In WoW MoP Classic, you can be a Warrior, a Shaman, or a Monk, or an Armorsmith or a Fisherman. We all know you have a lot to offer, but one feature missing from previous versions is farming.

While there aren't any farmers among the professions, you can still gain some satisfaction by upgrading your small farm. In addition, there's a Tillers faction in MoP Classic, and you can raise your reputation with them by managing your farm.

WoW MoP Classic The Tillers Reputation Guide: How To Build Your Farm?

How To Get Your Farmland?

The Tillers faction reputation quests usually have a high level requirement. If you're planning to raise your reputation with this faction, it's recommended that you start at level 90. You'll need to travel to Sunsong Ranch in Valley of the Four Winds, where you'll meet Farmer Yoon, a pandaren from the city.

He inherited his grandfather's farm, but his inability to work it out has earned him ridicule, and he needs your help. After speaking with him, you'll receive your first quest: A Helping Hand. Farmer Yoon will then hand over his land to you, and then he will begin his freeloading life.

During the first stage, you can complete the following quests:

  • Learn and Grow I: Seeds
  • Learn and Grow II: Tilling and Planting
  • Learn and Grow III: Tending Crops
  • Learn and Grow IV: Harvesting
  • Learn and Grow V: Halfhill Market
  • Learn and Grow VI: Gina's Vote

On the first day, you need to clear the vegetable patch of boulders and plant 1 onion, 2 carrots, 3 cabbages, and 2 crops of any choice. The next day, turn in the onions and any crops, then take Learn and Grow II and III (plant 2 carrots and 3 cabbages).

As your reputation increases, you'll be able to open more plots and grow more crops. These crops are used primarily for cooking. If you haven't yet trained your cooking profession, you can also sell your crops for some WoW MoP classic gold. When you open enough plots, nearby houses will become inns, allowing you to visit your plots as soon as you log in to check on their progress.

The Tillers Reputation

Similar to Anglers faction, it also has faction reputation and NPC friendship levels. However, 10 of The Tillers have their own friendship levels, and becoming their best friend requires planting a significant amount of crops.

The Tillers Faction Reputation

The Tillers Faction reputation gains come primarily from two sources: main story quests and daily quests. Completing main story quests earns votes from other faction members, increasing your reputation.

  • Mung-Mung's vote: Harvest 2 Juicycrunch Carrots for approximately 5,500 Honored points.
  • Farmer Fung's vote: Harvest 3 Green Cabbage for approximately 4,500 Revered points.
  • Nana Mudclaw's vote: Harvest 3 Witchberries for approximately 8,500 Revered points.
  • Haohan Mudclaw's vote: Harvest 4 Striped Melons for 16,800 Revered points.

In addition to the main story quests, you can complete 5 daily quests each day, each earning a total of 1,075 reputation. The full list of daily quests is as follows:

  • A Pumpkin-y Perfume
  • It's Melon Time
  • Red Blossom Leeks, You Make the Croc-in' World Go Down
  • Squash Those Foul Odors
  • That Dangling Carrot
  • The Cabbage Test
  • The Pink Turnip Challenge
  • The White Turnip Treatment
  • Which Berries? Witchberries.
  • Why Not Scallions?

After your reputation reaches Revered and Exalted, you can receive the following rewards:

  • Revered: Pandaren Scarecrow
  • Exalted: Recipe: Spicy Salmon
  • Exalted: Chips Recipe: Spicy Vegetable Chips
  • Exalted: Gin-Ji Knife Set
  • Exalted: Mourning Glory
  • Exalted: Tillers Tabard
  • Exalted: Reins of the Brown Riding Goat
  • Exalted: Reins of the Black Riding Goat
  • Exalted: Reins of the White Riding Goat

NPC Friendship Quest

Each of the 10 NPCs in this faction has their own preferred food. You can increase your reputation and friendship with them by giving them food. The ingredients for these foods may not all grow on your land; some must be hunted or purchased with MoP Classic gold.

The food and ingredients required for the 10 NPCs are as follows:

  • Haohan Mudclaw: 5x Charbroiled Tiger Steak
  • Tina Mudclaw: 5x Fire Spirit Salmon
  • Jogu the Drunk: 5x Sauteed Carrots
  • Ella: 5x Shrimp Dumplings
  • Old Hillpaw: 5x Braised Turtle
  • Chee Chee: 5x Valley Stir Fry
  • Sho: 5x Eternal Blossom Fish
  • Gina Mudclaw: 5x Swirling Mist Soup
  • Fish Fellreed: 5x Twin Fish Platter
  • Farmer Fung: 5x Wildfowl Roast

To make the above dishes, you'll need all the ingredients listed below.

Fish:

  • 10x Jade Lungfish
  • 10x Krasarang Paddlefish
  • 5x Giant Mantis Shrimp
  • 5x Reef Octopus
  • 5x Emperor Salmon

Meats:

  • 10x Wildfowl Breast
  • 5x Raw Tiger Steak
  • 5x Raw Turtle Meat

Vegetables:

  • 35x Juicycrunch Carrot
  • 25x Scallions
  • 25x Striped Melon

Each NPC you become best friends with will contribute to your farm, which will include cows, sheep, pigs, and some fruit trees. They will also send you gifts via email.

Many of the above quests at The Tillers require cooking, so if you're aiming to increase your The Tillers reputation, it's best to train your cooking skill as well.

Farming Tools

After your reputation reaches Revered, Gina Mudclaw will sell you tools to aid your farming. You can trade your first few tools for more advanced items.

  • Rusty Watering Can to "Jinyu Princess" Irrigation System
  • Vintage Bug Sprayer to "Thunder King" Pest Repellers
  • Dented Shovel to "Earth-Slasher" Master Plow

These tools will greatly improve your farming efficiency, so it's recommended to trade them in as soon as you unlock them.

This is a general overview of the Tillers faction reputation in WoW MoP Classic. While this faction's reputation is somewhat complex, gradually improving your farm will bring you a sense of accomplishment.
