Hi, fellow gamers! I know a lot of you are in need of a simple UI guide, and with the WoW Cataclysm Classic just around the corner, this is the perfect time to set it up to be fast and smooth. Let me walk you through several important addons you need to have. Let's get started!

CurseForge

The first thing that you need to do is to get the CurseForge addon updated. You’ve got to be able to keep track of all of your addons and update them with every new patch, especially at the beginning of the new WoW expansion. There are going to be a lot of bugs, so having this updated every day before you log in by pressing 'Update All' on the addons is going to make your game smoother.

DarkMode

DarkMode is an addon that can darken various user interface (UI) elements in the game. Once installed, it uniformly alters the appearance of Action Bars, Unit Frames, Minimaps, Character Panels, Quest Logs, and more, creating a dark look across the entire interface. Its installation is very simple and does not require any setup.

Easy Frames

Easy Frames are smooth and clean, providing a lot of information. With this addon, you can access the settings and choose class-colored frames, which will apply the class color to every frame. You can further customize these frames, adjusting their size and appearance. Easy focus target, party frames - they all have a uniform look, with names displayed above and customizable name colors. Besides, you can adjust the size of buffs, including font size.

SexyMap

Onto the next addon, which is called the SexyMap. Simply install it, right-click it, navigate to User-Submitted Presets, and select Faded Square. This is the preset that I prefer and you can choose it too. You can adjust the scale of the map - I recommend use it at 1.1, but you can increase it further if you prefer. You also have the option to lock the map. However, you can also keep it unlocked for easy dragging.

Rested XP

Another addon frequently requested is the Rested XP, which you may already be familiar with or have installed. If you wish to integrate it seamlessly into your entire UI, simply right-click, navigate to Options, then Look and Feel, and choose Dark Mode by Bypass. Additionally, you can adjust the scale to your preference. This will give your UI a darker appearance.

Bagnon

Another component of this UI setup is the bag, which can be managed using Bagnon. This addon is popular with many players for its smooth integration and aesthetic appeal. With Bagnon, you can easily customize it to match the rest of your UI. Simply right-click to access the options menu, then choose a skin.

You can adjust the background color to a darker shade and also customize the border color accordingly. This helps the bag seamlessly blend into the overall UI, complementing the square map, guide, and other elements. Bagnon also offers convenient functionality, allowing you to easily check the amount of WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold across different characters and effortlessly rearrange items as needed.

HidingBar

Another aspect of this UI setup is the map, which you can achieve clean and icon-free by using a tool called HidingBar. With this addon, all the usual map icons are neatly tucked away, providing a clutter-free interface. You can easily customize the placement of the HidingBar by dragging it to your preferred location.

When you hover over the HidingBar, various options such as Looking for Group, Bulletin Board, and Nova World Buffs become available, allowing for quick access to essential features without cluttering the map. Overall, HidingBar helps maintain a clean and unobstructed view while playing the game.

Leatrix Map

The next one is a beautiful setup - Leatrix Map. In my opinion, it should be a default addon for any WoW Classic player. It's minimalistic, allowing you to zoom in and move it around to your heart's content. Plus, it has a stylish dark theme, but if that's not your style, you can probably customize the color to your liking.

Leatrix Plus

Another essential addon is Leatrix Plus. It offers a variety of enhancements for your interface. For instance, you can double the size of your Quest Log and Tooltips with just a simple click. You can also customize your Tooltip to attach it to your mouse pointer or to the right of the screen. Leatrix Plus also provides options to display guild ranks of other players and show unit targets' health bars, among other useful features.

Moreover, Leatrix Plus offers additional functionalities such as disabling loot warnings, enabling faster auto-loot, and maximizing camera zoom. You can also fine-tune your chat settings, ensuring a clutter-free interface. These features are invaluable throughout your adventures in the WoW Cataclysm and beyond.

SpellActivationOverlay

Last, I'll be utilizing an addon known as SpellActivationOverlay, seamlessly integrating it into this UI setup. It proves beneficial for a multitude of classes, enhancing gameplay with its captivating animations. Whether it's Elemental Shamans or any other class, these visual cues ensure you maximize your performance.

Archaeology, introduced as a secondary profession in WoW Cataclysm Classic, offers access to some of the game's most formidable items, such as Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds, or the Staff of Sorcerer Thane-Thaurissan. In this guide, we'll explore how to swiftly and efficiently level up Archaeology, ensuring you acquire these remarkable items along the journey.

