MLB The Show 26 April Spotlight gives free player cards and flexible missions
April has arrived, and MLB 26 rolled out its April Fools' event, Common Courtesy, on April 1, followed by April Spotlight on April 2nd. Both events offer solid rewards.
If you missed April 1st Common Courtesy event, you can still take part in it now, though the collection tasks have already expired. But don't be disappointed - its rewards don't include any player cards, so you won't miss out on anything. Now, let's take a look at the rewards and new players from April Spotlight Program.

April Spotlight Program
The game has introduced April Spotlight Drop 1. This event features a wealth of historical moments, letting players relive those classic highlights. The entire April Spotlight program will run for five weeks, with a new wave each week, and gathering all the cards by the end will earn you Lightning card.
You only need to complete tasks to get some free players and player packs. April Spotlight is divided into several stages, so the rewards may not look like much at first glance. Here are the rewards for Drop 1:
- 5 Points: MLB The Show 26 pack
- 10 Points: 88 OVR Topps Now Andres Gimenez
- 15 Points: MLB The Show 26 pack
- 20 Points: 89 OVR Topps Now Carson Benge
- 25 Points: MLB The Show 26 pack
- 30 Points: WBC Gold Player Pack
- 35 Points: MLB The Show 26 pack
- 40 Points: 5,000 XP
- 45 Points: April Spotlight Drop 1 pack
- 50 Points: 90 OVR Spotlight Series Kevin McGonigle
88 OVR Topps Now Andres Gimenez
- Contact Right: 82
- Contact Left: 80
- Power Right: 70
- Power Left: 54
- Vision: 90
- Discipline: 51
- Clutch: 90
- Bunt: 49
- Drag Bunt: 46
- Durability: 95
Andres Gimenez got off to a hot start this season, racking up hits and homers, but the stats on this card are quite conservative when it comes to hitting - especially his power from the left side, which is very weak. That said, the card's strength lies in its excellent defense, and the combination of its 7 Quirks works well together, making its actual in-game performance better than the stats might suggest.
89 OVR Topps Now Carson Benge
- Contact Right: 97
- Contact Left: 81
- Power Right: 83
- Power Left: 60
- Vision: 72
- Discipline: 90
- Clutch: 95
- Bunt: 35
- Drag Bunt: 25
- Durability: 85
Carson Benge hit his first Major League home run during the 2026 regular season opener, representing New York Mets against Pittsburgh Pirates. This card is a step up from Andres Gimenez when it comes to hitting. He excels in clutch situations and getting on base consistently, but he's limited against left-handed pitching and in situations that require finesse.
90 OVR Spotlight Series Kevin McGonigle
- Contact Right: 90
- Contact Left: 96
- Power Right: 80
- Power Left: 72
- Vision: 81
- Discipline: 100
- Clutch: 94
- Bunt: 35
- Drag Bunt: 25
- Durability: 90
At the end of the event, you can earn this top prospect. He's on par with Connor Griffin, who in real life was just promoted to the majors by Buccos. McGonigle boasts hitting stats of 90/96 along with 81 Vision, 94 Clutch, 80 Right Power / 72 Left Power, well-rounded defense, 70 speed, and an excellent swing. He was a solid card last year as well.
How to Complete April Spotlight Program Drop 1?
Missions
The missions in this program are very easy to finish and can be done in any game mode. Here's the main task list:
- Earn 3,000 Parallel XP in any mode using any players.
- Earn 1,000 Parallel XP in any mode using Topps Now or Spotlight Series players.
- Get 20 Hits with Infielders in any mode.
- Record 15 Strikeouts with Starting Pitchers in any mode.
Completing all the above missions will give you 50 points, which means you can theoretically finish the entire program without touching any Moments.
