MLB The Show 26 Ultimate God Squad Guide: Best Players at Every Position & Legend Difficulty Analysis
Players, do you know how to build a god squad in MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty? Especially on Legendary difficulty, a truly top-tier team is one whose lineup performs exceptionally well.
A top-tier baseball roster needs to consider its effectiveness in high-level games, overall card stats, and actual feel. Based on these considerations, the following MLB 26 players for each position can make your roster a god squad.
Catcher
While defensive ability is crucial for a catcher, in MLB The Show 26, because of high steal rates and the difficulty of runners drawing fouls, arm strength isn't as decisive as it used to be.
Victor Martinez
While Victor Martinez's primary position isn't catcher, his hitting ability and power attributes are so outstanding that he's the best choice for catcher and can also play first base.
If you've already acquired Victor Martinez's card, he should definitely be a regular starter in your lineup.

Cole Carrigg
Cole Carrigg is another excellent choice for a makeshift catcher. This isn't just because of his 99 Steal and 93 Speed, but also his excellent swing and versatility, making him suitable for almost any defensive position. This card should definitely have a place in most players' lineups.
Carlos Santana
Carlos Santana is another very reliable catcher option. While his right-side contact stat needs mods to improve, once upgraded, combined with his excellent power and clutch hitting ability, Carlos Santana is a truly reliable all-around catcher at bat.
First Baseman
Victor Martinez is undoubtedly the most dominant player at first base, but if you put him at catcher, then the following players would be the best additions to the first base position.
Albert Pujols
Have you tried playing Albert Pujols as first baseman? Once you try it, you'll find that Albert Pujols' top-notch swing and consistency make him the perfect first baseman.
His excellent contact and clutch hitting ability, combined with his superb swing, means that even though Albert Pujols isn't a pull-type hitter, it doesn't diminish his dominance in that position.
Freddie Freeman
It's important to understand that there are very few high-quality left-handed hitters in the current MLB 26 game environment, so Freddie Freeman, as a left-handed hitter, now has special strategic value.
When so many top cards are right-handed hitters, adding a left-handed hitter like Freddie Freeman effectively balances your batting lineup.
Furthermore, Freddie Freeman is available for free, so it's no exaggeration to say he's part of a god-tier lineup.
Second Baseman
In MLB The Show 26, versatile players with both speed and contact are the mainstream second baseman.
Ketel Marte
No one should question Ketel Marte playing second base, right? Ketel Marte has excellent contact stats on both sides, and his baserunning speed is also quite good.
If you equip Ketel Marte with contact and speed mods to further improve his right-side contact stats, while maintaining his 91 speed and excellent defensive abilities, then Ketel Marte will be a flawless card in actual use.
Willie Castro
While the lack of a Breaking Ball Hitter is a drawback for Willie Castro, his First Pitch Hitter and versatility, capable of playing almost any outfield position, make him an extremely adaptable piece of the lineup.
Shortstop
Players with physical and defensive advantages can still dominate the shortstop position in MLB 26.
Elly De La Cruz
His 6-foot-5 height, combined with his unique catching animation, gives him a natural advantage on defense.
Elly De La Cruz's speed and tackling ability make him invincible on both offense and defense, and this card still deserves a starting position.
Troy Tulowitzki
As a top-tier card worth 3 million MLB 26 stubs, Troy Tulowitzki's performance at the shortstop position is truly formidable. He's also a solid center fielder. Having Troy Tulowitzki in your lineup truly justifies the claim of a god-tier team.
Third Baseman
The third baseman position is arguably one of the most controversial in MLB 26, requiring players to choose between a powerful left-handed hitter and extreme power.
Rafael Devers
Rafael Devers consistently maintains a batting average above .400. While his power stats against right-handed pitchers appear to be only 85 and 100, his extreme swing and unique hitting form make him feel like he has 125 power on both sides in actual gameplay.
With Rafael Devers on your team, you can proudly say your third base position is unbeatable.
Chipper Jones
Chipper Jones is also a top-tier third baseman option, effective in 99% of lineups.
