Dune Awakening Best Aluminum Farming Locations: Where Can You Find It?
Looking at the many crafting materials you can obtain in Dune Awakening, Aluminum is probably the most important one, as it is one of the key ingredients for many end-game gear pairs that can give you high combat capabilities, and it is also a necessary part for making Duraluminum.
But unfortunately, the extremely high demand for Aluminum is completely disproportionate to the amount you can obtain in Arrakis, which will greatly slow down your exploration progress in the game, and even force it to regress.
So, this guide will recommend some collection points that allow you to achieve efficient farming of Aluminum and some pros and cons. In this way, you can easily create more and better gear, thereby increasing your political or economic influence in some big clans.
1. The Pillars, Jabal Eifrit Al-Garb
The first thing I recommend to you is Jabal Eifrit zone, which has the highest aluminum production in the entire game. This is one of the most difficult areas to enter in the middle and late stages of Dune Awakening: you need to pass through a huge quicksand pool and multiple sandworm disasters.
But after you get here with great difficulty, you will get a feast of mining precious ores. You may first see The Pillars just below Pinnacle Station, which is the largest concentration of Aluminum Veins in Hagga Rift.
The only drawback here is that you need to spend some Dune Awakening Solari to drive or hire an Ornithopter to get there. If you don’t have this kind of flying vehicle, you may need higher mobility and climbing ability to complete continuous mining, which is a very big test of your character’s endurance.
2. Hagga Rift
In addition to the specific collection points just mentioned, there are more Aluminum available for collection in the north of Hagga Rift. If you build your base directly near this collection area, you can also easily collect inexhaustible Cobalt Paste through the nearby Erythrite Crystal mines.
However, since the rock layers containing a lot of ore in the north end of the rift are far apart, you still need to use Ornithopter or keep climbing to achieve continuous mining. Here I recommend you go to the plateau near the west side, where there are many open areas for you to build a base.
So, if you want to get a lot of Aluminum as soon as possible to make tier 5 and above gear, then the plateau on the west side of Hagga Rift will be the best starting point. The most interesting and surprising thing is that the starting point for farming ore in this area is Rift Hideout, and the end point is World’s End PoI, which is very meaningful.

3. Pinnacle Station Zone
Aluminum tends to spawn in rock formations rather than on the ground, but after completing Trading Station Questline and unlocking Pinnacle Station, you can get a ton of this precious ore by riding around the area on a Sandbike.
In addition, you will rarely encounter people from the enemy camp or faction in Pinnacle Station. You only need to fight Sandflies and some Slavers, so you can avoid brutal encounters here and leisurely search for crafting materials you need for the late game.
However, if you want to farm more Dune Awakening Solari here, you can continue to ride Sandbike to Southern Comms and Sentinel City, which will provide you with some monster battles and Aluminum Ores for refining.
Given that you need a Sandbike all the time, the disadvantages of farming Aluminum in Pinnacle Station are also very obvious: the yield is low, and it requires more consumables such as gasoline and repair vehicles.
4. Eastern Shield Wall
In addition to the above areas, the plateau at the edge of the upper right corner of Eastern Shield Wall map also contains a lot of Aluminum for collection, and it is also recognized by many players as one of the most suitable locations for building bases.
Although you need to use better climbing skills or Ornithopter to achieve continuous collection here, some places here will refresh some Aluminum for you to collect every 10-15 minutes, which is inexhaustible.
If your skill level is not enough for you to climb up and down, you can use some practical Perks and Techniques nodes in Planetologist Skill Tree to allow you to collect more ore with minimal physical consumption.
Or use high-level and high-quality Cutteray turret to increase ore production, which can be made by using Duraluminum and other Tier 6 Mats. But please note that you need to go to Atreides Trader near Pinnacle Station to obtain its Unique Schematic first.
Of course, as the developers release more patches in Dune Awakening, there may be more gathering points in the game that allow you to effectively farm Aluminum. We will also continue to pay attention to the discovery of more profitable locations so that we can better help you advance your exploration process. I wish you a happy game!

Dune Awakening Best Character Leveling Guide: How To Quickly Reach The 200 Level Cap?