Optional Collections
15 Points Collections
- 88 OVR Topps Now Dominic Smith
- 88 OVR Topps Now Owen Caissie
- 88 OVR Topps Now Justin Crawford
35 Points Collections
- 90 OVR Spotlight Chase DeLauter
- 90 OVR Spotlight Emerson Hancock
Strategies
Collection
If you don't want to invest time, you can also buy IGGM MLB The Show 26 stubs to complete the collection tasks, which will help you prepare for May Lightning card.
Pure Missions
If you're already playing other modes, such as Mini Seasons, you can treat this program as a secondary goal.
While you're playing modes like Mini Seasons, focus on completing the strikeout mission and the infielder hits mission. As you play through games, Parallel XP missions will naturally get done as well.
Moments and Missions Hybrid
If you want to get through the program at a decent pace, start by completing a few simple Moments to earn the first two Topps Now player cards, then use those cards to tackle the subsequent missions.
You only need 10 points to get the first Topps Now card. Completing 3 Moments (4 points each) will get you there. Then slot that card into your main lineup. Head into Mini Seasons or another mode and start grinding the missions.
Pure Moments
If you're short on time and just want to earn points quickly, completing all 8 Moments will directly give you 32 points. Moments in this program are generally not difficult. You can get through them with ease.
This program isn't hard, and the mission design is reasonable, allowing players to complete it in multiple ways. The only real drawback is the lack of repeatable missions, but overall, that's a minor flaw in an otherwise solid program.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 Sunder Charms Farming Guide | Wide terrorization method makes Heralds level up like crazy
In Diablo 2 Resurrected, one of the most important endgame items is arguably Sunder Charm. There are many varieties, and their core function is to remove monster immunities. Although monsters still retain elemental resistances, this is enough to let you take them down swiftly.
Before Season 13, Sunder Charms were relatively common. However, with the official adjustments made during that season, they have become extremely rare, and their value has soared. Let's take a look at what changed and how you can farm them.

Sunder Charm
Sunder Charms have undergone a major rework. There are currently two versions of Sunder Charm in the game:
Latent Sunder Charm
This is the version players were familiar with in the past. It still drops today, but the drop rate has been drastically reduced, making it extremely rare and highly valuable.
Renewed Sunder Charm
This is an enhanced version obtained by upgrading a Latent Sunder Charm through new endgame content. You will need to defeat Uber Colossal Ancients, then craft it using a Sunder Charm along with runes and other materials. Renewed Sunder Charm comes with powerful affixes, making it far stronger than Latent Sunder Charm.
How to Get Sunder Charm?
Magic Find
The drop rate of Sunder Charms is directly tied to your character's Magic Find. Therefore, before you start farming Sunder Charms, the most important thing is to ensure your Magic Find reaches at least 300 points. Even with over 300 MF, you will still need to defeat an average of 150 or more Heralds to obtain one Sunder Charm.
Alternatively, you can take advantage of Souls Dance easter egg to gain 4200 MF. In reality, this is only slightly better than 400–500 MF you can get from gear. The upside is that you can completely skip wearing MF equipment and instead stack pure damage or survival stats to improve farming efficiency.
To optimally farm Heralds, you need to turn the entire game into a Terror Zone. In this situation, the easter egg becomes very useful.
Player Count
Heralds share a drop mechanism similar to that of Council Members - they drop many high-quality items, with a loot table somewhere between normal bosses and Council Members. Player Count not only affects Magic Find but also directly influences the drop rate.
If you want Sunder Charms, a high Player Count is essential. Player Count works somewhat like Torment difficulty in Diablo 4 - it increases monster strength, while elite enemies and unique monsters drop more items.
You don't necessarily need to crank it all the way to Player 8. Prioritize a setting where you can still defeat monsters comfortably, ensuring your farming efficiency remains high.
Area Affixes
Just like maps in Path of Exile, you need to pay attention to area affixes when farming. If Terror Zone has the Extra Strong affix, and you use a Worldstone Shard to turn the entire Act into a Terror Zone, then every monster in that Act gains Extra Strong affix (a 250% damage bonus), making them extremely dangerous. So you'll want to look for affixes that are not crippling - or even harmless - to your build. For example:
- Fire Enchanted / Cold Enchanted / Light Enchanted: Increases global monster resistances; harmless for builds not using that element.
