  Version 6.5 release date

This version is scheduled to go live on April 8, 2026 (based on most time zones), marking the commencement of Phase 1. Specific key dates and times are listed below for your reference:

  • North America Server: April 7, 2026, 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Europe Server: April 8, 2026, 12:00 AM - 5:00 AM
  • Asia Server: April 8, 2026, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • TW, HK, MO Server: April 8, 2026, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Subsequently, Phase 2 will begin on April 28, immediately following the conclusion of Phase 1, and will run until May 19, at which point Version 6.5 will officially come to a close.

It is expected that the game will undergo several hours of maintenance prior to the start of both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Once maintenance is complete and you log back into the game, don't forget to claim your maintenance compensation rewards!

  New banners and characters

Luna VI Phase 1 will introduce a new 5-star character, Linnea, via Ya-hoho! Compendium banner. Her combat role is that of a premium Lunar-Crystallize support character, making her an excellent addition to Geo-centric teams.

As for Phase 1 rerun banner, players will have the opportunity to pull for the rerun 5-star character Chasca on Piercing Shot's Crimson Wake banner.

Notably, Version 6.5 Phase 2 will not feature the debut of any new characters; instead, it will consist solely of rerun banners for the returning 5-star characters Lauma and Nefer, titled Moonsong of the Groves and Temptation of the Crimson Sands, respectively.

Therefore, we highly recommend saving your Primogems for Phase 1 Ya-hoho! Compendium banner. After all, as the newest character, if you miss out on Linnea this time around, it will probably be a long wait before her rerun.

If you currently don't have enough Genesis Crystals to redeem Primogems, the quickest solution is to acquire Genshin Impact top up from IGGM. We offer bundles in various denominations, allowing you to mix and match to suit your needs!

  Chronicled Wish banner

This banner is a special event officially titled Fontaine Chronicled, scheduled to launch at some point during Version 6.5 update period.

This banner allows you to select one of five specific Fontaine characters via Chronicled Path. Once selected, your very first 5-star pull on this banner will have a 50% chance of being the character you chose. The available options include:

  • Emilie
  • Clorinde
  • Navia
  • Sigewinne
  • Lyney

If your initial 5-star pull fails to yield your designated character, you will earn 1 Fate Point. This Fate Point guarantees that the next 5-star character you pull will definitely be the one you previously designated.

Furthermore, to ensure you can unlock the full potential of your newly acquired Fontaine characters, Genshin Impact will simultaneously launch a corresponding Weapon Banner; Fate Point mechanism applies to this banner as well.

  More on Linnea

This newly introduced character's signature weapon is Golden Frostbound Oath, which can be obtained by pulling on Phase 1 Epitome Invocation Weapon Banner. Afterward, you will need to continuously farm the following Ascension Materials to enhance it:

  • Mora
  • Frost-Etched Warrant
  • Immaculate Warrant
  • Tattered Warrant
  • Ember of Long Night Flint
  • Afterglow of Long Night Flint
  • Flare of Long Night Flint
  • Blaze of Long Night Flint

Additionally, Genshin Impact is introducing Linnea's exclusive Story Quest, which also serves as Act 1 of Alcyon Chapter. While the specific details of the quest remain unconfirmed, it is certain to offer you a deeper insight into Linnea's character.

  Opening of new areas

In terms of regional content, Version 6.5 appears to center around Mondstadt, introducing two new areas within this region: Dornman Port and Temple of Space.

Dornman Port is a vital trading hub situated on the outskirts of Mondstadt, where you may encounter all manner of wondrous events.

Temple of Space, on the other hand, serves as the private repository of the ruler Asmoday, a location not easily accessed by outsiders.

New Boss - Watcher: Fallen Vigil

Coinciding with the debut of the new character Linnea, Genshin Impact Version 6.5 introduces a new enemy type: Watcher: Fallen Vigil.

Upon the update's release, you can travel to Dornman Port to locate and defeat this boss, thereby obtaining Ascension materials required for Linnea.