Essential Addons

First of all, if you’re leveling Archaeology, there are 3 addons that I highly recommend. You might already be familiar with them, but if not, they can significantly enhance your Archaeology experience. These addons are the GatherMate2 Classic, Minimal Archaeology, and TomTom. Together, they streamline the Archaeology process, making it much more convenient and efficient.

GatherMate2 Classic allows you to easily identify locations where you've previously excavated Archaeology fragments. By consulting your map, you can swiftly pinpoint these spots and prioritize them for your next dig. If a particular location doesn't yield the desired fragments, GatherMate2 Classic provides directional cues through color indicators like red, yellow, and green.

Utilizing this information, you can deduce the most probable location based on past visits. TomTom complements this by offering a helpful arrow to guide your path, while Minimal Archaeology determines the destination of this arrow.

Together, these addons streamline the Archaeology process, transforming it from a task requiring thoughtful consideration into a straightforward endeavor akin to following a guided path, akin to the ease of following the blue arrow in RestedXP.

Archaeology Leveling

When you first learn Archaeology, from levels 1 to 50, you'll be gaining skill-ups by simply digging up fragments. Past that level, digging up fragments won't level up your profession. So, it's advisable to avoid crafting any artifacts until you're at Level 50. It's a good idea to carry enough WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold with you.

Craft items to avoid reaching the fragment cap, but ensure you reach level 450 with around 200 fragments for that specific race. Don't spend all your fragments on crafting useless items before reaching this milestone. Additionally, the best continent for leveling up in Archaeology is Eastern Kingdoms. It's slightly smaller than Kalimdor and tends to have dig sites closer to each other.

You'll also unlock Outland dig sites at Level 300, Northrend dig sites at Level 375, and Uldum dig sites for Tol'vir artifacts at 450. Stick to Eastern Kingdoms until you reach max level or obtain the item you're after, as there's little point in traveling to other continents unless you specifically need an item from those races.

One aspect not often discussed is that the Epic items obtained from Archaeology are all account-bound, meaning you can mail them to any of your alts. This makes Archaeology more alt-friendly, as you only need to level it once on one character. Although obtaining a pre-BiS item from this profession is long and tedious, if you happen to get one for a class you already have, at least you didn't obtain it for nothing.

The minimum level to start seeing big-ticket items is 450. Avoid crafting items from the race that has your pre-BiS before reaching this level. However, there's a cap of 200 fragments for each race, and you'll likely reach this cap on your way to 450 if you don't craft anything from them.

Drop Rates

Lastly, let's talk about drop rates. In Archaeology, every race has a set amount of common and rare artifacts that can appear and thankfully only one Epic artifact, meaning we can easily calculate the odds you'll get your Epic item from those races.

For Trolls, the odds of getting the Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds are thankfully among the highest at 7%. For Dwarves, the Staff is unfortunately only at 3%. The Epic chest from Night Elves at 4%, 10% for the Epic male helmet from Orcs, 17% for the one-handed axe from Fossils.

Here is a bit particular as it has 6 Epic items out of a total of 13 artifacts, making your odds of getting an Epic artifact at 46%. However, you cannot guarantee which one you'll get. And also, Tol'vir artifacts share spawns with all of Dwarf dig sites, making these two artifacts quite tough to get if you're after them.

If you're a seasoned player, then preparing for the quests in WoW Cataclysm Classic before release on May, 20th should be an important thing. Pre-questing in Cataclysm differs from previous expansions because of a variety of factors that need to be taken into account beyond simply rushing to reach the maximum level as fast as possible.

In this guide, we'll explore the best approach for pre-questing to tackle the launch this time around, depending on your goals, giving you a head start in the leveling process. Let's dive in!

This strategy comes down to you having a Quest Log filled with 25 quests that are efficient to turn in, so you can get a quick boost before heading to the Mount Hyjal to do the quests.

Ideally, this route should not take more than 3 to 4 minutes to complete and thus will require a few items to make work. So don't forget to prepare for enough WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold in advance. Let me go over the route that I think will be the most efficient experience in WoW Cataclysm Classic:

Start In Dalaran

We begin the expansion journey in Dalaran, the Sons of Hodir daily quest zone. In this location, we complete 6 quests along with an Everfrost Chip that should not be accepted until turning in another quest during the launch. Remember to click it during the turn-in process.

After turning in all 7 quests, we utilize our Wormhole Generator to reach Storm Peaks, putting us in the old Ulduar zone. Here, we can turn in 3 quests in Halls of Lightning and 2 quests in Halls of Stone. In WoW Cataclysm, the quest givers were conveniently moved to the dungeon entrances, so entering and exiting swiftly completes the task.