- Spectral Hit: Adds small amounts of fire, cold, and lightning resistance and corresponding damage.
- Extra Fast: Monsters will rush you more quickly, which can improve efficiency - but be cautious in Hardcore mode.
- Stone Skin: Adds 50 physical resistance. Physical builds should avoid this.
Draw the Ire of Herald
To get Sunder Charms, your primary target is Herald. Enter Terror Zone, find and kill elite monsters - this will summon Herald. Elites are usually concentrated near the starting area of Terror Zone. Simply teleport around these areas and kill the elites you encounter.
If a Herald appears quickly in your first Terror Zone and starts hunting you, that game is worth keeping. If not, restart the game, look for a favorable global affix, and repeat the process until you find a game where a Herald is drawn to you early.
Terrorize the Entire Game
Once you've quickly spawned your first Herald in a game with favorable affixes, use Worldstone Shards to turn the whole game into a Terror Zone. Each shard corresponds to one Act; you only need to right-click each shard once, and every Act in the game becomes a Terror Zone. Note: This method might be adjusted in the future, but for now it is the most efficient approach.
Once the entire game is terrorized, Herald's level increases as you keep killing elites, up to a maximum of level five. You must stay in the same game and not exit, because Herald's level scales with the cumulative number of summons within that game. Higher-level Heralds have a greater chance to drop top-tier items - especially Sunder Charms.
Farming Order
Once you have spawned the first Herald (Lv1), prioritize the toughest, highest-damage monsters before reaching a level 5 Herald. Even at level five, monsters in Acts IV and V are stronger than their level 5 counterparts in earlier acts. Additionally, there are two special locations:
- Act II Tal Rasha's Tombs: Contains a large number of elite monsters.
- Act III Flayer Shaman: When a Flayer Shaman is fully spawned, the corpse beneath it generates an additional minion, effectively giving you two drop chances per kill.
The ideal order is to first clear the initial Terror Zone (to quickly spawn the first Herald), then move to Acts IV and V, prioritizing elites in those acts to continue summoning higher-level Heralds. After you have summoned Heralds of Terror, go back to Acts III and II to farm even more Heralds.
Keep in mind that the drop rate for Sunder Charms is very low. You may need to farm hundreds of Heralds in a row to get just one. So don't get impatient while farming, and may luck be on your side throughout the process.

Elder Scrolls Online First Hardcore PvE Night Market Event Zone Full Breakdown | Veteran Players Rejoice
As ESO's first exclusive Event Zone, Night Market is about to launch, bringing veteran players a brand-new, limited-time, high-difficulty PvE experience, along with a wealth of exclusive rewards. Let's take a comprehensive look at how this event works!
Night Market Event Overview
- Event Time: April 29th to June 17th, 2026
- Event Location: An extra-planar city of Fargrave
- Participation Requirements: Free to enter
- Type: The game's first limited-time PvE Event Zone
- Difficulty Level: Targeting veteran players, emphasizing teamwork
- Core Mechanics: Faction Reputation System, Puzzles, Tiered Bosses, and District Boons
- Rewards: Night's Den house for free, furnishing, monster sets, and collectibles

How Night Market Work?
Simply put, Night Market is a PvE Zone, but it's very large and requires cooperation. Unlike the game's standard overland zones, Night Market features significantly increased combat difficulty, approaching the level of Trials and Arenas. However, it retains the open-world gameplay structure.
This zone is designed for experienced players. While theoretically supporting solo play, teamwork and mastering boss mechanics are essential for maximizing rewards.
Its core features include: combat difficulty far exceeding that of regular open-world content, a faction-based reputation progression system, progressively increasing boss difficulty, team-based combat mechanics, and a 12-player Opulent Ordeal.