As a switch-hitter, Chipper Jones' value is even more pronounced in MLB 26, and he's now significantly cheaper than when he was first introduced. His contact and power stats of around 110 will keep him competitive for a long time.
Outfielders
Outfield selection in MLB The Show 26 requires comprehensive consideration of speed, defense, and offensive output.
Chone Figgins (Outfield)
While Chone Figgins' swing is a love-hate relationship, his speed is a huge advantage in bases and outfield defense.
Chone Figgins moves like he's flying in the outfield, and his 70 power hits far exceed expectations.
Byron Buxton (Center Field)
Byron Buxton, as one of the top choices for center field, needs contact mods to compensate for his 82 right-side contact rating. His 87 clutch ability isn't ideal either, but he has one of the best swings in the game and remains one of the most popular cards in MLB history.
Braden Montgomery (Right Field)
Braden Montgomery is a recently released free card. With his 99 arm strength, excellent power, and contact rating, he can be part of your best lineup.
If you build your lineup using the best players for each position recommended above, then congratulations on having god squad in MLB The Show 26! Wait and see how much this team will benefit you!

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 Powerful Off‑Meta Choices | Wipe Screens Without Breaking Bank
The damage output of the meta builds in Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 is nothing short of astounding, yet the competition for the necessary currency to craft them has reached such a fever pitch that the costs are prohibitive for most players.
But in reality, a host of powerful off-meta builds deliver equally impressive damage while flying under the radar. Because they attract less competition, you can put together these setups that balance strength and sheer enjoyment without breaking your reserves.

Here are the 5 off-meta Builds:
- Whirlwind Lance Gemling Legionnaire
- Sunder Warrior
- Earthshatter Gemling Legionnaire
- Tempest Flurry Monk
- Doom Blast Gemling Legionnaire
Whirlwind Lance Gemling Legionnaire
Whirlwind Lance was long dismissed as an underperforming skill. Its mechanic involves launching several cyclone projectiles that trigger a Collapse effect when your character dashes into them, with a maximum of six cyclones active at once. However, in Runes of Aldur League, its potential transforms entirely.
Gemling Legionnaire's ascendancy provides a tremendous boost to skill quality, and once Whirlwind Lance's quality is maxed out, each cyclone phase gains over 80% more damage.
Taming Prismatic Ring, introduced in this POE 2 Patch 0.5.0, lets your character benefit from all elemental ground effects simultaneously, which further amplifies the synergy of the entire setup.
Moreover, quality also converts a substantial portion of damage into extra elemental damage, so this build derives roughly 100% increased damage from quality alone; stacking that with the innate 50% bonus from ground effects yields an enormous overall enhancement.
Sunder Warrior
If you prefer to wade into combat and smash everything without worrying about elaborate positioning, then Sunder Warrior offers a supremely satisfying experience. This build boasts over 200,000 effective HP, allowing you to ignore the majority of encounter mechanics.
Clearing maps revolves around Sunder itself, as a single heavy strike can obliterate nearly half the screen's worth of monsters. Boneshatter serves as a mobility tool, while Harbinger of Madness skill shreds the armour of surrounding foes, letting Sunder directly capitalise on its massive bonus against armoured targets and simultaneously generating endurance charges for Ancestral Cry.
Against bosses, you switch to Earthshatter, relying on aftershocks, Branching Fissures skill, and Splitting Ground notable to achieve multiple shotgunning hits that instantly demolish single targets. This makes it one of the strongest single-target damage dealers currently available.
Earthshatter Gemling Legionnaire
Gemling Legionnaire's alternate quality simultaneously amplifies both the spike damage and the aftershock chance of Earthshatter, while Cast on Elemental Ailment automatically generates Frost Walls during combat. Once those walls shatter, you gain a hefty chunk of bonus cold damage, enough for Earthshatter to instantly freeze and pulverise entire packs of monsters.
As soon as Herald of Ice buff activates, a single explosion rapidly cascades into twenty chain reactions, and the vast majority of foes are destroyed on the spot.
