FC 26 Bugs Report: App Feature Disabled, Rage Quit No Win, And Missing Objective Tasks Rewards
EA FC 26 is currently in early access, and while players are busy trading and playing matches, some are experiencing a variety of issues. This is not uncommon for a newly released game.
It's not surprising that FUT 26 is experiencing these issues, as some issues weren't resolved in FUT 25. Of course, some of these issues may stem from your gaming device or from forgetting key conditions, and the game itself can't be blamed entirely. Let's take a look at some of the issues players have encountered and their solutions.
Someone Rage Quits You Don't Get The Win
Rage Quit issue was already quite common in FC 25. This occurs when your opponent quits when the score is tied or you're ahead, but the system doesn't award you a win or points.
FUT 26 has explicitly stated that this issue will be fixed. The new rule is: In Live Events, Rivals, and Champions modes, you will be the winner regardless of whether your opponent rage quits or disconnects. There will be a daily limit on the number of times you can benefit from this rule.
1. The System Cannot Distinguish When Your opponent Rage Quits
FUT 26 has stated that they cannot always accurately distinguish whether a player rage quits (intentionally quits) or a network disconnection. This ambiguity results in some quits not being counted as an opponent's loss or a win. Although they promised that in FC 26, victory will be yours even if your opponent disconnects, they may not have actually implemented this feature yet.
2. Match Status
If you quit very early (for example, right after the start or at 0-0), the game system may not credit you with a victory to prevent abuse.
3. Match Type
Different competitions, such as Rivals, FUT Champions, and Friendly Matches, may have different rules. Some modes may not automatically credit a win for a quit; a review may also be required before a victory is awarded.
Feature Disabled In FC 26 Web App
Some players have reported being unable to access FC 26 Web App and Companion App. There are various reasons for this issue:
1. You Are A New Player
New players without FUT 25 cannot access the web app until September 26, 2025. Early access is available to FUT 25 players who joined their club before August 1, 2025. Additionally, if you're switching from console to PC, or vice versa, you'll still be considered a new player, even if you're using the same account.
2. You Haven't Logged Into Your Account Yet
Official regulations require you to first play Ultimate Team mode on console/PC before accessing the app.
3. You Only Have EA Play Trial Running
After using the 10-hour EA Play trial for Ultimate Team, if your time runs out, Web app functionality will be disabled again. You'll need to unlock the full version or own the full game before you can use it again.
4. Server Sync Delays
Sometimes, you've already played the game, but your data hasn't been synced to the app from the server, temporarily locking out functionality.
Solutions
1. If you don't have FUT 25, or if you acquired FUT 25 after August 1st, you may not fully access the app until September 26th.
2. Make sure you've logged into EA FC 26 Ultimate Team on your console/PC, then open FUT mode and complete the beginner's start and team-building process. This will unlock all features of Companion App. If this still doesn't work, try opening the app while you are logged into the game on your console/PC, then exiting the game will allow you to use it.
If all the solutions are not suitable for your situation, try updating to the latest version from App Store, logging out of your EA account, clearing the app cache, and logging back in.
FC 26 First Gameplay Broadcast Rewards
In FUT 26 Gameplay Broadcast events, you can earn rewards by watching FC Pro Open Global Qualifiers for 15 or 60 minutes:
15-Minute Mission:
- Started at 2:00 PM (UTC) on September 16, 2025, and ended at 4:00 PM (UTC) on September 16, 2025
- Reward: x1 Gold Players Pack (Untradeable)
60-Minute Mission:
- Started at 2:00 PM (UTC) on September 16, 2025, and ended at 4:00 PM (UTC) on September 16, 2025
- Reward: x1 Rare Gold Pack (Untradeable)
Completing both missions earns you x1 Premium Electrum Players Pack (Untradeable), featuring EA FC 26 players to round out your FUT team.
How To Claim The Rewards?
1. Confirm that your EA account is linked to YouTube/Twitch. First, you need to confirm that it is indeed your account and pass verification.
2. Ensure you have watched enough time and that your progress has reached 100%. (Only live streams count; watching recorded streams does not count and does not contribute to your progress.)
- Twitch: Open Drops Inventory to confirm that you have met the requirements and claim your rewards manually.
- YouTube: After the live stream, go to Rewards Center and manually claim your rewards.
3. If you claim your rewards after September 19th, the deadline is September 29th.
Possible Causes
Account Binding Issues
Your EA account and Twitch/YouTube account are not correctly linked. Sometimes, accounts were previously linked, but need to be re-linked due to platform changes (such as updates to Twitch Drops system).
Insufficient Viewing Time
First, ensure you've watched enough of the Gameplay Broadcast. Sometimes, your browser crashes during a live stream, but you're actually offline, causing the system to not count your viewing time.
Delayed Delivery
EA Drops are typically not delivered instantly and may take several to 72 hours to appear in-game.
Server Bugs
Delays or missed deliveries may occur, especially during major tournaments. You can provide your FUT ID and proof of attendance to the official team, who will manually re-deliver the rewards.
Slow Delivery
Some rewards may take several hours, or even 1-3 days, to be delivered to your game account. Officials have stated this is normal.
In short, it is now early access of FC 26, and many problems may arise. All you can do is take screenshots to save the problems you encounter, report them to the official support team, and wait for official staff or patches to resolve them.