Night Market Entry Method
As an event zone emphasizing cooperative PvE gameplay, joining or following a team significantly improves character survivability and reduces the challenge difficulty. Players can directly access Night Market event area through three methods without additional payment:
- Quest Guide: Pick up the quest “Those Who Would Rule” for free from Crown Store's quest starter and follow the quest instructions to enter;
- Direct Teleport: Use Starlit Plaza Wayshrine or click the exclusive new icon on the Fargrave map to teleport directly;
- NPC Guide: Go to Shambles in eastern Fargrave, find Curator, and enter Night Market's core area through the portal he opens.
Night Market Three Factions Explained
In Night Market, you need to choose a faction, and you will receive faction-specific titles, banners, monster sets, dyes, and cosmetic rewards. There are three factions: The Glittering Goad, The Ruckus, and The Thousand Eyes.
- The Glittering Goad: An elite faction focused on wealth, controlling the vast majority of auctions and shops in Night Market. Power is contested through gold, contracts, and influence; anyone can rise to prominence here if they pay the price. Their Patron is Tachien.
- The Ruckus: A law enforcement faction that rules through force and intimidation, extracting profits from all shops under the guise of providing protection, attempting to regain dominance after their jurisdictions fall into darkness. Their Patron is Kharakhal Moon-Eye.
- The Thousand Eyes: An ancient alliance of neglected lower classes, wielding power through sheer numbers, secrecy, and information gathered in the shadows. Their Patron is Molto the Whisperer.
Faction Favor is divided into four levels: 1000, 2500, 5000, and 10000. Reaching each level unlocks exclusive rewards, and reputation is not consumed. Faction Favor Tracker, displayed in the upper right corner of the screen, shows your faction's reputation progress in real time.
Players can gain reputation by participating in boss battles, completing puzzles, participating in daring races, and completing daily quests. Different gameplay modes offer different reputation rewards; steadily accumulating reputation unlocks higher-tier rewards.
Additionally, after Night Market ends, all factions will receive exclusive banner furnishings, Shoulder rewards, gold, and more. Reward quality is determined by faction reputation ranking:
- First place - Golden quality
- Second place - Purple quality
- Third place - Blue quality
Night Market Area Division and Core Gameplay
Night Market is divided into three themed areas, each with unique danger mechanics and exclusive activities. Higher-tier bosses will only spawn after lower-tier bosses are defeated.
First is The Parch, a barren and arid region where fierce winds carry the bones of the dead, creating a perilous environment. Next is Skittering Precinct, an area overrun by reptiles, with walls riddled with nests. Finally, there's Sorrow's Friend, the dwelling place of malevolent creatures, a dark and oppressive area.
We also need to focus on the core gameplay of Night Market, mainly the various activities and daily quests.
- Challenge tiered bosses such as Brazen, Argent, and Calamit through Boss Hunting.
- Skirmishes are large-scale public combat events specific to each region.
- Daring Races, mentioned above, are timed challenges testing player skill and positioning.
- Oddities are activities for solving environmental puzzles.
- Dungeons are instance challenges exclusive to Gilded bosses.
- The final Trial is the 12-player Opulent Ordeal.
Completing daily quests quickly grants faction reputation and rewards. These are mainly divided into faction daily quests, Dorfifar daily quests, and quests triggered by interactive objects in each region.
Night Market Rewards
Faction Vendor Rewards
Without consuming Favor, reaching the corresponding Favor level allows you to purchase furnishings, curated gear coffers, collectibles, and other rewards from Faction Vendor.
Achievement Rewards and Rare Collectibles
Night Market includes exclusive achievement rewards, as well as Mythic and Antiquities clues. These clues drop in Night Market Zone, excavated in Coldharbour, so there's no need to worry about losing them after the event ends.
Loot Rewards
Night Market loot primarily includes cured armor-set pieces from dungeons and old Daedric themed rewards.
Night Market bosses drop exclusive trophies or busts, new Skill Scrolls, select item sets, and Trade Bars usable in Gold Coast Bazaar.
