Diablo 4 Season 10 Chaos Rift Rewards And Location Guide

Diablo 4 Season 10 Chaos Rift Rewards And Location Guide

Diablo 4 Season 10 has been a pleasant surprise for many players, arguably the most exciting season yet. The first unexpected aspect for most players has likely been Chaos Rift, not because of its rewards, but because of its difficulty.

Most of the content in Diablo 4 Season 10 is fairly easy, and most players can complete the campaign without dying in one go. However, Chaos Rift has shown a different quality on PTR, with monsters having high health. Now that it's officially live, many players' first death is in Chaos Rift. However, by around level 30-40, you're fully capable of handling Chaos Rift on your own, and players clearly enjoy this little challenge early on.

Beyond its difficulty, Chaos Rift, as seasonal content, is also quite rewarding to farm. It's divided into different tiers, and if you encounter a Mythic Chaos Rift, congratulations! You'll receive a mythic item. So what other rewards does Chaos Rift offer? How can you find more Chaos Rifts? Let's take a look.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Chaos Rift Rewards And Location Guide

Chaos Rift Rewards

Chaos Rifts appear almost immediately at the start of the game, but are divided into three rarities:

  • Magic Chaos Rifts: The most common, marked with blue text.
  • Rare Chaos Rifts: More difficult, but also offers better rewards, marked with yellow text.
  • Mythic Chaos Rifts: The rarest, only available on Torment difficulty, and boasts the greatest loot potential.

Chaos Rifts offer a wealth of rewards. In addition to the standard Diablo 4 Gold, materials, and XP, they are also the primary way to earn Chaos Perks and Season 10 reputation, so you can't miss them if you encounter one.

As the difficulty and rarity of a Chaos Rift increase, the items it drops increase. Possible rewards include:

  • Experience, Bonus XP buffs
  • Seasonal Reputation (Viz Jaq'taar Veneration)
  • Gem Fragments
  • Nightmare Sigils
  • Aberrant Cinders in Helltides
  • Infernal Warp (Infernal Hordes content)
  • Murmuring Obols (Torment only)
  • Obducite (Torment only)
  • Chaos Armor (Torment only)

Mythic Chaos Rift is the best, but also the rarest. Its chance of appearing is roughly the same as that of Fancy Old Fedric (a goblin that drops a Mythic Unique and a Resplendent Spark) in Goblin March. However, Mythic Chaos Rift won't disappear easily, and you have an entire season to hunt for this incredibly rare Chaos Rift.

If you're lucky enough to come across one, quickly invite your friends or sell the access (you could earn tens of millions of Diablo 4 gold). No player would turn down a Mythic Unique item.

How To Find Chaos Rifts?

Step 1: Using Season 10 Character

First, you need to make sure you're playing a Season 10 character, not an Eternal character. Some players using Eternal characters have also seen whispers for Chaos Rifts in Helltides. This is clearly a visual glitch. Characters in Eternal Realm cannot access seasonal content like Chaos Perks, Chaos Armor, and Chaos Rift, at least not until the end of the season.

Some players report having Season 10 characters but still not finding Chaos Rifts. There are two possible reasons for this. The first is that Chaos Rifts don't appear very often before Torment 1 difficulty, and your luck is simply poor. Another reason might be that you were too impatient and didn't complete Season 10's first questline, Sands of Chaos. (This quest has a bug currently, which is that there is no Chaos Rift appearing. You can try exiting and re-entering the game or teleporting back to town and then returning to the quest location.)

To avoid missing any Chaos Rifts, it's best to monitor the map while you are riding, as they can sometimes appear quite far away.

Step 2: Location

After confirming you're playing as a Seasonal character, you need to head to the locations where Chaos Rifts are likely to appear. They are typically found in the following locations:

  • Helltide: These are located throughout Helltides zone and can be seen directly on the map.
  • Nightmare Dungeons: Nightmare Dungeons with Chaos rift affix are the most concentrated sources of rifts. These dungeons contain numerous rift portals and are prime locations for gaining reputation and resources. Larger dungeons may generate even more rifts.

Chaos Rifts are relatively rare in Campaign phase, and their rewards are modest. It's recommended that you begin focusing on Chaos Rift farming after reaching Torment 1 difficulty. Farming Chaos Rift-tagged nightmare dungeons is the most efficient way to earn Season 10 reputation and Infernal Warp.

Step 3: Combat

Chaos Rift appears as a hand-like icon on the map. Players must approach and click to activate it.

Once activated, the rift erupts with numerous enemies, which are quite difficult to combat. Players must fight through several waves before ultimately defeating a powerful boss whose difficulty is determined by the rift's level and difficulty.

If you're not at a high level, it's important to note that rifts are far more difficult than the normal content in their surroundings. Hardcore players should avoid soloing Chaos Rift before level 40. It's best to wait until you've the good enough Diablo 4 items, as this can lead to your own demise.

Chaos Rift offers a wealth of valuable content, and since it can be shared, it has the potential to foster new forms of social interaction and trading, becoming a focal point of the new seasonal economy and a core component of player farming.

Diablo 4 Season 10 has just begun. If you're having trouble getting the materials and gear you need in Chaos Rift, you can save valuable time by visiting IGGM.com and buy Diablo 4 gold and materials. Have fun playing Season 10!

Diablo 4 Season 10 Fastest Leveling Guide: What To Do At Each Stage?

