• WoW MoP Classic Celestial Dungeon: What You Should Know Before Entering It?

  Following Mogu'Shan Vaults raid opening on July 31st, WoW MoP Classic will continue with Celestial Dungeon on August 12th! You can earn even more rewards by completing quests in this new, explorable environment.

  This dungeon will be available in WoW MoP Classic on August 12, 2025, at the same time as Mogu'shan Vault Celestial rewards. However, to enter Celestial Dungeon, you must reach item level 435.

  Once you reach this level, you can activate Celestial Protocol and queue up for Celestial Dungeon through the dungeon finder.

  How Do You Complete This Dungeon?

  Upon entering Celestial Dungeon, you'll find three NPCs, each of whom provides a different dungeon-specific buff. Each buff provides different combat effects, and you can choose one based on your class or build:

  Blessing of Yu'lon:

  • Increases Intelligence by 15%.
  • Increases Stamina by 5%.
  • Causes your damaging spells and abilities to inflict Jadefire, burning enemies for 20,000 points over 10 seconds and increasing their magic damage taken by 5%. This effect triggers every 4 seconds and stacks up to 5 times.

  Blessing of Niuzao:

  • Increases Stamina by 20%.
  • Increases Strength, Agility, and Intelligence by 10%.

  Blessing of Chi-Ji:

  • Increases Intelligence and Stamina by 10%.
  • When you use healing spells and abilities, you buff your allies, increasing their movement speed by 50% and restoring 30,000 Health. Additionally, you inflict 30,000 Fire damage to nearby enemies every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.

  Completing All Daily Quests

  A Celestial is more of a "mode" than a regular dungeon. It doesn't offer its own dungeon content. Instead, after you gain the buff, you earn rewards by completing the daily quests it grants. These quests are distributed across various specific dungeons:

  • A Celestial Challenge: Yan-zhu the Uncasked - Stormstout Brewery
  • A Celestial Challenge: Sha of Doubt - Temple of the Jade Serpent
  • A Celestial Challenge: Sha of Hatred - Shado-Pan Monastery

  Completing Quest The Strength Of One's Foes

  During Phase 1, in addition to daily quests, Celestial Dungeon also allows you to complete the quest The Strength of One's Foes. This quest requires you to earn 10 Sigils of Power and 10 Sigils of Wisdom by killing bosses in daily quest dungeons and Mogu'shan Vaults.

  Theramore's Fall Scenario

  As a pre-patch scenario, Theramore's Fall should be your first and most important opportunity to familiarize yourself with the mechanics. It will provide you with a basic understanding of how the scenario works and provide a preview of the overall storyline.

  Due to the pre-patch level restriction, Theramore's Fall differs from other scenarios in that you can enter it when you just reach level 85. Furthermore, your faction determines the scenario's content:

  How Do You Complete This Scenario?

  The journey from creating a character to maxing it out is a fun but lengthy one. When you finally complete that achievement and look at your flattened experience bar, you think, "Oh, that's it! It's over! Time to move on to another game.” But wait, are you really sure you've experienced most of the game?

  Your gear isn't quite up to par, your pet isn't maxed out, and you haven't completed that heroic raid yet. And so on and so forth—there's so much more to explore in every corner of Azeroth. This is an MMORPG; even at max level, the game is just beginning.

  

  1. Talents And Glyphs

  Windwalker Monk

  While this class offers impressive damage output, its strengths and weaknesses are so pronounced that it ultimately remains in A-Tier category. While Windwalker Monk can deal cleave damage with Rushing Jade Wind, Storm, Earth, and Fire clones, it lacks utility.

  Retribution Paladin

  Retribution Paladin is somewhat similar to Arms Warrior, but it focuses more on providing pure defensive capabilities in combat through its dual Hand of Sacrifice and Hand of Protection abilities.

  Additionally, the class’s Clemency and Devotion Auras provide magic damage reduction to the group, while also providing reliable single-target burst DPS. Retribution Paladin’s only drawback is its lack of significant cleave damage.

  Elemental & Enhancement Shaman

  Both specializations provide offensive buffs to their team through Stormlash Totem and defensive benefits from Ancestral Guidance. Elemental Shamans can also transition to a healing role as needed without completely changing their gear.

  

  Balance Druid

  Aside from Elemental Shaman, Balance Druid is another class that can play a healing role in A-Tier DPS. Its skills like Stampeding Roar, Heart of the Wild, and Tranquility all provide healing, while Bear Form also serves as a utility skill for handling emergencies in combat.

