In the last FFXIV Live Letter, the Final Fantasy XIV team revealed the first part of the 5.3 content. The update includes YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse 2, the rework of A Realm Reborn quests, the upgrade of relic weapons, the update to gatherers and crafters, and more.

1.YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse 2-Nier Automata Raid

The second chapter of the raid is coming and is called The Puppets' Bunker. Yoshi-P revealed some areas of the instance.

2. A Realm Reborn Rework and Crafters/Gathers Update

An update is planned for A Realm Reborn quests and story to make it easier for new players to get the latest content. The ARR story contains long tasks that players think are unnecessary. The developer announced that 13% of them have been deleted, other quests have been shortened, and more equipment has been provided to simplify the process. Gatherers and Crafters will also receive an update with quality of life changes: they can try a process without materials, or find a recipe by using materials in your inventory.

1.Resistance Weapons Relics update

To upgrade your new relic, you will need to unlock the quest in The Bozjan Southern Front. Then you will be able to unlock and farm items to upgrade your relic. Yoshi-P also confirmed that this has nothing to do with Poetics. Some items can be obtained inside the Pozjan Southern Front, and some are outside.

4. The Bozjan Southern Front

Players will be able to enter a 72-player instance Pozjan Southern Front. In this instance, they will be able to focus on the main story or additional challenges to upgrade their new Save the Queen weapon. This will not be an easy task.