Ultimate Bonus: Free Night's Den House
Night's Den, located in the heart of Night Market, was once the vault of Night Market elite. Larger spaces are unlocked by completing area achievements, and it's free to acquire simply by completing the introductory quest.
What makes Night's Den House special is that accumulating 3000 Favor unlocks a functional in-house bank. You'll also have a Currency Vault to display your gold.
Additionally, there are three unlockable Wings related to area Relic achievements. If you want to switch faction flags, you can do so here by accumulating 2000 Favor.
While Night Market also supports single-player mode, it's primarily geared towards experienced players who enjoy challenging gameplay mechanics like Trials and Arenas, and is quite difficult. Best of luck in the game!

ARC Raiders Close Scrutiny Event offers additional chances to acquire more Blueprints | How to defeat Vaporizers and Shredders?
The new Close Scrutiny map event has gone live alongside Flashpoint update. This event doesn't significantly alter the environment itself; instead, it focuses on introducing a special type of ARC device known as Assessor.
You must locate and activate these devices to reap the event's most valuable rewards; however, doing so will inevitably attract a swarm of enemies, as well as rival PvP players, all vying for the same loot.
So, how exactly does this event work? How can you survive until the end and make off with the prizes? We're here to show you how.

Close Scrutiny mechanics
Periodically, this event will trigger across any of the outdoor maps, meaning Stella Montis is excluded. While the event is active, the drop rate for standard loot across the map is reduced; however, the quality and quantity of loot obtained by eliminating ARC enemies are significantly boosted.
Therefore, your primary objective is to locate as many Assessors as possible, which spawn exclusively during Close Scrutiny events, activate them to claim their internal rewards, and eliminate any additional bots that are drawn to the area by Assessors' activation.
Common rewards found within Assessors include ARC Raiders blueprints, ARC materials, and supplies that can be submitted toward the new High-Gain Antenna project.
Compared to other methods, the likelihood of finding blueprints for the newly introduced weapons, Canto and Dolabra, is significantly higher within Assessors, making them an opportunity you won't want to miss!
However, given the inherent dangers of the map event itself and the heavy combat focus of Close Scrutiny, we strongly recommend participating only if you are sufficiently well-geared. And ideally, if you are playing as part of a squad with friends.
It is also worth noting that while Close Scrutiny is active, all locked doors across the map become unlocked. This means you can freely loot locked rooms and areas, even if you don't possess the corresponding keys!
How to utilize Assessors?
A few minutes after Close Scrutiny begins, Assessors will begin to spawn periodically across the entire map. Unlike smaller bots or those adept at camouflage, Assessors are massive, tripod-mounted devices that descend from the sky emitting a distinct red glow, making them quite easy to spot.
Once you've located an Assessor, rest assured that it will not attack you directly. Simply wait for it to deploy its internal platform, then climb up one of its legs (the structural supports) to access its loot pool and claim your rewards.
However, once an Assessor is opened, it immediately triggers a piercing alarm that draws in other combat-class ARCs from the vicinity. And naturally, alerts any other Raiders currently venturing through the area.
If you are playing solo, or if your squad lacks sufficient overall combat strength, we recommend using proximity chat to establish friendly communication with nearby strangers; cooperate to defeat ARC enemies, and then split the loot evenly.
As long as you remain in the area, Assessor will continue to attract incoming enemies. Therefore, the optimal strategy is to designate one or two team members to handle looting the device while the others focus on eliminating the bots; once all supplies have been secured, extract immediately.
If you still prefer a solo playstyle, or wish to minimize risk as much as possible, consider equipping a Photoelectric Cloak from the outset to approach the device undetected. Once the alarm sounds, deploy smoke grenades and set up Surge Coils.
Enemy types to watch out for
Theoretically, once the alarm sounds, any type of enemy present in the vicinity of Assessors will be drawn toward the source. However, particular attention should be paid to two specific threats: the newly introduced Vaporizer and Shredder, which is now making its debut across all maps.
