Last Epoch Season 2 Acolyte Leveling Build: How To Choose Skills At Each Stage?

Last Epoch Season 2 Acolyte Leveling Build: How To Choose Skills At Each Stage?

Acolyte in Last Epoch is one of five classes, and it has three Masteries: Warlock, Necromancer and Lich. All three Masteries are powerful, but if you want to level up quickly, I would recommend you to choose Warlock.

Warlock is good at using curses to negatively affect enemies and also has a powerful ability to deal damage. This does not mean that Necromancer and Lich are not powerful, but they will encounter some resistance during the leveling process. If you don’t like using Warlock, you can also use a little gold to reset your Mastery.

How To Choose Skill?

Level 1-20

At this stage, Acolyte does not have many skill points and passive skill points to use, so your goal is to unlock Warlock, which you can unlock at level 16.

Before you unlock Warlock at level 16, you can rotate between using Wandering Spirits and Rip Blood, which are enough to deal with most enemies in the early stages. After you reach level 7, you can use Bone Curse skill to further increase your damage.

After you unlock Warlock, you need to learn Chthonic Fissure and Chaos Bolts, which will replace Wandering Spirits and Rip Blood as your main damage-dealing skills.

You can allocate some points to Acolyte talent tree, but be careful not to allocate too many points, because you need to save more points for Warlock talent tree.

  • (Acolyte) Forbidden Knowledge: 8 points
  • (Acolyte) Blood Aura: 6 points
  • (Acolyte) Mania of Mortality: 1 point
  • (Acolyte) Unnatural Preservation: 5 points

Level 20-35

After acquiring the new skills, Chthonic Fissure and Chaos Bolts become the player’s main damage-dealing skills. After encountering a monster, you need to cast Chthonic Fissure first, and then continue to cast Chaos Bolts until the monster is dead.

The advantage of this skill combination is that it is fast and safe, and you can steadily farm Last Epoch Gold and XP even in the early stages of the game.

Here are the points you assign to each skill:

Chaos Bolts

  • Abrupt Chaos: 1 point
  • Doom’s Vindication: 2 points
  • Devour the Damned: 1 point
  • Cursed Blood:1 point
  • Another Affliction: .1 point
  • Mania in Flames: 3 points
  • Condemned to Chaos: 3 points

Chthonic Fissure

  • Fragile Crust: 3 points
  • Death from Below: 1 point
  • Mantle of Flames: 4 points
  • Fell Fire: 2 points
  • Stygian Current: 2 points

Bone Curse

  • Conflation: 5 points
  • Sigil of Mortality: 1 point
  • Reaper’s Mark: 2 points
  • Defile Defenses: 2 points
  • Marrow Thief: 2 points

Transplant

You need to focus more on Transplant at this stage. This is a powerful movement skill. Using it will cost you some health, but it will put you in a safe position.

Here are your points to allocate for Transplant

  • Acolyte’s Fervor: 2 points
  • Reign of Blood: 1 point
  • Doom Bringer: 1 point
  • Fleeting Form: 1 point
  • Anemia: 2 points
  • Bone Armor: 2 points
  • Apostasy: 3 points

Level 35-50

Warlock will become more powerful at this stage, and you’d better find a merchant to spend some gold to exchange for a nice staff. At this stage, you can complete the entire story content and add a trade faction.

The skill you need to master at this stage is Profane Veil. When you learn Profane Veil, you have all the skills you need to master. This is a powerful survival skill with a 10s cooldown. As long as you use it well, you can avoid most of the fatal attacks from the boss.

Here are the mastery points required for Profane Veil:

  • Loose Tongue: 3 points
  • Hell Fire: 3 points
  • Eternal Blasphemy: 3 points
  • Unholy Renewal: 1 point
  • Harsh Words: 2 points
  • Forked Tongue: 1 point
  • Desecrated Graves: 1 point

Level 50-70

At this level, you have reached Monolith of Fate and acquired all the skills you need:

  • Chaos Bolts
  • Chthonic Fissure
  • Bone Curse
  • Transpant
  • Profane Veil

In this stage, you can add the last passive points you need to your build:

  • (Acolyte) Forbidden Knowledge: 8 points
  • (Acolyte) Blood Aura: 6 points
  • (Acolyte) Mania of Mortality: 1 point
  • (Acolyte) Unnatural Preservation: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Soul Stealer: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Spiteful Decay: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Occultist’s Mind: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Harrowing Armor: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Dark Protections: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Chains of Ruin: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Infernal Lash: 5 points
  • (Warlock) The Ashen One: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Grimhilde’s Domain: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Grasping Damnation: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Wither: 5 points
  • (Warlock) Fleeting Crone: 2 points
  • (Warlock) Encroaching Darkness: 1 point

Equipment Recommendation

The best equipment for Acolyte still needs to be crafted after entering Monolith of Fate. During the upgrade stage, you only need to look for weapons and equipment with useful affixes. You can pay more attention to the store, or go to the gambling merchant and spend gold to gamble on weapons.

Priority Affix

  • Increased Necrotic Damage
  • Increased Mana Regen
  • Increased Cast Speed
  • Chance to apply Ignite
  • Chance to apply Damned

Useful Affixes

  • Intelligence
  • Armor
  • Resistances
  • Flat Health
  • Ward per Second/Ward Decay Threshold

Blessings

As a spellcaster, Acolyte lacks survivability, so when choosing Blessings, it is important to increase resistance and life.