This build uses Whirling Slash as its primary movement skill, which becomes extremely fast with quality investment and includes a knockback effect that lets you plough through crowds without getting body-blocked. On the defensive side, the combination of skill scaling and Gemling Legionnaire's attribute bonuses grants exceptionally high armour values.
The core weapon for this build requires roughly 1 Divine Orb to tackle the hardest content, and the entire setup already performs at an overwhelming level with low to medium investment, offering excellent value for its cost.If you want to push its power further, you can buy PoE2 currency at IGGM to increase your investment.
Tempest Flurry Monk
The primary skills for this build are Whirling Assault, Staggering Palm, and Tempest Flurry. It is exceptionally friendly to budget-conscious players, since its gear requirements remain modest while still offering formidable clear speed and very strong survivability. Higher-end equipment raises its ceiling considerably, but the entry barrier is extremely low.
Tempest Flurry continuously launches projectiles as you attack, and with extreme attack speed scaling, the number of projectiles on screen quickly becomes overwhelming. Once Herald of Thunder buff triggers, lightning chains relentlessly between monster packs, rapidly clearing maps on its own.
Against bosses, Tempest Bell takes centre stage: after placing the bell at a mighty foe's feet and continuing your assault, the bell's reverberations, combo hits, and bonus lightning damage overlap multiple times. Meanwhile, the accumulated stun buildup keeps the boss locked in a perpetual stagger state, so even if you cannot achieve a swift kill, it poses virtually no threat throughout the fight.
If you wish to invest more in these builds and push their limits, you can participate in PoE 2 currency giveaway by IGGM on Discord; winners will receive a large amount of currency for free.
Doom Blast Gemling Legionnaire
This build exploits Spell Cascade in tandem with Doedre's Undoing Support to continuously overwrite your own self-cast Despair curses, forcing them to expire immediately and thereby triggering cascading Doom Blast explosions. Each cast produces multiple overlapping blasts.
Trickster's Shard Support proves critical for this configuration: although its tooltip states that the supported skill deals 50% less damage, that penalty applies only to the generated simulacra and not to your character. Those simulacra cast Despair in sync with you, increasing the frequency of curse applications and consequently generating even more Doom Blast procs.
Gemling Legionnaire supplies massive skill levels, quality bonuses, and sufficient cast speed to perfectly align with Doom Blast's internal cooldown threshold. Defensively, the build relies on a towering energy shield system, making it notably tanky as well.
These are just a few of the off-meta yet exceptionally potent builds available in PoE 2 Patch 0.5.0. They require only modest investment to deliver thrilling gameplay, so if you find yourself growing weary of your current setup, they offer a refreshing change of pace.

Diablo 4 Season 14 War Plans Complete Activity Guide | Node Choices for Every Mode
In Diablo 4 Season 14, War Plans system remains your top priority, regardless of what content you prefer to farm. No matter your chosen activity, you must align your War Plans nodes accordingly; otherwise, your overall returns will suffer a noticeable decline.
If you are looking to maximize the efficiency of acquiring gear, materials, and experience, the following recommendations outline the most effective nodes for each major game mode during Season of Death Awakening.

Season 14 War Plans Overview
Season 14 introduces Group War Plans, a feature that activates when you are in a party with other players. In this mode, you can opt to synchronize your War Plans with your teammates. The system will initiate a confirmation vote, and once all members agree, your War Plans tree will visually match that of your allies.
However, this synchronization does not automatically replicate the specific nodes you have already selected. Your group will still need to communicate internally about each member's assigned route. Additionally, every Refresh is well worth performing, because there is a chance to roll nodes of Mythic quality.
Tree of Whispers
Tree of Whispers operates on a straightforward loop: complete Whisper bounties to collect Grim Favors. Once you have accumulated ten Favors, head to Raven to turn them in. The experience you gain from this turn-in depends on your character's level at the time of completing Whispers, and this experience gradually raises your Tree of Whispers rank.
Defeating any world boss grants five Grim Favors, even without opening the subsequent chest. Likewise, traveling to the PvP zone and killing Seedthing Abomination also yields 5 Favors upon its defeat.
