Elder Scrolls Online: Reasonable Discussion About Ways To Earn Gold Without Joining A Guild
Posted: May 19, 2023 Views: 3150
I know that joining Guild is very important to farm gold coins, because we usually need to trade items through Guild Traders for profit. But I’m still wondering if there’s a way to earn coins without joining a Guild.
Normally I make around 20 - 30k a day. But relying on these alone, it is simply a drop in the bucket to fully upgrade the suit.
As of now, I have also done a lot of quests, such as Volcanic Events, Dungeons, and farming Leather, and Ores smelting. These activities help me make as much money as possible, but I’m still desperately looking for ways to make money on my own. Therefore, I have also summarized some good ways to earn ESO Gold as soon as possible.

Flipping Items
Well-timed Flipping Items are by far the most profitable thing players can do in this game, and the margins are huge. Players can find the right time, take advantage of low prices to acquire some new patterns, and then trade them at high prices. However, this method has higher requirements and the profit cycle is not stable, so it is not suitable as a long-term method of making money.

Crafting Writs
Also, you can earn gold by doing some tasks while offline. For example, you can use multiple characters to Craft Writs every day, so you can earn at least 100k+/day and spend less than an hour. There is no doubt that you can reach at least 30k by spending more than an hour, which is definitely a good way.
Daily crafting Writs will net you 300k a week and a bunch of Gold Mats you can trade at any time as well as investigations into more raw sources. This will give you more resources and you can refine more Gold Mats.

Daily Quests
There are often much more profitable things to do in the game. With the drop of House Mornard, Galen’s Daily Quests will also open. So you can share boss and Delve Daily Quests with your friends so you have more chances. Daily Quests also have a chance to drop Furnishing Plans, some of which are worth 600k+.
Participate In Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event
There’s also Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event that started a while ago that allowed you to get Dufort and Gloamsedge Armor style from Wandering bosses. You can kill them in time with PvE Builds, or join a Molag Bal group to increase the odds of a successful kill.
Since this event will have 4 bosses, you have 4 separate chances to get these Armor styles. Gloamsedge is worth around 300k+, while Dufort is targeting 100k+, and once Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event ends a month or two later, its value will soar a lot.

There is also Domihaus Mask Style that can be planted at present, and its value is basically more than one million. Players can often clear the level to gather a group of companions and perform at least one HM to increase the drop rate of legendary items. Then we can trade them at a higher price a few months later.
Don’t forget to take advantage of events and monthly Undaunted Styles and any new themes to earn coins until you have enough coins to start trading items to Guild Traders.

If you want something less laborious, you can place a farm resource node in Craglorn. Ideally, you’d get double the yield, and get the most out of your nodes in a faster time, so you don’t get upset about not having enough gold.
All in all, maybe joining a Guild is relatively the best option to get gold coins easily. However, for some players who want to play the game alone, I hope these methods of obtaining gold coins can help us have a better game experience.

Elder Scrolls Online Seasons Of The Worm Cult Part 2 & Update 48 | New Content, Rewards, And Optimizations
After a month-long build-up to Battle For The Writhing Wall event, Elder Scrolls Online finally released Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 and Update 48 on November 12th, continuing from Part 1 five months ago while further optimizing the game.
However, to experience all the updated content, you not only need ESO 2025 Content Pass and 2025 Premium Edition, but you must also ensure that Battle For The Writhing Wall event on your server has been completed.
We've already provided a detailed introduction to this event. Whether you participated or not, you can now check your current server's progress and follow the guide below to experience the new content.