Argent Tournament

Next, we use the Argent Crusader's Tabard to teleport to the Argent Tournament. Ideally, there should be 9 dailies available here for completion. If lacking the tabard or unlocked daily quests, prioritizing the Wormhole Generator usage and then proceeding to the faction-specific questing hub is recommended to fill up the Quest Log.

Mount Hyjal

After completing quests at the Argent Tournament, numerous quests will still be in the Quest Log, awaiting completion at Level 81. Utilizing the Hearthstone set to Everlook in Winterspring, flying into Mount Hyjal, and beginning questing from Level 81 onwards is the next step.

Once reaching Level 81 with enough quests to level up to 82, using the Dalaran Ring or Jaina's Locket to return to Dalaran to turn in the 2 daily Heroic quests and the fishing daily is advised.

Complete Deepholm

If possessing a reply code Alpha from killing Algalon, it should be turned in now, although completing this part may be challenging because of the inability to turn in the quest during active Roleplaying (RP). Ensuring a way to return to Dalaran later is crucial for accessing the portal to Caverns of Time and starting quests in Uldum.

Upon completing Deepholm, returning to Orgrimmar via portal to turn in the cooking and fishing daily, clicking the head of Nefarian in the bag, turning in, and completing a personal summons and the follow-up for an almost instant 30k experience is recommended. It's advisable to have a Weakaura that tracks quest completion experience to simplify tracking progress.

Following this strategy should bring you close to revered with Guardians of Hyjal and reach Level 82 in about 1 and 1/2 hours, providing a significant head start in Deepholm with minimal competition.

One of the most enjoyable parts of Cataclysm expansion for World of Warcraft Classic is the introduction of the new transmogrification system. This allows the player’s armor and weapons to visually transform into any other armor or weapon style of the same type that the player has learned.

In WoW transmog, it’s nothing less than a complete change in how fancy or stylish or awkward your character looks.

It also provides an awesome solution to the age-old problem of new expansions being too corny, as you can trade in mismatched greens collected while leveling up for levels.

If you want to skip this visually awkward stage, then you need to know the main things about the Transmogrification System changes in WOW Cataclysm Classic. In addition, we have also prepared WOW Cataclysm Classic Gold for you, which allows you to trade more smoothly in the game. Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

To Gain Transmog Skins

Whenever you get a good rare piece of gear and intend to bind it to your character - which you do by equipping it, which also makes it untradeable - you gain that look. The same applies to all the devices you carry in your backpack and bank.

If it’s tied to you, it will also accurately calculate the amount of gear you have for almost any mission you’ve completed previously. As a bonus to you, this also includes those options you didn’t choose from these missions.

If you see a piece of loot drop, include it in the loot world scrolling window, in a player-created link, or on Auction House. If you hover over the window, you’ll see the text “You haven’t gotten this look yet” at the bottom of it because you don’t know about transmogrification yet. But it’s convenient because you can tell at a glance if you already have the transmog appearance.

If you want to review an appearance that’s already in your inventory, click Collections on Minibar (horse head or Shift-P by default) and select Appearance Tab. You can endlessly browse through the different armor parts above and see the transmogrification options available for each part.

You must have the ability to equip that armor or weapon type to be able to use the appearance, and if you want a transform weapon, it also needs to be of the same type. For example, Daggers can only transform into other daggers, and mailbox items can only transform into other mailbox slot appearances, not across items.

Adjust Your Gear

In order to match the appearance of the armor you are currently wearing with the rest of your armor, you need to access Transmogrifier. The locations of these useful ethereal NPCs are in Stormwind — Thaumaturge Vashreen, along the canal near Cathedral — and in Orgrimmar, where you’ll find the Warpweaver Dushar in Drag.

You can talk to Transmogrifier and click on the armor you want to change, and you’ll see a variety of different options. Click this option to see how your character will look, then press Apply to determine how you want your character to look.

Transmogrification consumes the player’s gold coins, and the amount will change according to the armor slot.

To remove a transmogged appearance, you can overwrite and replace it with another appearance, or hover your mouse over it in Transmogrifier window and click the small recursive arrow on that section in the upper right corner, then click Apply to make the changes.

This will make the player’s armor look as it did before they were “mogged”. Transmogrification lasts for a long time before being overwritten. If you don’t want to transmogrify, you can revert to its original appearance for free.

Classic transmogrification appearance helps you get started quickly.

Old tier sets (and their similar pieces for other classes of the same armor type) are the best source for transmog gorgeous looks. Now it’s time to get back to those old single-player classic raids and dungeons and find those great looks you’ve been missing.