  Subtlety Rogue

  This class has made it to A-Tier thanks to its strong single-target damage output. Smoke Bomb and Tricks of the Trade provide additional utility, while Feint allows for consistent damage in raids.

  Other Classes

  All classes in this subtype offer similar damage output capabilities and generally offer average utility. If you choose these, simply focus on building on your reliable skills:

  • Arcane Mage
  • Frost Mage

  B-Tier

  While DPS of the characters in this tier can’t compare to higher-tier characters, they can still be effective in special team fights by synergizing with teammates.

  Frost Death Knights

  In every way, this specialization is more of an alternative to Unholy Death Knight. Both offer reliable damage output and utility, but Frost Death Knight’s is ultimately less effective. If you’re not a fan of Unholy playstyle, you might want to give this class a try.

  Other Classes

  Feral Druids can fulfill a similar role to Balance Druids in suitable scenarios. Demonology Warlock is your only choice if you don’t like the other Warlock specializations. Assassination and Combat Rogues offer decent damage output.

  In addition to the above specializations, there are several DPS classes not included in this ranking. Honestly, their performance in Phase 1 PvE combat is so mediocre that they don’t warrant separate tiers.

  Of course, if you’re drawn to these DPS classes and don’t care about combat benefits, you can play them as long as your teammates are willing - in Azeroth, you’re always free!

• WoW MoP Classic 85-90 Leveling Route: How To Complete This Final Step?

  As you know, the maximum character level in MoP Classic is 90. Reaching that maximum level as quickly as possible is your primary focus in the early stages of the game, as it allows you to unlock more content and become more powerful.

  We’ve previously covered general leveling tips, but you’ll find that leveling from 1 to 85 isn’t particularly challenging. The 85-90 stage is the real test—as leveling slows down, you’ll need to develop more challenging battle plans.

  For this reason, this time, we’ll focus on the 85-90 leveling route to minimize your leveling hurdles.

  

  Strive To Complete All Dungeons

  While the popular theory is that focusing on dungeon farming after reaching level 85 may result in significantly slower leveling process than completing quests, this is a rough guide and ignores the specifics of each dungeon.

  In fact, if you fully explore every dungeon and complete it at least once, you can still earn enough XP, as well as WoW MoP Classic gold and gear rewards, through the numerous onetime quests.

  In addition, when queuing for dungeons, you should use the randomized dungeon finder instead of the specific queue, as this also rewards you with a good amount of XP. If you end up in a repeat dungeon you don’t like, you can always leave and continue with other quests.

  At least until level 85-86, Temple of the Jade Serpent and Stormstout Brewery dungeons remain excellent XP farming spots, especially if you’re an experienced tank player and playing with a five-person party.

  Both dungeons also offer 410 item-level gear as a reward, giving you significant stat boosts. While you can also obtain powerful gear from new vendors after entering The Jade Forest, it doesn’t appear until about halfway through the questline.

  This XP earning method is actually applicable to all levels from 1 to 90. The only drawback is that Darkmoon Island only opens every two weeks, making it difficult to utilize constantly.

  Take The Jade Forest, for example. Although it’s a high-level zone at level 85-90, some of its questing hubs feature extensive role-playing quests during the storyline. While interesting from a story perspective, XP earned is minimal.

  In contrast, Tian Monastery, located in the northern part of The Jade Forest, is a good questing hub. While relatively isolated, once you learn to fly, it’s easily accessible and earns XP by completing quests.

  

  Farming Treasures And Rares

  WoW Classic MoP’s zones are rich in treasures and rare monsters, and farming them also yields a significant amount of XP. While you can only collect each treasure once, most treasures have instant respawn timers, so other players’ farming doesn’t affect yours.

  However, some treasures are exceptionally rare and have long respawned times, so once you find them, you might have to defeat other players who have also discovered them in PvP to claim them.

  You can actually improve your treasure farming efficiency by downloading a plugin called HandyNotes, which displays the locations of all treasures on the map. Another plugin, RareScanner, shows the locations of all rare monsters you might encounter.

  Because rares spawn more slowly than treasure, you might not find many during leveling 85-90, but if you do encounter them, it’s worth it, even if you have to go out of your way to kill them. Rare monsters are typically marked with a star icon on the minimap.