  Version 6.5 limited-time events

In addition to the major updates mentioned above, new limited-time quests and challenges will be released in phases throughout Luna VI period. This ensures that you always have fresh content to enjoy and can continuously earn a variety of rewards. Specific events include:

  • Surveying & Mapping Studies (April 10-20): Use a compass to locate clues on the map and mark their positions.
  • Rapid Capture (May 6-18): Select specific characters based on Storyboarding Objectives, have them strike the required poses, and then take a photograph.
  • Where Waves Meet the Reef (April 27-May 14): Participate in a Tower Defense mini-game to earn rewards, with a chance to obtain free Jahoda.
  • Ley Line Overflow (May 11-18): A returning event where you can earn rewards by challenging Ley Line Outcrops.

That concludes our overview of all the new content featured in this update. With less than a week remaining until the release of Genshin Impact Version 6.5, now is the time to get ready!

• Return to Mondstadt! Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Luna V Breakdown: Release Date, Main Story, Events & Banners

Version 6.4 Luna V is confirmed for release on February 25, 2026. This update has a rather long name: Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind (or Song of the Welkin Moon: Variation).

And just like its name suggests, this update is packed with content. More importantly, what makes this update special is that it won't take players to new areas as in previous updates, but instead will bring the story back to where it all began - Mondstadt. Players will have the opportunity to participate in a brand-new event hosted by Knights of Favonius, reliving the early days of the adventure with familiar faces. Now let's introduce what you need to know about this Luna V update!

  New Main Quest

First, let's look at the story. A brand-new quest starring Varka is coming soon. It's worth noting that there are some surprising twists, such as the villain, The Bloodstained Knight, potentially making a surprise appearance later in the story! At that time, Varka, the Knight of Boreas, and Roland, the Bloodstained Knight, may face off!

Furthermore, Lohen, the vice-commander of Knights of Favonius, will also join the quest. He may also be one of the upcoming new characters, as his silhouette from the 6.3 livestream seems to match.

Completing this story quest will reward you with a large amount of Varka upgrade materials and some Primogems to help you build a more powerful Varka. Please note that free players can only obtain a total of 8,735 Primogems during version 6.4. Therefore, if you want to obtain all the banner characters, it is recommended that you carefully save up your Primogems. If necessary, it is a wiser choice to buy Genshin Impact top up service to obtain more Genesis Crystals.

By the way, a new world boss called Radiant Moongecko has been added in Version 6.4. This boss has a chance to drop Varka Ascension Material. So if you want to maximize the potential of this new 5-star Anemo Claymore character, targeting this world boss is the best option.

  New Events

Like previous major updates, Genshin Impact Luna V also brings some new events.

Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind Event

First up is Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind Event, hosted by Knights of Favonius, which runs from February 27th to March 16th, 2026.

This flagship event consists of four parts:

The first part requires you to use a special camera to take pictures throughout Mondstadt during the event, comparing the surrounding environment with reality and capturing the differences!

The second part is a bartender mini-game where you can mix and match drinks for customers!

The third part is a flight shooting game. You need to control a falcon to fly along a designated route and shoot targets along the way! The more targets you hit, the higher your score.

The fourth part is a combat event. You need to defeat as many enemies as possible in Lionfang's Radiant Onslaught within the time limit to earn points. Interestingly, you can also summon Knight Shadows to unleash powerful sword waves to clear out enemies. It looks incredibly cool.

Participating in this event will earn you a free 4-star Catalyst weapon skin. Even better, it can be used on any Catalyst Weapon, similar to the 4-star rarity skin obtained from Stygian Onslaught Dire difficulty, but this skin doesn't require you to use a specific team to defeat a specific boss. So don't miss this almost-obtainable special skin!

  Mini-Events

  Next are some smaller events.

  Sightseeing With Friends

The first event is called Sightseeing With Friends. This is simply a photo event where players need to photograph famous landmarks throughout Teyvat continent while touring it, and then stitch together as many interesting sights as possible into a landscape painting. It's worth mentioning that some familiar faces will appear in the event, including the returning Bongo-Head.