  • Flames of the Black Sun: Chance to apply Ignite on hit
  • Resolve of Humanity: All Resistances
  • Resonance of the Sea: Ward per Second
  • Body of Obsidian: Increased Armor
  • Bulwark of the Tundra: Increased Armor

The above is all about Acolyte Leveling Build. According to this content, you can smoothly enter the endgame, and then you can use gold coins to reset your skills and play the build you want.

Last Epoch Season 2 All Champion Affixes: What Benefits Do They Provide?

Last Epoch Season 2 All Champion Affixes: What Benefits Do They Provide?

Almost all Last Epoch items or gear are earned through combat, and honestly, this should be the core gameplay of any ARPG! Let your character continue to grow to deal with increasingly difficult enemies and bosses, to obtain better gear, and repeat until you are strong enough to no longer fear any opponent.

In Last Epoch, there is a special kind of enemy called Champion. As its name suggests, this type of enemy not only has powerful modifiers like ordinary elite enemies, but also comes with more dangerous special abilities, forcing you to be more careful when fighting against them.

Fortunately, these dangerous Champions are also generous enough. Although they are more difficult to deal with, they will drop special gear with Champion Affixes’ effects besides the regular Last Epoch Gold rewards after death. If you can get this gear and combine it with your Last Epoch Season 2 builds, you will be able to become more powerful this season.

Based on this, we will provide you with a detailed introduction to the specific effects of all Champion Affixes that these gears may have, as well as the best way to farm Champion gear.

Affixes And Champion Affixes

In the crafting system provided by Last Epoch, you can modify your gear by adding, removing, or changing affixes to make it more powerful. After obtaining new affix shards, you can attach them directly to the gear, or upgrade existing affixes. Affixes can be upgraded to a maximum of 5 levels, and higher-level affixes will only appear when they are dropped as items.

However, as a special affix, Champion Affixes cannot be removed or replaced, nor can they be upgraded, just like regular Sealed Affixes - permanently frozen affixes created by Glyph of Despair or a Rune of Research. In terms of specific effects, Champion Affixes are closer to unique items.

All Champion Affixes Effects

There are about 14 Champion Affixes (gear) in the game, and each affix has different gear types and specific combat effects. Considering that Champion enemies are very difficult to deal with and Champion Affixes drop randomly, it should be difficult to collect all Champion gear in a short period.

  • Abyssal Champion’s - 2H Sword/Axe: Deal melee damage while charging Void Cleave.
  • Carnage Champion’s - Amulet: Deal spell damage while reducing your spell health consumption.
  • Death Grip Champion’s - Relic (Acolyte Only): Convert a portion of your current health to wards every second when you cast Necrotic spells.
  • Infernal Champion’s - Ring: Damage enemies by summoning minions. Bring a certain number of minions to you when you cast a movement skill.
  • Meteor Champion’s - 1H Axe/Dagger/Wand: Grants you a certain amount of fire damage based on the length of the fight, and converts bleed chance to ignite chance.
  • Mirage Champion’s - Gloves: Increases your dodge rating and maximum shadows.
  • Portal Champion’s - Helmet: Grants you a speed boost after you utilize dodge, and also increases your dodge rating.
  • Profane Champion’s - 2H Axe/Staff: Increases your critical strike chance and maximum skeletons.
  • River Champion’s - Helmet (Primalist Only): Deals minion damage and increases your maximum companions.
  • Spark Champion’s - Belt: Deals spell damage and allows your Lightning Blast to combo up to 4 additional times.
  • Storm Champion’s - 2H Spear/1H Mace: Gives you a chance to apply an electric shock when you hit an enemy.
  • Venomous Champion’s - Gloves: Hitting enemies has a chance to apply poison and make them hit by Multishot.
  • Volcano Champion’s - Belt: Increases your elemental critical strike chance and chance to cast Fire Aura on crit.
  • Whirlpool Champion’s - Amulet: Gain a ward effect for one second each time you activate Maelstrom.

How To Get Champion Affixes?

Each Champion Affixes or gear can only be dropped by a fixed corresponding Champion enemy. Fortunately, the drop rate of Champion Affixes is not low, and you can concentrate on farming because Champion enemies are marked on the mini-map with an icon similar to a skull eye. This way, when you find multiple such marks around, you can temporarily put down the task at hand and concentrate on farming Champion Affixes.

In addition, you can further increase the drop rate of this affix through other Last Epoch mechanisms. For example, after joining Circle of Fortune, there is a skill that increases your chance of getting double the amount of loot from enemies by 35%; after a passive node in Weaver endgame faction is unlocked, it can increase the refresh rate of Champion enemies in Monolith of Fate.

Red Ring Of Atlaria

In fact, in addition to Champion Affixes, if your character level is high enough, you can also consider obtaining rarer high-level gear separately to further enhance your character, such as Red Ring of Atlaria. This ring will only start to drop when you reach level 80, so you can imagine how valuable it is.

Red Ring of Atlaria provides resistance to all elemental types, making it easier for you to reach the resistance cap. In addition, it also provides a series of very useful buffs such as movement speed, health regeneration, mana regeneration and dodge level.

Although the drop rate of this gear is not high, the sources of drop are quite rich, including chests, normal enemies, Echo rewards and so on. In addition, just like Champion Affixes, you can also increase its drop rate through special methods such as Weaver Tree.

In short, there are a lot of affixes and gear available in Last Epoch, but you can only enjoy the benefits they bring if you work hard enough, so please continue to explore!