Recommended Path
The middle route is the most versatile choice. If you are after materials, you can select nodes like Simple Gift and Material Wealth. For leveling purposes, Wisdom of Whispers is a strong option, though taking it means you cannot also choose Material Wealth.
At the very bottom of the middle path lies Resplendent Favors. Its benefit is valuable only when you need to craft specific mythic gear, but after that, its utility fades. You can decide whether to invest in it based on your personal needs.
If you intend to farm Exposed Roots, then consider the three nodes on the left side. By placing root tendrils, you can obtain various materials across different zones. This serves as a practical supplementary method and is well worth the farming effort.
Nightmare Dungeons
In Season 14, Nightmare Dungeons offer substantial War Plans experience. The higher your Torment tier, the more War Plans experience you will earn.
One critical note: within Escalating Nightmares, Astaroth is exceptionally powerful and extremely durable. For your first attempt, it is advisable to lower your Torment level by two steps to test your survivability and avoid being quickly overwhelmed.
Recommended Path
The middle route is advisable because it increases your chances of obtaining desired rewards:
- Dread Revival: The final boss of the dungeon has a chance to resurrect, effectively granting you an extra loot drop.
- Recurring Nightmare: After defeating the boss, there is a probability that Escalation Sigils will drop.
- Branching Pathways: Upon completing each dungeon floor, three portal options appear. More choices mean a higher likelihood of finding the rewards you seek, such as gems or Diablo 4 gold.
The left route focuses on shrines; apart from generating additional enemies, it also provides bonus rewards after finishing the dungeon. Meanwhile, the right-side nodes, which involve goblins, are generally more favorable than the shrine path.
Helltides
Helltides are the most rewarding mechanic in Season 14. Not only can you rapidly advance to Paragon 300, but you can also amass enormous quantities of gold and materials.
Within Helltides, Ruptures appear frequently. Alongside ordinary Ruptures, there is a chance for Surging Ruptures to spawn, which are larger in scale and may generate a Realmwalker. The more monsters you slay, the longer a Rupture persists. Ruptures can contain chests, goblins, and other rewards, all of which drop before the event ends.
Furthermore, killing monsters inside Helltide Ruptures grants reputation with Bounty Board, which in turn unlocks the Mystery Greater Archetype Cache. This cache drops a large quantity of items, including gear that is guaranteed to be Ancestral quality along with cube materials.
Recommended Path
Start by taking Hellmouth route, then proceed to Wither and Rot. This combination ensures that Hellwryms within Helltide will always produce Maggots (which grant substantial XP) and also increases Monster Power by +1. The Wither and Rot nodes additionally allow you to encounter Lair Bosses during Helltide.
After that, you can branch to the right toward Meat Brothers. When your Threat Meter depletes, it triggers a fight against Butchered Brothers. Defeating them gives a chance to obtain Profane Mindcages.
Hellwryms have fixed potential spawn points in each Helltide zone. It is recommended to keep your Threat Meter at least half-full, because worm appearances become noticeably more frequent once your threat exceeds that threshold.
The Undercity
In Season 14, Mythic Tribute of Armaments yields Mythic items at roughly a 30% rate, which is a reasonably favorable probability. Therefore, farming Mythic Tributes is worthwhile, though you should not expect a consistent output of three to five mythics per run.
Recommended Path
On the right side, you can select Jade Epiphany node to accelerate leveling and gain +1 Monster Power. Then switch to the left side and work your way down to Trials and Tributes. This route gives you a chance, when activating Beacons, to trigger a Portal Prankster, which increases both the number of chests and the total loot volume.
Lair Boss
Lair Bosses remain one of the best sources for Mythic items in Season 14.
Recommended Path
First, choose the leftmost nodes: Lair of Runes and Lair of Plenty. These two nodes provide an extra Horde Chest at the end of the boss fight, effectively doubling your rewards.
Keep in mind that the boss itself is at least one Torment tier above your current level, and War Plans further increase monster strength. Make sure your damage output is sufficient.
