Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred The Ultimate Limitless Rage Barbarian Build Guide | Max Damage and Immortality
Players, are you also exploring powerful builds in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred? Then this guide will take you through the core mechanics, equipment setup, and gameplay of Limitless Rage Barbarian build, letting you experience its high damage!
Core Mechanics
Limitless Rage
Limitless Rage is the core of this build's explosive damage. This aspect has officially returned to the seasonal server, and although there have been adjustments, its damage is still explosive when fully stacked.
With a maximum of 300 stacks, at full fury, each additional point of fury generated increases damage by 3%, and the bonus lasts for 4 seconds. You can easily reach 300 stacks through high resource generation, fury regeneration, and a high stack cap.

Melted Heart of Selig
Melted Heart of Selig is essentially the cornerstone of Limitless Rage Barbarian build's survival. Its damage reduction principle prioritizes resource consumption over health when taking damage, and the damage is significantly reduced during the conversion process.
This build requires extremely low health, as the lower the health, the greater the damage reduction provided by this unique amulet.
You can also choose to socket Rubies, or other gems to stack multiple independent damage amplifications.
Fury and Overpower
By synergizing Blood Boiling with Dominate Glyph, you gain one stack of Overpower every 6 seconds, ensuring you maintain a constant 4 stacks. This is another crucial damage-boosting aspect of this build.
Fury Generation is a key affix for maintaining full fury. Combined with War Cry, it accumulates fury, ensuring a continuous flow.
Additionally, this build reworks Weapon Master Paragon, allowing you to utilize its magic nodes to increase maximum fury, laying the foundation for further damage stacking.
Skill Points and Expertise
Core Damage Dealer
Whirlwind is Barbarian's primary damage skill. Allocate points to the fury-consuming damage-boosting branch and the tornado branch; the latter generates two dust devils to assist in attacks.
Remember to select Channel Damage Bonus to maximize Whirlwind's damage.
Key Support Skills
- Rallying Cry: The core of fury generation. Players must ensure they have Resource Generation talent and the 20% effect boost branch to guarantee infinite furies.
- Iron Skin: Provides unstoppable effects, increasing survivability.
- Challenging Shout: Provides a 20% damage bonus to the first 5 taunted enemies and reduces their attack power.
- War Cry: Provides independent A-type damage, increases attack speed, and extends duration.
- Call of the Ancients: The core burst skill. Released every 6 seconds, it interrupts Whirlwind's smooth gameplay, but the different ancestors it summons provide massive damage bonuses.
If you find the skill bar too complex or dislike interrupting Whirlwind, you can use Wrath of the Berserker ultimate skill instead.
Expertise
We can choose a polearm as our expertise, gaining a permanent 15% damage increase and a 15% increase to Lucky Hit Chance.
Gear Selection
- Helmet: Harlequin Crest is a good choice. Prioritize Cooldown Reduction stats; don't stack maximum health too high.
- Chest Armor: Blood Boiling (Key Aspect). Automatically gains one stack of Overpower every 4 seconds, reliably synergizing with Dominate Glyph.
- Gloves: Gohr's Devastating Grips. Gathers enemies every 2 seconds and increases Whirlwind damage.
- Pants: Choose Earthquake Aspect for unconditional damage bonuses while under Overpower effect. No weapon switching required.
- Boots: Choose Battle Mad Aspect for additional damage.
- Ring 1: Use Heavy Hitting Aspect to increase tornado damage. Prioritize Critical Strike Chance, Critical Strike Damage, Vulnerability Damage, and All Damage affixes. For crafting, choose “Damage Per Stack”.
- Ring 2: Ring of Starless Skies. Reduces resource consumption and provides a direct independent damage boost.
- Amulet: Undoubtedly, choose Melted Heart of Selig.
If you don't have any of Diablo 4 items listed above, you can use others as substitutes, but the damage effect may not be as significant.