Of particular note are pieces with beautifully animated effects that would work well in transmog. Such as Warlock level 6 helm wings from Archimonde in Hyjal Summit Helm Token, and Shaman level 10 shoulders and from Icecrown Citadel and spectral shoveltusks.

Transmogrification lets you legitimately access dungeons, raids, and stuff you already know, but unfortunately, you can’t transform Cataclysm Classic.

Here are some other great transmog ideas to help you roll in Cataclysm Classic:

If you love role-playing, now’s your chance to channel your inner lumberjack with Red Lumberjack Shirt (green-quality shirts can be transmogrified, but they’re just a transmogrification item), paired with a nice low-level Burning Crusade Zones Reaver’s Sickle and other axes.

What do you think of farmers wearing overalls and shovels? Crafted items can also be transmogrified, as long as they are green quality or better than green quality.

If you want a more revealing outfit, consider Robes of Guardian Saint dress from Fankriss in Ahn’qiraj or Black Mageweave Leggings for cloth wearers, or Barbaric Harness and Warbear Woolies.

Mail wearers, check out Blood Knight set. Plate wearers may also want Jade Plate or Glorious sets.

Although you complete the mission in a green environment, you can now possess a number of iconic weapons. Think of Hanzo sword (or other color variants) as a rogue’s classic Katana Sword look, or the quest reward Argent Avenger as your own lightsaber.

You can show off your quest achievements in vanilla by transmogging a Benediction (or Anathema!) staff for a priest, a Rhok’delar bow for a hunter, or a Quel’Serrar for a warrior.

The current period presents an ideal opportunity to farm Justice Points in WoW Cataclysm Classic. These points are crucial for obtaining pre-bis gear right at the launch of the expansion. In this guide, we'll delve into the importance of these points and effective strategies to farm them.

Justice Points Explained

So, let's talk about the Justice Points, the ultimate key to gearing up in WoW Cataclysm Classic. The Justice Points are the brand new currency available right now, and they're going to be used when WoW Cataclysm Classic launches on May 20th. They're primarily used to get rare 346 item level pre-BiS items.

For the Alliance, those items can be purchased at Faldren Tillsdale in Old Town. And for the Horde, they'll be spent at Grommash Hold. You can actually stockpile up to 4,000, which is enough to get 1 to 3 items depending on which ones you pick.

In the pre-patch, you can generate Justice Points from queuing for the Heroic RDF. Every boss you kill in those Heroics will also generate Justice Points as well. And then, on top of that, you can also pick up daily quests from the Archmage Lan'dalock. There are both Heroic and gamma quests available, and you can do them both at the same time.

As for raids, you'll get big Justice Points from the weekly raid quest. You'll also get Justice Points from every single boss kill, which means ICC runs are definitely back on the menu. And when we're actually in the WoW Cataclysm Classic, random normal RDF queues will also give bonus Justice Points too.

Why We Need To Farm The Justice Points?

Here's why farming Justice Points is crucial in WoW Cataclysm Classic:

1. Access To Pre-BiS Gear

Your Cataclysm pre-BiS list likely includes reputation and profession items, which can be challenging to farm during the first week because of time-consuming activities like the Archaeology and leveling.

Justice Points offer a solution, allowing you to instantly purchase 1 to 3 items upon reaching Level 85. Unlike items on the pre-BiS list that often require WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold, the Justice Points are freely available at launch.

2. Entry Requirement For Heroic Dungeons

To queue for Heroic dungeons via RDF, you need an average item level of 333. While you could enter with lower-level gear, it's advisable to aim for this item level to avoid potential wipes. Even if some pre-BiS gear comes from Blackrock Caverns, obtaining a 346 item level piece with Justice Points can significantly improve your chances of success in dungeons.

3. Limited Availability At Launch

The questing doesn't grant Justice Points. Consequently, players who rely on questing may find themselves behind in gear upon reaching Level 85 compared to those who acquire justice point pieces early on. By farming Justice Points across all your alts, you can mitigate this gear discrepancy and ensure a smoother transition into endgame content.

Tips On Farming Justice Points

The optimal farming strategy is to take advantage of the daily and weekly quests on all your alts simultaneously. In the pre-patch, you can generate Justice Points by queuing for the RDF Heroic for 23 points a day.

These can be combined with the daily quest from Archmage Landlock, which we talked about earlier. He offers a daily Heroic quest for 23 points and a daily gamma for 34 points. That means for just 20 minutes or so of your time, you could be getting 80 points on every single alt.

Then, on top of the daily Heroic, you should definitely prioritize the weekly raid quest. That quest gives 138 Justice Points, and it only takes about 20 minutes, unless you get some kind of nightmare group. Usually, people prefer to do these in 10-man groups formed around peak raid times.