As a large survival sandbox game, Dune Awakening offers a lot of quests, crafting, combat, and a unique skill system for players to explore.
But not everything is available when you enter the game, some features are unlocked based on your character level. This means that if you want to enter the endgame and experience more advanced content, reaching higher levels is something you need to continue to pursue in the early stages of the game.
So, here, we will talk about how to reach the highest level in Dune Awakening, which is level 200, in the shortest time. I will show you all the convenient upgrade methods I have found.
Complete The Main And Side Quests
The first and most obvious way is to complete your main quest, which is Find the Fremen. This will take you through all Trials and finally to the end.
Then, we can also enter Assassin’s Handbook questline, which has many similar quests. Completing them will not only bring you a lot of Dune Awakening Solari and a lot of necessary survival resources, but also increase your level a lot.
I promise you will also unlock a lot of cool stuff as you level up. So if you haven’t done this quest yet, quickly add it to your quest list.
You will also notice that there is more content outside of the main questline, some of which you will unlock after joining a faction, whether it is Atreides or Harkonnen. Then, you will receive quests related to them.
In addition to this, there are objectives that require completing quests in different areas of The Deep Desert, such as The Sheol, Shield Wall & O’odham questline, and Miscellaneous quests. These are almost all unique things you can continue to do that you may not have done. So, check them carefully and don’t miss any opportunities to gain XP.
There are also a large number of side quests in Dune Awakening. These side quests can be received at each Trading Post. So, whenever you reach a Tradepost, be active in visiting all of them.
Also Read: Is Dune Awakening Worth Playing In 2025? - Multiple Aspects Of Analysis
When you travel to a Trading Post, you will see a very obvious virtual screen with a blue glow. You can interact with it here and accept any of its contracts.
This will give you a variety of side quests, each of which will reward you with valuable items, Solari and XP. And this is also where the class quests start.
There’s actually a lot to do here, and you’ll need to unlock a lot of skills to complete some of them each time you complete the quest objectives, and of course, there’s a good chance that they’ll come with rewards.
In this case, contacting Issuer and accepting the contract is our smartest choice, which will bring us 350 experience, some money and House Atreides reputation.
So if you’re new to the game, make sure you keep up your quests, as this is your biggest source of XP income.
Uncover Icons And Kill Enemies
The next two ways to get XP actually work better if you use them at the same time. One is passive, and the other requires more grinding.
The goal you should focus on is to understand all the locations on the map, such as Enemy Camp icons here. When you hover over each area, you’ll see that it gives you specific data on how many there are in the area and how many Enemy Camps you’ve discovered.
Almost every time you discover one of these locations, not only will you be there to get intel, but you’ll notice that every time you visit them, you’ll gain experience. You can actually just uncover the icon so it’s no longer grey on the map, and it’s a great way to gain XP, and it works a lot of the time.
Also, revealing some of the more secret locations will give you anywhere between 100 and 350 experience points. My advice is to prioritize revealing Green Icons, Enemy Camp Icons, and the little icons like Micro-Sandwich Fabric, which usually give a ton of XP.
Now, the second part of the trick is actually killing the enemies within all of these locations. Since you’re going to be visiting these locations anyway, killing enemies is a substantial form of XP farming.
Because every time you kill an enemy, you’ll gain 12-18 experience points, depending on the difficulty of the mission or how powerful they are. As long as your character is powerful enough, there’s nothing like earning experience by killing enemies.
Exploring New Areas In The Deep Desert
The last way to earn XP is in The Deep Desert, and the way this works is that you bring a Survey Probe Launcher along with some Survey Probes.
Because when you actually survey The Deep Desert map, it will reveal itself in a tile-by-tile fashion. So this actually shows the entire block, and if you zoom in a notch, you’ll see that it will show icons of where the blocks are inside, which are great in PVE areas.
At the start of The Deep Desert in the south, each new block you discover will earn you 100 XP. And the main purpose of Survey Probe is to discover previously unexplored areas of the world of Arrakis, clearing away the fog and revealing new points of interest. So, using these Utilities properly can make it easier for you to find these locations and earn experience.
Of course, you can also do this to the blocks north of The Deep Desert. But for the most part, what you can find directly in the desert is pretty limited, and most of the rest is probably buried deep down.
