Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 14 Best Starter Build | Summon Tainted Blood Boil Warlock even Nerfed but still S-Tier?
Greetings, Diablo 4 fans! We are just days away from the launch of the brand-new Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Season 14, arriving on May 22nd! Thanks to Patch 3.2, released just a few days ago, we now know that this seasonal update brings with it more refined class balancing and even more brutal endgame challenges. Of particular interest are the series of highly forward-thinking adjustments and bug fixes implemented for Warlock class.
Following this comprehensive rework, Warlock is poised to maintain the same level of dominance in Season 14 that it enjoyed in the previous season. Among the many Warlock builds available, Summon Tainted Blood Boil hybrid build stands head and shoulders above the rest, having already demonstrated its earth-shattering power during the recent Patch 3.2 PTR. Although the official release of Season 14 will inevitably bring some degree of balancing nerfs, this build will undoubtedly retain its throne as the premier S-Tier Warlock build of the season!
Next, we will provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of the gameplay mechanics behind this Summon Tainted Blood Boil Warlock build, helping you kick off Ladder Season 14 with a mindless farming setup that lets you speed-run content with ease!

Warlock Class Rework
Before we dive in, let's take a quick look at the adjustments made to Warlock class in D2R Season 14 and how they impact Summon Tainted Blood Boil build.
Although Warlock was only recently introduced to the game in Season 13, via Reign of the Warlock expansion, it did not initially possess the overwhelming, tier-breaking advantage that other launch classes often enjoy right out of the gate. On the contrary, the class and its builds faced significant skepticism throughout Season 13 because of underlying mechanical issues; however, the arrival of Season 14 has completely turned the tide.
Synergy between Blood Boil and Summon Tainted
First and foremost, the synergistic damage intended between Blood Boil and Summon Tainted skills simply wasn't functioning correctly in Season 13. Fortunately, the 3.2 PTR addressed this issue, granting a massive bonus of up to 30% increased Fire Damage per skill level. This means that in its fully optimized endgame state, a single Tainted Demon minion can now dish out approximately 45,000 DPS, a truly game-breaking level of power!
Evidently, the developers didn't want a single build to be quite so dominant; consequently, in the official release of Season 14, they reduced its synergy bonus to 20%. Although the damage output is slightly lower compared to PTR, it remains an exceptionally powerful and viable build!
Gear & Skill Affix Bugs
Additionally, in the past, affixes such as +3 to Fire Skills, provided by items like Magefist or the Flickering Flame Runeword, did not correctly apply to Summon Tainted skill. However, this bug was completely resolved in Season 14, allowing the bonuses from fire-based gear to stack perfectly on your summoned minions, resulting in a massive leap in performance.
Attack Speed Display Issues
Finally, they also fixed a visual bug where attack speed bonuses, derived from Demonic Mastery and other sources, were not correctly displayed in Summon Tainted skill tooltip. You can now fully manage your Warlock build with complete confidence and clarity.
Skill Tree
Now, let's take a look at the skill tree setup for Summon Tainted/Blood Boil hybrid build. The core logic behind this build is as follows: rely primarily on the massive fire damage output from Summon Tainted, utilize the physical damage from Blood Boil as a secondary source to clear fire-immune monsters, and leverage curses to provide crowd control and target positioning.
Chaos Skills
- Sigil Death / Death Mark: 1 point. Not only does this trigger additional corpse explosions to accelerate clearing speed, but more importantly, it allows you to position and gather your Demon Tainted minions, directing their attacks precisely where you need them.
- Sigil: Lethargy: 1 point. Used to handle high-damage bosses or dangerous elite packs, providing extremely potent crowd control through significant movement speed reduction.
Eldritch Skills