Rune Combinations
Rune Combination 1: NaguCeh
Mechanism: Activating Ancestral Call summons a permanent pack of wolves to assist in combat.
Rune Combination 2: CirVex
Mechanism: Utilizes Cir's 300 Consecration overflow to easily activate and maintain Vex's +3 to all skills effect.
Charm
After testing, 3 Charms with maximum fury + 2 Charms with +3 to all skills are the golden ratio for maximizing damage.
However, there is a taboo: this build has extremely low life, so remember not to use Charms that increase life by 30%.
Gameplay Loop
Before entering combat, players must first summon an ancestor to see if they can pull the ancestor of cast Frenzy.
During combat DPS, hold down the right mouse button to channel Whirlwind. Use all War Cry and Call of the Ancients on cooldown.
Our core focus is as follows:
- Red Buff: Represents the stacks of Infinite Frenzy; keep it at full stacks (300).
- Overpower Stacks: Maintain at 4 stacks.
- Damage Display: Once fully built, the displayed damage numbers can reach 23-24 trillion, or even higher.
Limitless Rage greatly enhances all builds, including Whirlwind, Hammer of the Ancients, Double Swing, Berserk, etc., each easily surpassing Pit 120 stacks.
Currently, Barbarian is rated as a Tier 2 class by some community players, known for its stability and strong impact. As more builds are discovered, we believe Barbarian's potential is constantly being raised!

MLB The Show 26 Bobby Witt Jr. Takeover Program Guide | How to Easily Complete the Chain of Missions?
MLB The Show 26 has just launched the new Bobby Witt Jr. Takeover Program, giving players a chance to earn a free 93 OVR Cover Athletes card featuring Bobby Witt Jr. by completing a set of objectives. There are also free team-themed items available in the in-game store.
Although this is a relatively short Program, the featured reward is quite solid, and some players may not know the fastest way to complete it or how to get the most value from it.

Bobby Witt Jr. Takeover Program Rewards
The reward track requires a total of 70 Points, distributed as follows:
- 10 Points: MLB The Show 26 Pack
- 20 Points: 500 Stubs
- 30 Points: Bat Skin and 5,000 XP
- 40 Points: Headliners Pack
- 50 Points: 5,000 XP
- 60 Points: MLB The Show 25 Pack
- 70 Points: 93 OVR Cover Athletes Bobby Witt Jr. and 10,000 XP
Even though the reward path is short, it still includes several packs and plenty of MLB The Show 26 stubs. More importantly, it offers a total of 20,000 XP, which is extremely valuable for players trying to progress through XP Path quickly.
How To Complete Bobby Witt Jr. Takeover Program?
Top Prospect
These two objectives can be completed at the same time and are very straightforward:
- Earn 7,000 Parallel XP (10 Points)
Accumulate 7,000 Parallel XP using any players in any mode, including Ranked Seasons, Play vs CPU, and more.
- Record 60 Total Bases (10 Points)
Use any players to accumulate 60 Total Bases.
After finishing both objectives, you will earn 20 Points, 500 Stubs, and one The Show Pack.
Career Highlights
This section is the core of Program. The objectives unlock sequentially, meaning you must complete the previous mission before the next one becomes visible. Make sure to keep track of your current objective.
Mission 1: Record 15 Hits
- Objective: Get 15 Hits using any players
- Reward: 10 Points and unlocks the next stage
Mission 2: Score 11 Runs
- Objective: Score 11 Runs
- Reward: 10 Points and unlocks the next stage
Mission 3: Hit 3 Home Runs
- Objective: Record 3 Home Runs
- Reward: 10 Points and unlocks the next stage
Mission 4: Record 4 Extra Base Hits
- Objective: Get 4 Extra Base Hits with four different players
- Reward: 10 Points and unlocks the next stage
Mission 5: Steal 3 Bases
- Objective: Record 3 Stolen Bases. You can face weaker teams such as Colorado Rockies, get fast players on base, and steal from there.