  Operation Stronghold Defense

Next up is Operation Stronghold Defense. This is a base defense event where you must use various mechanics and skills to build a defensive system to help Aino construct tower defenses and protect her warehouse! Be aware that waves of enemies will appear, attempting to break through your defenses. Defeat as many enemies as possible to achieve a higher score!

  Travelers' Tales

In addition, Travelers' Tales event will be updated with a series of new character encounters, including Nicole, whom many are eagerly anticipating.

  Repertoire of Myriad Melodies

Repertoire of Myriad Melodies will also receive a new soundtrack, including a new score from Nod-Krai. Furthermore, you can acquire the new Harmonic Keys instrument, allowing you to participate in performances at any time.

  Genius Invokation TCG

In Luna V, Genius Invokation TCG players will continue to enjoy their usual fresh experience, such as a new Nod-Krai table, card backs, new NPCs to challenge, and brand-new cards.

  Envisaged Echo

Envisaged Echo will also be coming to Kamisato Clan - Ayato and Ayaka will each gain their own unique trail effect. This is a permanent, high-difficulty combat challenge located in Imaginarium Theater. Completing the challenge will unlock a unique dash effect exclusive to each character. Players must reach level 90 and Friendship Level 8 to unlock these challenges.

  Overflowing Abundance

Finally, as always, Overflowing Abundance event returns. Complete any Talent Level Up or Weapon Ascension Domain to claim rewards. It's worth noting that you can also claim double rewards, but this requires using Original Resin and can only be claimed a maximum of three times per day.

  New Character

Now, we can finally talk about the new character coming to Genshin Impact Version 6.4 - Varka! Varka is a brand new 5-star Anemo character who fights using two-handed Claymores! He previously appeared as an NPC.

Varka looks incredibly cool. His skill activates two Claymores simultaneously; one deals fixed Anemo damage, while the other's attributes depend on Varka's teammates. For example, if he has a Pyro teammate, he gains Pyro Infusion.

Furthermore, he can unleash special skills or charged attacks. Although initially on cooldown, his normal attacks reduce the cooldown with each hit.

Notably, the developers revealed that Varka is a Hexerei character. Completing his Witch's Homework further reduces the cooldown of his special skills and charged attacks.

Finally, Varka's Burst skill has a very cool animation and deals two attacks, one of which deals different elemental damage depending on Varka's teammates.

If you pull Varka and interact with this legendary figure, you can not only fight Andrius in a unique way, but the final reward also includes two exclusive skins for his Claymores!

  Banners

Next, let's talk about Luna V update banners. First, the five-star mainstays in Phase 1 are Varka and Flins, along with their exclusive weapons, from February 25th to March 17th, 2026; phase 2 features Skirk and Escoffier, from March 17th to April 7th, 2026.

Besides these, there's another banner: Mondstadt Chronicled Wish Banner. But honestly, this banner isn't very good. You might say Albedo is alright, but apart from that, at least half the characters in this banner are common characters, not worth wasting your Primogems on.

Perhaps the developers simply wanted to create a Chronicled Wish Banner to celebrate Mondstadt and Varka, basically just to fit the theme. However, many characters are already outdated. So unless you really want Klee or Albedo, this banner isn't worth pulling for.

In short, these are the core contents of Genshin Impact Version 6.4 update. This update focuses on delivering on the long-awaited story promise, marking a major turning point for the game. Don't hesitate, log in now and embark on a new adventure with Varka!

• Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Phase 2 New and Rerun Characters Will Bring You the Best Combat Experience!

The release of Version 6.3 Phase 2 is drawing ever closer, bringing an increasingly festive atmosphere related to Lunar New Year to Genshin Impact - after all, this is a game developed by a Chinese company.

More importantly, new banners will be available! This means you'll be able to acquire new characters, enriching your Genshin Impact character collection and offering more team-building possibilities, making future battles even more interesting.

