EA FC 27 Gallery Tokens Farming Guide | Fast Set Completion And Trading Tips
In EA FC 27 Gallery, the main focus for players is how to complete sets, achieve S-grade ratings, and obtain as many Gallery Tokens as possible to redeem players such as Hulk Hall.
Since EA FC 27 has only just started, earning Gallery Tokens is not particularly difficult at the moment. Because you do not need to keep the players in your collection permanently, you can repeatedly unlock Gallery sets through quick trading, although this may consume some coins. Let's take a look at how you can quickly earn Gallery Tokens.

Gallery Mechanics
Before you start collecting players for Gallery, you first need to understand how the system works. Gallery is essentially a card collection system. You can collect player cards from specific clubs, leagues, or rarities, and once a set is completed, you can submit it for a rating.
Gallery Rating
Gallery ratings range from D-grade to S-grade, with S being the highest and D being the lowest. Only sets that reach B-grade or above can reward Gallery Tokens. The rating consists of Base Grade and Bonus Grade.
Base Grade comes from a player's Overall rating and Rarity. The gem value displayed above a player card represents the amount of Base Grade it contributes. This base score works the same way as player ratings in SBCs.
Bonus Grade comes from Tags, including position, rarity, different nations, and most importantly, First Owner status. Having a large number of First Owner cards can significantly increase the rating. Different nationalities are also important, so try to include players from as many countries as possible in a set.
Unlocking Tags is simple. Add players that meet the requirements and submit the rating. For example, placing five attackers in a set unlocks All Out Attack, while placing five players from different leagues unlocks Different League. You can add players that satisfy multiple conditions at the same time to unlock several Tags together.
An ideal example would be five German attackers, all from Bayern Munich, and all First Owner cards. This setup can activate multiple bonuses at once, including Same League, Same Club, Same Nation, All Out Attack, and First Owner.
Multiple Tags
Multiple Tags can be unlocked by collecting different versions of the same player. For example, Bruno Damiani has both a Holographic TOTW version and a regular TOTW version.
You can first add Holographic version, then add the regular version. After both versions are added, you can sell or discard them, and both cards will remain in Gallery while activating multiple Tags. If you also own his basic gold card, you can collect three versions of the same player and gain even higher bonuses.

Gallery Milestones
Gallery level is displayed in the upper-left corner of the interface. Increasing your level allows you to complete Objectives in Milestones and claim the corresponding rewards:
- Level 5: Receive 84 OVR Corona
- Level 10: 1 of 5 Holographic Base Hero Player Picker
- Level 15: 1 of 5 Holographic Base Icon Player Picker
- Level 20: 1 of 5 88+ Holographic Base Hero Player Picker
- Level 25: 1 of 5 92+ Holographic Base Hero Player Picker
Set Ratings
Starter Set only requires five players, with a target score of just 2,000 points, making it very easy to complete. Even five First Owner Bronze cards can usually reach the requirement. Nepentes' starter set has already reached a score of 8,196.
However, TOTW Sets are much more difficult. Reaching S Grade requires 550,000 points. You may need 20 First Owner TOTW players to gain a 500% bonus, while also stacking Holographic, TOTW, position, league, club, and nation Tags to approach the highest ratings.
The difficulty also varies greatly between clubs. Coventry City only requires 15 players, and reaching 2,400 points can reward 38 Gallery Tokens along with a badge and kit. Arsenal requires 20 players, and an S-grade rating requires as many as 2.5 million points, rewarding a total of 220 Tokens. This is because Arsenal players generally have higher ratings and more special cards, while future promotional cards may further affect their scores.
How to Quickly Farm Gallery Tokens?
The core method for farming Gallery Tokens is trading cards. When you acquire a player, they immediately enter your Gallery, and you can instantly list them again. This means you will lose some coins due to market taxes, but you can complete sets quickly and collect Tokens.
You should avoid scanning the market for a huge number of cards at once because many player values fluctuate heavily. Trading players in smaller batches is a more stable approach.
Trading cards can also progress Transfer Market Mastery Objectives. You only need to trade large amounts of low-value tradeable players to complete these tasks and obtain coins and packs.
Your priority should not be major clubs, but teams with smaller player pools. Clubs such as Birmingham, Charlton, and Ipswich Town are good examples. Their base scores are lower, making it easier to achieve A or S ratings.
In contrast, major clubs like Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal have too many cards, making high scores much harder to achieve. You can temporarily ignore these clubs.
League Ratings
After completing club sets, it is recommended to place players into league sets for another rating. Even achieving only C-grade can still provide a large number of Tokens.
For rarity-based sets, Team of the Week, Heroes, Holographic cards, Squad Foundations, and Starter Sets are all worth focusing on.
Starter Sets can easily reach S-grade. Squad Foundations can also reach S-grade if you complete the basic objectives, reach Gallery Level 5, and unlock Holographic Corona.
Heroes and Holographic cards require higher-value cards. You can add them and immediately list them again, which causes some coin loss through taxes, but the goal is to obtain more Tokens.
Using low-rated teams to farm Gallery Tokens is extremely simple, so many players are opening packs and trading cards. This has caused the value of some players to rise. The official team may have intentionally designed the system this way to encourage more pack openings, but adjustments to this method could also happen later.
Stop Conceding Goals! EA FC 27 New Defensive Strategies You Need to Master: Squad, Tactics, and More
While FC 27 may not feature as many changes to competitive gameplay mechanics as previous installments, it is still a new game; to earn more coins in Ultimate Team, you need to pay attention to specific new details.
Here, we will help you break away from outdated defensive habits carried over from previous titles and build a brand-new defensive system, focusing on the latest tactical meta, physics mechanics, and control nuances in FIFA 27.