The other key to optimally gaining Justice Points is to run raids like the Icecrown Citadel. There are groups forming all the time and you gain a massive 288 Justice Points from a run. That's insanely efficient considering a run might only take about 2 to 3 hours.

Another increasingly popular way to get Justice Points is achievement runs. That's where you go back to the old raids and try to get 1 mount from the achievements. Other than simply having the achievement mount as a flex, players want the 310-speed mount before the WoW Cataclysm.

Hi fellow players! Get ready to grasp the Arms Warrior in WoW Cataclysm Classic with this amazing guide. Let's explore how to utilize heirlooms, enchants, talents to quick level up and fight. In fact, it will even work in the pre-patch and get you to the max level as quickly as possible.

Heirlooms

For the heirlooms items, we aim for a full Valor set with superior stats on the chest piece, include the Hand of Justice trinkets, and acquire both the two-handed Bloodied Arcanite Reaper and the one-handed Venerable Mass of McGowan.

You'll level up to 40 with a two-hander weapon, then transition to a one-hander and shield upon unlocking Revenge. Additionally, having two-handed gear sets you up well for potential dungeon DPS grinding later on.

Enchants

From Level 1 to 20, it's advisable to prioritize acquiring the Fiery Weapon enchantment to enhance your weapon's damage output. This enchantment provides a Fiery effect that can help you dispatch foes more efficiently during the early stages of your journey.

However, as you progress beyond Level 20 and delve deeper into your adventures, transitioning to the Crusader enchantment becomes more beneficial. The Crusader enchantment imbues your weapon with a powerful blessing, granting you increased strength and the chance to heal yourself with each successful strike.

Talents

Onto the talent trees, you have the opportunity to do a lot of damage, not only to one target but to many targets at the same time with Whirlwind, Bladestorm, Sweeping Strikes, and the Cleave. And because you also have the Victory Rush, whenever you kill a target, you can heal yourself instantly for 20% health.

Leveling Strategies

If you're going to be soloing dungeons of a higher level, particularly 80 to 85, then some tanking gear will make your life much easier. So prepare enough WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold is a good idea.

Arms Warriors also have the option to solo dungeons fairly easily when you've got good enough gear. Just pick whatever dungeons have the best gear upgrades for you and it's also worth doing every single dungeon once, for all the quests.

From Level 60 to 85, smash Blood Furnace, Botanica and then the Halls of Lightning. These dungeons will get a little harder so I'd recommend getting the PvP gear at Level 60, 70, and 80, but you'll actually get decent XP by doing it yourself. The Wintergrass Commodations can be redeemed for a lot of honor to get your alt geared up.

If you're doing pre-quest thing, the best ones to get are definitely the dungeon quests, even the daily Heroic ones, but the weekly raid quest won't grant any XP. But if you've already done those quests, then what you want to do is just stack a load of dailies from Northrend from the Sons of Hodir, Orgrim's Hammer, and the Argent Tournament.

Combat Strategies

Until you get the Revenge at Level 40, what you're going to do is, you're going to pull a few mobs, put the Revenge up, spread it with Thunder Clap, and then burn your Revenge with Cleave. Be sure to get the Glyph of Cleaving at Level 25 as soon as possible. At Level 36, you can also go into Berserker Stance and start using Whirlwind, but after reaching Level 40, it's just better to go a full Tank mode.

Then, get Revenge up and spread it with Thunder Clap again. Use Shockwave on cooldown and Revenge when it procs. Cleave to burn rage, filling with Devastate, then Shield Slam obviously when it procs. When using Sword and Board, the Shield Slam deals 100% more damage to Shield Block up. And with the Impending Victory talent, you get extra Victory Rushes which should be used to maintain your health.

If you're doing dungeons with Arms Warrior, remember to pull Revenge fully before popping Sweeping Strikes. Immediately use Whirlwind and Cleave together, then the Bladestorm. Sweeping Strikes causes these special attacks to do an additional attack on nearby enemies. Remember also that jumping massively increases the range, particularly on Cleave.

As the WoW Cataclysm Classic pre-patch is set to launch on April 30th, I've put together a brief guide on swiftly acquiring gear for returning players on freshly boosted characters or those starting anew. It's surprisingly simple to reach an average item level of 260, more than sufficient to expedite your leveling journey when WoW Cataclysm launches.

Prepare Honor Points

Before the pre-patches launch, it's important to prepare the currency that you need to get this gear, and that's honor points. Make sure you cap on honor points before the pre-patch launches. In the WoW Cataclysm, the currency is totally revamped. The cap on honor is now 4K.