No points required here. This section contains no skills that offer any substantial benefit to this specific build, so you can skip it entirely.
Demon Skills
- Golem: 1 point (prerequisite skill).
- Summon Tainted: 20 points. Your core primary damage-dealing skill; summons fire-breathing demonic turrets.
- Blood Boil: 20 points. The core synergy skill for Summon Tainted, and also your primary source of physical damage when facing fire-immune monsters.
- Demonic Mastery: 20 points. Provides absolutely critical bonuses to damage, attack speed, and burst potential for your Demon Tainted minions.
- Blood Oath: 20 points. Prioritize this over Engorge (listed below) to maximize the damage output of Blood Boil.
- Engorge: Invest all remaining skill points here. Used to further round out skill synergies.
Stat Points
Regarding the stat allocation for Summon Tainted Blood Boil build, there is only one aspect we need to focus on: Vitality. With the exception of the minimum Strength required to equip all end-game gear, invest every remaining stat point into Vitality.
Thanks to a robust base Life pool, this build can easily reach over 2000 Life even without any active buffs. As this is a summoner-style build, your character, the caster, remains safely positioned behind your Demon Tainted minions while dealing damage; consequently, there is no need to obsess over achieving absolute perfection in Resistances and Defense, resulting in an exceptionally high safety margin.
Endgame Gear Setup
This build is hyper-focused on maximizing Fire and Demon skills, achieving high Cast Speed, and minimizing enemy Fire Resistance as much as possible. Therefore, when selecting gear, we prioritize the following items for your consideration:
- Weapon: Mang Song's Lesson
- Jewel: Defender's Fire
- Helmet: Flickering Flame Runeword
- Amulet: Mara's Kaleidoscope
- Gauntlets: Magefist
- Belt: Arachnid Mesh
- Ring 1: Stone of Jordan
- Ring 2: Opalvein
- Boots: Wraithstep
Mercenaries
Regarding Mercenaries, to push your damage output to the absolute limit, we highly recommend recruiting an Act II Desert Mercenary equipped with Holy Freeze crowd-control Aura. Not only does this provide a wide-area slow effect (CC), but the mercenary's core gear setup also serves as the foundation for dealing truly astronomical damage.
Notably, we utilize Infinity Runeword on the mercenary's weapon. Veteran players will undoubtedly be familiar with this item; while it is extremely expensive, its inherent Conviction Aura, when combined with other specific Runewords, can effectively reduce enemy Fire Resistance into negative territory.
How to farm with ease?
Honestly, this build offers an incredibly smooth gameplay experience, even within Terror Zones. This is particularly evident when encountering large packs of monsters: you can instantly use Death Mark to tag key targets, prompting your Demon Tainted minions to focus their fire on them immediately.
From there, simply maintain a safe distance while casting Sigil of Death to trigger chain reactions of Corpse Explosion, all while relentlessly bombarding the mob with Blood Boil. Even if you encounter monsters with exceptionally high Fire Resistance, Physical damage component of Blood Boil, combined with the focused assault from your Summon Tainted minions, will instantly vaporize them.
In summary, Summon Tainted Blood Boil hybrid build perfectly encapsulates the true essence and allure of Warlock class as a master summoner of the infernal realms. Not only does it boast top-tier damage output, but it also offers an exceptionally high margin for operational error. If you are looking for a premier starter build for Diablo 2: Resurrected Season 14, one that allows for mindless, effortless farming while easily handling any immune monsters, then this build is absolutely the perfect choice for you.

Forza Horizon 6 Early Access Unlocks Japanese Racing Roads | Edition and system requirements might keep you out
Have you heard the roar of engines echoing through the streets of Tokyo? That's right - the early access period for Forza Horizon 6 has begun! You can start from nothing and rise through the street racing ranks, much like Sean did in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
Can't wait any longer? You're probably wondering how to jump right into your Japanese racing adventure. Let's break down what you need to do.

