  Secrets of the Heartgem quest itself unlocks as you progress through the main storyline and is definitely worth the detour. If you've reached level 60 and have made sufficient progress in the main quest, you'll unlock this quest northeast of Brimstone Sands.

  But as we mentioned before, it's not a very long quest, and the rewards are well worth it.