Which is why the best strategy right now is to prepare the Stone Keeper's Shards to turn them into Wintergrasp Marks of Honor. Wintergrasp Marks of Honor can be used after the pre-patch to grant you a lot more honor. Remember, these are actually account-wide, so if you have Stone Keeper's Shards lying around on your alt, get a load of these marks and get them hoarded up.

We're going to be purchasing the Wrathful PvP gear with Wintergrasp Marks of Honor. Although PvP gear isn't ideal for PvE, it's the biggest power creep you can achieve from this little time and this can leapfrog you into Gamma Dungeons and raids.

Although it's not confirmed yet that this gear will be purchasable with honor, it's how it did work at the end of WoW Classic and how it did in the WoW Cataclysm Classic. If for whatever reason it doesn't work, you can still get the Relentless gear. There might be an arena rating restriction on the weapon, but there's a simple solution to that. Dungeon Raids

So, now you're decked out in PvP gear, then you're going to obtain is the weapon. The item level of the gear is so bad on the boosted gear that you may actually struggle to get yourself into Gamma Dungeons as it does now have an item level requirement.

So, you want to queue yourself into Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and Halls of Reflection to get yourself a weapon. These reward 232 gear. If you don't get anything from those dungeons, queue Trial of the Crusader.

We will just be able to purchase the Wrathful weapons with honor and therefore the best thing to do is just mindlessly grind Battlegrounds and Wintergrasp, making sure to do all of the quests in Wintergrasp. These reward honors but also reward you Wintergrasp Marks of Honor, which can be turned into commendations, which obviously can also be turned into even more honor.

For returning players, you can queue Gamma Dungeons now in the Dungeon Finder, which are more difficult versions of the original Heroic dungeons. However, we want to farm the Scourgestones, particularly for the trinkets, because that will be the best trinket that you can get.

A currency vendor for these is where all the others are in Dalaran. You'll be able to get excellent weapons and trinket upgrades, and the trinkets will be even better than the PvP ones. You can also downgrade the Scourgestones into Celestial Essences if there's something better on that vendor.

Final Thought

You can do raids to get Heroic gear, but your time would be better making WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold and leveling up your professions. Particularly for a returning player, professions provide a big DPS boost, and you can easily do gold flips on the Auction House in order to afford all of your weekly raid consumes.

Feel free to do some raids. You don't need to deck a character out in full 25-man Heroic gear unless you're going to be doing the World First race to Level 85. Bear in mind that by the time you hit Uldum and the Stonecore, the quests will start rewarding item Level 312 gear.

Unlocking reputation and rewards in WoW Cataclysm Classic may appear simple at first, but there's actually a lot to consider. To maximize efficiency, it’s essential for players to understand the most effective methods for gaining reputation. In this guide, we'll explore the pros and cons of questing and dungeon grinding, and discuss which reputations you should prioritize based on your character.

Complete Quests

Completing quests is the primary method for increasing reputation among certain factions. However, it's not essential to finish every quest in every zone. At Level 85, running Heroics can also greatly enhance your reputation. In zones with low reputation gains, prioritize by wearing the faction's tabard. Now, let's delve into these factions to ascertain the optimal approach.

Guardians Of Hyjal

Associated with Hyjal questing, this zone will be amazing for reputation gain per hour. Going through the entire zone should not take you more than 2 hours if you’re going at an efficient rate, bringing you all the way into Revered with the faction. This means you’ll be able to pick up 333 and 346 item level gear right at Level 85, while also having access to Intellect and great Head Enchants at the gate.

Earthen Ring

This is one of those reputations that I would not actively pursue through questing, as it grants a pitiful amount of reputation and is a terrible questing experience. You get enough reputation to be close enough to Honored through Deepholm, so I recommend focusing on this reputation through the tabard once you get to Friendly.

Ramkahen

Questing in Uldum provides several thousand reputation points towards Honored status, which is decent but not exceptional. While it's efficient for leveling and gaining reputation simultaneously, it's not advisable to return solely for reputation grinding at Level 85. Uldum offers two daily quests for reputation, but it's not worth visiting just for the reputation gain.

Dragonmaw Clan (Horde) / Wildhammer Clan (Alliance)

In Twilight Highlands, you’ll have just over 20 quests, which will bring you into honored reputation and unlock 5 daily quests after getting to honored. You can focus on getting this reputation through the tabard, but if you no longer need Heroic gear and you’re done with your Valor Point cap for the week, then knocking out 1,350 reputation through 5 quick dailies is not a bad idea.