Forza Horizon 6 Early Access Date
Forza Horizon 6 unlocks on Xbox and PC on May 19, but players with early access get to enter the game four days ahead of schedule. On Xbox consoles and PC Xbox App, this early entry typically begins at 12:01 AM local time on May 15. A few regions get it slightly earlier.
- United States: May 14 at 9:01 PM (Pacific Time) / 11:01 PM (Central Time)
- Other Regions: Most unlock at 12:01 AM local time on May 15.
For players on Steam, the early access launch follows a unified schedule:
- PDT: Thursday, May 14, 9:01 PM
- CDT/CST: Thursday, May 14, 11:01 PM
- EDT: Friday, May 15, 12:01 AM
- BST: Friday, May 15, 5:01 AM
- CEST: Friday, May 15, 6:01 AM
- CST: Friday, May 15, 12:01 PM
- JST: Friday, May 15, 1:01 PM
- KST: Friday, May 15, 1:01 PM
- AEST: Friday, May 15, 2:01 PM
- NZST: Friday, May 15, 4:01 PM
Early access is now fully underway, so you can log in right now and tear through Japan's cities and countryside. However, some players who pre-ordered the game may still find themselves locked out, likely because their version doesn't grant early access eligibility.
How to Get Early Access?
Not everyone who pre-orders can enter early. Currently, the only way to get a four-day head start is with Premium Edition. Even Deluxe Edition won't get you past the gate.
If you're feeling impatient, you can either upgrade directly to Premium Edition or get Premium Upgrade to unlock early access. Beyond the new cars, upgrading to the higher tier also gives you a boost that helps you earn more Forza Horizon 6 Credits in the early stages of the game.
Here's what each version includes:
Standard Edition ($69.99)
- Full base game
- Pre-order bonus: Ferrari J50 (pre-tuned, exclusive)
- No early access
Deluxe Edition ($99.99)
- Full base game
- Pre-order bonus: Ferrari J50
- Welcome Pack (5 pre-tuned cars + 1 Car Voucher + 3 clothing tickets)
- Car Pass (30 cars, 1 per week)
- No early access
Premium Edition ($119.99)
- Full base game
- Pre-order bonus: Ferrari J50
- 4-day early access (play from May 15)
- Welcome Pack
- Car Pass (30 cars)
- VIP Membership (double credits, 3 Forza Edition cars, weekly Super Wheelspin, Tokyo City House, crown flair, emote, horn)
- Time Attack Car Pack (8 legendary cars)
- Italian Passion Car Pack (4 Italian cars)
- Two expansions (each with a new location, cars, and gameplay)
Premium Upgrade ($59.99)
- 4-day early access (play from May 15)
- Welcome Pack
- Car Pass (30 cars)
- VIP Membership (all benefits)
- Time Attack Car Pack (8 cars)
- Italian Passion Car Pack (4 cars)
- Two expansions
- Does not include the base game
System Requirements
You might jump at the chance to grab Premium Edition, only to find your hardware struggling to keep up - with the sound of your fans whining even louder than the car engines in the game. So before you commit, it's a wise move to check the official system requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: GTX 1650
- RAM: 16 GB
This setup delivers a smooth 60-frame experience at 1080p native resolution with low graphics settings. For reference, in Forza Horizon 5, GTX 1650 can average around 60–70 frames at high settings (1080p), and can even reach 90–100 frames on low settings. That means FH6's low settings may actually look better than the previous game's low settings, while demanding slightly more performance - dropping from 100 to 60 frames. For a sequel, that's a superb optimization job.
Recommended Requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (both 6-core, 12-thread)
- GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8GB VRAM) / Radeon RX 6700 XT (12GB VRAM) / Intel Arc A580 (8GB VRAM)
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage: SSD
This setup targets 1440p resolution, high graphics settings, and over 60 frames. In FH5, an 8GB graphics card running at 4K ultra settings may start swapping data to system memory after extended play due to VRAM constraints.
But the game's excellent memory management means you'll rarely face major stuttering - just minor performance hiccups. So RTX 3060 Ti and A580 should handle 1440p high settings without trouble, while RX 6700 XT's 12GB of VRAM gives you room for even sharper texture detail.
Extreme Requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
- GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 Ti (12GB VRAM) / Radeon RX 7900 XT (20GB VRAM)
- RAM: 24 GB
- Storage: NVMe SSD
This setup gets you 4K native resolution, ultra settings, and over 60 frames. And it's far from top-tier - compared to many newer games, FH6 is clearly more approachable in its optimization. 12GB of VRAM is plenty for 4K ultra settings, while the RX 7900 XT's 20GB of VRAM offers even more headroom.
If you're chasing maximum ray tracing, you'll want to step up to a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070 XT, and Memory should also be upgraded to 32GB.
In short, if your current machine runs Forza Horizon 5 without breaking a sweat, it'll handle FH6 just fine. So go ahead and secure that Premium Edition to get your early access underway.