Seasons Of The Worm Cult Part 2
As Elder Scrolls Online's core update for 2025, this season expands and continues the game's original main storyline through two parts of gameplay and story.
Part 1, Western Solstice, launched in June, introducing the new zone Solstice and new content including dungeons, trials, and bosses. After a five-month wait, Part 2, Eastern Solstice, is finally here!
From a narrative perspective, Battle For The Writhing Wall event serves as a transition between Part 1 and Part 2. This wall divides the island in two, and only by winning the battle and destroying the wall can one venture deeper into the eastern part of Solstice.
New Playable Content
If your server has already completed Battle For The Writhing Wall event, you can start playing Part 2. This update brings new main story content, but it can only be experienced after completing Part 1 main story quests and Crossing the Wall story quest.
Please note that the latter story quest needs to be claimed manually. If you haven't completed it yet, you can find Prince Azah at Sunport Rampart Camp to claim it - provided you have completed Part 1 main quests.
The conflict between the forces of good and the evil Worm Cult is expected to escalate to its peak in Part 2's main storyline. If a new themed season series is subsequently released, Part 2 could very well be the graveyard for Worm Cult.
Part 2 also expands Coldharbour map, allowing you to explore new delves and dungeons, fight new bosses, and potentially encounter Stone-Nest Argonians, the native inhabitants of Eastern Solstice. Specific details include:
- Four full-length objectives
- Three delves, each with a skyshard and a unique boss
- New public dungeon Calindvale Gardens
- Three world bosses
- Two new crafting set locations
- Hidden side quests
Exploration Rewards
As you progress through Part 2 main storyline and complete enough battles, you can unlock generous rewards! These include Elder Scrolls Online gold, new item sets and collectibles, and more. The collectibles are extensive, including:
- Outfit Style: Scythe Knight outfit style
- Emote: For My Alliance emote
- Memento: Meridian-Blessed Bread memento
- Mount: Coldharbour Death Hound
- Pet: Slothcerer pet
- Adornments: Azure Plasmstone Earrings, Solstice Pinned Bloom
- Markings: Stone-Nest Xanmeer body tattoos, To Know the Void quest matching face tattoos
- Skill Style: Soul Trap, Wormwrithe skill style
Of course, obtaining all of this requires owning a version of the game that includes Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 and completing the corresponding quests or achievements.
Update 48
This update is part of ESO's regular game schedule, so as long as you own the base game, you can load the update package for free and experience it.
Update 48, as usual, brings optimizations and changes to various aspects of the in-game systems, introduces new events, and previews more events to be released during Christmas and New Year's.
Mechanics And System Optimizations
Update 48 first introduces changes aimed at reducing the size of combat animations, avoiding excessive memory usage that could impact the game and the smoothness of your device's performance. These changes will not significantly degrade the game's graphics.
Furthermore, Elder Scrolls Online has made all in-game leaderboards except Cyrodiil account-wide in this update and removed class-specific leaderboards. This makes the entire leaderboard system more streamlined and efficient.
More detailed optimizations can be experienced in-game or checked through official announcements, such as optimizations to skill effects for each class. The two points we've introduced above are particularly noteworthy.
Hearts Week Event
Although this event is part of Update 48, it has not yet officially started in the game and is currently just a pre-event announcement. ESO is expected to hold Hearts Week in February 2026, at which time the event will also begin.
During the event, Belkarth festival grounds will be transformed into a home to the priest of Mara, Kuzam-jo. You can find this NPC, interact with him to receive and complete event quests, earning more Companion XP and affinity.
In addition, you may receive various reward boxes, including Heart's Day reward boxes, which may contain gold-quality Companion jewelry! Good luck!
Starting in December 2025, Elder Scrolls Online will host a New Year's celebration. During this time, you can explore the entire game map to complete daily quests and earn new styles or houses as rewards.
Compared to last year, Elder Scrolls Online in 2025 has undoubtedly achieved new success through its transformation. Hopefully, it will continue this success and improve in 2026, bringing you an even better gaming experience.

Elder Scrolls Online Halloween 2025 Luxury Furnisher & Golden Vendor Guide: Best Items, Value, And Recommendations
Halloween is approaching, and various games have already started their Halloween events, including Elder Scrolls Online. This Friday's update also features updated items for Luxury Furnisher and Golden Vendor.
Both vendors appear for a limited time, and the items they sell have some practical value. If you have enough gold in your wallet, you might want to check out what they have in the 43rd week, 2025.