After that, move to the middle route and select Ultimate Nemesis. Upon defeating the boss, there is a chance that a portal will appear, lasting only 30 seconds. Be certain to carry at least five Superior Keys at all times; otherwise, you will not be able to open the chest inside.
Infernal Hordes
Infernal Hordes have received buffs in Season 14, making several nodes worth trying.
Recommended Path
On the left, you can allocate points to Exalted Council, Council Coffers, and Infernal Horde to unlock Chest of Talismans and Horde of Greater Equipment. If you prefer Chaos Waves, then the middle route is a better fit.
The Pits
The Pits in Season 14 mainly provide extra Glyph upgrade attempts, up to a maximum of nine, which is extremely helpful for advancing your Glyphs.
Recommended Path
Start from the left side and select Choron's Haste, Heart of the Stone, and Damned Thieves. As long as you meet certain conditions, these nodes grant additional Glyph upgrade chances. Afterward, you can proceed to the middle route, where several nodes also offer bonus upgrade attempts.
Diablo Season 14 War Plans nodes offer a rich variety of combinations. Feel free to adjust your selections flexibly based on your character's build, your immediate goals, and your overall combat strength.

Path of Exile Return of the Ancestors Herald Penance Brand Build Guide: Mechanics, Defense & Damage Explained
Return of the Ancestors event in Path of Exile Patch 3.28 is ongoing. During this event, most Ascendancy in the game have been replaced with special Ascendancy from Legacy of Phrecia. These Ascendancy classes will disappear after the event ends.
Therefore, these special Ascendancy classes bring about entirely new builds. One such build, centered around Herald, is Penance Brand Build. Through a sophisticated mechanic, it sacrifices some ease of use for an extremely high damage ceiling and survivability.
Next, I will introduce this build in detail.

Herald Class Role
Before introducing this build, you need to understand the special role of Herald.
Herald, as a special Ascendancy designed for Witch in PoE's Return of the Ancestors, has a very pure design philosophy: completely abandoning traditional Aura Skills and instead maximizing the potential of Herald Skills.
This means players can simultaneously activate multiple Herald Skills, such as Herald of Ash, Herald of Ice, and Herald of Thunder, with extremely low mana retention pressure. This allows players to deal very high damage.
In contrast, it offers a significantly different experience compared to Witch's standard Ascendancy class, Elementalist.
Elementalist class has an advantage: its buff skill, Elemental Conflux, provides consistent application of Ignite, Shock, and Chill, greatly facilitating map clearing.
However, Herald relies on kills to trigger Retribution talent to gain Elemental Conflux effect. When fighting single-target bosses, players may face the problem of not having Elemental Conflux effect available. This is one of Herald class's biggest disadvantages.
Core Mechanics
Having understood Herald's role, let's now introduce the core mechanics of Penance Brand Herald Build.
Mechanism Introduction
This build primarily utilizes a skill called Penance Brand of Dissipation. In Return of the Ancestors event in PoE Patch 3.28, you can obtain Transfigured Skill Gem for this skill through Divine Font in Labyrinth.
Unlike the regular Skill Gem, it doesn't detonate when fully charged. Instead, it accumulates energy as the brand is activated, expanding its range and increasing Hit and Ailment Damage on branded targets based on the energy stacks.
Additionally, this skill has a 50% Physical to Lightning base conversion, making it naturally suited for a lightning damage build. Igniting lightning deals massive damage.
So, how do you ignite Penance Brand that inflicts lightning damage?
The solution is to use the unique ring Stormfire. This ring allows the player to ignite their own Lightning Damage, the key to converting lightning damage into Ignite damage.
Since Penance Brand of Dissipation already provides 50% Physical to Lightning, combining it with other talents or support gems that also have Physical to Lightning properties will convert the remaining Physical damage into Lightning, further expanding the damage range.
Of course, other unique items with similar effects can also be used. If you lack such uniques, you can trade them with other players in-game using Currency.
Increasing Ignition Chance
However, Stormfire doesn't guarantee igniting lightning damage every time. To increase the success rate, players need to activate passive skills like Sealing Heat to increase the ignition chance.
