MapleStory Classic World recently released its v.1.1.0 update, the first major version update since the game's grand launch.

v.1.1.0 optimizes the arrow conversion recipes in Woodcrafting Rank 1. Whether it's arrow for bow or arrow for crossbow, the yield and material consumption for each conversion have increased tenfold, while the conversion ratio remains at 2:1.

This means players can craft arrows in batches with fewer operations, providing Archers with more convenient daily supplies.

Citizenship Adjustment: Reduced Contribution Requirements for Rank 4-10

Citizenship system received an adjustment in v.1.1.0 that affects long-term progression: the contribution requirements for Rank 4 to Rank 10 have been reduced.

The system unlocks from Level 12 onwards. Players accumulate contribution points through daily errands and weekly donations on the community board, gradually increasing their Citizenship Rank in Henesys or Kerning City, unlocking corresponding shop discounts and item acquisition privileges.

Client and System Fixes

In addition to the above changes, v.1.1.0 also fixes several issues affecting gameplay, including disconnections at the character selection screen, disconnections after switching channels after using Final Attack, and Free Market crashes.

Furthermore, the incorrect map type in Mushroom Garden has been corrected, and Store Permit and Lie Detector now function correctly.

Issues such as abnormal Cash Shop preview display, missing icons for some Halloween Cash Items, and low weapon DEF values ​​for Mark of the Beta equipment have also been resolved, further improving game stability and item display experience.

The Halloween event quest 2 in MapleStory Classic World is a short questline accessible to players who have reached level 40; it's also a great way for alternate characters (alts) to gain some extra experience.

While the quest itself isn't particularly long, the back-and-forth dialogue with NPCs and travel between maps can get confusing. Following the recommended sequence below will save you a significant amount of time by minimizing unnecessary backtracking.

Starting at Level 40

Once you hit level 40, complete the preliminary dialogues with the two designated NPCs. Afterward, head to the town of El Nath and speak with the elderly NPC there to officially begin Halloween Event Quest 2.

Ice Valley and Cold Field

First, locate Eon on the left side of Ice Valley map in MapleStory Classic World. He will inform you that the missing Halloween luggage can be found near a large tree in Cold Field.

Clear out any Jr. Pepes and Yetis you encounter (these are commonly found on the left side of the map). Once finished, use a Return Scroll to head back to town.

From there, travel to Cold Field - located three maps to the right of Holy Ground at the Snowfield - and click on the snow pile twice to complete this objective. Then, return to town and report back to Eon.

Orbis

Next, head to the event map and speak with the festival NPC, who will instruct you to travel to Orbis.

Enter Orbis portal from Orbis Potion Shop and locate the NPC; you will then need to defeat Red Drakes to obtain a Red Gem, and hunt Star Pixies and Lunar Pixies to collect MapleStory Classic World items such as Sparkling Powder.

Once you have gathered all the necessary materials, use a Return Scroll to return to Orbis Potion Shop, progress the Halloween quest, and then head back to the event map to speak with the NPC again.

Navigating Between Maps and Wrapping Up in Ice Valley

After the conversation, head over to Orbis Weapon Shop and speak with the female NPC located nearby to continue the quest.

Afterward, return to the event map and pick up the next set of tasks from the adventurer NPC and the NPC positioned on the left.

For the next step, travel to the Ice Valley and defeat Hectors to collect 20 quest items. Once you have them, return to the event map to turn in the quest.

Finally, follow the prompts to return to the left side of the Ice Valley to speak with Eon, followed by Katu.

After finishing your conversation with him, return to the event map and locate the NPC; then, speak to the NPC on the left, who will direct you to find the children.

The children are on the right side. Click on the underground storage area twice, and the fourth child will appear.

Continue with the questline: first, click on the first child, then head to the left side to speak with the chef, and finally return to the NPC on the right.

You may need to go back and forth between the NPCs on the left and right several times. To save yourself from repetitive clicking, you can bind your interact key to 'Y' and hold it down - this will allow you to quickly skip through the dialogue.

Lastly, you'll need to extinguish a fire: click on the central area twice. Once the fire is out, speak to the NPC on the left, followed by the NPC on the right, to continue the conversation.

Once all conversations are complete, chapter 3 of the snowy region will conclude.

Mysterious Shop

While the Halloween event itself isn't particularly difficult, Mysterious Shop refresh mechanic is likely what will keep players hooked! If you find that there are no high-value items, be sure to stop immediately to avoid wasting points.