Luxury Furnisher
Luxury Furnisher is located at Cicero's Food & General Goods in Coldharbour. Note that he only appears on weekends. Last week, he offered statues, while this week he's offering darker items like skeletons and witch totems.
Note that the items he sells are unbound, so you can sell them to other players, provided they don't depreciate in value. Let's take a look at some interesting items.
- Bone Sculpture, Circular: 3,000 Gold. Perfect for room decoration if you are a bone and skull enthusiast.
- Crow Totem, Gruesome: 4,000 Gold, value decreases over time.
- Reach Totem, Gathered Staves: 2,000 Gold, new item, but a bit ugly.
- Reach Totem, Twig Crescent: 3,000 Gold, somewhat ugly furniture, may depreciate.
- Reach Totem, Twig Raven: 3,000 Gold, decent decoration, can appreciate in value.
- Tree, Treehenge Green Lady: 50,000 Gold, large and cool, but requires a lot of gold.
- Warning Totem, Skulls: 2,500 Gold, also somewhat ugly furniture, may depreciate.
- Witch's Torch, Wretched: 5,000 Gold, looks nice, but there are many similar shiny items in the game.
- Witch's Totem, Bog: 50,000 Gold, although less valuable than before, it creates a green miasma effect and is a rather creative piece of furniture.
- Witch's Tree, Captive: 35,000 Gold, value has decreased slightly, but the fluctuation is minimal.
- Witch's Tree, Charred: 5,000 Gold, value fluctuation is minimal.
Golden Vendor
Golden Vendor sells the BIS set, but requires significantly more Elder Scrolls Online gold than Luxury Furnisher. Golden Vendor is located at Western Elsweyr Gate and will disappear on October 27th.
Crafty Alfiq (125,000 Gold)
Source: Northern Elsweyr
Set Benefits:
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (5 items) Adds 2550 Maximum Magicka
Provides a considerable amount of Magicka, making it an excellent PvP set in metas dominated by Max Stat builds. However, in the current meta, Max Stat builds are becoming less popular, with Max Crit and high-burst builds becoming the mainstream. Furthermore, the related skills have been nerfed, causing its status to decline. However, it remains a top-tier set in suitable builds, though its utility has been reduced in the current meta.
Frozen Watcher (200,000 Gold)
Source: Depths of Malatar Dungeon Set
Set Benefits:
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
- (3 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
- (5 items) Summon a blizzard around you while you are Bracing, inflicting Frost Damage (damage scaled with your maximum health)
This armor set is quite cool, but the damage isn't great. The health stacking mechanic doesn't mesh well with other mechanics, and Chilled Status Effect removal isn't very practical. Overall, it's a bit flashy and lacks practicality.
Mighty Glacier (200,000 Gold)
Source: Frostvault Dungeon Set
Set Benefits:
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
- (3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery, Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
- (5 items) When you use an immobilize or root skill, grants you and your allies a Major Resolve buff, increasing resistances.
The core drawback of this set is that Major Resolve buff is a named buff that doesn't stack, making it easy for players to gain it from their own abilities or team support, thus overriding the set's benefits and wasting them.
Senchal Defender (125,000 Gold)
Source: Southern Elsweyr
Set Benefits:
- (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
- (3 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
- (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
- (5 items) Builds stacks through non-heavy attacks, then restores a significant amount of mana and stamina with a Fully Charged Heavy Attack.
Senchal Defender is suitable for resource-intensive PvE tanks or PvP players who need to restore both mana and stamina. It's not a mainstream (non-meta) item in the current meta, as players have more alternative resource recovery methods, such as potions and other set items.
Balorgh (100,000 Gold)
Source: March of Sacrifices Monster Set
Set Benefits:
- (1 item) Increases weapon and spell damage by 129.
- (2 items) After using the ultimate ability, gain significant weapon and spell damage and physical/spell penetration for 12 seconds.
This monster set is widely considered the BIS for PvP. Because Ultimate abilities are frequently used in PvP, its effects are fully utilized, resulting in high burst damage and easy builds for both beginners and veterans.
Black Gem Monstrosity (100,000 Gold)
Source: Monster Set from Black Gem Foundry event
Set Benefits:
- (1 item) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
- (2 items) After using Soul Magic ability in combat, your next light or heavy attack launches a fragment, dealing magic damage based on the target's maximum health.
Black Gem Monstrosity is a gank set, suitable for playstyles that seek instantaneous bursts. It can be reliably triggered by scribing skills and easily combined with other guaranteed proc effects to create a powerful burst. However, some players feel that its damage type (magic damage) is not as good as oblivion damage. Overall, even if it is not as good as Balorgh, it is still a worthwhile set.
The above is the general content of this week's merchants. If there are furniture or sets that you don't have yet, you can supplement them. You can also invest in some popular furniture to earn some gold, but remember to hurry.