For example, when we scanned this area of The Deep Desert, there might be something hidden there. Although we can clearly see a crashed ship in the distance on the map, it’s mostly hidden.
If we go ahead and send Launcher, it will give us 25 seconds to explore the area. But we have to be careful during this process, because other players will see this Survey Probe in the sky and know that someone is scanning the area. You have to stay alert and avoid being attacked by opponents during the exploration.
Once you complete the scan, you will get 100 experience points for surveying the area. It will also show the icon of the area, and then you will see that there are three uncovered shipwreck locations here. So, this may mark something you didn’t know existed and slowly reveal the map for you.
These are almost the key ways you can get a lot of XP and level up quickly in Dune Awakening. It may be a little slow at the beginning, but be patient, as long as you find the right farming method for you, then reaching the level cap is not far away!

Dune Awakening 10 Great Unique Tools: How Do They Improve Your Productivity?
In Dune Awakening, the main gameplay is to collect supplies and fight, and fighting is also to plunder more resources. If you want to collect supplies more efficiently, then you must have some useful tools.
Dune Awakening is very imaginative in tool design, but it also makes players confused about which tools are the best. Is the higher the level, the better? Most of the time, you can understand it this way, but there are also differences between Dune Awakening items of the same level.
1. Tarl Cutteray
- 45*Duraluminum Ingot
- 20*EMF Generator
- 18*Cobalt Paste
- 12*Ray Amplifier
- 8*Thermoelectric Cooler
- 10*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 450*Water
Tarl Cutteray is a T5 gathering tool. Its efficiency in collecting ore is very high, close to the level of T6 tools, but it does not require Spice Melange. Spice Melange is a very precious resource that most players try hard not to use, so Tarl Cutteray is a great tool for gathering.
Another great thing about Tarl Cutteray is that you don’t have to leave Hagga Basin to find its schematic. You can find both items at Imperial Test Stations 60 and 71 in the northwest.
2. Focused Reaper Mk.5
- 40*Duraluminum Ingot
- 14*EMF Generator
- 40*Silicone Block
- 18*Cobalt Paste
- 8*Industrial Pump
- 12*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 450*Water
Water is very important in Dune Awakening. Not only do you need to replenish water, but most of the items you craft also require water. Focused Reaper Mk.5 is your best tool for gathering water. It can collect more water from plants, but it will slightly reduce the area where the resource can be collected.
Getting its schematic is a bit challenging. You have to go into Deep Desert and search for Imperial Test Stations 217 and 186. You’d better bring more helpers to avoid being robbed of your equipment by other players.
3. The Emperor’s Wings Mk.4
- 16*Aluminum Ingot
- 40*Particle Capacitor
- 16*Cobalt Paste
- 18*Holtzman Actuator
- 12*Spice-infused Aluminum Dust
- 254*Water
A suspensor belt is a must-have for most players in the game. It can provide you with a short-term buoyancy. Whether it is fighting or exploring, it is almost indispensable.
You can farm it in Hagga Basin. Its schematic is distributed in the four outposts of Southern Comms, The Aegis, Password of Artemis and The Beast’s Claw.
4. The Emperor’s Wings Mk.5
- 40*Duraluminum Ingot
- 25*Particle Capacitor
- 21*Cobalt Paste
- 9*Holtzman Actuator
- 14*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 510*Water
The Emperor’s Wings Mk.5 is an upgraded version of the Mk.4, but its schematic is also in Imperial Test Stations 217 and 186.
5. Maas Kharet Bloodbag
- 21*Duraluminum Ingot
- 25*Micro-sandwich Fabric
- 7*Plant Fiber
- 9*Insulated Fabric
- 14*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 510*Water
In Dune Awakening, you need not only various Dune Awakening items to keep your base running, but you also need water or blood. Maas Kharet Bloodbag is a Tier 5 item, and its blood collection capacity is astonishing 22,000 ml. The capacity of Tier 6 Massive Blood Sack is 24000 ml, which is not much larger than that of Maas Kharet Bloodbag.
The schematic of Maas Kharet Bloodbag is also in Deep Desert, and you can find them in 93 and 148 of the Imperial Test Station.