Next, we'll introduce what you can do in the game over the next month or so, based on the new content brought by Luna IV Phase 2.

When will Phase 2 be available?

Phase 2 is expected to launch on February 3, 2026, immediately following Phase 1. However, it's important to note that the exact time depends on your time zone.

Furthermore, there will likely be a server maintenance interval between the two phases. After maintenance, you will need to download the update package to enter Phase 2. This phase will then continue until February 24th, and Version 6.4 may be released subsequently.

  New characters Zibai and Illuga

As a brand-new 5-star character introduced in Version 6.3 Phase 2, Zibai will probably only be obtainable through this limited banner drop for the time being. A rerun banner might appear later, but adding her to regular banners is a long way off.

Therefore, if you are interested in this Geo-elemental swordswoman, be sure to take advantage of every opportunity to earn and accumulate resources during Phase 1; otherwise, you should immediately replenish your resources through Genshin Impact top up.

  Zibai introduction

Due to her elemental attribute, if you are lucky enough to obtain her and plan to immediately add her to a team, please note that Zibai's full potential is only realized when paired with Geo and Hydro characters.

This is because her passive skill increases her DEF and Elemental Mastery based on the number of these two types of characters in the team, which determines Zibai's final damage output.

Another important character mechanic is Lunar-Crystallize, which converts any Hydro crystal reaction into a Lunar Crystal reaction, allowing Zibai to deal more damage.

Building upon this, if you have the ability to further enhance Zibai's talents through her talents, you should first focus on her elemental skills and their enhanced states, as this determines whether she can deal sufficient burst damage in the early stages of combat.

Afterwards, since Zibai can perform normal attacks while casting special elemental skills, the second direction for upgrading should be normal attacks. As for elemental bursts, they only serve as supplementary damage, so their importance is the lowest.

Based on this, the materials required to upgrade this character's talents and their drop sources are as follows:

  Daily Domain Drops (Wed/Sat/Sun):

  • Teachings of Gold
  • Guide to Gold
  • Philosophies of Gold

  Enemy Drops - Fatui Oprichniki:

  • Tattered Warrant
  • Immaculate Warrant
  • Frost-Etched Warrant

Weekly Boss Drops - The Game Before the Gate Boss:

  • Ascended Sample: Queen

  Illuga introduction

This four-star character is also making her first appearance. He shares the same elemental attribute as Zibai and uses the poliam weapon type.

He will appear in both banners of Version 6.3 Phase 2 and will be added to the regular banner after the current version ends. Furthermore, four-star characters have a much higher drop rate, making him relatively easy to obtain.

In contrast to his relatively low acquisition difficulty, Illuga's combat strength is not low, or at least he performs well when teamed with Zibai.

For gear selection, equipping him with the weapon Favonius Lance and the artifact Silken Moon's Serenade (4 pieces) will maximize his characteristics.

Furthermore, given his support-type nature, you can prioritize stacking Elemental Mastery when upgrading his talents and further enhance him using the effects of the full Silken Moon's Serenade artifact set.

The talent upgrade materials and sources for this character are as follows:

  Daily Domain Drops (Tue/Fri/Sun):

  • Teachings of Elysium
  • Guide to Elysium
  • Philosophies of Elysium

  Enemy Drops - Landcruisers:

  • Broken Drive Shaft
  • Reinforced Drive Shaft
  • Precision Drive Shaft

Weekly Boss Drops - Lord of Eroded Primal Fire Boss:

  • Eroded Horn

  Rerun character Neuvillette

This character first appeared in Version 4.1 Phase 1, and Genshin Impact will reintroduce his rerun banner this time. As a five-star Hydro Catalyst user, Neuvillette can unleash a continuous stream of water attacks on enemies with a ranged charged attack.

Therefore, in team composition, he can also form good synergy with Zibai, helping you gain more possibilities for Hydro/Geo team configurations during Luna IV Phase 2.

What events can you play in Phase 2?

First, all the new main quests, bosses, and maps released in Version 6.3 are permanently added to the game, meaning you can experience them at any time after January 13, 2026.