Player selection and squad building criteria
Regardless of the intended playstyle, building an efficient squad that meets the game's demands is the top priority. In FUT 27, since over-the-top through balls remain a potent tactic, pace is a crucial stat to consider when selecting defenders.
We advise against blindly choosing high-profile or high-OVR cards that lack pace, such as famous center-backs with low base speed. Otherwise, you will have no margin for error when facing opposing strikers who drift wide or make runs on the shoulder of the last defender.
Ideally, prioritize defenders with elite sprint speed, such as Micky van de Ven; his base OVR is a respectable 81.
Including such players in your FC 27 squad ensures that even if you misjudge a defensive situation, their reliable base speed allows for quick recovery runs to mitigate the damage.
Beyond the pace stat, ensure your defenders possess Jockey PlayStyle or PlayStyle+. This significantly improves responsiveness during lateral movement, close-quarters pressing, and jockeying for position.
More importantly, if you aren't confident in manually anticipating positioning, defenders with Jockey PlayStyle lower the barrier for lateral pressing.
This allows you to force opponents into a dead end using your player's physicality and movement, without needing to constantly commit to aggressive tackles.
Finally, if possible, we strongly recommend applying Shadow chemistry style to all center-backs and defensive CDMs in your FC 27 squad.
It maximizes acceleration and sprint speed while significantly boosting lateral movement speed during jockeying, helping to bridge the performance gap between standard squads and elite meta cards.

Tactical and settings adjustments
The essence of defending in FUT 27 lies in pre-switching, anticipating danger before it fully develops. To execute this tactic effectively, you must secure your defensive position early.
Specifically, when an opponent is passing the ball along the flanks or preparing a through-ball up the middle, you need to switch to the appropriate defender further back while the ball is still in transit.
Many FC players are accustomed to waiting until the opposing forward receives the ball and begins their run before switching to a defender.
However, at that point, the defender is often constrained by automatic positioning logic, which can easily lead to sluggish movement or loss of position.
Therefore, we recommend adjusting your habits from the start: take control of your defenders early to manually cut off the opponent's running lanes.
Beyond specific tactical details, adjusting your backend settings after the match begins can also significantly improve efficiency.
First, in the system settings, set Cursor Switch mode to Closest to the Ball; this ensures the system's logic operates more consistently.
Regarding Reaction Time Calibration setting at the bottom of the menu, it is best to use it with caution or keep it disabled by default, as it can cause unnecessary input lag in the current version of FUT 27.
For defensive modes, we recommend sticking with the classic tactical defending. Intentionally using Advanced Defending for the sake of complex mechanics often leads to defensive disarray and costly errors.
Formation coordination
Once you have established your overall settings and tactics, it is time to put them into practice during actual gameplay.
In EA FC 27, mastering the defensive layering between the tracking-back midfielders and the positioning of the back line is crucial to preventing your defense from being sliced open.
To achieve this, focus your first line of defense, specifically your CDM or CM, on aggressively tracking back when the ball is in the center or attacking third. Use these midfielders to apply pressure from the front and block vertical passing lanes leading into your penalty area.
Only switch to your defenders when the ball has breached the midfield line and reached deep into the flanks or a dangerous zone. Avoid blindly rushing your center-backs up to the halfway line, as doing so leaves massive gaps in the heart of your defense.
Regarding team defense, avoid holding down the teammate-press button continuously. While holding it prompts AI teammates to pressure the ball carrier, over-reliance can cause AI to disrupt your defensive shape.
The correct approach is to manually control your primary defender to cut off passing lanes or block shooting angles, while briefly tapping the teammate-press button to apply measured pressure from AI teammates.
Also, note that near-post shots and finesse shots are extremely powerful in FIFA 27. Therefore, do not rush into tackles; instead, try to keep your defender positioned directly in the shooting lane between the ball carrier and the goal.
Additionally, the game's current version features robust physical collision mechanics; if your defender is well-positioned and makes physical contact with the opponent, the system often triggers a tackle automatically, so there is no need to spam the tackle button.
Maintaining composure
Whether in the game or in real-life matches, stabilizing your defense requires more than just technical skill, a calm, steady mindset is crucial, as it determines the ceiling of your defensive performance.
For instance, if you concede a goal or suffer a setback due to game mechanics, getting frustrated and ordering defenders to blindly rush out for tackles will only ruin your defensive structure and create more openings for the opponent, rather than fixing the mistake.
Even top professional players cannot avoid conceding goals entirely given the fast-paced nature of FUT 27. When errors occur, you must quickly regroup and refocus on fundamentals, such as cutting off passing lanes.
When an opponent frequently employs complex feints and skill moves, stay calm and avoid rash strategic changes; simply control your player and use Jockey to maintain good defensive positioning.
This forces the opponent to expose weaknesses while searching for passing lanes, creating opportunities for you.
As you progress further in FIFA 27, you will likely encounter increasingly complex match situations. However, by keeping these defensive tips in mind, you will always maintain a better margin for error.