6. Compact Compactor Mk.5
- 37*Duraluminum Ingot
- 20*EMF Generator
- 40*Silicone Block
- 18*Cobalt Paste
- 6*Thermoelectric Cooler
- 12*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 450*Water
Compact Compactor is an item that every player needs to use, because it can collect Flour Sand on open sandy land, which is the raw material of Silicone Blocks. Collecting Flour Sand is somewhat dangerous because it may attract sandworms. The advantage of Compact Compactor Mk.5 is that it is quiet.
The schematic of Compactor Mk.5 can be found at Imperial Stations 185 and 37 in Deep Desert.
7. Impure Extractor Mk.5
- 40*Duraluminum Ingot
- 14*EMF Generator
- 8*Industrial Pump
- 18*Cobalt Paste
- 12*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 450*Water
Impure Extractor Mk.5 is very efficient at extracting blood from enemies. You can extract 6,000 ml of Impure Extractor Mk.5 blood from each corpse, and it can also add a toxin effect to almost all of your weapons (except the flamethrower).
Impure Extractor Mk.5 schematics are found in Wreck of the Archidamas III (A3), Wreck of the Proxenus (A7), and Wreck of the Stasanor (A9) in Deep Desert.
8. Focused Buggy Cutteray Mk.5
- 110*Duraluminum Ingot
- 50*Particle Capacitor
- 40*Cobalt Paste
- 26*Ray Amplifier
- 13*Thermoelectric Cooler
- 26*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 1010*Water
Focused Buggy Cutteray Mk.5 can increase your yield of collected materials, and it can improve efficiency without any side effects.
The schematics of Focused Buggy Cutteray Mk.5 appear in the same areas as Impure Extractor Mk.5. If you are lucky, you can find both of them at the same time.
9. Bluddshot Buggy Engine Mk.5
- 85*Duraluminum Ingot
- 40*Cobalt Paste
- 25*Particle Capacitor
- 36*Complex Machinery
- 26*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 13*Hydraulic Piston
- 1010*Water
In the game, Buggy is usually slower than Sandbike, but it can carry more Dune Awakening items and has high defense, making it an important vehicle tool for players to collect. Bluddshot Buggy Engine Mk.5 allows your Buggy to run faster, allowing you to quickly get from one resource point to another, significantly increasing your farming speed.
You can find schematics in Wreck of the Delphis and Wreck of the Euporia in Hagga Basin.
10. Bigger Buggy Boot Mk.5
- 85*Duraluminum Ingot
- 25*Advanced Servoks
- 25*Cobalt Paste
- 19*Spice-infused Duraluminum Dust
- 1010*Water
The name is simple and understandable, isn’t it? Its function is to allow your Buggy to carry more items. Bigger Buggy Boot Mk.5 maximum capacity is 2750, and with it you don’t need to return to the base frequently to unload. Its schematic location is at Edge of Acheron.
The above are 10 very useful unique items you can find in Dune Awakening. They will not bring you much combat improvement, but can greatly improve your experience of farming materials.

Dune Awakening Best Skills For Fast Travel: What Should You Choose?
In the recently popular Dune Awakening, players need to use all resources to survive and develop in Arrakis, which has a harsh environment and a vast desert. Since the characters you use in the game need to avoid sandstorms in time and quickly collect some resources to complete the exploration, you should choose a build that can travel quickly.
Unlike common Action Role-Playing Games, the skills of each class in Dune Awakening are universal, and you only need to complete some tasks to unlock the specified classes to use them. Not only that, there are also some special skill nodes in the game that can provide you with gains for you to activate, which are all important options for you to make the best build.
In order to reduce the cost of time and Dune Awakening Solari that you spend on trying the best skills, techniques, and passive skills options, here we will introduce some options that can make your transportation ability the strongest according to the latest patches and versions, so that you can complete the campaign faster and enter the more challenging endgame.
Initial Class Skills
While each class has some skills that allow you to move faster when they first appear, you should focus more on the skill trees of Bene Gesserit or Trooper, either of which can fill your character with energy, making early desert exploration easier.
Depending on the location of the trainer for each class, it is recommended that you start with Bene Gesserit, as this trainer is located in Harko Village, which is in Vermillius Gap north of Griffin’s Tradepost that you need to visit when completing the initial quest chain.