Vaporizer
Introduced as part of Flashpoint update, Vaporizer is a large, airborne ARC unit boasting formidable offensive and defensive capabilities. It specializes in attacks utilizing a line-of-sight laser beam, which ignites intense fires at any location it makes contact with.
The moment you land a hit on a Vaporizer, regardless of the method used, it will passively activate a shield capable of blocking all projectile damage. Note, however, that this shield operates on a cooldown timer.
Consequently, the best strategy for dealing with a Vaporizer is to first move quickly to find cover, then avoiding its laser sweep attacks. Next, use any projectile weapon to land a hit from a safe distance, thereby triggering Vaporizer's shield.

Once the shield deactivates and enters its cooldown phase, aim your high-damage weapon at the small rectangular panel located on the underside of Vaporizer; firing at this specific point will force its core components to become exposed. Continue firing at the exposed core to bring the enemy down.
Besides the rewards found within the Assessor itself, Vaporizer drops other loot upon destruction; furthermore, the quantity of ARC materials dropped increases during Close Scrutiny event:
- ARC Powercell
- ARC Alloy
- Electrical Components
- Advanced ARC Powercell
- ARC Flex Rubber
- Energy Clip
- Heavy Gun Parts
- Vaporizer Regulator
Shredder
This enemy previously spawned exclusively in Stella Montis, but it can now be encountered across all maps. Although it is not a true airborne ARC unit, it hovers slightly, granting it superior mobility compared to standard ground-based enemies.
Shredder's primary attack involves firing multiple shrapnel projectiles in all directions, followed by periodic charge-ups to unleash a larger, explosive blast.
Currently, the most effective strategy for defeating a Shredder is to bombard it with grenades while simultaneously using firearms to target its thrusters or propulsion units (the blue jet vents or propellers).
Potential loot drops include:
- Shotgun Ammo
- ARC Powercell
- ARC Alloy
- Mechanical Components
- Simple Gun Parts
- ARC Synthetic Resin
- ARC Thermo Lining
- Shredder Gyro

PvP strategies
The appearance of Assessors inevitably attracts other players roaming the vicinity, either to compete with you for the loot or simply to lie in wait and ambush you once you have finished clearing the area.
Therefore, in addition to bringing reliable gear, your squad should designate one member to serve as a dedicated lookout during the latter stages of the encounter.
This individual should focus on preventing rats from approaching and ensuring that a sufficient number of Surge Coils are deployed.
That concludes our guide to ARC Raiders Close Scrutiny event. If you and your friends are confident in your abilities, gear up and embark on your adventure now!

Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13 Nova Sorceress Guide | One of the strongest AoE builds that even a beginner can afford to gear
Warlock is the most entertaining class in Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 13, but some players still want to try other classes. If you need a build that can farm while on the move just like a Warlock, then Nova Sorceress is your best choice.
Nova Sorceress ranks among the absolute strongest builds in the game. She boasts excellent AoE damage and can invest skill points into extra crowd control, allowing you to go anywhere and use Teleport to stomp on any monster.
This build works well whether you have limited resources or abundant ones, though you will need to make some adjustments to gear and skills.

Budget Nova Sorceress
Core Concept
The core idea of the budget setup is to reach the 105 Faster Cast Rate breakpoint while stacking as much minus enemy resistance as possible, and maintaining decent survivability. Since this stage does not yet feature a fully developed Energy Shield, you still need to allocate attribute points to Vitality.
Once you enter Hell and can gather Runes needed to craft Crescent Moon, this configuration becomes the best Sorceress build for progression. It lets you safely and easily farm bosses such as Countess and The Summoner.
When you reach Hell difficulty and start farming keys, you can clear most monsters along the way – for example in Arcane Sanctuary, Halls of Vaught, and similar areas.
These zones often contain Ghost monsters. Ghosts are one of the best sources of High Runes because their drop pool lacks many common base items, so Diablo 2 Resurrected runes drop more frequently.