GTA 6 Possible Pre-Order Release Date Leaked may also mean there will be no further delays | Why is it credible?
Perhaps due to two previous delays, players are eager to avoid any further disappointment; consequently, discussions regarding the release timing of the third GTA 6 trailer and the commencement of pre-orders have recently reached a fever pitch.
Fortunately, leaked information regarding the start date for pre-orders has surfaced, and it appears to be quite credible! Below, we will walk you through these details and analyze the potential trajectory of the game's rollout moving forward.

Possible pre-order release date
According to the leaked information, it is anticipated that Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-order could open on May 18, 2026, this coming Monday, and certainly no later than May 21.
This speculation stems from the fact that one of the prominent retail partners for physical copies of GTA series, recently launched a new promotional campaign with a specific timeframe spanning from May 18 to May 21, 2026.
Although the source of this campaign information is an email from this company's affiliate program, the news has since been corroborated by multiple professional media outlets and industry insiders.
Interestingly, the game's official news portal has not yet published any content or announcements regarding GTA 6 pre-orders. However, by next Monday at the very latest, they are bound to make a move!
What might the pre-order content include?
Once pre-orders go live, you will not only discover the game's specific pricing but will also likely see various editions of the game made available.
For GTA 6, we can expect, at a minimum, a Standard Edition and a Premium Edition; the latter, in addition to the base game, will probably include a host of exclusive in-game items and bonuses.
Naturally, it is also highly probable that a Collector's Edition will be released. Based on precedents set by previous titles in the series, GTA 6 Collector's Edition is expected to encompass all the content found in the other two editions, while also granting you certain exclusive privileges or perks.
Furthermore, coinciding with the launch of pre-orders, Grand Theft Auto 6 may also gradually unveil its official logo and cover art, details that are sure to generate plenty of excitement and anticipation among fans.
Reduced likelihood of further delays
While the accuracy of the specific pre-order date cannot be absolutely guaranteed, it certainly appears to be just around the corner.
Once pre-orders officially commence, the game's final release date, under normal circumstances, should be locked in and no longer subject to change.
So, if you previously harbored doubts about Grand Theft Auto 6 due to fears of yet another delay, you can now put those concerns to rest and immediately look to IGGM GTA 6 Store as your trusted choice!
Through our secure and rapid services, we ensure that once the game launches, you will be able to unlock more content and items faster than anyone else, guaranteeing you the ultimate GTA 6 experience.
Evidence from other channels
While the aforementioned leaks serve as key indicators, a host of new marketing initiatives across various other platforms provide powerful corroboration.
For instance, if you are a veteran player who still plays GTA 5 on a PS4, you likely received a recent notification from PlayStation urging you to upgrade your console to a PS5 in preparation for the launch of GTA 6 on November 19.
With six months still remaining until that date, PlayStation certainly wouldn't have sent out such an email out of the blue, unless, of course, there was imminent activity surrounding the game itself.
Another piece of evidence comes from one special magazine. Prior to the launch of GTA 5, this magazine exclusively revealed a wealth of related information; this past Thursday, they published an article regarding a leaked timeframe for GTA 6 pre-orders.
Although the article suggests that the May 18-21 window might merely be a promotional lead-up period established by that retail company for GTA 6 pre-orders, implying the actual start date could be later, truth be told, it can't be much longer now!
Further corroboration comes from an intriguing discovery made by players. While examining the GTM analytics scripts embedded in GTA 6 webpage, someone stumbled upon a hidden event labeled CTA pre-order.
CTA typically stands for Call to Action, an instruction designed to guide users toward taking a specific step. While this doesn't directly confirm that pre-orders are about to open, it certainly indicates that a pre-order system is actively being built.
The final piece of evidence originates from the developers of GTA 6 themselves. In their recent official posts, the color schemes predominantly feature the distinct thematic palette of GTA 6.
Furthermore, the developers have pinned the game's second official trailer to the top of their feeds across all their social media platforms.
Interestingly, the release date displayed at the very end of that trailer remains May 26, 2026, a pivotal date that is now less than two weeks away.
While we cannot guarantee that there will definitely be any developments regarding the game before May 26th, just imagine: if you were a new player, unfamiliar with GTA 6, who watched this trailer after the 26th only to discover that pre-orders hadn't even opened yet, you would undoubtedly feel deceived!
Finally, with pre-orders now underway, we believe the release of Trailer 3 is just around the corner. Let's look forward to even more surprises coming our way next week!