Additionally, you'll need Support Gem Combustion, which not only increases the ignition chance but also reduces the enemy's fire resistance after igniting, making it easier to deal more damage with the next attack.
If the ignition chance is still not high enough, you can supplement it with other Notable Passive Skills.
Through the above methods, you can establish a stable ignition chance and maintain high damage.
Defensive Mechanics
In PoE, a good build isn't just good at offense, but also at defense. Fortunately, Penance Brand Herald build from Return of the Ancestors event exemplifies this.
Elemental Resistance
This build achieves 90% Maximum Elemental Resistances - crucial for mitigating high elemental damage in the game.
To achieve this level of defense, you need to wear the unique gear Melding of the Flesh and Aegis Aurora.
The core effect of Melding of the Flesh is to copy your character's highest resistance cap to the maximum resistance cap for all elements, but this directly lowers the overall resistance cap.
The core effect of Aegis Aurora is to provide a significant amount of Armor, while also providing +5% Maximum Cold Resistance.
Additionally, enhancing Herald of Ice further increases your Maximum Cold Resistance. Combined with various other resistance-boosting gear and scattered maximum resistance affixes from the talent tree, you can raise your Cold Resistance cap to 90%.
Increasing resistances requires a significant amount of Currency. If you lack Currency, you can join in IGGM PoE 1 and 2 Currency Giveaways on Discord, where we will randomly select participants to receive a large amount of Currency.
Once you raise your Cold Resistance cap to 90%, due to Melding of the Flesh, your other elemental resistance caps will also be raised to 90%, thus creating a solid elemental defense barrier.
Physical Damage Reduction
In addition to elemental defense, Future Guilt passive skill in Herald's Ascendancy provides a unique means of reducing physical damage.
Specifically, when you are affected by Herald of Purity, it provides an additional 15% physical damage reduction. This is extremely valuable damage reduction for spellcasters who lack armor stacking, effectively reducing the risk of instant death when facing heavy physical damage.
This concludes the detailed introduction to Penance Brand Herald Build in Return of the Ancestors event of Path of Exile Patch 3.28.
This class and this build are only available during the event, so if you're interested, go try it out!

NBA 2K27 Revolutionary Change: Tall Player Build Buff | Big Guy can Unlock Clamps Badge
With the release date of NBA 2K27 approaching (expected September 4), discussions about gameplay changes in the new game are heating up in the community. Recently, a rumor about player models has caused a huge stir in the community - it is claimed that 2K27 will comprehensively enhance the builds of all players, with tall players receiving unprecedented boosts. This article will analyze the core content of this rumor from multiple perspectives and, combined with the evolution of mechanics in previous 2K games, provide players with a forward-looking guide.
Core Change: Liberation of the Tall Player Build

According to the core argument of the leaked information, NBA 2K27 will significantly adjust the tall player build in the following aspects:
Dribble Animations Unlocked
In previous installments of the series, tall players were severely limited in their choice of animations such as Dribble Sigs and Hop Jumpers. It is rumored that NBA... NBA 2K27 will significantly loosen these restrictions—players 6'10" tall will be able to use dribbling animations previously only available to shorter players, and even 6'11" players may unlock animations at the 75 Ball Handle level.
Specifically, the following key changes are currently circulating in the community:
6'9" performed exceptionally well in 2K25 and 2K26, and 2K27 may grant 6'10" and even 6'11" builds equal or better animation privileges.
Dribble Sigs, which previously required 80 Ball Handle to unlock, may now be unlocked at 75, with a significantly increased number of animation options.
The expansion of the ProPLAY animation system is the technical basis for these changes. 2K26 added 1,500 dribbling animations, 1,100 Dribble Sigs, and 1,300 off-ball animations through ProPLAY. If NBA 2K27 continues this trend, it is technically entirely feasible for taller players to have more animation options.
Defense Badges Unlocked
Another change that has sparked heated discussion is the opening of top-tier defensive badges like Clamps to taller builds. For a long time, badges like Clamps have primarily targeted smaller defensive builds, putting taller players at a natural disadvantage on the perimeter.