Elder Scrolls Online Battle For The Writhing Wall Event Guide | Rewards & Phases Explained
Since the release of Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 earlier this year, the veteran MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online has been revitalized, consistently offering new events every month.
A few days ago, on October 13th, the game launched Battle for the Writhing Wall event as a teaser for the upcoming Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 and Update 48. You'll team up with other players on your server to overthrow the wall and fight against Worm Cult.
So how can you participate in this event and help thwart the evil forces' plot? What rewards will you receive? We'll explain.
How To Activate This Event?
Starting October 13, 2025, all ESO players will be able to earn rewards by participating in this event. The event will be divided into three phases. Only after completing all campaigns can you enter Eastern Solstice to claim ESO gold, collectibles, and more rewards.
To begin Battle for the Writhing Wall event, travel to Stirk Fellowship Camp or Sunport Rampart Camp and interact with Skordo the Knife to register for the event. Here's how to get there:
- Take a boat from the docks at Vulkhel Guard, Daggerfall, or Davon's Watch to Stirk Fellowship Camp.
- Go southeast of Sunport and find Sunport Rampart Camp near Rampart Camp Wayshrine on Solstice.
You can then claim Support the Fellowship introductory quest from the in-game store for further gameplay instructions.
Completing The Conflict Phase
This phase can be considered a precursor to Battle for the Writhing Wall. During this phase, you'll need to complete daily quests and defeat enemies from Coldharbour to advance the event on your server. This progress will be updated daily on the website.
Note that some daily quests remain available after the main phase begins; completing them consistently will help you earn event rewards. All NPCs associated with the event quests and their key information are as follows:
- General Zasimba: Located in Solstice zone, offers quests to protect Fellowship's Siege Camps.
- Orinde Glenuvon: Located on the islands of Stirk or Solstice, you can give her Vitrified Souls obtained from killing Daedra.
- Nurwalne: Located in Stirk and Solstice, requires you to gather war supplies from various regions.
Also, if you need supplies while completing event-related quests, you can travel to Stirk or Solstice to find Armorer Reistaff, who will provide assistance.
Phase 1
During this phase, you and other players will primarily focus on gathering resources for the larger war effort. During this phase, you may engage in small-scale skirmishes near the siege camps through daily quests.
Note that during Phase 1, Worm Cult will occupy several caves and dungeons as their territory, making these locations more dangerous - and, of course, the rewards for killing enemies there are substantial. You can find them by their unique markers on the map.
Phase 2
Once you enter this phase, you'll need to continue gathering resources to maintain the fortifications of your camp while also preparing for enemy attacks.
Correspondingly, your camp will be invaded more frequently, the enemies will be more difficult to defeat, and the world boss, Daedra Ghishzor, will appear in Solstice.
Phase 3
The start of this phase signals the exposure of Writhing Wall, ushering in the final battle. Phase 3 will last for a week after Writhing Fortress dungeon on your server has been completed until the entire event concludes.
You will then unlock Eastern Solstice, where you'll begin Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 storyline and embark on a new adventure.
Note: The start time of Phase 3 depends on the success rate and mobilization level of Elder Scrolls Online players on your server during the first two phases, so the progress of the event will vary between servers.
Finally, please note that while all players can participate in this event, you must own 2025 Content Pass to access the quests in Solstice and complete Phase 3.
Battle For The Writhing Wall Event Rewards
This event not only offers a rich ultimate reward, but also offers Writhing Reward Coffers from various sources as you progress through the event. In addition, you can earn up to three Glorious Writhing Reward Coffers daily by consistently completing daily quests.
Other notable bonuses and how to earn them are as follows:
- Antiquity Leads: May drop from specific bosses in enemy territory dungeons during the event.
- Wall Breaker Title: Complete Writhing Fortress in Phase 3.
- Coldharbour Dremnaken Runt pet and Wormwrithe Bear-Lizard mount: Participate in Golden Pursuits campaign associated with the event.
Additionally, at the start of Battle for the Writhing Wall event, if you've already completed Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 questline, you can find Prince Azah at Sunport Rampart Camp to receive the quest Crossing the Wall.
This quest is crucial because it helps you connect Parts 1 and 2, allowing you to start your Eastern Solstice adventure more smoothly, so don't miss it.
That's all for this update. The event has only been running for three days, so if you want to claim the ultimate reward, be sure to choose a high-activity ESO server and start working hard now!
As you progress through Battle for the Writhing Wall event, as enemies become increasingly dangerous, you'll need to buy higher-level weapons with gold. To do this, it's essential to stock up on enough gold at the trusted ESO gold store IGGM!

