Prime Heroes duration

This promotional event is scheduled to go live this Friday, May 29th, and will run for one week, concluding the following Friday, June 5th. Following this, FC 26 is expected to launch its next major promotional series: Festival of Football campaign.

Notably, this subsequent series is designed to celebrate the quadrennial World Cup tournament.

Since the tournament itself spans roughly a month, Festival of Football campaign is expected to mirror TOTS, featuring weekly content updates throughout its month-long duration.

Why participate in Prime Heroes?

If you've been actively playing FC 26, you're likely already aware that the game features a roster of UT Origin Hero cards; Prime Heroes event is specifically designed as an upgrade path for these existing cards.

Currently, there are 248 known Origin Hero players in the game, representing 32 different nations. This roster includes 6 goalkeepers, 53 defenders, 106 midfielders, and 83 forwards.

Origin Hero cards already possess inherent advantages, such as enhanced Chemistry links, higher OVR, and are typically associated with specific leagues and clubs.

However, if you manage to unlock the corresponding Prime version of an Origin Hero, you will receive a significant stat boost over their base Origin version, gain access to additional PlayStyles, and see their card art upgraded to a dynamic animated design.

As you progress further into the game, the overall strength of your squad naturally increases. At this stage, acquiring cards with superior statistics, typically introduced through new promotional events like this one, becomes essential to ensure your continued enjoyment and success in the game.

More specifically, PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ attributes featured on Prime Hero cards tend to be highly meta, meaning they are particularly effective and dominant within the current competitive landscape of the game.

Furthermore, the chemistry bonuses provided by these cards often make it much easier to establish strong League and Nation links within your squad, ultimately helping you maximize the overall effectiveness and value of your team build.

How to obtain these players?

First and foremost, it is crucial to understand that you can only unlock the relevant Prime Heroes cards during the specific week that the promo is active.

Once that period concludes, regardless of which packs you open, you will only receive rewards associated with other currently ongoing events.

Throughout this week, FIFA 26 will be releasing new SBCs and objectives quite frequently. While some of these will reward you with packs upon completion, others will directly grant specific Prime Hero cards, the latter are absolutely not to be missed.

If you have previously unlocked any Origin Hero cards, they will serve as your greatest asset in completing these SBCs, as these challenges often impose specific requirements regarding team chemistry and player nationalities.

If the rewards alone aren't sufficient to help you unlock every Prime Hero, you can also buy FC 26 coins at IGGM and then use them to acquire additional packs via the in-game store.

Alternatively, if you have the time, you can keep a close watch on the transfer market; by monitoring market fluctuations, you can strike at the perfect moment to unlock the specific players you desire.

Which Prime Heroes are the best?

Since Prime Heroes cover a variety of positions and receive distinct attribute boosts, it is impossible to make a simple, definitive judgment as to which ones are objectively better.

However, if your goal is to strengthen your club's overall power by adding these cards, you should certainly prioritize filling the positions where your squad is currently weakest. Conversely, if you acquire a card you don't want, you can choose to sell it to earn a substantial amount of coins.

FC 26 Team of the Season has been underway for several weeks now, and many excellent player cards have been selected for this event. This event has been generating a lot of excitement among game fans.

Today, I'll create a ranking of these player cards based on their skills, in-game abilities, attribute parameters, and more. This ranking is divided into four tiers: S+, S, A+, and A - of course, I'll also mention some bad cards.

S+ Tier

S+ player cards are the most powerful TOTS cards in FUT 26. These cards either have very high attributes or extremely powerful skills; obtaining any one of them will directly elevate your team's strength to a new level. Their numbers only represent order, not rank.

1. Kylian Mbappé: Do I need to explain why Kylian Mbappé is S+? Everyone knows he's S+. He's already widely recognized as the strongest player card in FC 26, and his TOTS version is ridiculously strong.
2. Lionel Messi: Although this world-class star has moved to MLS in real life, his TOTS card in the game still boasts top-tier passing ability, with incredibly smooth handling. Come on, that's Messi!
3. Lamine Yamal: This young Barça player's TOTS card possesses both 5 Star Skills and 5 Star Weak Foot, making him one of the top Wingers in the game.
4. Luka Modrić: While Luka Modrić's TOTS card isn't the fastest, his Dribbling, passing, and defensive awareness are all very well-balanced, making him a top-tier all-around card.
5. Ousmane Dembélé: Dembélé possesses a natural 5 Star Weak Foot, coupled with extremely high speed and smooth Dribbling, making him a top choice for right-wing breakthroughs.
6. Cristiano Ronaldo: S+ naturally includes Cristiano Ronaldo. Although he's older in real life, he remains a top player in FIFA 26. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, and once he starts running, no one can stop him.
7. Pedri: Pedri is definitely S+, his TOTS card has excellent Dribbling and passing attributes.
8. Vitinha: Vitinha's TOTS card has excellent agility and passing vision, making her very fun to play.
9. Claudia Pina: Claudia Pina is a top-tier attacker, undoubtedly S+.
10. Tabitha Chawinga: This player's TOTS card has 5 Star Weak Foot, making her extremely fast; no one can catch her on the field. Therefore, if you want to get her in FC 26, you'll need to spend approximately 505,000 Coins.
11. Declan Rice: Declan Rice is probably the best defensive midfielder in the game. He has three gold skills: Anticipate, Incisive Pass, and Pinged Pass, making him a perfect defensive midfielder.
12. Harry Kane: Harry Kane's shooting and finishing abilities are top-notch. His TOTS card has an exceptionally high shooting attribute, making him a well-deserved S+.

S Tier

S-tier TOTS cards are also strong, but compared to S+ tier cards, they either lack 5-star skills and 5-star weak feet, are not tall enough, or have slightly inferior skills, thus placing them in S tier.

However, many of these cards actually have the potential to enter S+ tier. Again, the ranking is not in any particular order.

1. Bruno Fernandes: His TOTS card excels in passing and long-range shooting.
2. Kerstin Casparij: This Right Back is not only incredibly capable but also extremely cost-effective. Currently in FUT 26, she can be obtained for only 45,000 coins - it's practically free!
3. Khadija Shaw: She is an outstanding clinical finisher with four gold skills, making her very powerful. She's only ranked S-tier because she's occasionally held back by opponents.
4. Luis Suárez: Luis Suárez's TOTS card has several useful skills, but his height prevents him from triggering Lengthy.
5. Ludovit Reis: Ludovit Reis's TOTS card performs very well. In FC 26, it previously required 1.4 to 1.5 million coins to obtain, but recently it's only as low as 35,000 coins, making it a good opportunity to acquire him.

10. Theo Hernández: Theo Hernández's TOTS card only requires a small amount of coins, perhaps because he lacks defensive gold skills. However, he's actually a good left-wing attacker and deserves an S-tier rating.

A+ Tier

A+ and A tier cards are "usable but not particularly strong," suitable for FIFA 26 beginners or players with limited budgets. Therefore, they are simply listed below without much explanation.

A Tier

TOTS cards in this tier are similar to those in A+ tier, only slightly weaker in some abilities.

1. Igor Thiago Rodrigues: His TOTS card is decent as a Forward Finishing Ability, but overall, it's only suitable for an A tier.
2. Paula Fernandez: Her other cards are decent, but her TOTS card is quite bad.
3. Avery Patterson: A rather terrible TOTS card. As a Fullback, her skill is practically meaningless; it's unclear what the developers were thinking.
4. Mapi León: You can get her card for only 15,000 coins, but her TOTS card skill is poor, and she's also rather short.
5. Deja Davis
