After the new patch, Dune Awakening Deep Desert is no longer just a playground for PVP players. PVE players can also come to this most fertile place to explore. You can get various precious materials such as spices and schematics here, but only if your tools can get them. So, when you come to Deep Desert, what items do you need to prepare?

Dune Awakening Deep Desert Essential Items: What Should You Bring?

Compact Compactor MK5

  • Duraluminum Ingot*37
  • EMF Generator*20
  • Silicone Block*40
  • Cobalt Paste*18
  • Thermoelectric Cooler*6
  • Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust*12
  • Water*450

Whether you plan to fight in Deep Desert or not, your ultimate goal is always to collect resources, so resource collection tools are essential.

Compact Compactor MK5 is a unique item. Its collection efficiency is not the highest, but it is relatively easy to attract worms. Another important reason to bring Compact Compactor MK5 is that both its schematics and materials are relatively easy to get. Its schematics can be found in Imperial Testing Stations No. 37 (A2) and No. 185 (A3) in Deep Desert.

Tarl Cutteray

  • Duraluminum Ingot*45
  • EMF Generator*20
  • Cobalt Paste*18
  • Ray Amplifier*12
  • Thermoelectric Cooler*8
  • Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust*10
  • Water*450

The cutteray is a must-have tool for players to mine minerals. Before you enter Deep Desert, you can’t get T6 Dune Awakening items and materials, so you need a good T5 item.

The advantage of Tarl Cutteray is that it can mine quite a lot of minerals, and its schematic is not difficult to get, and its crafting materials are not precious. You can find Tarl Cutteray’s schematics at Imperial Testing Station No. 71 in Hagga Basin or at the enemy camp near Stonestep Village.

Tarl Softstep Boots

  • Duraluminum Ingot*45
  • EMF Generator*20
  • Cobalt Paste*18
  • Ray Amplifier*12
  • Thermoelectric Cooler*8
  • Water*450

Tarl Softstep Boots are very useful when you are gathering spice. It can reduce the chance of attracting sandworms by 45%, giving you more time to gather spice.

All levels from A1 to A4 and A9 contain unique schematics for Tarl Softstep Boots. If you don’t have it yet, most Imperial Testing Stations have normal Softstep Boots schematics, which are enough.

Tier 5 Weapons And Armor

If you plan to cross the demarcation line and enter the PVP area directly, then you’d better bring some good equipment. Tier 5 equipment will meet your requirements. If you have a set of Tier 5 equipment, you will not die easily even if you enter a more dangerous Imperial Testing Station.

When fighting with you and the enemy, you can use more melee attacks, because Dune Awakening’s ranged weapons will be blocked by the shield, and melee weapons can almost ignore the shield.

However, one thing you need to pay attention to is that if you plan to mine materials, it is best not to bring your best equipment, because Dune Awakening’s network is not very stable. If you encounter sandworms when the network fluctuates and you cannot operate, you will lose all your equipment.

Decaliterjon

  • Aluminum Ingot*30
  • Micro-sandwich Fabric*8
  • Insulated Fabric*6
  • Water*255

Although this is only a Tier 4 item, it has high practical value. When you go to Deep Desert to collect spices and other materials during the day, you need to face the test of dehydration caused by high temperatures. Decaliterjon can allow you to replenish water in time and last longer.

The schematic diagram of Decaliterjon is everywhere in Hagga Basin. If you are too lazy to look for it, you can go to the trading station and exchange Dune Awakening Solari for Decaliterjon.

T5 Ornithopter Wing And Engine

In Deep Desert, the ornithopter is indispensable. Players can drive the ornithopter to detect materials in Deep Desert PVP area, then go down to collect materials, and finally escape before other players arrive.

The ornithopter is divided into Scout Ornithopter and Assault Ornithopter. But you know that they are not a whole, but composed of many parts. Before you enter Deep Desert, you can just put the other parts aside and replace your Ornithopter’s engine and wings with T5 first, which will enable you to rise, fly and glide faster.

Welding Torch Mk5

  • Duraluminum Ingot*32
  • Advanced Servoks*14
  • Cobalt Paste*16
  • Water*450

Speaking of transportation, you can’t forget the welding torch. As long as you use vehicles in the wild, they will wear out. The repair quality of Welding Torch Mk5 can reach 90%. When combined with Planetologist’s passive, Vehicle Repair, the durability of your ornithopter or other vehicles will decrease slowly, which is actually another way to save resources.

Deep Desert Base

If you want to improve the efficiency of your farming items, then a base in Deep Desert is essential. You can resupply, store supplies and refine your spices here.

The most important thing is to build a Spice Refinery, because Deep Desert is a rich source of spices, and you build a base here to process them as soon as possible.

Deep Desert now has a larger PVE area, so you can build your base in Area D or even Area E, but there is no need to make it too luxurious. After all, this area will reset every week.

Deep Desert is full of treasures, but also ambushes and dangers. If you are prepared in advance, these dangers will not be worth mentioning.
