Diablo 4 Season 9 Evade Spiritborn Build Guide: You Can Level Up Fast With It! - Options Explained
Posted: Jul 14, 2025 Views: 44
Of all the classes available to players in Diablo 4, the Spiritborn, available exclusively in Vessel of Hatred DLC, is the most agile and flexible class, allowing for smooth, quick completion and leveling.
It’s unfortunate that D4 has nerfed Spiritborn to some degree every season since the first expansion was released last year. But in the active Season 9 Sins of the Horadrim, players can use new Horadric spells to enhance the capabilities of this class and its build for faster leveling.
According to feedback from the player community and players on social media, the current Evade Spiritborn build is one of the best leveling Spiritborn builds available in the game, so in this guide we will look at some of the options available for this build, including skills, gear, and Horadric spells.
However, the item and skill stats recommended here are subject to change based on patches and update notes released by the developers, so be sure to adjust them to fit your playstyle.
Active Skills
This isn’t the first time players have considered Evade Spiritborn build as a way to level up faster in the early season. It was previously popular in Season 7 and Season 8.
In the game’s early content, you can take advantage of his lightning-fast damage rate and movement speed to earn tons of Diablo 4 Gold and power up your build. It is still powerful in the late game content, and it can also be converted into a game style focused on looting.
The following are the recommended active skill options for you, as well as their required points and specific effectiveness.
- Accelerated Thunderspike (5/5): It’s primarily used to make enemies vulnerable and refresh Evade on Storm Feathers, which can be used as your normal attack skill.
- Measured Vortex (1/5): It can be used in conjunction with Concussive Stomp, a useful skill that can be used to gather enemies together for subsequent skills.
- Measured Soar (1/5): It allows you to dodge enemies, climb cliffs and cross gaps. It’s one of the most important skills you can have.
- Reinforced Counterattack (1/5): After it is activated, it can provide you with passive evasion that can resist all incoming attacks for a short period of time, and some critical damage bonus.
- Reinforced Concussive Stomp (1/5): It can help you gain a barrier that can be used to protect yourself and stun elite monsters and bosses. It is a very useful defensive skill.
- Exalted Hunter (5/5): It can cause high area damage and execute some enemies with low health, while also giving your Ferocity a little boost. So think of it as an extremely powerful ultimate technique.
In addition to the above skill options, you should also pay attention to Storm Feathers skill effect in Evade Spiritborn build, but it will only work if you have Eagle as your Spirit Hall and reach level 15.
However, if you use Thunderspike skill repeatedly to reset the cooldown of Evade, you will generally see a lot of Storm Feathers shooting at enemies after you Evade during combat at level 15.
You can also focus on frequent use of Evade by replacing Concussive Stomp skill with Armored Hide or Toxic Skin skills, so as to travel around the map faster and quickly complete the farming of loot and a lot of experience points.
By the way, Ravager is also a good skill option. The fire damage caused will also make many elite enemies and bosses unable to resist, so you can intersperse it with some offensive skills.
Passives
Compared to the attributes that need to be considered for active skills, the passive skills selected in Evade Spiritborn build are mainly focused on providing various damage buffs and additional dodge chance.
You can spend some D4 Gold to upgrade the following passives according to your own exploration requirements, and it is best to reach the highest level for all of them.
- Follow Through
- Mirage
- Unrestrained Power
- Apex
- Swift
- Brilliance
- Acceleration
- Vital Strikes
If you need to use this build directly against high-life elite monsters or bosses that are difficult to defeat, then you should upgrade Ultimate passives as much as possible, which will help you survive longer and achieve smoother victory.
Spirit Hall
I mentioned earlier when I was talking about active skills that you should have Eagle as one of your two Spirit Halls, but I recommend using it as your primary one. You not only gain Storm Feathers, but also gain increased critical chance for every 4 meters traveled.
As for secondary Spirit Halls, there is no exact recommendation, so you can choose one based on your preferences. However, try to stick to lightning damage and mobility buffs whenever possible.
Horadric Spells
Next up is a new build option in Diablo 4 Season 9: Horadric Spells. With this crafting system, you’ll also want to focus on improving your efficiency in gathering enemies and your ability to deal area damage.
To do this, you can use Thunderous Particle Infusion and bind Celestial Surge Catalyst to the Vortex for super damage that will deal AoE damage you need, which is good for clearing out early enemies like Horadric Storerooms and Infernal Hordes.
To increase the duration, replace Celestial Surge with Cosmic Anomaly. For Arcanas, just choose what you need. For example, if you need more survivability, Invigorating Helix and Volatile Crystal will be your best options.
Gear
Since Evade Spiritborn is a build focused on your leveling speed, it doesn’t require very many unique items or Legendary Aspects. But if you have enough Diablo 4 Gold, consider getting items that can improve your basic skills from inter-player trading or in-game vendors, such as:
- Aspect of Disobedience
- Aspect of the Moonrise
- Aspect of Adaptability
You can get a high yield from them to achieve a large amount of experience and loot farming. As for other gear, you can focus on finding those that can give you high buffs to the following attributes:
- Dexterity
- Cooldown Reduction
- Vulnerable Damage
- Crit Chance & Crit Damage
- Storm Feather Potency
Also, if you choose a weapon with a socket, you can add Topazes to further improve the damage of basic skills. Replace it with Emeralds in the mid-game to increase critical damage. Or place it on armor to give you some extra agility.
Players who are more focused on survivability can use Diamonds to fully upgrade all your attributes, and then choose to correspond rings and amulets based on the elements you need to resist.
Again, since this build is focused on leveling, rune options aren’t that important. But if you have more rune options, you can also use CirGar as your primary Runeword to increase your critical chance.
Cem Ritual rune is also a good rune to put in an Evade Spiritborn build, as it will provide a high buff to your evasion. Combine it with any invocation rune you need, and you’ll be invincible.
The above are some options you can currently use for fast leveling Evade Spiritborn builds in Diablo 4 Season 9. I hope you can complete the crafting of this build as soon as possible with the help of this guide, and use them to pass more levels and reach the level cap as soon as possible. I wish you a happy game!