While all the limited-time events introduced in this version, Shutterflash Memory Hunt, ended on January 26th, and Lantern Rite 2026 just started on January 30th and will continue until the end of Version 6.3. So it can be played during Phase 2.

In addition, two limited-time events, Moonlit Patrol Exercise and Ley Line Overflow, will start on February 9th and 16th respectively, so you can consider them, in a sense, Phase 2 exclusive events.

Based on this, it is expected that after Phase 2 opens, you can enjoy the new permanent content while continuing to earn rewards through the three limited-time events, which will help you acquire new characters and prepare for future new versions!

That concludes our introduction. Wishing you success in acquiring new loot and characters in Genshin Impact as you progress through this new phase, and may you enjoy the unique fun of 2026 Lunar New Year!

• Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Luna IV Preview | Release Date, New Banners, Events and More

Greetings, Travelers! How have you been doing in Teyvat lately? It's been over a month since Version 6.2 was released, and according to Genshin Impact's update schedule, this means Version 6.3 will be released soon!

More importantly, based on the special update timing (the beginning of the year), this means that the annual grand event, Lantern Rite, will return during Luna IV period!

So when exactly will this Version be released, and what new characters and gameplay will it bring? We'll answer these questions below!

  Version 6.3 release date

Based on official live streams and other known information, it has been tentatively confirmed that Version 6.3 (Luna IV) will first launch Phase 1 on January 14, 2026. The specific times and corresponding time zones are as follows:

  • North America: January 13, 2026, 11:00 PM (UTC/GMT-5)
  • Europe: January 14, 2026, 5:00 AM (UTC/GMT+1)
  • Asia: January 14, 2026, 12:00 PM (UTC/GMT+8)
  • TW, HK, MO: January 14, 2026, 12:00 PM (UTC/GMT+8)

Please note that regardless of your time zone and server, you will need to wait 5 hours for maintenance and download the update content before officially entering Version 6.3. Additionally, Phase 2 is expected to launch around February 4th.

  New limited-time banners!

As usual, Luna IV will be based on phases, releasing different banners and new characters at different times. The new characters/rate-up characters and weapons in each banner will not be exactly the same.

  Phase 1

The first banner in this phase features the new character Columbina, while the second is a rerun banner with Ineffa as the limited-time rate-up character.

The weapon banner Epitome Invocation will drop items related to these two characters, among which Columbina's Nocturne's Curtain Call is brand new and has a lower drop rate.

It is expected that after Version 6.3 is released, Columbina can serve as a support DPS character for your team in Moon-element reactions, especially if you already have characters like Flins and Nefer that can synergize with her.

If you don't have enough Primogems and Columbina isn't appealing enough for you, we recommend saving your resources for Phase 2. However, if there are characters you want in Phase 1 banner, it's best to get Genshin Impact top up immediately.

  Phase 2

The new characters introduced in this phase are five-star Geo sword user Zibai and four-star Geo polearm character Illuga. Notably, Zibai has her own dedicated banner, while Illuga will appear in both Zibai's banner and the rerun banner for Neuvillette.

The new item featured in the weapon banner is Lightbearing Moonshard, usable by Zibai. If you're lucky enough to obtain her from the character banner, you shouldn't miss this sword.

Main story quests and boss updates

As the latest main story quest chapter, Song of the Welkin Moon launched with Nod-Krai region and is currently at Act 6. Version 6.3 will bring updates to Acts 7 and 8. You will need to complete the preceding acts to access and complete them.

Based on the new main story quests, a new weekly boss, The Doctor, will also be introduced. His official name is Dottore, and he needs to be unlocked by progressing through the new main story quests to a specific point.

According to the usual Genshin Impact update mechanics, defeating Dottore is expected to yield Talent Ascension materials usable by the new characters.

In addition, Version 6.3 will also add a new world boss, Lord of the Hidden Depths, which you can encounter while exploring Nod-Krai. Defeating him may drop Ascension materials suitable for Columbina.