Elder Scrolls Online September 2025 Events Recap | The Undaunted Celebration, Vengeance Campaign And More
Time flies, and September 2025 will end in a few days. Over the past few months, Elder Scrolls Online has undergone significant changes, attracting many new players and increasing the frequency of events.
Over the past month, ESO has also held several events, offering numerous rewards. We've summarized these events so you can plan how to utilize the rewards in October.

1. The Undaunted Celebration
This event will run until 10:00 AM ET on Tuesday, September 30th, meaning you can still play now.
During the event, you can team up with friends to clear raid dungeons to earn rewards and event tickets. Tickets can be redeemed at the Impresario vendor for the following additional rewards:
- All Stonewisp of Truth and Law pet fragments: Axiomatic Runestones, Glyph of Law, Powdered Wisp Remains
- All Law of Julianos Dwarven Spider mount fragments: Comfortable Spider Chassis, Dwarven Control Rod, Whirring Dwarven Dynamo
- Bound-style pages for the new Scourge Harvester weapons and Opal Masks and Shoulders
- Imresario Group Repair Kits
- Companion Guild Commendations
Each day, you'll earn two tickets upon defeating a dungeon boss for the first time. If you play daily, you can expect to earn up to 26 tickets by the end of the event.
Please note that you can only hold a maximum of 12 tickets at a time. To avoid wasting time, please redeem any tickets you have for rewards before reaching that limit.
Besides playing dungeons, you can also complete the event's introductory quest, Glory of the Undaunted, in three ways during the event:
- Speak with Serileth in any Undaunted Enclave.
- Get it from the in-game Crown Store.
- Get it from Impresario tent.
You can also complete Bolgrul's Daily Undaunted Delve quest daily to receive a regular Undaunted Reward Box.
During the event, you can collect different Opal Monster Mask and Shoulder Outfit variations by defeating dungeon bosses. We recommend prioritizing the following dungeon bosses in Veteran Hard Mode for a higher drop rate.
- Iceheart (Direfrost Keep)
- Lord Warden (Imperial City Prison)
- Nightflame (Elden Hollow II)
- Swarm Mother (Spindleclutch I)
- Velidreth (Cradle of Shadows)
- Sentinel of Rkugamz (Darkshade Caverns I)
2. Seasons Of The Worm Cult Part 2 And Update 48 Released
As one of the most significant ESO updates of 2025, Seasons of the Worm Cult released its second part in mid-September, along with Update 48.
Part 2 opens up Eastern Solstice, where you can explore new caves, bosses, dungeons, and quests, earning rewards while delving deeper into the main storyline. These new content primarily include:
- Four full-length objectives
- Three delves, each with a skyshard and unique boss
- A new public dungeon: Calvindale Gardens
- Three world bosses
- Two new crafting set locations
- More hidden side quests
Note: If you wish to delve into the new main content, you must first complete Western Solstice questline and participate in the breach of Writhing Wall to breach the wall's defenses and destroy Worm Cult.