Monopoly Go May 13-15 Beanstalk Bonanza Banner Event Schedule and Rewards
Monopoly Go Wonderland Adventures introduces a fresh and engaging new mode: you and your friends need to collect Adventure Club Tokens to complete tasks. Among the best ways to gather these tokens is Beanstalk Bonanza banner event and its milestones.
Beanstalk Bonanza banner event lasts for two days, with Adventure Club tokens almost evenly distributed across the milestones. Let's see what smarter collection strategies are available.

Date
Beanstalk Bonanza banner event starts almost at the same time as the Wonderland Adventures event, though it lasts for a shorter period. Here are the exact date:
- Start: May 13, 17:00 UTC / May 13, 10:00 PT / May 13, 13:00 ET
- End: May 15, 17:00 UTC / May 15, 10:00 PT / May 15, 13:00 ET
Thus, even after Beanstalk Bonanza concludes, there is no rush to use all your tokens at once. You can save them for later or discuss with your teammates how best to use them.
How to Earn Points?
To complete all 62 milestones of Beanstalk Bonanza banner event, a total of 46,400 points is required. Given the scoring mechanism, this is not an easy target. You earn points by landing on three specific tile types:
- Chance: 1 point
- Community Chest: 1 point
- Railroad: 2 points
Even when you do land on a scoring tile, you might only get 1 point. Considering the total points needed for 62 milestones, skipping some milestone rewards may be a wiser choice.
If you choose to control the rolls manually, you can set a multiplier before a Railroad tile. This is not only because it yields 2 points, but also because this tile helps you earn points in the tournament as well. A successful landing on Railroad with an active multiplier saves dice in the long run.
Beanstalk Bonanza Banner Event Rewards
Throughout the milestones of Beanstalk Bonanza banner event, only 136 Adventure Club Tokens are available. The tricky part is that to collect all of them, you need to complete 61 milestones. If you only finish half, say 30 milestones, you will get just 65 tokens.
If your main goal is Monopoly Go stickers, it is recommended to aim for the 27th milestone. In addition to sticker packs, you will also receive 58 tokens. For those with a strong dice reserve, attempting the 48th milestone could be worthwhile, granting roughly 95 tokens and 8,705 dice.
Below is an overview of the main rewards from Beanstalk Bonanza banner event:
- 18,205 Dice
- 136 Adventure Club Tokens
- 2 Green Sticker Packs
- 1 Yellow Sticker Pack
- 1 Pink Sticker Pack
- Random Boost at Milestone 4
- Builder's Bash at Milestone 18

Below, we'll walk you through the specific details of this evolving objective and explain exactly how to complete it.