One player complained, "Giannis is clearly one of the best defenders in the world, why can't I equip him with Clamps in the game?" This directly points to a long-standing contradiction in 2K series' mechanics - in reality, tall players like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaren Jackson Jr. can protect the rim and switch to defend the perimeter, but this cannot be replicated in the game.
If this adjustment is implemented, tall builds of 6'10" and above will gain Lockdown Defender-level defensive capabilities, truly achieving comprehensive defense from position 1 to position 5.
Quick First Step Threshold Adjustment
As the core badge for dribbling and penetration, the activation threshold for Quick First Step may also be lowered with height adjustments. This means tall players will no longer be “slow," but will be able to easily execute crossover dribbles and face-up drives, just like Wembanyama or Chet Holmgren in real life.
Controversy: Big Man Buff - Blessing or Curse?
Will It Recreate 2K15 Demigod?
Many veteran players in the community are comparing this change to Demigod in 2K15. The concept of a 7-foot Demigod, boasting exceptional stats and all-around abilities, was once considered god-tier, dominating almost all online modes.
However, other players clarified that the Demigod in 2K15 was actually a stat bug discovered late in the game (the last two months), and only about 1% of players actually possessed it. The claim that a "7-foot Demigod dominated the game" is entirely a misunderstanding. Therefore, the Tall Build buff in NBA 2K27 is more likely a measured enhancement than a complete return to the Demigod era.
What about the Short Builds?
This is the community's biggest concern - if tall players can shoot, dribble, defend, and rebound, what's the point of smaller guards?
Many players remain optimistic: "6'4" and “6'2" guards will always have value. They will still be prevalent in Pro-Am and Stage modes because the speed advantage and left-right dribbling agility of smaller players are irreplaceable by taller ones.
In fact, this ecosystem where different heights have their own strengths is a true reflection of the modern NBA - Wembanyama (7'4") can dribble and penetrate, but Stephen Curry (6'2") remains one of the most dangerous ball-handlers in the league. The two are not mutually exclusive.
In general, both tall and short builds have their place. You can pre-order NBA 2K27 MT from IGGM.com to unlock more players and experience the unique aspects of each model.
How should Players Prepare?
If Tall Build Buff is confirmed, player builds in NBA 2K27 will undergo a fundamental change. The 6'10"-7'0" Point Center may become the new meta.
The traditional 6'9" all-around forward may need a reassessment of its relative advantages. As for pure point guards of 6'2"-6'4", they still have value, but are no longer the only option.
In addition, it is recommended that you focus on these attributes directly related to unlocking Dribble Sigs and defensive badges when planning your players:
- Ball Handle
- Speed With Ball
- Perimeter Defense
- Steal
Recent rumors about buffs to Tall Builds in NBA 2K27 reflect 2K's ongoing exploration of the balance between game balance and realistic basketball. On the one hand, the increasing versatility of tall players in the modern NBA is indeed an undeniable trend; on the other hand, the game needs to ensure that builds of all heights have value and competitiveness. This diverse build ecosystem is perhaps the most anticipated aspect of 2K27.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Obducite Farming Guide: 20k+ Per Hour with Infinite Loop
In seasons prior to Diablo 4, Obducite was a crucial material for Masterwork gear. In the new Season 14, Obducite remains top-tier in importance. It has not been weakened by the change of season theme, but has been further consolidated by the core position of Masterworking in the endgame gameplay.
Players aiming for challenging pits or boss fights desperately want to stockpile Obducite to upgrade their gear and enhance their character's strength.
However, Season 14 has slightly adjusted the drop rates of several key acquisition methods, leaving many players accustomed to previous season farming strategies facing Obducite shortages. Therefore, we need to redesign the farming method for Obducite in Season 14.
Obducite Farming Strategy
First, to obtain Obducite, you can indeed complete the encounter in Horadric Strongroom, then unlock Grand Horadric Cache, and you'll see Obducite you've been longing for. Sounds simple, right? But the problem is that Horadric Strongroom, this secret room, isn't so easy to find.
