, evasion, and spell suppression, the build is not without its vulnerabilities, particularly in close-quarters combat scenarios.

This inherent risk becomes more pronounced, especially when facing off against high-tier maps without sufficient investment in fortifying survivability attributes.

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: How About This New Transfigured Gems Added To Necropolis League? - Tornado Of Elemental Turbulence

    Posted: Apr 03, 2024

The arrival of Path of Exile 3.24 brings a series of exciting new content. The most attractive to me is the newly added Transfigured Gems to Necropolis League. Tornado of Elemental Turbulence is one of them. Its stats look pretty good, and it has the potential to be a very good single target skill.

In this guide, let’s talk about what this new Tornado of Elemental Turbulence skill gem is like and whether it’s worth using as a league starter.

How Does Tornado Of Elemental Turbulence Work?

First, let’s see what this gem does. As the description says, it can convert physical damage into fire, cold or lightning damage.

In addition, Tornado will also chase enemies, especially when fighting Uber Catarina, Tornado’s movement speed is fast.

It has a base duration of 4 seconds and a hit rate of 0.25. So this skill basically hits 4 times in one second. You can also have 3 tornados at the same time, and both can hit the same target, causing extremely high additional damage. The damage efficiency of this skill will be around 780%, which is very high compared to other skills.

Also, don’t forget that you can adjust the duration of the skill so you only have to cast it every 4 seconds or so, depending on your duration.

Regarding gem quality, it can increase Tornado’s movement speed by 2%-40%. This is pretty fast, but still slightly inferior to the clear levels of Tornado Shot and Lightning Arrow.

It’s also worth mentioning that its base cast speed is 0.75 seconds slower, but you can use Clear Unleash in the link. Since the tornado can move and chase targets, this means they can even leave the screen if you have enough skill duration and movement speed. So in theory you could cast every 5 seconds and clear the pack easily.

    How To Scale Damage?

Now let’s talk about scaling and Ascendancy you can choose for this skill.

Level scaling is the easiest way to add damage to your spell build. What’s really important is that the gems here also have Prismatic tags, so you can use Combat Focus jewels to force out the elements you want to scale. For example, you can have the skill only to deal cold damage so you have a Cold Tornado, or you can force fire and make a Fire Tornado.

It has Cold, Fire and Lightning tags, so any corresponding gem or skill tag increases will increase the damage of that skill.

In addition, if your POE Currency is enough, you can also purchase some unique items to use with this skill, resulting in higher damage capabilities. Assuming you use Combat Focus jewels to create Lightning or Fire Tornado, then you can use Replica Cold Iron Point Dagger to increase the skill by 6 levels.

Because the gem has a cold tag and you don’t take cold damage, you can choose between fire or lightning damage.

    How To Stack More Poisons?

The main reason I’m so excited about this ability is because you can force fire damage away and then convert the fire damage into chaos.

To maximize damage, poison with chaos damage is a good way to do it. So what synergies well with poison? That must be Pathfinder.

So my theory is that you would use 2 Consuming Dark Daggers, so you would convert 60% of the fire damage into chaos, and then you could poison with chaos damage, since the daggers would give chaos damage a 120% poison chance. So you don’t have to put poison chance on the tree at all.

How To Convert Remaining Fire Damage?

The question now is, what are we going to do with the rest of the unconverted fire damage? I’m considering using Infernal Mantle body armor, which would make the gem level higher.

Therefore, by Consuming Dark and Infernal Mantle, we can increase Tornado level to 25. If we can get +1 corruption with gem corruption, then we can even get to level 26, which is a very large damage increase for all spell skills.

Additionally, chest converts 15% of fire damage to chaos, so we’re left with 25% of fire damage unconverted, which is acceptable.

The only big drawback of the chest is the increased spell damage taken on low mana, which is a very dangerous modifier for this item and very difficult to counter. Remember that most of the damage that is dangerous to us in the game is spells, this will make our life much more difficult.

    Tornado Duration

Also, since by default, as a Pathfinder, you’ll be using Malevolence most of the time, this will also increase the duration of the tornado by 20% if you don’t take into account the increased aura effect of the tree.

So without adding any duration, your base duration of 4 seconds will become 4.8 seconds. But you can increase Entropy nodes on the tree by another 10% and add the aura effect. Because you’re going to get Charisma and the little nodes here and the effects at the top of the tree.

This is another 26% increased aura effect, so your 20% increased duration will become a 25% increased. This means your tornado duration will be 5.4 seconds, which is really huge.

Also, keep in mind that there are 3 tornados that stack poison on enemies, and that tornados are hit-based spells. Therefore, Pathfinder Ascendancy node Nature’s Reprisal will help stack Wither on the target. Since 3 tornados will hit every 0.25 enemies, stacking Wither is very easy. So in theory, poison seems to me to be an excellent choice.

    Ascendancy Options For Non-Poison Variant

But if you want to play with a non-poison variant, there are some options. The most obvious Ascendancy choice is Inquisitor.

He can gain a high critical hit rate with Righteous Providence, and can ignore monsters’ elemental resistances with Inevitable Judgment. You can also use Righteous Fire to deal with extra damage that can be easily recovered.

Additionally, you also have access to a good elemental damage increasing nodes. Combat Focus setup here is very important if you want to use specific elemental damage types.

Can Archmage Or Traps Synergize With Tornado?

I want to talk about some things about Archmage here. A lot of people want to ask why not use Tornado with Archmage and the reason is Orb tag in gems.

In Necropolis League, Archmage no longer supports orb skills. Unfortunately, Tornado still has this tag, so this option has disappeared.