- Reward: 10 Points
One important note: during Mission 2, many players are misled by the wording and mistakenly think they need to hit 11 triples. That is incorrect. You only need to score 11 runs.
You can complete all of these objectives very quickly on Rookie difficulty against the CPU. Eligible modes include Ranked Seasons, Co-Op, Weekend Classic, Play vs CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest, Diamond Quest, and more. Simply choose whichever mode you enjoy most.
93 OVR Cover Athletes Bobby Witt Jr. SS (3B)

Project Stats Fielding 90 Arm Strength 78 Arm Accuracy 87 Reaction Left: 55 Reaction Right 90 Reaction Forward: 83 Reaction Back 74 Speed
Project Stats Speed 99 Stealing 99 This card has strong Contact ratings against both right-handed and left-handed pitching, elite Clutch, and solid Vision. While the Power numbers are not top-tier, Bobby Witt Jr. still has enough pop to send the ball over the wall consistently.
The true standout features are the maxed-out 99 Speed and 99 Stealing attributes. If you enjoy using Drag Bunts or standard bunt strategies, this card is one of the best options available. It also comes with 8 Quirks.
Cover Athletes Bobby Witt Jr. is strong enough to compete directly with his Live Series version. Several attributes are already very close, and after a few Parallel upgrades, this card could arguably become even better.
Since Live Series ratings can fluctuate over time, any downgrade to Bobby Witt Jr.'s Live Series card would immediately make this version even more valuable and more appealing to use.
Besides its striking card design, Bobby Witt Jr. was the second overall pick in 2019 MLB draft, he was even ranked No.1 among the top 100 rookies before the 2022 season, making this card a great collector's item as well.
3rd Inning XP Path
The new 3rd Inning XP Path is about to arrive. You can save the 20,000 XP from this Program and claim it tomorrow instead, allowing it to go directly toward the new progression path. That is a very tempting option.
The current 2nd Inning XP Path already requires a massive amount of XP to reach the final Boss Pack, and the rewards in the upcoming path appear even more worthwhile.
Overall, this Program is very easy to complete. Simply finish Top Prospect objectives first, then continue playing normally to unlock everything else naturally. If you have already completed 2nd Inning XP Path, it is highly recommended to save XP and use it toward the upcoming 3rd Inning Program instead.

EA FC 26 Season 7 Weekly Play 3 Guide: How to claim 1,050 SP and boost your TOTS profits?
FC 26 launched Season 7 on April 23rd. As of this Thursday, the season officially enters its third week; consequently, Weekly Play 3 objective set for this season has now gone live.
Weekly Play is essentially a core set of missions within Ultimate Team mode. It is often viewed as a specific type of in-game objective designed to encourage you to earn Season Points, effectively in-game XP, by participating in various game modes.
TOTS Week 4 squad is set to be officially released later today. Over the coming week, you will be working to acquire these featured players; completing objectives during this period will not only earn you XP but also help you unlock additional card packs.
Below, we will provide you with all the details regarding Season 7 Weekly Play 3, including its duration and how to participate, to ensure you can maximize the rewards you earn.

Season 7 Weekly Play 3 duration
This objective campaign went live via an update on May 7th at 6:00 PM and is expected to run for 28 days. A new Weekly Play set may be released following its conclusion.
The campaign consists of five specific objectives. However, unlike Weekly Objectives released at the very start of Season 7, you only need to complete three of these tasks to unlock the ultimate reward: 300 Season Points (SP)!
Of course, if your skill level and available time permit, you can choose to complete all five objectives; doing so will bring your total Season Point earnings for this set up to 1,050.
Weekly Play 3 content
You will receive a reward of 150 SP for every individual Weekly Play 3 objective you complete. The specific requirements for each task are as follows:
- Play 5 Squad Battles matches on Min. Semi-Pro difficulty.