To do this, you'll need to travel to Solstice Rampart camp outside Sunport and interact with Skordo the Knife, or travel with your teammates to the western portion of Writhing Wall to find the portal and enter.
Update 48 primarily includes general bug fixes and smaller improvements to ensure a smoother overall gaming experience.
3. Vengeance Campaign For Cyrodiil
This week-long PvP-style event, ending at 10:00 AM ET on Monday, September 29th, allows you to experience the updated Vengeance campaign in Cyrodiil and provides insights for a better Alliance War.
You can participate if your character is between levels 10 and 50. This event will template your available builds, allowing you to test the feasibility of new PVP environments and gameplay in a more stable environment. To participate:
- 1. Open Alliance War menu.
- 2. Press L on your keyboard to find and open Campaigns tab.
- 3. Select Cyrodiil, then select Vengeance Campaign.
Essentially, this event serves as a tested, allowing you to experiment with the new skill lines, progression, and cosmetic systems and test their feasibility, laying the foundation for a more refined Alliance War.
More specifically, this PvP campaign event introduces the meat bag catapults, along with optimized skill lines and an armor skill line for Fighters and Mages Guilds.
These new options deliver devastating combat power while minimizing performance disruption, preventing the lag issues common in previous Cyrodiil runs.
For example, the meat bag catapult retains its damage-dealing function but no longer leaves behind a persistent ground effect.
September's events not only introduced new gameplay features through Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 and The Undaunted Celebration, but also further optimized the fundamental Elder Scrolls Online experience through Update 48.
ESO remains robust and committed to providing you with a consistently high-quality experience. Let's look forward to more updates in October!
Among all Elder Scrolls Online changes in September, Season of the Worm Cult Part 2's new dungeons and other additions will still be available in October, but you may not have the gear to handle them.
For this reason, we recommend buying ESO gold that can upgrade your gear for increased combat power and clearing new dungeons and quests as soon as possible to claim their loot. There's no time to lose, so act now!

Elder Scrolls Online Update 47 & Feast Of Shadows Dungeon Pack: What New Content Can You Experience?
Previously, when we outlined Elder Scrolls Online's July roadmap, we provided a glimpse into Update 47 and the new dungeons that will launch alongside it. Now, they're finally launching on August 18th (on PC & Mac)!
Note that the update will launch on September 3rd for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, and only Update 47 is completely free to play. To play the two new dungeons in the pack, you'll need 2025 Content Pass, 2025 Premium Edition, or an ESO Plus membership.
With that in mind, we'll provide a detailed breakdown of Update 47 and the new dungeons so you can decide whether they're worth playing.