Gear
The gear for this setup is surprisingly budget. Apart from UM rune needed for Crescent Moon and finding a Monarch to make Spirit, almost everything else can be cobbled together from what you find on the ground.
- Helm: Lore
- Armor: Stealth
- Belt: Any belt with the lowest possible Faster Cast Rate roll
- Rings: Any yellow rings with Faster Cast Rate and resistances
- Amulet: The Eye of Etlich, or another amulet that adds Sorceress skill levels
- Gloves: Magefist
- Boots: Hsarus' Iron Heel
- Charms: Resistance charms
- Weapon Swap: Memory
The above setup assumes a character level of 75. At this level, you are simply missing some attribute points, skill levels, and slightly better gear to further improve the feel of the build.
Skill Allocation
Because this is an early configuration, you cannot afford enough points to max Telekinesis and Energy Shield. Therefore, prioritise maxing Static Field, Nova, and Lightning Mastery.
Put 1 point into Warmth for faster mana recovery, 1 point into Frozen Armour to improve survival, and 1 point into Frost Nova to enhance your crowd control.
A common mistake many players make is to Teleport around constantly and cast only Nova. However, even if you later break immunities with a Sunder Charm or Infinity, monsters with lightning resistance still have a lot of health. So the recommended approach is to first use Static Field to deal percentage damage and bring them down to half health, then finish them off with Nova.
Budget Nova Sorceresscan handle enemies on players 3 difficulty, but if you want efficiency, it is better to lower the setting to players 1. Elite monsters always drop items when killed, and killing more of them faster is always better than killing them slowly.
Endgame Nova Sorceress
The endgame Nova Sorceress build is strong enough to cruise through players 8 difficulty without trouble. Nova usually puts monsters into hit recovery on each hit, so one of your strongest survival tools is simply dealing damage non-stop.
Endgame Nova Sorceress Gear
- Sunder Charm: Used to break monster immunities
- Infinity Scythe: Lowers monster resistances
- Griffon's Eye: Provides very useful affixes such as Faster Cast Rate and lightning damage
- Skin of the Vipermagi: Offers defensive capability and high resistances, preventing you from being killed outright if your Energy Shield is broken
- Frostburn: Increases your maximum mana – though Magefist can also be used
- Arachnid Mesh: Boosts Faster Cast Rate and skill levels
- Call to Arms: Enhances skill levels and damage output
These are the more critical pieces of gear. You can make adjustments based on what you lack in damage or resistances. For boots and amulets there are many choices – that is where you have flexibility.
Endgame Combat
Once you reach the endgame, Frost Nova is no longer mandatory, but you can still take it. At this point you can truly max Telekinesis and Teleport. Thunderstorm is an option, but not recommended – aside from its visual effect, it contributes very little to combat.
The combat loop of the endgame Nova Sorceress is the same as before: Teleport in, cast Frost Nova, use Static Field, then Nova. If you sense danger, start casting Nova immediately upon landing. After clearing the first wave of monsters, continue to whittle down health with Static Field; any monsters that run in afterward will already be low on health, and you can keep harvesting them.
Mercenary
- Helm: Bulwark
- Armor: Treachery
- Weapon: Insight
The mercenary is a very important part of this build. He draws enemy fire and provides an aura. Early on, the mercenary's survivability is not great. Besides increasing his life steal and resistances, you will also need to feed him Healing Potions.
Another very popular choice is to give the mercenary Cure in the helm slot. When combined with a Prayer aura mercenary, Meditation aura from Insight, and Cleansing aura from Cure, all three stack to greatly shorten the duration of poison and curses.
For the endgame, you can choose a mercenary with Holy Freeze aura for more crowd control, which is safer under players 8 difficulty. However, Prayer mercenary remains a viable option even in the endgame.
This Nova Sorceress is one of the strongest Sorceress builds, nearly on par with Enchant Sorceress. She allows you to handle everything the game throws at you, go anywhere, and slay any monster.