  Map updates

Version updates usually come with the opening of new regions or areas. Based on this, Luna IV will bring Piramida, located in the northern part of Nod-Krai, as a new area. Here you can find more Wild Hunt locations.

Dress up characters and travelers with new outfits

Luna IV is expected to bring three new outfits, one each for the male/female Traveler (the character you control), Neuvillette, and Yaoyao. Here's how to obtain them:

  • Traveler Outfit: Reward for completing Main Story Quests Act 7 and 8
  • Neuvillette Outfit: Trading in the in-game shop
  • Yaoyao Outfit: Reward for completing Lantern Rite event

  More new events

In addition to completing new quests and exploring new areas, Version 6.3 will also bring a series of new events for you to participate in! Here are these events and their main gameplay:

  Lantern Rite 2026

As an annual major in-game event, 2026 Lantern Rite will begin on January 30th and last until February 23rd. During this period, you can obtain the following rewards by playing various mini-games or quests:

  • A 4-star character from Liyue
  • Daily login rewards "May Fortune Find You," including Intertwined Fates, Primogems, and more
  • Yaoyao Lantern Rite Skin

  Shutterflash Memory Hunt

This is a large-scale photography quest that requires you to take photos of specified characters in specific poses. It is expected to start on January 16th and last for 10 days. Rewards include:

  • Primogems
  • Hero's Wit
  • Mora
  • Talent Materials

  Moonlit Patrol Exercise

This event will start on February 9th and last until the 23rd. The gameplay involves drawing monsters to form a team and battling enemy monsters. Winning unlocks rewards.

  Ley Line Overflow

This returning event will start on February 16th and last for one week. During this period, you can claim rewards by challenging Ley Line Outcrops, up to 3 times per day. We usually recommend playing with friends!

The above is the main information about Genshin Impact Version 6.3. Be sure to complete all quests and challenges in Version 6.2 before it starts to avoid missing out on rewards!

• Genshin Impact Version 6.2 Phase 2 Primogem Breakdown | How Many Pulls Can You Really Get?

Genshin Impact Version 6.2 Luna III Phase 2 will begin on December 23rd. The two new characters in the first phase may have already depleted your Primogems. The second phase will introduce Xilonen and Varesa banners.

Many players believe the second phase is a resource wasteland, with major rewards exhausted. However, this is a misconception. Players who have been consistently accumulating resources will gain enough Primogems in the second phase, the key being the accumulation of numerous smaller resources.

So let's look at all sources, from simple daily quests to easily overlooked web events, to see how many Primogems you can obtain in the second phase.

  All Primogem Sources

The second phase runs from December 23rd to January 13th, 2026, lasting a total of 21 days. Below is a count of Primogems you can obtain during this period. You can determine whether you need to Genshin Impact top up for Phase 2, based on the final statistics.

  Excluded First Phase Resources

The next reset of Spiral Abyss occurs before the start of the second phase, therefore its 800 Primogems are not included in the second phase budget. Similarly, rewards from other periodic events that reset to Phase 1 will not be included in this calculation.

  Daily Commissions

Daily Commission provides 60 Primogems per day, and 21 days of Daily Commissions will provide a total of approximately 1260 Primogems. This is the most reliable base resource, roughly equivalent to 8 pulls.

  Paimon's Bargains Shop

Paimon's Bargains Shop will reset in Phase 2 of Version 6.2. You can exchange Stardust for 5 Intertwined Fates, worth 800 Primogems.

  Imaginarium Theater

Imaginarium Theater will also reset in Phase 2. You only need to complete it; high scores are not required. Completing it will easily earn you 1,000 Primogems.

  Main Quests And Missions

Completing Archon Quests in Version 6.2 will reward you with 590 Primogems and 2 Starlight pulls worth 320 Primogems each, for a total value of 910 Primogems.

However, considering that many players have already completed most of the content in the first phase, and some players may not have had time to clear all the branches, we estimate this part at 300 Primogems. Adding the short side quests and subsequent missions scattered throughout the version, there will be another 135 Primogems, for a total of approximately 450 Primogems.