You might also think of Tornado with Traps. Sure, it still works, but theoretically you can’t go beyond Tornado’s maximum limits. If you try this with the basic Tornado, it will disappear after your second traps are activated. But maybe there will be a bug in it and you can make more than 3 tornados.

    Outro

All in all, I think this Tornado of Elemental Turbulence has huge potential to become an excellent skill. If it could be paired with Pathfinder, it would make for a powerful build. So, hurry up and give it a try!

  • Path Of Exile 3.24: The First Choice For Low-Budget Players To Enter Necropolis League! - Cold Shockwave Totem Hierophant

    Posted: Mar 28, 2024

With POE 3.24 right around the corner, I’m finally back with my powerful yet cheap league starter build, which is Crit Cold Shockwave Totem Hierophant! It can take you all the way to kill Uber Pinnacle Boss with a reasonable investment.

Before we get into that, however, I have to warn you that this build is not intended for Solo Self-Found. So if you want SSF builds, look for other ways.

    How To Scale Damage?

Shockwave Totem is a purely physical spell, with multiple ways to scale its damage. In this build, we equip Hrimsorrow Gloves, which convert all physical damage into cold damage. This allows us to use things like Cold Penetration and Hatred Aura for high damage.

I use Bitterdream Unique Sceptre as my chief weapon. As we said before, all support gems help scale cold damage. Chills and Freezes are like a layer of defense that makes me feel very safe while mapping.

Next, place your key skill here and you will get a pseudo 9 link. You can equip this Scepter starting at level 32. However, I highly recommend equipping it only after completing the campaign, otherwise you may run into some mana issues.

Thrillsteel is another unique item I use that provides permanent Onslaught.

Since Shockwave Totem scales very well with cast speed. Therefore, it is very important to increase the casting speed on your gear, especially jewelry. For other stats, focus mainly on Life, Resistances and Attributes.

Shockwave Totem has a glaring weakness in that it can only hit enemies within range, and enemies are always pushed out of range after knock-back, meaning you need to constantly re-summon your totem, which can be annoying. However, Astral Projector Unique Ring will be of great help to your Totem.

Using Astral Projector, you can place Totem anywhere and they will cast Nova spells directly on enemies. The cost should be around 30 Chaos Orbs at the start of the league.

Of course, you can get through tier 16 maps without it, but if you want to start doing harder content, buying Astral Projector should be your priority.

    Gear

Next, let’s take a look at the gear for this build.

These 3 unique items I mentioned earlier are all you need to start mapping up to tier 16 maps.

You don’t need life on your Body Armor because when using this Life Mastery, if we don’t have the life modifier on our Body Armor, our life will increase by 15%.

However, we can’t increase totem life from anywhere, so anoint Ironwood to prevent your totem from dying quickly. This is especially important when you get to Red Maps, but don’t worry, the oils you need are very cheap.

Your priority after this is to purchase Astral Projector Ring. Once you get Sleepless Sentries Cluster Jewel, you can change the helmet. Using Essence of Loathing can improve mana reservation efficiency on the helmet. Until you have enough POE Currency to switch to Devouring Diadem.

Devouring Diadem provides Eldritch Battery, which allows us to reserve all mana and spend Energy Shield instead of skills. Along with the shields, they are crucial to incorporating all our auras into this build.

When purchasing Skin of the Lords, make sure you get the correct socket color, as they cannot be modified later in any way, including Tainted Chromatic Orb. With this gear equipped, you can unspecify Ancestral Bond from the skill tree.

Leadership’s Price is a good amulet both offensively and defensively. Brittle Conflux will increase our critical hit chance, Scorch Conflux will reduce the enemy’s elemental resistance, and Sap Conflux will reduce the damage caused by the enemy.

In order to get these Confluxes, your two highest attributes must be equal. Even though my intelligence is 70 higher than my strength, with the return of tattoos we should be able to easily match the 2 highest attributes. Of course, don’t forget to anoint your amulet.

How To Convert All Physical To Cold Damage?

When you get into the late game, you may want to use a rare pair of gloves instead of Hrimsorrow. So, how do we convert all physical damage into cold damage?

First, we get Cold Mastery, which converts 40% of physical damage into cold damage, another 39% from Watcher’s Eye, and then another 20% from my gloves. I know it’s 99% total, but you could try to get 25% Eldritch Implicit on your gloves, then you’d get 100% cold damage.

100% Chance Of Avoiding Elemental Ailments

Also, this build has a 100% chance of avoiding Elemental Ailments. Of this, 30% comes from Astral Projector, 51% comes from My Boots, and the other 20% comes from Shield Mastery.

    Mana Reservation Efficiency

I’m running 6 auras on this build. I gained mana reservation efficiency from my Skill Tree, Level 4 Enlighten Support, Charisma Anoint, Devouring Diadem, and my Shield. Assuming you’re still a little short of mana after getting all of this, you can try adding some mana to your gear.

This build has a critical hit rate of around 98% without Bottled Faith because of Brittle Conflux by Leadership’s Price. In order to reach Brittle cap of Uber Boss, I acquired Critical Mastery and Militant Faith, and added the effect of non-damaging ailments.

    Avoid Farming No Hit Sanctum

This build can complete most mechanics, but I don’t recommend it for farming no hit Sanctum, as this build does not apply Freeze, which is also the major defense for running no hit Sanctum.

That’s it for the complete guide to Crit Cold Shockwave Totem Hierophant build. Necropolis League is coming soon, so get your best build ready to get into the game!