- Play 5 matches in Rivals.
- Play 5 matches in Champions.
- Play 5 Rush matches.
- Play 5 matches in any Live Event.
All of these modes and game types are integral parts of FC 26 Ultimate Team experience. Crucially, Weekly Play 3 does not require you to win matches or perform specific in-game actions, making these objectives relatively easy to complete.
Squad Battles
As a core offline mode for earning rewards within Ultimate Team, Squad Battles has received several adjustments in FC 26. The most notable change is that the weekly match limit, the number of games that count toward your weekly score, has been increased from 14 to 18.
SP earned from completing these matches counts toward your weekly ranking. Once you reach the weekly cap, you can continue to earn FC 26 coins, but your point total will no longer increase.
Notably, thanks to an update to the point system in January, it is now easier to achieve high scores in Squad Battles; for instance, scoring just three goals is sufficient to earn the maximum points for goals scored.
Although Weekly Play 3 has no specific additional requirements, if you aim to maximize your rewards in Squad Battles by winning matches, common tips include utilizing players with high OVR and employing wider tactical formations.
Rivals
Rivals is a seasonal competitive mode featuring multiple tiers, ranging from the lowest Division 10 to the highest Elite Division.
To advance through the ranks, you must win as many matches as possible to earn Rivals points (you need at least 15 points to qualify for the weekly leaderboard). Rewards are distributed every Thursday based on your current Division.
Occasionally, random bounty objectives will appear during matches; completing these yields various rewards, which can provide additional bonuses such as more coins, packs, or even accelerated Division progress.
If your skill level is high enough to allow you to win three or more consecutive matches, you can also earn Double Promotion and Double Rivals Points.
Champions
This is a competitive mode utilizing a Weekend League format, consisting of 15 matches played between Friday and Monday. It is divided into two stages: Playoffs and Weekend League Finals.
You must first participate in Division Rivals and accumulate 1,000 points to qualify for Champions Playoffs, with the ultimate goal of reaching the Finals. The higher your ranking in the Finals, the better the rewards you will receive.
It is important to note that this mode does not allow for draws; if a match ends in a tie, you must proceed to extra time or a penalty shootout until a winner is decided.
Although Champions appears to be the most intensely competitive mode, it features a very player-friendly mechanic: the qualification tokens you earn to enter the Finals do not expire.
Typically, at the end of a season, your accumulated SP are reset, requiring you to start from scratch; however, Champions Finals qualification tokens are exempt from this reset and carry over into the next season.
Rush
This is a fast-paced, 5v5 small-sided match mode that has become a core component of Ultimate Team. Each match lasts 7 minutes and features no half-time break.
Each team consists of just four outfield players controlled by you, and one AI-controlled goalkeeper; however, you can issue specific commands to direct AI keeper. Additionally, the pitch dimensions differ from those of a standard field, being significantly more compact.
Live Event
Unlike the four gameplay modes mentioned previously, Live Event actually spans across the three major modes within EA FC 26. It encompasses a vast array of matches and gameplay types, offering you significantly fewer restrictions by comparison.
Extra tips
We highly recommend completing all five objectives whenever possible to unlock every Season 7 Weekly Play 3 SP reward. Doing so will allow you to accelerate your Season Pass progression, unlock the associated card packs, and acquire even more TOTS players before May 22nd!
That wraps up everything we have to share with you today. FC 26 updates its in-game content very frequently, so be sure to complete new events promptly and keep a close eye on the schedule! Good luck!

Monopoly Go May 8-10 Trade Fest & Blocks Boutique Event Schedule | Don't miss out on this weekend's rewards!
Attention Tycoons! Monopoly Go Trade Fest is returning this weekend. Sticker collectors will love this event. Also, starting at the same time are the new Blocks Boutique mini-game and several limited-time bonus events. Don't miss out!