We either have to rely on luck while farming Nightmare Dungeons to find a portal to a Horadric Strongroom, or we can only guarantee its spawn by using Nightmare Sigils with Horadric Strongroom affix.
Successfully completing a Horadric Strongroom will drop Escalation Sigils for Escalating Nightmares. Upgrading dungeons opened with these Sigils have a chance to encounter a Horadric Strongroom again.
You've noticed that Obducite farming can be a cycle. Our core strategy is to repeatedly and reliably enter this high-reward timed challenge using Nightmare Sigils with Horadric Strongroom affix, thus efficiently acquiring Obducite.

The entire Obducite farming cycle works like this: First, in Nightmare Dungeon, use Nightmare Sigils with Horadric Strongroom affix to clear Horadric Strongroom.
This process itself directly produces one to two thousand Obducites, but this is only one aspect of the dungeon's value. The more crucial benefit is Escalation Sigils, which have a high drop rate after clearing the dungeon.
The second step involves using the acquired Escalation Sigils to enter a special dungeon. Defeating the final boss not only provides a stable income of thousands of Obducites but also has a chance to drop Nightmare Sigils with Horadric Strongroom affix.
Therefore, players only need either type of Sigil to start this Obducite farming cycle without relying on external supplies. This is the most balanced mainstream farming method in Season 14 in terms of efficiency and sustainability.
Of course, if this cycle still doesn't meet your Obducite needs, you can buy Diablo 4 Obducite from IGGM.com to skip the tedious farming process!
The Importance of Team Play
First, if you can participate in Obducite farming in a four-person team, this is still a good way to improve efficiency.
The key is that each member of the team has an independent chance to drop Escalation Sigils after clearing Horadric Strongroom with the highest rating. This means that a successful Horadric Strongroom run can potentially generate multiple Escalation Sigils for the team, significantly expanding the pool of subsequent dungeons.
Similarly, after completing an upgraded dungeon and defeating the final boss, each member of the team also has an independent chance to obtain Nightmare Sigils with Horadric Strongroom affix.
Some players have tested this in a team run of Horadric Strongroom and accumulated a generous reward of up to 30,000 Obducite in about 70 minutes.
Emergency Strategies for Target Sigil Scarcity
It must be acknowledged that in Diablo 4, obtaining Nightmare Sigils with Horadric Strongroom affix involves a significant degree of randomness; not every player can successfully farm a sufficient number of target Sigils in a short period.
To address the Sigil shortage, the community has developed a very effective emergency solution: players can first craft a large number of regular Nightmare Sigils, then activate them one by one and enter the corresponding dungeons.
The key is to pay attention to whether a system notification about the appearance of a secret room pops up on the screen the moment you enter the dungeon. If it does, it means that Horadric Strongroom has appeared in your dungeon; if not, don't linger, exit the current dungeon and start the next Sigil.
While this method of mass-farming Sigils to explore is somewhat cumbersome, it provides another option if you are severely lacking in target affix Sigils, doesn't it?
Additional Explanation
Frankly, many players have reported that the overall difficulty of obtaining Obducite in Diablo 4 Season 14 is higher than in previous seasons, with some even feeling that the scarcity of Masterwork materials has severely hampered their gear upgrade progress.
This scarcity of Obducite may have amplified the reliance on efficient farming methods. This is precisely why the cycle around Horadric Strongroom and Escalation Sigils mentioned in this guide is particularly valuable.
Therefore, in the actual operation of farming Obducite in a loop, you might as well be patient and break the loop process into multiple short-term loops, rather than making yourself work continuously for a long time.
At the same time, players can make good use of the sorting and dismantling mechanism after batch crafting Nightmare Sigils to maintain a balance between basic material income and expenditure. This way, we can steadily advance our gear Masterworking progress in Season 14.
Don't be discouraged if you haven't farmed Obducite yet, as Diablo 4 Season 14 has only just begun. Try using the strategies in this guide to cycle through farming Obducite; you'll be satisfied!