Bene Gesserit skill tree is divided into 3 branches, of which Weirding Way and Body Control branches are very helpful for fast travel. Similarly, Trooper skill tree is also divided into 3 branches, of which Suspensor Training and Gunnery branches are more in line with this theme.
Here are the nodes you can activate on their skill trees and their specific effects.
Bene Gesserit
- Bindu Sprint: Run forward at high speed for a few seconds.
- Sun Tolerance: Reduces the negative effects of sun exposure while exploring or gathering, including heat stroke and dehydration.
- Recovery: Increases the speed at which you recover from serious injuries.
- Self-Healing: Increases the effectiveness of any healing methods you use, such as health packs or bandages.
Trooper
- Anti-Gravity Field: Creates a sphere that negates the effects of gravity on anyone and anything, making it impossible for enemies to attack normally and reducing the fall damage you take when climbing.
- Suspensor Dash: With the help of Anti-Gravity Field, you can dash forward in mid-air.
- Field Maintenance: Advanced tools and weapons will now be more durable, allowing you to explore the desert for longer.
Planetologist
As you explore further, you’ll quickly find that your initial skills aren’t enough to allow you to travel fast, so you’ll need to unlock Planetologist skill tree, which contains some of the best observation, exploring, and repairing skills.
To unlock this set of skills, you’ll need to travel to Imperial Testing Station #2, due east of Griffin’s Reach, and speak to the lone, named Derek Chinara inside to complete the simple quest of finding and returning a set of important lab records lost in the ruins below.
From there, you can pick the skill nodes you need from the still-three-branch skill tree, which are generally found on Explorer and Mechanic branches. Here are the specific node names and their effects.
- Suspensor Pad: Allows you to increase your height by a few feet when surveying or looking far away.
- Mountaineer: Reduces the stamina consumption of your climbing by up to 25%.
- Cartographer: Provides you with a submerged map of important locations in any given zone, but you need to have a blank submerged map in your inventory.
- Vehicle Repair: Reduces the maximum durability loss of your vehicle during exploration.
- Fuel Efficient Driver: Improves the efficiency of all land vehicles, giving you more time to explore and collect resources.
Swordmaster Skills
In the later game content of Dune Awakening, you can go to Pinnacle Station in Eastern Shield Wall region and visit Swordmaster trainer Arno to learn more skills that make transportation and survival easier.
But it is worth reminding you that before unlocking these skills, you need to complete a series of quests given by Arno, which all require you to travel quickly on a large map. So you need to unlock all the previous fast travel skills before starting the quest, or save enough Dune Awakening Solari to hire ornithopter to complete these quests.
Compared with the first two, the skills that Swordmaster gives you to improve your ability to travel quickly are all on The Way branch, which will be more convenient for you to find. These are the skill nodes worth recommending to you.
- Optimized Hydration: After you keep your character hydrated, it will increase your stamina, making it easier to climb and sprint.
- Field Medicine: Increases the benefits of all healing packs by a minimum of 10% and a maximum of 20%.
- Disciplined Breathing: Increases the speed at which your stamina regenerates.
- General Conditioning: Increases your overall stamina, making you better at sprinting and climbing.
These are the recommended active and passive skill options that allow you to travel quickly in Dune Awakening. I hope that with their help, you can complete the designated exploration tasks as soon as possible and expand your base and influence, so as to achieve your own glorious cause. I wish you a happy game!

Dune Awakening Starting Build: How To Get Through The Early Stages Of The Game Efficiently?
When you first start playing Dune Awakening, whether you have mastered some theoretical knowledge from the movie or novel, from a practical point of view you are a complete novice. Every inch of the planet Arrakis is unfamiliar to you.
As the main quest progresses, you will learn more skills and the necessary knowledge to survive, and obtain Dune: Awakening items with different uses. But they are generally “scattered”, and you need to combine them in the form of a build to form a 1+1 greater than 2 effect.
Based on this, this time we will recommend a starting build that is suitable for you to utilize in the early stages of the game, so that you can enter a higher level of the game as soon as possible.