Tabards

When it comes to the tabards, you can pick up the Guardians of Hyjal, Dragonmaw Clan, Ramkahen, and the Earthen Ring. You don’t need to do any questing in Vashj'ir to unlock it. Equipping a tabard will make you gain reputation towards that specific faction through running Heroic dungeons, but you’ll also gain reputation at a reduced rate from the normal versions of Lost City of the Tol’vir, Grim Batol, and Halls of Origination.

Run Heroic Dungeon

Each run of a Heroic dungeon will grant you around 1.5 to 2.5k reputation per run depending on the instance and how heavily you focus on Trash. However, getting as many boss kills per hour as possible will yield you the most amount of gear and Justice Points while still granting solid reputation. In addition, it is also a good idea to carry some WOW Cataclysm Classic Gold with you.

Tol Barad

Tol Barad is the only zone that you cannot gain reputation from through a tabard. You’ll have to head to the island of Tol Barad, do dailies, and PvP battles to earn reputation and commendations to purchase gear and mounts. Every serious raider should aim to have this reputation at Exalted before the release of the first raid tier.

Therazane Faction

For the Therazane faction, you’ll have to finish up pretty much every single quest in Deepholm before you get access to the faction. Doing the quest will put you a decent chunk into Honored, which will allow you to pick up the lesser version of the Shoulder Enchant.

Going to Revered will give you a 346 item level ring, and going to be at Exalted will grant you the greater version of the Shoulder Enchant. This is the reputation that everyone should work towards completing before the release of the raid tier.

Conclusion

All in all, you can gain reputation by equipping a tabard while running Heroic dungeons. There will also be several dailies you can do to gain reputation, but just like with the Dragonmaw Clan, only do them if you no longer need Heroic gear and you’re already done with your Valor Point cap.

Like many other classes, Druids have specializations to choose from when leveling up. This time, I'll be discussing 2 most recommended specializations which are the Feral Druid and Balance Druid in the WoW Cataclysm Classic. I will cover topics such as talent trees for the 2 different specializations, new spells and other important information.

Feral & Balance Druid Talents

In WoW Cataclysm Classic, you’ll unlock your Cat Form at Level 8, so investing the first 2 talent points into Feral Swiftness allows for quicker travel. With the Dual Talent Specialization, you can switch between Feral Tank Druid for dungeons and Feral DPS Druid for Open World questing. At low levels, prioritize getting Glyph of Maul to hit an additional target with your Mangle ability, allowing for effective tanking.

Feral Druid

Starting with the Feral DPS. At Level 8, you will unlock the Cat Form, and by then, you will slowly get more and more abilities that allow you to kill targets super quickly. You’ll have different bleeds, single-target abilities, and eventually also Swipe, so you can cleave many targets at the same time. At you get yourself the Berserk, a cooldown you can activate to reduce the energy cost of all your abilities by 50%.

The Feral Tanks can also level up quite quickly. When you have Glyph of Maul, you can now hit 2 targets, and then you just use your Mangle in between. But just wait until you activate your Berserk in Bear Form. Now your Mangle ability will hit additional enemies, so you will start cleaving.

Balance Druid

Another option is to level as a Balance Druid, though it may feel slower initially because of single-target damage, but it becomes more viable as you unlock more abilities. Alternatively, you can level as Restoration Druid, which is excellent for dungeon farming but not ideal for Open World questing because of slower killing speed.

However, with the Dual Talent Specialization, which cost 10 WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold, you can level as Restoration in dungeons and switch to Balance for questing. Once you get to a round Level 70 or above, you’ll start doing some decent damage. You can also unlock more spells that making the specialization even more fun.

If you are going to level up a low-level Balance Druid yourself, you can head into dungeons immediately and use the Hurricane to find a spell cleave group. But at a higher level, you’ll start doing insane damage. The crits can go all the way up to 14K, but this Druid doesn’t have insane gear.

New & Update Spells

At Level 85, you can unlock Wild Mushroom and detonate them to deal AOE damage. This is useful if there's a nearby stealer you'd like to reveal from stealth, or even an NPC. I also use them if I have to immediately kill a lower-level target or boost someone in a dungeon. They can do quite decent damage.

Thorns are also being buffed, allowing you to do a lot more damage. However, it will now only last for 20 seconds with a 45-second cooldown. So, when someone is about to nuke you or if you pull many targets, you could also activate this, even on your tank, to generate more threat.

The updated Tranquility is also interested by many players. Instead of just healing 5 party or raid members, it will now also place a heal over time that will stack up to 3 times, making the healing a lot better even if you're not playing a Healer.