Trade Fest Returns
Monopoly Go last held a Trade Fest in January of this year, and now it's back! It launched on May 8th at 1:00 PM and will run until May 10th at 1:00 PM, a total of two days.
You can complete other fun activities during these two days. But sticker collectors should pay special attention to this event, as it will definitely help you complete your albums better. It's an opportunity you won't normally have.
Normally, players can only trade five Monopoly Go stickers per day, but during Trade Fest, this number will be doubled! That means you can complete up to twenty trades over these two days, excluding gold stickers.

You can save any extra four-star or five-star stickers for this weekend, allowing you to better complete your collection through trading. Trading with your friends or in public groups is possible; there are no community membership requirements.
You can also pre-arrange which stickers to exchange with others, saving time this weekend and making your trades faster and more efficient without wasting trade attempts.
Of course, if you have many useless, extra stickers, feel free to give them to your friends; you might receive an unexpected reward. This not only helps everyone collect stickers faster but also strengthens friendships and makes it easier to team up for competitions later in the game.
New Blocks Boutique Mini-Game
If you're a loyal Monopoly Go player, you're probably already familiar with this mini-game. Blocks Boutique focused on making seasonal drinks. Players need to place blocks on the board and collect different ingredients according to the game's requirements to complete the drink.
Blocks Boutique will last slightly longer than Trade Fest, started at 1:00 PM on May 8th and continuing until 4:00 PM on May 12th. Four days should be enough time to complete the drink making. This is also a key way to earn extra rewards this weekend.
Completing each level will unlock a drink display. You'll also receive cash or dice rewards. Fill your display shelf step by step, whether it's a row or a column, and the rewards will grow even bigger. Future Blocks Boutique events may even allow players to make cakes and pizzas.
Of course, don't get too fixated on completing a column or row; as long as you make a drink, you'll get a reward. Every creation you make is meaningful, and the final grand prize is simply the culmination of all your efforts.
While the official rewards for Blocks Boutique haven't been specified, based on past limited-time mini-games, we can speculate that the grand prize might include a large number of dice, sticker packs, tokens, in-game cash boosts, and more.
To get the rewards you want, make good use of these four days and try to fill your boutique's display window as much as possible. You can start collecting dice now and progress through the game along with limited-time events like Free Parking.
Tournament Schedule
Two tournaments will be held simultaneously this weekend. As always, you can improve your ranking and collect points by participating in the tournaments. The rewards are plentiful.
Tycoon Class
From May 8th 1:00 PM to May 9th 1:00 PM, you have 24 hours to participate in Tycoon Class tournament. It's a short time, but you can quickly level up and earn milestone rewards.
Puppet Party
Puppet Party started at the same time as Tycoon Class, but ends one day later. This tournament will continue until 1:00 PM on May 10th, giving you more opportunities to win milestone rewards.
It's worth noting that Puppet Party is perfect for free-to-play players because it doesn't require you to use all your dice or use a lot at once.
Special Events
Additionally, from this morning, May 8th at 3:00 AM, until May 9th, there will be a series of special events available to participate in. If you want to earn as many rewards as possible during this period, be sure to plan your time accordingly.
Builder's Bash (50%)
This was the first event to kick off today; running from 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM, it has now concluded. While it serves as your prime opportunity to reduce the cost of upgrading your landmarks, the event window itself is quite brief.
If you were lucky enough to participate on time, you likely didn't have to spend a fortune in cash, as Builder's Bash offers discounts that significantly lower your construction costs - potentially saving you hundreds of millions in cash!
Lucky Chance
Lucky Chance event started at 9:00 AM on May 8th and ended at 3:00 PM today. Most importantly, it helps you increase your Chance tiles rewards, and your earnings will be surprisingly high when using high multipliers. If you happened to miss this event, quickly turn your attention to the other limited-time events currently underway!
Rent Frenzy
From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on May 8th, you can use Rent Frenzy to increase your chances of collecting rent when your friends land on the board.