Gameshare FC 26 Is OK? Why Ultimate Edition Rewards Delay?
EA FC 26 early access officially launched on September 19th! If you own Ultimate Edition, you should have already started building your team and embarking on your new season!
However, if your friends haven't been able to obtain Ultimate or Standard Edition for various reasons, but you do, you can help them by letting them use your account to experience FIFA 26 through the gameshare feature.
The key issue is that with every new game release, these features are likely to undergo mechanics changes or adjustments, so you may not know whether gameshare FC 26 is actually available on your or your friend's devices.
To address your concerns, we will provide an introduction and explanation of the relevant content in this article to help you maximize the value of your gaming experience.
Gamesharing FIFA 26 On PlayStation
EA Sports FC 26 is available on many platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Due to different requirements and usage methods for each platform, the game sharing feature has different restrictions.
First and foremost, if you and your friend both own a PS5 or 4, you can use Gameshare FC 26 to share games with each other for free, but you must set it up separately on your respective devices.
Game Owner:
- 1. Open Settings menu in the top-right corner of the game screen.
- 2. Go to Users and Accounts, then select Other, Console Sharing, and Offline Play.
- 3. Enable Disable. This will temporarily remove your device from the game's primary console, allowing your friend's device to join. If you want to play on your own, you'll need to verify ownership online.
Game Receiver:
- 1. Make sure your friend is logged into their PlayStation Network account before logging into yours.
- 2. From Settings menu, select Users and Accounts, then Other, then Console Sharing and Offline Play.
- 3. Enable "Enable" to make your account the primary account.
- 4. Return to Other option under Users and Accounts and select Restore Licenses to grant access to your friend's FC 26.
- 5. Download the game from their game library using your account to play.
Note that gameshare FC 26 only allows you to share the game itself; the additional benefits of Ultimate Edition, such as early access or extra FC 26 coins, are not available to the other player.
In fact, many players who pre-ordered Ultimate Edition have not yet received the expected bonuses. While this is frustrating for owners, if you're just waiting for a friend to help you out, simply wait for FUT 26's official release!
Other things to keep in mind when using PlayStation Game Sharing:
- This feature is limited to the digital version.
- While Ultimate Edition benefits can't be shared, if your friend has a PS Plus subscription, you can still enjoy those benefits.
- This feature can only be enabled on one PlayStation device per account at a time.
Gameshare FC 26 On Xbox
If you and your friend are using Xbox devices, game sharing FC 26 is achieved by setting the other console as the primary Xbox. Here are the steps (if you're the owner):
- 1. Sign in to your Xbox account on your friend's device.
- 2. Go to Settings menu, select General, Personalization, then My Home Xbox.
- 3. Select to make your friend's console your home Xbox.
- 4. Have your friend sign back in to their account and access their game library. Find EA FC 26 and download it to play.
Gameshare FC 26 On Switch
If you and your friend are using Switch, please note that GameShare is only available through Switch 2, as only the second-generation device can initiate GameShare. Here's how it works:
- 1. You and your friend both power on your respective Switch 2 devices.
- 2. FC 26 owner finds GameShare option and selects the appropriate sharing method.GameShare plus local play is for face-to-face sharing, while GameShare plus GameChat is for online sharing.
- 3. The game owner initiates GameShare session as the host.
- 4. As the recipient, if you have a Switch 1, you need to find the game share icon in the main menu and join GameShare. If you have a Switch 2, you can simply select "GameShare" to join.
- 5. The game owner launches the game, which loads on the recipient's device.
Since this is essentially instant gameplay sharing rather than downloading the game through a shared library, you may experience issues like blurry graphics or lag if you are the recipient.
Notes On Game Share FUT 26
First, due to the unique limitations of EA FC games, this feature is not available on PC. Furthermore, while Game Share works across generations, it doesn't work across platforms, and players on different console generations can't play online together.
If you and your friends are game sharing FC 26 on PlayStation or Xbox, be careful not to change who you're sharing with frequently, as there's a limit on how many times you can share with each friend, and you can only share with one friend at a time.
Why Might Ultimate Edition Rewards Be Delayed?
Ultimate Edition players usually get exclusive rewards such as:
- Early access (often 7 days earlier than Standard Edition)
- FUT packs, special players, and points
- Season XP boosts
Many players notice that their Ultimate Edition coins do not appear immediately. The reasons include:
Server batch distribution
EA servers distribute rewards in batches based on region, platform, and account. This includes FUT packs, loan players, and coins, so some players may see their coins later than others.
Account binding issues
Rewards, especially coins, are tied to the EA account that purchased the Ultimate Edition. Logging into a different EA account or platform may cause delays.
Platform synchronization delays
Purchases via PlayStation or Xbox stores need confirmation from EA servers, which can sometimes delay coins delivery.
Bugs or official delays
At launch, reward delays are common. EA usually announces such issues on their website or social media and ensures coins and other rewards are delivered later.
Tips:
- Make sure you’re logged into the EA account that purchased the Ultimate Edition.
- Check the in-game store or FUT inbox, as many rewards—including special players and points—are delivered as packs or mail items.
- If rewards haven’t arrived after 48 hours, contact EA Support with a ticket.
In summary, we hope the information we've provided helps you and your friends get the best FC 26 experience together!
