Dune Awakening 9 Early Stage Tips: What Aspects Should Be Paid Attention To?

As a survival MMORPG, after the player has experienced the initial plot, the game tutorial will teach you in detail how to adapt to survival on this planet step by step. You can learn how to get water, upgrade the base and make Dune Awakening items.
But the initial tutorial will not tell you all the tips. Some tips to improve efficiency and save time may take you a few hours to understand. But if you can know these tips in advance, then your early pioneering journey will undoubtedly become easier.
1. Unlock The Research Menu
Soon after you enter the game, a question will pop up, asking you to decide whether to unlock the research menu. New players may not know what it does. Its function is to let you know what items you can make.
Although it is recommended that you do not unlock the research menu by system, but you’d better choose to unlock the menu because it will be helpful for the initial exploration. It can know the items you need to make at the current stage and the recommended Dune Awakening items, so that you will not be at a loss when facing a pile of unfamiliar materials in the warehouse.
2. First Initial Base
The location of your first base has a big impact on the early game experience, because you need to follow the main story to travel back and forth between different areas. Choosing an area that is close to the quest location will save you a lot of time.
The recommended construction location is near the Imperial Testing Station No. 2, because the initial tutorial will require you to visit this location many times, and it is also the core location of this area. After you make your first sandbike, it is also convenient for you to go to nearby locations.
In addition, it is not recommended to build your first established base very large. Because according to the plot, the first base you build will be abandoned, and you will need to go to the next area to build a base.
If you plan to build another base, you can place your Sub-Fief Console in the north, which is closer to the important resource points in the next stage.
3. Prioritize The Main Quests
Some players like to complete the side quests they receive, but in Dune Awakening, it is recommended that you prioritize the main quests. Because they are both main quests and novice tutorials, following the main quests will unlock some important items, such as your first sandbike. Even if you can’t wait to explore these areas, at least you have to unlock transportation.
4. Climbing
On the desert planet of Arrakis, there are many towering rocks. They are not just obstacles, but many resources and even caves are hidden in them.
Grappling hook and The Emperor’s Wings are the mobility tools you need to unlock as soon as possible. They allow you to quickly climb and even climb over towering rocks. Grappling Hook is a Trooper skill. You can go to Griffin’s Reach Tradepost Location to find Trooper trainer Ghavouri to unlock Trooper skill tree. The location and materials of The Emperor’s Wings are also in Imperial Testing Station No. 2.
To have more airtime, you need to continue to upgrade Trooper’s passive skills to shorten the CD time of Grappling Hook, and you can use the anti-gravity field to offset the falling damage before you land.
5. The First Shipwreck
All Shipwreck areas in the game are PVP areas, except for the first shipwreck you encounter in the main story, The Wreck of the Alcyon. You can get Plasteel Microflora Fiber and Mechanical Parts here, even unique items. If you don’t want to participate in PVP, you’d better remember this location.
6. Resource Points
In the early game, you don’t need to worry about not collecting resources quickly enough, because the resource points regenerate quickly, so you can easily get enough resources. You only need to find 3-4 resource nodes near your base to meet your basic needs.
7. Don’t Need To Unlock All Research Trees
The technology on the research tree is very important for the player’s survival. From low-level to high-level, from basic materials to high-level items, they are all on the research tree. But for some low-level items, you don’t have to unlock the corresponding research. You can go to the nearby camp to kill enemies and loot them.
8. Inter Points
Inter Points are the key to improving the research tree. They are represented by green marks on the map. When you need them, you can go to the base and find them in the treasure chest.
It is not recommended to farm in the early stage. The best time to farm Inter Points is after you get a ornithopter.
9. Saving Loot
You will get a lot of loot as you play, but you may not use these items, which may cause you to have a stock crisis. It is recommended that you make more storage boxes to store these items, so that after you successfully make a Recycler, you can recycle a lot of resources. Or you can try to put them in the trading station and see if you can sell them in exchange for some Dune Awakening Solari.
These are some beginner tips in Dune Awakening. I hope they can help you survive the early survival stage and get advanced equipment and materials faster.