Diablo 4 Season 10 Fastest Leveling Guide: What To Do At Each Stage?

Diablo 4 Season 10 is a very interesting season, with several powerful builds for almost every class. So, how can you reach the endgame as quickly as possible?

If you're a beginner, completing the campaign on Normal difficulty will take about 25 hours, putting you at around level 50-60. By the time you reach level 100, you'll have taken about 60 hours playing. An experienced player can cut this time down to under 20 hours.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Fastest Leveling Guide: What To Do At Each Stage?

Difficulty Selection

The first step in the game is naturally to create a character, skip the story, equip a pet, and let it automatically pick up Diablo 4 gold and materials. Then, select the difficulty. The game's difficulty can be adjusted freely. The first four difficulties are unlocked after completing the prologue:

  • Normal
  • Hard (75% more Experience and Gold)
  • Expert (125% more Experience and Gold)
  • Penitent (175% more Experience and Gold)

For other seasons, it's generally recommended to start on Normal difficulty and then level up, starting at around level 15 before moving up to Hard. However, due to the comprehensive character enhancements in season 10, you can try starting directly on Hard difficulty and experimenting with Expert difficulty as early as possible.

The key to determining whether the current difficulty is right for you is whether you can instantly kill monsters. If not, switch to a lower difficulty for efficiency.

Leveling 1-15

You first need to complete Raising Spirits side quest in Kyovashad and obtain a Herb Cache. This allows you to craft either Elixir of Advantage or Elixir of Precision immediately after level 10, increasing your XP gain by 5%.

Elixirs and incense in the game both increase XP gain. If you have enough materials, it's best to use these consumables continuously while leveling up:

Stat-boosting Incenses:

  • Ancient Times
  • Blessed Guide
  • Sage's Whisper
  • Spiral Morning
  • Queen's Supreme

Defense-boosting Incenses:

  • Reddamine Buzz
  • Song of the Mountain
  • Desert Escape
  • Storm of the Wilds
  • Soothing Spices

Then you'll need to begin the seasonal story questline, which unlocks Season 10's Chaos Perks and is the most important way to unlock season 10 mechanics and powers.

Season 10 quest will lead you to your first Helltide. In Helltide, prioritize completing Tree of Whisper quest over focusing on collecting Aberrant Cinders.

Also, keep an eye out for Fleeting Hordes Compass (available only in Penitent Difficulty and below), which unlocks a small Infernal Hordes with only four waves of enemies and provides a significant amount of XP.

Prioritize completing this when you encounter Chaos Rift. Although the higher HP of monsters in this season's event makes farming less efficient, it provides important seasonal materials and reputation.

Leveling 15-60 (Complete Campaign)

During this stage, you'll need to utilize Helltide (55 minutes) to level. You'll also need to accumulate Aberrant Cinders to open chests for significant XP.

During the intermittent rest periods (five minutes), you'll need to check your inventory for better equipment, swap them out, and salvage any unused gear for materials.

Level 30: Dungeons

Around level 30, you can farm Normal difficulty dungeons to obtain Codex of Power and Aspects. Then, visit The Occultist and use some materials and Diablo 4 gold to have him imprint Legendary Aspects you need onto necklaces, rings, gloves, and defensive gear. Note that only weapons, due to their frequent changes, are not suitable for imprinting.

You should adjust the difficulty based on your monster farming efficiency to maintain a high level of instant kills for maximum experience efficiency. Don't forget to progress through the seasonal questline to earn more powerful Chaos Powers.

Level 45: Strongholds

Around level 45, you can clear Strongholds. It's recommended to clear all Strongholds on Normal difficulty, as they clear much faster on lower difficulties, while still earning the same experience as higher difficulties. Clearing all Strongholds will bring you to level 60.

Leveling 60 And the Endgame Transition

After reaching level 60, the game enters the endgame preparation phase. Your goal during this phase is to complete level 10 of The Pit to unlock Torment I difficulty and gradually transition from a leveling build to an endgame build. To accomplish this, you need to upgrade your gear.

You'll need Legendary Aspects, materials, Diablo 4 gold, and runes. You can obtain these resources by running through Nightmare dungeons several times, which will also begin to drop and upgrade glyphs.

  • Tempering: Prioritize fixed defense and damage attributes.
  • Imprinting: Add core power to key gear.
  • Runes: Socket runes on two-socket gear (more important than gems).
  • Enchantment: Adjust the attributes of key gear.

Endgame

After unlocking Torment, your main focus shifts from leveling to upgrading gear. The following are your primary ways of getting gear:

  • Lair Bosses: It is free to challenge them, but the reward chests require the corresponding materials, and you can choose to challenge it in a group for increased efficiency.
  • New boss Bartuc: Summoned in Infernal Hordes (requires 666 Burning Aether). Killing Bartuc for the first time on Torment I or higher unlocks Chaos Armor. He's the primary source of Chaos Armor, making him your priority.

You can obtain your first set of unique Ancestral Unique weapons from Gamblers and Lair bosses, then gradually build up to a full set of Ancestral gear and the required unique gear.

After that, you'll need to cycle through Nightmare Dungeons (for glyphs), The Pit (for glyph upgrades), Helltide (for gear and Chaos Rifts), and Infernal Hordes (for Bartuc). You'll then unlock higher difficulties.

This is a rough guide to leveling. If you're familiar with this process, reaching level 60 will take about four hours, while new players can expect it in less than 10 hours.