What rewards can you earn?
As an evolving objective, Racing Towards Victory distributes rewards in stages; however, only Stage 3 includes player packs.
It is worth noting that the rewards for Stages 1 and 2 include items that are essential for unlocking the subsequent stages. Therefore, you cannot simply skip these earlier stages to jump directly to complete Stage 3.
Here is a breakdown of the rewards available for each stage of Racing Towards Victory:
- Stage 1: 500 SP and Racing Towards Victory Kit 2
- Stage 2: 500 SP and Racing Towards Victory Kit 3
- Stage 3: 1,000 SP and 3x 87+ Rare Gold Players Packs
Upon completing the entire Racing Towards Victory objective, you will have accumulated a grand total of 2,000 SP! This will help you rapidly advance your Season Pass progress and unlock the corresponding rewards!
How to complete Racing Towards Victory?
Each stage of Racing Towards Victory comprises three specific objectives. Completing each individual objective earns you 100 SP, while completing all objectives within a given stage is required to claim the full set of stage rewards.
Stage 1
The prerequisite for completing this stage is equipping Racing Towards Victory Kit 1. Currently, the only confirmed method for obtaining this kit is by redeeming it in Ultimate Team Store: it needs either 40,000 coins or 250 points.
Both of these currencies must be earned through active participation in daily gameplay. Additionally, points are seasonal and will reset once the current season concludes.
Given that Season 7 has only recently begun, and considering the relatively high coin requirement to unlock Kit 1, we highly recommend getting FC 26 coins for sale on IGGM directly to fulfill this requirement faster!
Once you have acquired the kit, simply equip it and complete the following three objectives to clear Stage 1:
- Play 3: Complete three matches in any Ultimate Team game mode.
- Score 3: Score three goals in any Ultimate Team game mode.
- Win 3: Secure three victories in any Ultimate Team game mode.
Highly skilled players can complete Stage 1 in as few as three matches; otherwise, the number of matches required is theoretically limitless (since you could potentially keep losing or failing to score)!
Stage 2
Upon completing Stage 1, you will receive Racing Towards Victory Kit 2 as one of your rewards. Equip this kit, then complete the exact same three objectives as in Stage 1 to claim your rewards.
Stage 3
The three objectives in this final stage are completed in the same manner as in the previous two; the only difference is that you must equip Racing Towards Victory Kit 3, which you obtained during Stage 2.
Once completed, you will receive SP rewards for this stage, as well as a pack containing 3x 87+ Rare Gold Player Items. If luck is on your side, you might even pull a currently active promo card from this pack.
How to play Ultimate Team?
Currently, Ultimate Team features a variety of specific game modes. We recommend choosing the mode you excel at most to complete these objectives quickly and avoid wasting time.
Champions
This is currently the premier competitive mode in FIFA 26, ensuring that, in addition to your objective rewards, you can earn extra TOTS players.
Rivals
This mode is based on an online ranking system; you must participate in it and climb the ranks to qualify for Champions. It is worth noting that FUT 26 has introduced optimizations to this mode.
Squad Battles
As an offline, single-player mode, Squad Battles simply requires you to play matches against AI-controlled squads, yet the rewards are by no means inferior!
Live Events
Introduced as a brand-new dynamic mode in the 2026 season, Live Events offer a wide array of customized squad requirements and match rules, providing a high degree of flexibility and entertainment value.
Gauntlets
Each round of a Gauntlet consists of five fast-paced matches; you are required to rotate your squad lineup before the start of every match.
Tournaments
FC 26 has introduced a knockout-style format for this mode. Under unique squad restrictions, you will play through a maximum of four rounds, with rewards distributed based on your final results.
Challengers
A mode better suited for beginners or casual players, though the quality of the rewards obtained is slightly more modest.
That covers everything you need to know to complete Racing Towards Victory 1-3 objectives. This evolving objective series concludes on the Thursday three weeks from now, be sure to complete it before time runs out!