  Event Sources

  Soulblazers' Snowbound Journey

Soulblazers' Snowbound Journey event started on December 19th and ended on January 5th. The main part of this event can be considered the content of the second phase. It provides a total of 1120 Primogems. If we only calculate from the second phase, players can also obtain approximately 700 Primogems. In addition, this event gives away a free four-star bow and its fully refined materials.

  Heroic Clash: Saurian Brawl

Heroic Clash: Saurian Brawl is a quick and easy event that started on December 29th and ended on January 7th. Completing the objectives rewards 420 Primogems.

Memories Of The Moon Web Event

This event is accessed via in-game mail. Completing simple tasks rewards 160 Primogems. The event will run from approximately December 31, 2025 to January 13, 2026. Players level 10 and above can participate.

  Marvelous Merchandise

This event runs from January 5th to 12th, 2026. Players can redeem rewards using common materials, earning 280 Primogems.

  Other Primogem Rewards

  • Livestream Rewards: Version 6.3 special program livestreams typically offer 3 redemption codes, totaling 300 Primogems.
  • Redemption Codes: At least one additional 60 Primogem redemption code is usually available during each version.
  • Character Trial Runs: 40 Primogems.
  • Login Rewards, Maintenance Compensation: Approximately 135 Primogems.

  Total Primogem Acquisition

  Free Player Total

Adding up all Primogem sources in Phase 2, free players can obtain approximately 5,570 Primogems in the second half of the phase, equivalent to about 35 pulls.

  Monthly Pass Player Total

Welkin Moon Spender players will receive an additional 1,890 Primogems over 21 days on top of the free rewards, totaling approximately 7,460 Primogems, equivalent to about 47 pulls.

  Character Pull Recommendations

The banners in Phase 2 feature returning characters. Players who already own these characters can choose not to pull or upgrade their Constellation levels. The two returning 5-star characters are Varesa and Xilonen, and the 4-star characters featured in the banners also perform well.

  Xilonen

If you don't have Varesa, you shouldn't miss this opportunity, as she is currently one of the strongest and most versatile damage-boosting support characters. Her skill is easy to use; after using her skill, attacking twice provides a high amount of resistance reduction, and her ultimate skill also heals. Her equipment requirements are also low.

  Varesa

Varesa is a powerful Electro main DPS character with a unique, plucking-heavy attack rhythm. With practice, her damage rivals top-tier main DPS characters, and she's quite easy to play. However, in Genshin Impact, her support role is higher than DPS role. If you already have a main DPS, her pull priority can be lower.

Regarding their strength, just follow the principle of pulling for characters you like. The meta changes, and new characters are constantly being released, but only characters you truly love will be diligently developed and used.

In short, if Xilonen suits your team composition, pull for her; if you like Varesa's gameplay, pull for her; if you're saving resources for Version 6.3 and later, you can use your calculated resource count to skip the current gacha banner, and a clear plan is the best answer.

• Genshin Impact Version 6.2 New 5-Star Character Durin | Builds, Weapons, Artifacts And More

Even if you're a die-hard fan of older Genshin Impact characters, you have to admit that new characters always garner more attention, especially those mentioned in previous main storylines, at least before and after a new version release.

While Durin doesn't entirely possess this quality, as the only new 5-star character in Version 6.2, he has still sparked a heated discussion within Genshin Impact player community.

Aesthetically, Durin is undeniably appealing. His attire is predominantly purple, his features are refined, and his demeanor is as haughty as a legendary vampire or demon. However, in contrast, he wields the power of fire - a Pyro character.

So, if you plan to obtain this character in Luna III and have him aid you in battle, what should you do? We'll tell you.

  How To Obtain Durin?

This character will be released on December 3rd along with Version 6.2 Phase 1. His exclusive banner, Rubedo of White Stone Born, will also be available at that time, allowing you to consume Primogems to try to obtain him.

