What to do after Reaching Max Level in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 1? Don't Let the Chaos Overwhelm You!

Although only two days have passed since the release of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 1, some eager and dedicated players have already reached or are about to reach level 70!
While achieving this initial goal may have taken considerable effort, it's only the first step in your TBC Classic Anniversary journey. You must immediately begin planning your daily activities after reaching max level.
If you're unsure what to do with the abundance of new content in Phase 1, don't worry, we'll provide a detailed checklist to help you progress smoothly!

Mastering new abilities
After reaching level 70, perhaps as a reward and to help you cope with the more challenging Outland content, regardless of your class, you can learn new spell ranks from your respective trainers to increase your spell damage or healing.
Furthermore, you can upgrade your talents to a deeper level and find specific trainers to learn and master flying skills. Notably, Druid players can start learning to fly at level 68 and can fly without a mount.
Choosing between Aldor or Scryer
Aldor and Scryer are two opposing factions in Shattrath City in TBC Classic Anniversary. You must choose one to join, which determines how you earn reputation and what reputation rewards you can obtain.
To do this, you need to complete City of Light quest first, then follow Khadgar's instructions and his servant to complete the subsequent steps and choose a faction to join. You can remain neutral, but you won't be able to enjoy many benefits, so it's not recommended.
Besides exclusive rewards, quests, and strongholds, both Aldor and Scryer have their own quartermasters where you can consume WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold or special tokens to exchange for specific items from them.
After determining which faction you want to support and starting to earn reputation points by completing quests, remember to frequently check your faction reputation level in the reputation interface to acquire rarer items through unlockable trades.
These items mostly have multiple sockets, suitable for PvE gameplay, as you can socket the necessary gems to enhance the overall strength of your gear, allowing you to enter raids faster after they launch on February 19th.
Completing Attunement system requirements
This system is a disguised prerequisite unlock mechanism for hero dungeons and raids. You must complete specific tasks or obtain designated items according to its requirements to unlock the content you truly want to play.
During Phase 1, the main content you need to unlock through Attunement system is Karazhan raid, which will open on February 19th. To do this, you need to complete the following:
- Complete Archmage Alturus quests.
- Explore Mechanar and Botanica dungeons, kill the relevant bosses, and obtain Arcatraz Key.
- Explore Shadow Labyrinth, Steamvault, and The Arcatraz dungeons and kill the relevant bosses to obtain three key fragments.
- Complete Hero of the Brood and The Master's Touch quests to obtain The Master's Key, a crucial item for unlocking Karazhan raid.
Continue farming gold
Although the opening of Phase 1 means more sources of gold, the demand is also increasing, so you must continue farming gold to trade for the materials or gear you need at any time.
Low-level quests in all newly opened areas are a good option. Although the gold rewards are not large, they are easy and quick to complete. In addition, the game will reward you with a large amount of extra gold after your character reaches the maximum level.
Afterward, we recommend using this gold to acquire new gear from the auction house to progress faster in later dungeons, such as weapons that increase kill speed.
Improving your professions
Professions are not only a way to earn more gold or improve item gathering efficiency in TBC Classic Anniversary, but also a core part of your character's ability system, so their selection and improvement are crucial.
Generally, each class has the most suitable professions, or you can decide based on your specialization options. For example, casters are suitable for Tailoring or Enchanting, while tank players would be better off choosing Engineering or Blacksmithing.
More importantly, after determining your professions, you must improve their levels by completing specific tasks and frequently using your profession skills, so that the skill effects can be continuously enhanced.
Don't neglect PvP mode
The release of more dungeons and raids may keep you engrossed in PvE gameplay for a while, but don't neglect PvP, especially since Arena Season 1 will be launching soon.
To prepare, you should head to the battlegrounds to farm honor and battleground tokens, and then use them to exchange for level 70 rare and epic PvP gear to gain the resilience attribute they provide.
In addition, after the arena opens, matches will be held weekly, and participating will earn you arena points. These points can be exchanged for epic PvP gear, which is very effective in combat.
Farming in heroic dungeons
After earning reputation points by completing regular dungeons or quests and reaching the revered reputation level, you'll have the opportunity to challenge Heroic Mode dungeons. While they are more difficult, they drop better loot.
Furthermore, completing heroic dungeons will earn you a special currency, Badges of Justice, which can then be used to exchange for more advanced gear from vendors in Shattrath City, further enhancing your character's abilities.
The above is a list of tasks we've compiled for you to do after reaching max level in Phase 1. If you're unsure of your next steps, this information should be helpful! We wish you all the best in Outland!