The Faerie Fire is going to be updated. Faerie Fire (Feral) will also do a lot more damage and it can stack up to 3 times, reducing armor by 4% all the way up to 12%, lasting for 5 minutes, which also has a chance to crit. The good thing is that when you're low on rage, you could use this as a filler simply to build up more threat.

Consumables

There are also different consumables you should get.

• Feral Tank Druid: You can get Flask of Steelskin to increase your stamina, and also the Earthen Potion to increase your armor. It has a 1-minute cooldown and you can use it during a fight.
• Feral DPS Druid: To build up more threat and increase your avoidance, you can be using Flask of the Winds together with Potion of the Tol'vir that will increase your Agility for 25 seconds.
• Balance Druid: Use Flask of the Draconic Mind to increase your Intellect, and the Volcanic Potion to increase the Intellect by for 25 seconds. But if you're low on mana as a Healer, you could also be using a mana potion.

Today, we will take an analysis of several key information to help you grasp the upgrade process before the WoW Cataclysm Classic releases on May 20. Compared to previous expansions like the Wrath of the Lich King and the Burning Crusade, the upcoming new expansion of WoW Cataclysm Classic takes less time to level up.

1. Pick A Leveling Path

You have the option to team up with friends or play solo. Grouping provides additional experience and rewards, while solo play still allows for efficient leveling by following optimized routes. Complete quests and dungeons quickly to advance as fast as you can. Enjoy the new expansion at your preferred pace.

2. Choose The First Zone

To start the game, you need to pick your first zone. There are 2 zones that you can to pick from, with the Mount Hyjal and Vashj'ir. Mount Hyjal has been teased for quite some time throughout the early stages of WoW Classic, and before we got the zone, we got the raid in the Burning Crusade.

The Mount Hyjal will probably be the fastest route to be at Level 85, but for the Vashj'ir, the underwater zone, is one of the most beautiful locations in WoW Classic, and all the quests are extremely fun. Choose one and explore. Additionally, prepare for sufficient amount of WoW Cataclysm Classic Gold in advance is also a good idea!

3. Experience The Dungeons

The quest lines in the dungeons are very lucrative in terms of experience and gear. I highly recommend playing the dungeons while leveling to learn the mechanics, encounter the bosses, and practice your rotations. Besides that, they offer a fresh and enjoyable experience, so why not give them a try?

4. Avoid Dungeon Farming

The next tips I want to tell you is, don't farm in dungeons. Questing experience has been exponentially better than just farming dungeons on the beta thus far. I'm sure many players don't enjoy farming through dungeons over and over again, especially when there are only 2 dungeons before you reach Level 83. Even then, there are only 2 unlocked until you reach Level 85.

5. Keep The Pre-Quests

Keep all of your pre-quests until you are close to Level 82. Whichever zone you pick to level in first, you should be leaving that zone with about 500,000 XP left to Level 82 and turning in your pre-quests. Now you could do this before you even start to level and get 500,000 XP into Level 81, but I don't recommend this path.

6. Open New Zones

New zones are now gated by level in the new expansion of WoW Cataclysm Classic. Whereas in previous expansions, you could go to any zone you wanted, easily kill mobs and then level up. You won't be able to get into certain zones or quest in zones until you hit a specific level.

Each zone has a small cut scene before you can enter it and start questing, except for Twilight Highlands, which has a long quest chain in Orgrimmar or Stormwind before sending you into Twilight Highlands. Deepholm is not accessible until Level 82, Uldum at Level 83, and Twilight Highlands at Level 84. Try to complete each zone you're in before moving to the next.

7. Gain Reputation

Reputation is very important in the early stages of WoW Cataclysm Classic, and you'll want to get as much as you can while questing so you don't have to spam dungeons just for reputation or do all these quests at Level 85. Here is the experience breakdown by level:

• Level 80-81: 1.7 million XP
• Level 81-82: 2.1 million XP
• Level 82-83: 4 million XP
• Level 83-84: 5.2 million XP
• Level 84-85: 9.1 million XP

The experience per level goes up exponentially. My recommendation for leveling is the following: Level in Mount Hyjal or Vashj'ir until you hit Level 82, move into Deepholm and unlock the Therazane reputation vendors. From there, quest in Uldum until you do most of the zone or complete it, and then start the Twilight Highlands and go until you're 85.

8. Change The Gear

Be prepared to throw away your gear for the previous expansions. Most of your gear will be replaced by Level 85. None of them compare to the simply insanely powerful pieces you'll get at max level. While it's going to be sad to lose that Shadowmourne or Val'anyr, just know that those weapons will always have a place in your bag.