Choose The Right Class
In theory, it is feasible to choose any class, but if you are a player with a very clear goal, everything is for winning, then you should choose the class that is most suitable for the early stage, to complete the accumulation of resources and Solari as soon as possible.
The classes in Dune Awakening include Swordmaster, Mentat, Bene Gesserit, Trooper and Planetologist, of which Planetologist can only be unlocked after you complete a part of the game’s quests.
In comparison, Trooper is the best class for starting builds, because only its mentor can be found immediately in the starting area of Hagga Basin, allowing you to master the available skills as soon as possible.
It is worth noting that although the game does not allow you to change classes midway, you can find mentors belonging to other classes to learn related skills. Therefore, after mastering Trooper skills, it is recommended that you go to Imperial Testing Station No. 2 to find Planetologist trainer and master additional Planetologist skills.
Trooper and its skills have reliable damage output capabilities and mobility, which can help you complete basic battles in the early stages to earn currency or items. The advantage of Planetologist is exploration and resource collection, which is good for you to craft tools or build bases later.
Equip The Best Gear
After determining the class, you should choose gear based on the class characteristics when matching the build. As a class with combat as its main feature, Trooper is good at medium-range combat and demolition, but in fact, melee weapons are also indispensable.
In the early stage of the game, many enemies will be equipped with shields. Since they can deflect bullets, if you only carry guns, you may not be able to resolve the battle in a short time. So you’d better bring a knife or dagger to attack the enemy at close range, even if they have guns, this combat method is effective.
So when you have a hard time finding a breakthrough through gunfights, click the right mouse button to raise your arm to block and stun the enemy, then hold down the left button to utilize your heavy melee cold weapon to pierce the enemy’s shield and kill them.
Of course, long-range weapons are also indispensable. You can choose and equip a variety of shotguns, pistols or assault rifles according to your preferences, and utilize them to kill enemies with knives but no shields, or clean up those enemies who shoot down from high places.
Craft Heal Kit
In addition to attacking enemies with weapons, you also need to utilize appropriate forces to protect or heal yourself. In Dune Awakening, crafting a heal kit is a good self-healing solution.
During the exploration process, you may be injured by enemy attacks, or lose health due to accidental falls or dehydration. At this time, you can combine various materials, including plant fibers, and utilize tools to make a heal kit to heal yourself.
Bring Your Vehicle
As you can see from the map, Dune: Awakening provides an endless open world, and most of the terrain is desert, so it is not only time-consuming to explore, but also easy to get lost.
Fortunately, the game allows you to build and ride vehicles! These vehicle types include land and air, and you can choose according to your needs. Take Deep Desert as an example. There is quicksand around this area, so you can only go there by Ornithopters.
In fact, in addition to being a means of transportation, the vehicles in the game can also provide combat assistance. For example, you can equip Buggy and Assault Ornithopter with heavy artillery in PVP mode. The side effect is that they will be slower.
There are also vehicles, such as Sandcrawler or Carrier Ornithopter, that can help you gather and harvest resources, protecting you from natural disasters in the process.
Other Tips
After completing the above, your Dune Awakening starting build is basically complete, which should be enough for you to complete most of the early content smoothly. But at the same time, you also need to know a few survival tips:
Collect as much water as possible, especially to master the method of collecting blood and converting it into water through Blood Purifier as soon as possible.
Avoid sandworms as much as possible when you are not capable. These monsters that move around in the desert are sometimes deadly, and you will lose everything if they eat you.
The above is the content related to Dune Awakening starting build introduced to you this time. If you happen to have just started playing for a while, please follow the guide and try it out!

Dune Awakening PVE Mode In Deep Desert: How To Enter And Play?
After entering Dune: Awakening, generally speaking, your first task is to follow the guidance of the main quest to familiarize yourself with this strange planet and survive in the desert by learning skills and survival techniques.
Later, as your level continues to increase, your character will become stronger. In order to allow you to continue to get the pleasure of challenging difficulty at this stage, the game sets up the unique land of Deep Desert.
Deep Desert is actually a huge endgame area, including both PVE and PVP. It is not within the scope of ordinary maps, and the challenge is high, only suitable for hardcore players who seek excitement.