MLB The Show 26 Update 9: PCI Anchor Misalignment Fixed for Precision Hitting
MLB The Show 26 has been out for two months, and the development team shows no signs of slowing down, continuously releasing updates. They just released Update 9, which officially launched on May 14th at 4 AM Pacific Time, available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. This is a perfect opportunity to review how far MLB 26 has come since its release.
From refining the gameplay and enhancing Diamond Dynasty, to the deep overhaul of the trading logic in Franchise mode, MLB 26 has delivered satisfying results on multiple levels this year, continuously evolving through frequent patches.
This update focuses on fixing those frustrating bugs in various modes and also addresses other issues in the game.
Addressing Pain Points
PCI Anchor
The most welcome update in Update 9 is undoubtedly the fix to the long-standing PCI Anchor display problem.
For weeks, players have repeatedly pointed out misalignments in PCI Anchor and strike zone anchor positions, causing significant instability in accurate hit detection and home plate coverage.
This update finally addresses this issue effectively and should bring back the signature crisp and clean hitting experience of MLB The Show series.

Diamond Dynasty
In addition to fixing PCI Anchor problem, update 9 also brings numerous adjustments to the core game modes.
In Diamond Dynasty mode, this update allows real-time content tiles to be manipulated directly from the home tab and fixes an issue where XP wheel wouldn't display non-silver card rewards correctly.
The particularly annoying bug that could previously result in empty cards as rewards in Mini Seasons has finally been resolved in this update. Update 9 also fixes the incorrect team logo issue in Mini Seasons and resolves the display issue of letters with accents on uniforms.
These seemingly minor tweaks demonstrate that the development team is truly listening to player feedback.
Franchise
Regarding Franchise mode, the changes are more structural.
The bug that prevented arbitration offers or contract renewals when a team's roster reached the 93-player limit has been fixed. Trade counter-proposals involving budgets have also been optimized.
Furthermore, the update adds restrictions to prevent trades from exceeding the roster limit for pitchers or positional players.
The development team stated that future Live Roster updates will specifically address the realism, long-term playability, and stability of Franchise mode, with more significant rating updates expected at key points such as All-Star break, Trade Deadline, and the end of the regular season.

This update also includes a long list of updated player models:

Game Evolution Retrospective
Diamond Dynasty
Diamond Dynasty remains the soul of MLB 26, and this year the mode has received one of its most significant upgrades to date.
World Baseball Classic has been fully integrated into Diamond Dynasty, including WBC-exclusive stadiums such as Tokyo Dome and Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Players can challenge top teams from around the world with their custom lineups and earn WBC-themed cards.
The revamped Parallel XP is also a highlight this year, offering unprecedented freedom in player development. It also introduces Red Diamond rarity level, containing top-tier player cards that surpass traditional diamond levels, enough to change the course of a game.
The competitive side of Diamond Dynasty has also been simplified. The development team focuses the spotlight entirely on the Legend bracket. This means fewer divisions but a higher concentration of players, creating a more competitive environment.
Simultaneously, the prize pool has been increased across the board to match the higher level of competition. Legend bracket champion now receives 5,000 MLB 26 stubs plus an exclusive card pack. Celebration Series also returns with a more packed schedule and richer rewards.
Franchise
Franchise mode has arguably undergone the most dramatic changes in MLB 26. The all-new Trade Hub has become a one-stop platform for all lineup management activities, equipped with a completely rebuilt trading logic system. For the first time, you can complete a 4-for-4 trade. This adds a new dimension of complexity to lineup building.
Furthermore, speed players will no longer be automatically placed in the first batting lineup, as the system now optimizes your batting lineup by taking into account the second position and various dynamic factors.
Player degradation and progression mechanics have also been refined to simulate real-world team decision-making logic, making long-term roster planning more realistic and believable than ever before.
Whether you want to meticulously manage every playoff decision and trade negotiation, or prefer a streamlined approach to quickly progress through multiple seasons, Franchise Mode can adapt to your playstyle.
Combined with this Update 9, these changes are sure to bring players the long-awaited depth and realism.
The various bug fixes in Update 9, especially the improvements to PCI Anchor and Franchise trading logic, demonstrate the development team's dedication to refining the player experience. Go live and experience it now!
