Last Epoch Season 2 Top 6 Mastery Classes: What Are Their Respective Advantages?

Although players always want to experience new classes, it is always unrealistic for any MMORPG to continuously add new classes - this will also disrupt the overall operation of the game, so instead of directly developing new classes, setting up subclasses for existing basic classes is also a good choice! In Last Epoch, this subclass is called Mastery classes.
Not long ago, on April 17, Last Epoch officially launched Season 2. While bringing more new content, this season also adjusted part of inherent mechanisms, including various basic classes and Mastery classes. Based on this, we divide the 15 Mastery classes into the following 5 levels from high to low according to the current situation, and will focus on introducing the top 6 for you:
- S Tier: Paladin, Void Knight
- A Tier: Falconer, Bladedancer, Shaman, Druid
- B Tier: Marksman, Lich, Beastmaster
- C Tier: Necromancer, Forge Guard, Runemaster
- D Tier: Spellblade, Warlock, Sorcerer
1. Void Knight
Compared with the past, the mobility and effective HP of this Mastery class have been significantly improved through the adjustments brought by the season update, and the clearing ability and damage ability against bosses in battle are still very powerful, which also makes it still one of the most worthy Mastery classes in Last Epoch Season 2.
In addition, after entering Season 2, all Void Knight’s skills have increased their damage effect by 200%, and they can also continue to cause damage to enemies while moving in the arena, allowing you to kill more enemies by outputting more DPS to quickly accumulate Last Epoch Gold, and making your gaming experience smoother.
2. Paladin
The strength of this Mastery class lies in the fact that it not only has an extremely outstanding Judgement skill, but also has good combat performance in other skills. Judgement can provide you with 350% damage effect and 200% critical strike multiplier in battle, as well as double bonuses for treatment and damage, and even the required mana consumption and cooling time are only 15 points and 4 seconds, respectively.
Other skills worth using include Symbols of Hope and Holy Aura, which have good damage and defense effects, and Healing Hands, which can also provide a lot of treatment when your character faces a powerful boss.
3. Falconer
Falconer has been favored by Last Epoch players for its outstanding features since its launch. After the optimization of Season 2, the advantages of this Mastery class are now more prominent! The unmatched movement speed and the equally top-level damage output value of other Masteries allow you to easily defeat the enemy with a high critical hit rate and agility bonus. On this basis, you can also utilize Aerial Assault to throw bombs at the enemy.
4. Bladedancer
If you want to have a powerful and fast melee Mastery class, Bladedancer will be your best choice, because its powerful output skills, passive assistance and special Lethal Mirage can help you lock the target faster in battle while gaining considerable defensive capabilities.
If you want to maximize the passive skill effect of Bladedancer, it is recommended that you first unlock the following nodes on its passive skill tree:
- Pursuit: Increases damage and movement speed.
- Argent Veil: Improves your dodge ability.
- Death’s Door: Provides effective damage reduction when you choose low life builds.
- Glancing Blows, Dusk Shrouds, and Dodge: Provides you with dexterity stacking, crit, leech, Frailty, armour shred and armour shred while providing sufficient defense value.
5. Shaman
Shaman is a Mastery class that performs well in melee and elemental. Although its performance in damage, clearing and defense may not be as good as the best Paladin or Void Knight, it is still a Mastery worth choosing, especially if you are good at planning the arrangement and use of its skills.
First of all, Tornado can provide enough damage output and vacuum effect, Aftershock idols can continue to add some extra damage, and Summon Storm Totem can act as bait when other better skills are on cooldown, while providing more damage.
6. Druid
If you choose to utilize this Mastery class, then Storm Werebear will be your most important skill. It can cause 300 or even 700 points of Wave Arena in battle, and 1000 points of corrosion - this should be the highest value of corrosion you can get in Last Epoch Season 2, and the powerful DPS allows you to kill the boss Abberoth as a Druid.
However, the main reason why Druid is so powerful but not in the S tier is that its resource farming speed is relatively slow, especially not conducive to your completion of the necessary gold and XP accumulation in the early stage of the game. But if your character is already strong enough, Druid should give you a good gaming experience.
After our introduction, have you decided which Mastery class to choose in Last Epoch Season 2? If this is the case, quickly enter the game to complete your selection and defeat all enemies with your Mastery class!