Update 47 Basic Upgrades
This update doesn't add any significant new features to gameplay or major game modes. Instead, it focuses on improving overall game flow and overall experience, focusing on details like quality of life.
Water-Capable Mounts
Previously, when traveling between locations on a mount to increase travel speed and farm ESO gold faster, you'd have to dismount if you encountered water along the way.
While this didn't take too long, it became inconvenient over time. Update 47 introduces a new feature that allows you to ride any mount directly through water - just be careful not to expose it to attacks from aquatic creatures.
While this sounds like a simple skill, the game still required customizing the water-capturing animations and sounds for each mount, making it a relatively complex task for the developers.
Playback NPC Voiceovers
Across the vast continent of Tamriel, there are numerous NPCs of various races. Some can guide you in basic survival skills, while others will introduce you to new or existing lore.
To enhance the immersive experience as you interact with them, Elder Scrolls Online provides voiceovers for most characters. However, sometimes you might miss these captivating narrations due to distraction or other reasons.
Update 47 addresses this issue by adding an option for your character to replay the most recent voiceover of NPC who you're currently speaking with. On-screen narration has also been added to avoid overlapping with NPC voiceovers.
Making Survey Reports Stackable
In the previous update, ESO introduced stacking for Master Writs to streamline your inventory. Similar stacking mechanisms can be applied to more items, such as Survey Reports, to ensure a consistently streamlined inventory.
Survey Reports are effectively rewards for crafting Writs, available to characters of all levels. Adding stacking functionality will allow you to carry more reports easily, making it easier to utilize and trade them on the go.
Modifiable Infinite Archive Visions
As one of ESO's core PvE gameplay features, Infinite Archive spawns waves of random enemies and bosses in ever-changing halls. You must complete challenges at increasing difficulty levels to earn rewards such as gold, class sets, and furniture.
During these challenges, Infinite Archive will randomly grant you different buffs to help you survive longer, one of which is visions. With Update 47, ESO has updated the selectable visions, giving you more control over your progress by acquiring the right visions.
New Dungeon 1: Naj-Caldeesh
As the first part of Feast of Shadows dungeon pack, Naj-Caldeesh is a lost ancient Argonian citadel that has been invaded by a sinister necromantic cult - a continuation of the story from Seasons of the Worm Cult.
Because Worm Cult destroyed Seekxilts' village in the previous story, she was forced to find Naj-Caldeesh and use it as a new home. However, this also attracted the attention of Wuj-Laxul necromancers.

Your role here is to work with your teammates to thwart the necromancers' plot. In addition to bosses and enemies, you must also be wary of dangerous traps that may appear at any time.
Completing this dungeon will give you a chance to obtain four all-new item sets, a monster mask, and special collectibles, as well as a series of achievements. If you frequently utilize your subclass in combat, Xanmeer Spellweaver light armor is worth a look.
New Dungeon 2: Black Gem Foundry
This dungeon is located in Molag Bal's Oblivion realm of Coldharbour. You can pass through a cave in Western Solstice to find the entrance to this dungeon. This cave serves as both a quarry and a forge for black soul gems.
In short, dangerous weapons and items are spawned here, and your mission is to prevent them from being acquired by Worm Cult. To do this, you'll need to defeat a series of enemies in a dungeon filled with Black Gem elements.

Enemy types worth noting in this dungeon include Quarrymaster Saldezaar, Black Gem Monstrosity, and High Soulbinder Vykand. Each poses a different threat, requiring your exceptional spatial awareness.
For example, Black Gem Monstrosity is a towering monster composed of black gems. You must constantly monitor the constant flow of lava while avoiding its highly focused beam attacks.
Fighting High Soulbinder Vykand not only tests your combat awareness, but also requires exceptional focus and memory, as well as consistent communication with your teammates.
The rewards offered at Black Gem Foundry are largely the same as those at Naj-Caldeesh. New gear, such as Lustrous Soulwell light armor set, significantly increases your team's regeneration rate when using your ultimate, making it a must-see.
That's it for Update 47 and the two new dungeons that are launching simultaneously. You'll be able to experience more details in-game once they're officially released. Thank you for reading.

Elder Scrolls Online Casual Solo Gameplay: How To Play This Way?
While nearly all MMORPGs emphasize combat to earn resources and survive, if you’re not comfortable playing with others, a casual approach might be more suitable, especially in a long-running game.
Undoubtedly, Elder Scrolls Online, now over a decade old, is such a game. Even new players will probably be drawn to the casual atmosphere and relaxed after completing the initial quests.
So, what qualities of ESO still allow you to enjoy it casually as a solo player in 2025? We’ll analyze them for you.