Corresponding to the high difficulty, you will get more Dune Awakening items after winning the battle in Deep Desert, especially the precious spice! In fact, this may be the largest source of spice drops in the game.
Based on this, we will introduce you to the method of entering Deep Desert and the skills of survival here, as well as suggestions for dealing with PVE mode.
How To Enter Deep Desert?
This location is located at the northernmost end of the entire Dune: Awakening. It is quite remote and surrounded by quicksand. It is dangerous to walk or pass by land vehicles, so it is best to take the vehicle Ornithopter to get there.
When you are ready, take the Ornithopter to any direction of the map (the west is more convenient), and then the system will pop up a blue barrier and a message asking if you want to go to the world map. After confirming, you will enter the map, and your Ornithopter will appear as a small flying icon. Just follow the path.
Deep Desert has three different entrances, which are generally distributed at the south end, marked by purple lines under the desert mark. If you are playing alone, you can freely choose the entrance according to your preference; but if you are entering in a team, it is best to negotiate with your teammates.
It should be noted that water and fuel will be consumed every second during the flight, but you can resupply at water and fuel supply stations scattered along the way, so don’t worry too much.
How To Experience PVE Mode In Deep Desert?
There are 6 PVE areas in Deep Desert. No matter which one you plan to go to, you need to know that: first, the overall difficulty is relatively high, and it will be better to enter in a team; second, the main purpose of all of them is to farm spice.
In addition to spice, you can also get Duraluminum and Plastanium blueprints as rewards through PVE mode. In fact, another advantage of entering in a team is that each team member can get a complete reward after the loot drops, without having to share it equally like PVP.
When exploring all PVE areas, you also have the opportunity to get good gear and tools through random battles, such as Station Gauntlets, Advanced Reaper Gloves, Assault Boost Module M Mark, Mark 5 booster and more.
If your main farming goal is spice, then please observe the map carefully. When purple spice plumes appear, it means that there is a lot of spice available for mining in the corresponding location.
It is worth noting that there are two shipwrecks in PVE area that are actually PVP in nature, but they also hide a lot of good things. If you don’t want to fight with real players, you don’t have to enter, but to be honest, most players won’t attack here - everyone is busy looking for loot.
Tips For Surviving In Deep Desert
Of course, in PVP mode, you need to be careful of attacks from other players at all times, but in PVE, in addition to dealing with regular enemies, you also need to know some additional survival tips.
Zone Changes
From the map alone, there is no obvious dividing line between PVP and PVE areas. Therefore, in order to avoid being involved in inexplicable PVP battles, you need to pay attention to the zone change information and the description in the upper right corner of the screen during flight.
Scan Tiles To Gain XP
In addition to being divided according to gameplay, Deep Desert itself is actually a tile-based area. It is divided into 81 different tiles, and you can utilize the detector to scan them one by one to earn XP. Although this method is boring and time consuming, it does not rely on crafting and fighting, and the risk and difficulty are very low.
Regular Reset
The distribution of all tiles in Deep Desert will be reset every Tuesday morning through Coriolis Storms. After that, all PVE areas will be disrupted and reorganized, and the distribution of resources will also change accordingly, which means that you can’t explore again with the experience of the previous week.
In addition to resetting everything in Deep Desert, Coriolis Storms will also destroy your base, vehicles or other items left here. To be honest, even if you have extra resources and enough ability, it is not recommended to build a base here.
Carry Useful Tools
Not only the enemies, but also the weather and geographical conditions in Deep Desert are changing rapidly. Therefore, you must bring targeted items into here to ensure your safety, such as:
- Respawn Beacon: In case you accidentally enter PVP area and get killed.
- Stilltent: Avoid sudden storms.
- Vehicle Fuel Cells: Refuel your Ornithopter in time.
- Literjons: Since the temperature level of Deep Desert reaches 5, you need to carry a lot of water, and Literjons are the most practical portable water storage tool.
- Thumper: When you farm items in Deep Desert, sandworms will appear from time to time. Thumper can disperse them and reduce the threat to you.
- Static Compactor: One of the essential tools for collecting spice.
Even if you have mastered all the above, it is recommended that you go to Deep Desert when your character’s ability is reliable enough to avoid unnecessary losses. Have fun!
