Torchlight Infinite SS9 Arrow Einherjar Strength-Stacker: How To Complete This Powerful Endgame Build?

Torchlight Infinite SS9 Outlaw's endgame mode introduces new crime-themed gameplay, allowing players to earn increased rewards by participating in high-stakes Carjack missions, Crime Ratings, and Black Market Bounties.
Additionally, the new season introduces several changes, including a series of Hero Trait reworks, loot filter upgrades, a new skill system, and improved endgame loot. Therefore, now is the perfect time to tackle Outlaw's endgame!
However, a good build is essential for successfully advancing through the endgame. Here, we've chosen Arrow Einherjar Strength-Stacker, whose powerful damage output will greatly enhance our endgame efforts.
This is essentially a Sentinel skill, but its mechanics are more similar to Path of Exile's Mirage Archer - simply a Sentry system that stays with you.
It's worth noting that this build is very expensive and not suitable for the early game. At first, it might seem ridiculously expensive, especially when our Mind Control build could be far more effective with a much smaller Torchlight Infinite Currency budget.
The problem is, in this game, you need a similar item setup to fully utilize this build. Therefore, it's more geared towards Deepspace than running a regular dungeon.
Arrow Einherjar Build Skills
Now, let's take a look at how this build works.
Obviously, the entire build revolves around Einherjar, which acts a bit like a regular Sentinel skill - you place it down and it deals damage.
Additionally, Arrow Einherjar skill lets you fire arrows like a totem, allowing you to summon an arrow-shooting sentry. This skill is limited to bows and crossbows and scales with Dexterity.
Of course, all of this revolves around the final support skill - Fellowship. This skill buffs sentries deployed by supported skills, increasing their damage, tracking range, and duration, while also reducing their cast frequency. More importantly, it also allows Sentry to follow the player, dealing damage at any time.
So, we've placed some totems here so that whenever I move them, they're ready to fire. We also have an automated system that repositions them every 10 meters, so we can achieve full-screen clears without pressing any buttons.
If you put them on your back and use Fellowship, these sentries will follow you. In Torchlight Infinite, there's something called tracking range, and you can get up to 50% tracking range on the gloves.
This build has a tracking range of one and a half screens, meaning that if they're tracking an enemy around the corner, they'll already be firing. This mechanic makes it much easier to challenge boss arenas, as they'll sometimes be firing before the enemy even spawns.
Strength Stacking vs Dexterity Stacking
Next, you might be wondering why this build prioritizes Strength stacking over Dexterity stacking. It's simple: while Dexterity stacking provides more damage than Strength stacking, it doesn't increase defense as much.
The life and armor boosts from stacking Strength are crucial, as many classes focus on dealing a lot of damage first, then working on defense before finally reaching Deepspace. Without this skill built into the character, this becomes difficult to achieve. Even Mind Control builds present the same problem.
How To Improve Stats And Damage?
There are a few different passive tree boosts that can improve stats, and while we haven't used them in this build yet, we can get them with Divinity Slates.
For example, every 24 points of Strength increases armor by 1%. Every 20 points of Strength increases fire damage by 1%, and every 5 points of Strength increases maximum life by 1.
On top of that, we get +1% damage per 27 stats from Priceless Amulet and all stats and strength from Priceless gear. Our survivability is essentially the same all the time.
Another thing you can do now is swap Fellowship for Quick Advancement when targeting a single target, and then swap your Blurry Steps for Aim, which can significantly increase your single-target damage. Quick Advancement essentially negates Mirage Archer stats, but allows for more stacking totems, which essentially means more damage.

Talent Tree
As for the talent tree, let's quickly go over some of the nodes you should be focusing on.
First up is Shared Fate, added in SS9. This essentially acts as a Sentry automation mechanic. When there's no Sentry within 10 meters, your Sentry's main ability triggers every 1 second, meaning you don't need to spend extra Torchlight Infinite Flame Elementium on an Activation Medium. This talent is especially useful for builds that rely on Sentry, allowing for constant deployment and area control.
Another crucial talent is Co-Resonance, a blending on the belt. You can blend Oasis and Co-Resonance together so that your attack and cast speed actually work with your Sentry. Without this attribute, you'll essentially deal no damage, and you'll have to increase your Cast Frequency for Sentries.
Next up is Dress Licker, which converts 20% of incoming physical damage into fire damage, which is really good. This slightly defensive talent can significantly boost your survivability, but it's likely overlooked entirely in many hero talent trees.
Archery Bond node on the skill tree is also very useful, as it grants Sentry bonuses to attack speed and projectile velocity, which can be further enhanced by stacking Strength.
As for Arrow Einherjar ultimate skill setup, all I can tell you is that if you have the secondary skills on your primary, upgrade them to five stars here. Your upgraded skill means you'll deal 20% more damage per secondary skill. Yes, we didn't do anything special; we've increased our damage by 44% overall just by upgrading these sub-skills.
But in terms of endgame mapping, that's what you're aiming for. But the jump from a normal dungeon to Deepspace is quite profound. If you want to farm Deepspace, you'll need to invest more FE to upgrade these talents to feel more comfortable.
Overall, this Arrow Einherjar build is quite good in my opinion. If you're a Strength-Stack fan and are adept at utilizing Sentry mechanic to boost your damage output, this playstyle is definitely for you! However, as we mentioned before, this build is quite expensive and requires a significant investment of gear and resources to achieve optimal results. See you next time!