Note that this banner will only last until December 23rd. Therefore, if you haven't pulled Durin by the end of the phase, it's best to immediately obtain Genesis Crystals through Genshin Impact top up to exchange for more Primogems.

What Kind Of Character Is Durin?

This five-star character is a Pyro elemental DPS character who uses a sword. Other important basic stats are as follows:

  • Attack: 346
  • Defense: 822
  • HP: 12430
  • Bonus Stat: 38.4% Crit Damage

Based on the trailer and other information, Durin possesses very strong burst fire damage output potential, comparable to other classic Pyro characters in Genshin Impact.

Furthermore, after using her Elemental Burst skill for a period of time, Durin can continuously apply Pyro damage to enemies and reduce their Pyro and other corresponding elemental resistances after other teammates create Pyro-related reactions.

Despite his immense damage output, Durin is surprisingly easy to use. He synergizes well with most Genshin Impact characters, making him an ideal off-field support by boosting the team's damage output.

The only thing to note is that maximizing his power relies heavily on Elemental Bursts. Therefore, you must constantly monitor your team's resource allocation and timing of the attacks.

Which Is More Worthwhile: C1 Or Signature Weapon?

In Genshin Impact, if you pull a character twice or more from banners, that character will gain an upgrade called Constellations. Each upgrade is called C1, and so on.

On the other hand, when a five-star character is first released, the game equips them with a unique signature weapon, further enhancing their overall abilities. However, like obtaining Constellation, this requires consuming resources to pull from banners.

Since both of these enhancement methods have very low drop rates, you often have to choose one. For Durin, the effects of his C1 and Signature Weapon are as follows:

  • C1: Provides a damage buff to all allies by stacking Enlightenment.
  • Signature Weapon: Provides a 6% ATK buff to all allies, while also increasing Durin's Elemental Burst damage.

Comparatively, C1 provides a higher overall team buff, and Enlightenment is easy to accumulate, allowing for rapid multi-layer stacks to boost the entire team's output. If you're lucky enough to upgrade to C2 or C3, the effect is even stronger.

Of course, whichever approach you choose, it requires sufficient Primogems. Otherwise, to avoid being unable to pull other characters later, focus on other methods to enhance Durin.

How To Craft Builds For Durin?

Durin's combat value lies in boosting allies' damage output while serving as a supportive off-field secondary DPS. Therefore, equipping him with his Signature Weapon, Athame Artis, is undoubtedly the best choice.

Alternatively, you can consider another five-star weapon, Noblesse Oblige. It maximizes Durin's off-field output by increasing his Elemental Burst damage.

If your resources are limited and you can only obtain a maximum of four-star weapons, then R5 Wolf-Fang or Moonweaver's Dawn are the top choices. They are not only easier to obtain from banners, but can also be acquired directly by completing missions.

If all else fails, the three-star weapon Harbinger of Dawn is worth using, but you must refine it to level 5 to increase its critical hit rate. In summary, all available weapons are as follows:

  • Athame Artis: 5-Star
  • Primordial Jade Cutter: 5-Star
  • Mistsplitter Reforged: 5-Star
  • Absolution: 5-Star
  • Wolf-Fang: 4-Star
  • Moonweaver's Dawn: 4-Star
  • Harbinger of Dawn: 3-Star

After deciding on your weapon, you need to further increase Druin's attack power to at least 2500 based on his existing stats to fully utilize his passive skill.

Next, you'll need to boost his damage output by stacking Elemental Energy, Crit Rate, or Crit DMG, and stack Elemental DMG Reduction for him when there are no other Pyro characters in your party.

  How To Choose Artifacts?

In Genshin Impact, artifacts are equipable items, which you can think of as armor or accessories. They increase character stats, and equipping multiple artifacts from the same set grants powerful set bonuses.

If you're utilizing Durin in combat, prioritize artifacts and sets that boost Elemental Burst DMG, ATK, or Pyro DMG, such as 4-piece Noblesse Oblige - which enhances Durin while also providing an ATK bonus to allies.