Free Parking
Don't miss the incredibly popular Free Parking event from 9:00 PM on May 8th until 3:00 AM on May 9th! Simply park on a Free Parking tile to earn a host of amazing rewards.
With so many limited-time events, Tycoons are sure to have a fantastic weekend. Get online now!

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 Return of the Ancients Revamps Breach, Delirium, and Ritual While Introducing Rune Smithing
After nearly five months, Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 Return of the Ancients has finally been unveiled. During the official livestream, while the full scope of Runes of Aldur League wasn't shown, what was revealed was already immensely exciting.
PoE 2 Patch 0.5.0 is scheduled to launch on May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM PDT, and it is far from a simple league update - it's a colossal release that includes 30 brand-new endgame zones, a new pinnacle boss, five legendary storylines, and a massive wave of mechanical overhauls. You can think of it as an expansion on the scale of Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred, one that will almost reshape the entire game.

Rune Smithing
After freeing the blacksmith in Act 1, you will unlock a huge monolith, introducing the new Rune Smithing system. Activating the monolith summons waves of monsters, and defeating them yields generous rewards.
Once you learn specific recipes, you can reliably obtain a certain Augmentation very early in the campaign, making story progression much smoother. The monolith also resurrects nearby undead monsters and grants them various empowering affixes, which becomes particularly challenging in high-level endgame zones, as those monsters can carry extremely deadly enhancements.
You'll need to find Rune Stones scattered across the world to learn more recipes, and the entire process is simple, engaging, and rewarding.
Verisium and Kalguuran Spells
Closely tied to Rune Smithing is a new crafting and spell system. You will discover new currency, Verisium, which you can bring to Runes of Aldur League NPC to have your equipment imbued with a Runic Ward. This is an entirely new defensive mechanic that is only consumed when your life reaches zero, essentially serving as a third health layer beyond energy shield and life.
What's truly exciting are Kalguuran Spells, which you can obtain by defeating special monsters near the monoliths. Kalguuran Spells don't consume any resource, have no attribute requirements, and are usable by all classes. Instead of mana, they draw upon your Runic Ward. In addition, a wealth of new support gems will interact with Runic Ward mechanic.
Mechanic Changes
Expedition
Expeditions will now feature Remnants from Kalguuran. These remnants apply additional buffs to all summoned enemies, dramatically increasing the danger while making POE 2 Currency and items from a single expedition more concentrated and of higher quality.
Once you reach the endgame, you'll find a small port in the southern part of Atlas, which triggers an entirely new core Expedition mechanic. You'll set sail, fight your way to an island, and take on a new boss that dominates it. Defeating that boss awards a Log Book, which unlocks more optional content across the seas.
Delirium
Delirium will now show a progress bar indicating how deeply you're venturing into the madness; the deeper you go, the greater the peril. Touching and destroying shards creates insanity effects that alter encounters.
Furthermore, Delirium emotions now have a brand-new use - they can be applied to Jewels to add specific affixes that are normally extremely difficult to roll, effectively adding a precise, small-scale crafting method to the game.
Breach
The remaining time before a Breach closes will now be displayed accurately. You need to keep Breach open to reach the second tier, destroy all monsters, and trigger an insane explosion of items. You can summon powerful bosses to earn Breach offerings used for crafting powerful gear on a dedicated crafting tree.
Breach crafting tree needs to be fed continuously; it will gradually grow, unlocking new base types and brand-new affixes, allowing you to forge specific items that cannot be obtained anywhere else in the game. Once you craft a Breachstone, you can unlock new Breach domains visible on Atlas to challenge a new pinnacle boss.
Ritual
Items obtainable from Rituals will no longer include junk; they will consist exclusively of unique items or Omens. You can also choose to sacrifice tribute for a chance to fight a boss.