MLB The Show 26 April Fool's Day Common Courtesy Program Guide | How to get 64 OVR Player Cards, Stubs, and other Rewards?
Hello, dear players, it's been a few days since the release of MLB 26. How's the experience?
MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty is launching its annual April Fool's Day special program - Common Courtesy. Continuing the official fun tradition, this event encourages players to intentionally play poorly to complete tasks and unlock MLB The Show 26 stubs, 64 OVR player cards, and bundles, including Gold cards, Diamond cards, and limited-edition deluxe bundles.
Below is a detailed explanation of the event's rewards, the limited-time reward period, the tasks required to obtain the rewards, and some tips for completing the event.

Event Rewards Overview
Rewards for this event are unlocked in tiers based on points. Currently, unlocking the highest reward requires 1000 points. The core rewards include four 64OVR player cards: Jorge Soler, Kerry Wood, Carlos Pena, and Trevor Story. Collecting all four unlocks a limited-time gift pack.

Furthermore, in previous April Fool's Day events, the free regular player cards often upgraded or unlocked Gold or Diamond cards of the same tier. Therefore, this year's event will likely continue this reward pattern. These cards will eventually become part of Ballin' is a Habit pack, so don't worry about not reaching 1000 points.
Limited-Time Reward Period
Collect 4 64OVR player cards to receive Deluxe New Threads bundle, available only in the Program reward path.
Note: Deluxe New Threads bundle is only available for 24 hours and will be removed on April 2nd at 3 PM Eastern Time.
Missions
The event missions revolve around average performance and the use of average overall rated players, divided into three categories: Moments, PXP Missions, and Stat Missions. Some missions are repeatable, and the overall difficulty is very low. Note that PXP Missions and Stat Missions should not be completed in online mode; they can be completed in online or single-player mode.
Moments
There are 4 Moments in total, each worth 5 points, for a total of 20 points. It's worth mentioning that the official April Fool's joke last year– "bugged" Moments–clearly uses a similar mechanism in MLB 26.
Therefore, players need to be especially careful, as these tasks contain loopholes. The surface descriptions are misleading, while the highlighted blue text represents the true requirements, which must be followed.
- Kerry Wood: Allow one run and strike out no batters.
- Carlos Pena: No hits and no RBIs.
- Jorge Soler: Two hits, but not extra-base hits; only singles are allowed.
- Trevor Story: Caught stealing a base but unsuccessfully.
PXP Missions
- Tally 500 PXP with 0-64 OVR Commons (9 Points)
- Tally 64 PXP with 64 OVR Kerry Wood (5 Points)
- Tally 64 PXP with 64 OVR Carlos Pena (5 Points)
- Tally 64 PXP with 64 OVR Jorge Soler (5 Points)
It's worth noting that 500 PXP mission can be repeated, so it's highly recommended to complete this mission multiple times.
Stat Missions
- Tally five hits with 0-64 OVR Common players (5 Points)
- Give up 15 hits with any pitchers (5 Points)
- Make five errors with any players (5 Points)
- Get caught stealing five times with any players (5 Points)
Clearly, the first mission is the most challenging in some ways because common players have relatively weak hitting abilities. It's recommended that players choose the beginner difficulty level to avoid overly difficulty and complete all the challenges in one go; this is a reasonable way to quickly complete Common Courtesy.
Don't forget that you can get a hit by throwing meatballs, and don't hold down the throw button for too long when hitting a ground ball to the shortstop, as this will lead to an error. Also, be careful; once you reach base, stealing a base is very easy to get caught.
This Common Courtesy event is a fun bonus event for MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty. No high-intensity missions are required; simply complete the simple tasks according to the rules to unlock multiple reward tiers and limited-time rewards. No matter what type of player you are, you can easily participate and earn rewards.
Furthermore, this April Fool's Day event serves as a warm-up for the upcoming Egg Hunt program; completing this task will also boost your chances in the latter event. Don't hesitate, go complete the task and earn rewards!