Game Overview - Atypical MMORPG
While you can reach the top of Elder Scrolls Online by constantly farming ESO gold or rarer gear, the more you play, the more you’ll find that even casual questing can provide a solid ESO experience.
If you prefer full-on combat, you can team up with guild-mates in ESO to complete raids or slay bosses in large dungeons for loot. You can also gather in PvP zone of Cyrodiil to form an army and fight other players.
If you prefer a more casual solo experience, you can wander around Elder Scrolls Online’s towns, chat with NPCs, or create clothing accessories to accessorize and style your character for a more unique and stylish look.
ESO’s comprehensive crafting system allows you to experience forging, enchanting, cooking, and even crafting furniture to build houses through a variety of crafting skills. Furthermore, you can use the fishing feature to sell rare fish or materials you catch for more ESO gold.
In fact, with the removal of the subscription requirement and more Tamriel updates, such as the recent addition of the subclass feature, ESO becomes more like a pure “Elder Scrolls game” than a typical MMO, allowing you to customize your playstyle to your needs.
Easily Immerse In The Game Story
In MMORPGs, most PvE gameplay and quests involve complex storylines and character backgrounds, sometimes even affecting your quest progress. Therefore, you need to be fully familiar with these details before engaging in combat.
Some MMORPGs, such as World of Warcraft series, often use extensive text descriptions to explain quest backgrounds. While this approach helps ensure that no details are missed, it can be tedious.
In contrast, Elder Scrolls Online sometimes provides key quest information in the form of notes, and most quest dialogue is voiced for quick understanding.
Furthermore, some ESO story content is actually based on the background of other Elder Scrolls games, but the integration is very good. Combined with the engaging narrative style, completing an ESO PVE quest is like immersing yourself in a magical story.
A Large Number Of Completable Quests
ESO PvE quests are diverse, including multiple faction quest lines and various side quests. Completing them rewards skill points, making them perfect for a killing time as a solo player.
A single faction questline takes approximately 50 hours, and if you prefer, you can complete the questlines for two other factions with the same character. This way, the faction questlines alone could fill a whole vacation, not to mention the other smaller quests.
In addition, as you complete the quests, you might unlock more points of interest, find places to fish, gather crafting materials, or even complete your own dungeon. This gives you a constant stream of content to enrich your single-player experience.
Multiple DLCs
If you’ve already experienced all the base game content or are looking for new single-player adventures, Elder Scrolls Online offers a wealth of DLCs to satisfy your needs.
These DLCs typically include different dungeons, maps, and exclusive gameplay options, allowing you to choose the one you want. Each DLC also has its own storyline, which flows seamlessly together, helping you gain a deeper understanding of Tamriel.

Recruiting NPCs As Helpers
While most of the game can be completed solo, one person’s power is limited, and completing it may require more time and effort. If you’re a solo player and don’t have any friends or don’t want to socialize, you can recruit NPCs as helpers.
Compared to real players, NPCs can complete your requests simply by giving you command, eliminating the need for additional communication. They’re also more cooperative, especially on simpler tasks.
Diversity With Subclass Feature
Newly added in June of this year, the subclass feature allows you to choose from up to two other classes’ skill lines, in addition to your chosen base class, and experiment with a combination of skills.
Based on the total number of ESO classes and their associated skills, this is expected to result in over 3,000 possible combinations. This significantly expands your combat skill-set and allows for even more customized builds and styles.
While this will consume more skill points, as a solo player, you’ll have plenty of time to earn enough skill points by completing quests to unlock the desired class skills, allowing for maximum character customization.
More New Content
Since late 2024, Elder Scrolls Online has laid out several preliminary plans for its next decade. This means that even if you’ve been a ten-year veteran, you can still enjoy new content, much of which is still suitable for casual solo gameplay.
These are the reasons and methods for easily exploring solo play in ESO. We hope this will inspire you to explore your next game plans. Have fun!