Find and defeat it, and after fulfilling certain tasks you will unlock new Ritual variants that can summon colossal beasts. Defeat them to harvest their body parts and use them to build your own altar, which influences subsequent maps. Monsters will not simply respawn in place - they accumulate from one map to the next, meaning you may have the chance to face five bosses at once.
Endgame Atlas
Atlas passive tree has been completely reworked and filled with powerful new nodes. For example, Rogue Exiles who retreat during a fight will return with better equipment to challenge you again; or you can make Strongboxes have up to seven prefixes and additional suffixes. The tree can even combine mechanics - such as having Delirium spirits inhabit Strongboxes, empowering all the monsters that pour out of them.
Now, you can earn points by clearing maps within strongholds to unlock all nodes on Atlas tree. The developers said this approach allows them to design extremely potent bonuses without worrying about players constantly respecing their tree for different activities. Of course, many nodes still require you to make a choice, preserving the strategic depth.
Atlas Masters
Another intriguing new mechanic within Atlas Passive Tree is the introduction of Atlas Masters. These Masters will teach you specialized skills and grant access to independent, mini-passive trees. You can switch between different Masters at any time, selecting the one best suited to your current strategy.
Ascendancy Classes
Spirit Walker
Spirit Walker is Huntress's Ascendancy Class. She can create multiple types of Wisps; you can specialize in one or command all three simultaneously, unlocking hidden powers that strengthen all of your Wisps. She can also use idols to enhance her abilities and even manipulate beast bosses.
Martial Artist
Martial Artist is Monk's new Ascendancy Class, capable of channeling a Holo Form that creates duplicates which use your skills. He can gain special bonuses through Runic Tattoos, granting effects akin to wearing additional equipment.
Quality of Life Updates
In terms of quality of life, new markers have been added to the campaign to guide players, along with signpost-like arrows so you can know your objective's direction without constantly opening the minimap.
For players who love theorycrafting, an in-game Build Guide system has been added. You can directly load a build file, and it will highlight all necessary nodes on the passive tree, as well as guide you on required Ascendancy points, skill gems, support gem recommendations, and even gear requirements.
Patch 0.5.0 hasn't just met player expectations - it has arguably surpassed them. It gives players a new goal after reaching the endgame, and you can easily sink thousands of hours into it.

Torchlight Infinite SS12 Magus Stacking Chain Lightning Erika 2 Guide | Tanks Everything While Melting Maps with Chain Lightning
The yields in Torchlight Infinite SS12 are incredibly abundant. Even if your build isn't particularly powerful, you may have stockpiled a large amount of Flame Elementium. Now is the time to try some builds that demand a considerable investment.
Magus Stacking Chain Lightning Erika 2 has almost no drawbacks apart from its substantial resource requirement. Its core logic is to concentrate resources, converting the majority of incoming damage into a single type, then pushing that specific resistance as high as possible to achieve outstanding survivability. The remaining affixes can then be devoted entirely to scaling damage.

Core Mechanics
Magus Stacking
What makes this build resource-intensive is its unique stacking approach. Traditional Aura Stacking relies on Lone Walker's Boots, the passive tree, and Sealed Mana Compensation on gear to stack auras.
These auras typically provide additional flat damage bonuses, such as extra lightning, cold, or physical damage. You simply need to stack Aura Effect blindly to amplify those damage bonuses directly, or gain higher energy shield and armour from defensive auras.
Magus Stacking, however, does not provide flat damage directly. Take the base effects of 5 Magus types as an example:
- Thunder Magus: Grants attack speed and cast speed.
- Frost Magus: Grants life and energy shield recovery.
- Fire Magus: Grants base critical strike chance.
- Rock Magus: Grants physical damage reduction.
- Erosion Magus: Reduces damage taken from DoT.
All these effects are scaled by Origin of Spirit Magus effect. If you have 100% increased Magus effect, an affix that originally reduces damage by 8.55% will be doubled to roughly 17% reduction. In short, extreme stacking does not acquire damage directly through Magus themselves but rather amplifies their various auxiliary effects to construct both offense and defense.
Defense
The key defensive mechanism of this concept revolves around a pair of legendary boots called Verdant Steps. By granting additional effects to Spirit Magus, they fundamentally alter the defensive logic of the entire build.
Verdant Steps feature three random Spirit Magus affixes, drawn from a pool.
- Damage affix: Grants Spirit Magus aura-like flat damage capabilities, such as extra lightning damage.
- Defense conversion mod: Converts other similar damage taken into a single type, such as lightning or fire.
- Immunity mod: Provides immunity to specific ailments or trauma.
Beyond the three random affixes, there is a fixed affix that grants 10% movement speed for each Spirit Magus type affecting you. If all six are active, you receive a massive 60% movement speed bonus.
With these boots, the defensive pressure on your entire gear setup is significantly alleviated. At most, you need only one additional defensive item to solve your defenses, while all remaining slots can be dedicated entirely to stacking damage.
Magus Stacking Chain Lightning Erika 2 Gear
After establishing the defensive core, the rest of the gear follows a very classic Deck Stacking and Spell Burst framework.
Weapon: Headless Cleric Wand
Stack skill levels; lightning skill levels or cast speed are both fine. Crucially, it should have a critical strike chance affix. In short, choose every affix that can boost your damage.
Body Armour: Ralph's Burial
Ralph's Burial provides a substantial amount of evasion, boosts your dexterity, and adds lightning damage based on your dexterity. Ideally, you aim for double-corruption affixes. It can be paired with Ralph's Footsteps, provided you already have an affix that converts other damage types to lightning damage.
Boots: Verdant Steps
Verdant Steps are obviously the core of this build. They require roughly 30,000 to 50,000 Torchlight Infinite Flame Elementium. If you opt for Ralph's Footsteps instead, you will only need around 10,000 FE.
Belt: Eternity
You need Thrice Lucky variant of Eternity. This belt is exceptionally effective for lightning skills.
Gloves: Long Night Sorcerer's Wristband
Here you stack maximum resistance cap. Ideally, you further raise it to 86% for even more consistent survival.
Amulet: Sacrificer's Necklace
Sacrificer's Necklace must include Beacon affix. As this is the only source of Spell Burst charges available within this specific build, it is an absolutely mandatory item.
Ring 1: Vorax Limb: Digits
The most important affix is converting lightning damage to lightning damage (matching Verdant Steps). The remaining affixes can pursue critical strike damage or increased Spirit Magus effect.
Ring 2: Thunder Tempered Lightning Ring
The implicit affix of Thunder Tempered Lightning Ring is lightning resistance. For the remaining affixes, you can continue to stack resistance or energy shield.
Magus Stacking Chain Lightning Erika 2 Skills
The following are the Active and Support Skills you will need:
Chain Lightning
Supports:
- Critical Strike Damage Increase
- Activation Medium: Burst Activation
- Electric Overload
- Chain Lightning: Web of Lightning (Magnificent)
- Psychic Burst
Path of Flames
Support:
- Guard
Mana Boil
Supports:
- Cost Conversion
- Activation Medium: Preparation
Swiftness Dew
Supports:
- Activation Medium: Preparation
- Extended Duration
If you want to be even tankier, you can swap Swiftness Dew for Delayed and use Thunder Spike with Numb effect to withstand many high-damage attacks. Swiftness Dew is for maximizing movement speed, while Mana Boil with Cost Conversion solves the issue of mana always being zero caused by the helmet.
Magus Stacking Chain Lightning Erika 2 is a very intriguing build. Compared to Aura Stacking, its direct damage gains are not particularly high, but it trades that for unparalleled survivability. The main issue with this build currently is that the initial resource requirement to gear it up is extremely high, and its damage ceiling is limited by diminishing returns from aspects like Pet Tablets. Even so, it remains one of the smoothest and most satisfying builds for clearing maps in SS12.
