CoD Black Ops 7 Endgame Mode Leveling Guide | How To Boost Combat Rating And Upgrade Weapons Quickly?

Most of the content in CoD Black Ops 7 is similar to CoD BO6. Its only real breakthrough is the new Endgame mode.
Endgame mode is currently the most popular mode among players. It's somewhat of a combination of Warzone and Zombies modes, and also shares some similarities with shoot-and-takeout games, but it's purely PvE. Let's discuss how to quickly increase your Combat Rating and earn XP efficiently.

Endgame Mode Guide
You need to complete the entire campaign of the base game to unlock Endgame mode. If you have already unlocked this mode, you can invite other players who haven't unlocked it to team up with you.
In this mode, if you and your entire squad are eliminated without any self-revive, the penalty is very severe. Your operator's Combat Rating will be reset to 0, and you will lose all equipment, requiring you to start from scratch to find new weapons.
However, compared to DMZ and Modern Warfare Zombies, Endgame has one advantage: if you are downed but the rest of your squad survives, you can redeploy and retrieve all your equipment within 30 seconds.
However, according to player feedback, this mode is not very stable and has many bugs. If the game crashes or you disconnect, you will lose all your equipment, including your Combat Rating and weapons brought in during extraction.
Thera is still an extraction bug occurs when a teammate initiates extraction independently, forcibly pulling the entire squad out of the game, whereas normally players should have the option not to extract with the squad. There are also instances where the extraction transport abandons players, bouncing them back onto the map, or simply doesn't come to pick them up.
Combat Rating
Combat Rating can be increased to a maximum of 60, which is the maximum level for a single operator. Increasing Combat Rating unlocks numerous skills, which exist in the form of skill trees, allowing players to choose a path to enhance their operator.
Players earn Power (a blue sphere) by defeating enemies and completing objectives in Endgame. Collecting Power is the only way to increase your Combat Rating.
Each time you reach a new milestone, you can choose the next upgrade from two available skill trees. You'll receive significant damage boosts at Combat Rating levels 10, 20, 30, and 45. These boosts are crucial for entering higher tier zones and apply to any weapon you use, independent of your chosen skills.
It's recommended that you develop as many different operators as possible and unlock their skills and abilities during the preseason.
Weapon Rarity System
Before entering higher tier zones, it's recommended to acquire weapons of higher rarity. Rarity, from lowest to highest, is roughly as follows:
- Common (Gray)
- Uncommon (Green)
- Rare (Blue)
- Epic (Purple)
- Legendary (Orange)
- Exotic (Red)
After clearing a command center on the map, you can find workbenches to upgrade weapon rarity. There are purple workbenches in Tier 3 zone, which can upgrade to Epic. And there are orange workbenches in Tier 4 zone, which can upgrade your weapon to Legendary. If another squad in the same game opens a command center first, you can also use that workbench for free.
In Endgame mode, AAROW 109 Launcher is very useful. With the high combat level damage bonus, this weapon can efficiently handle elite enemies and the endgame boss. It is recommended to use it as your starting weapon and prioritize upgrading it to Legendary rarity at the command center.
How To Level Up Quickly?
On the map, you'll see different markers. Blue markers represent major in-game activities, which are longer objectives and reward a large amount of XP. Green markers represent side missions or contracts, similar to Warzone or previous extraction modes.
Guild Hunters
If you complete too many objectives in a game without extracting, you might attract the attention of Guild Hunters. These include powerful enemies like VTOL Warship and Rhino, which are difficult even for max-level, fully equipped players. Therefore, it's recommended to extract before the countdown reaches approximately 15 minutes to avoid unnecessary risks.
It's advisable to carry a grappling hook, as it allows for rapid movement. Combined with a wingsuit, it enables efficient map traversal and allows you to complete more objectives.
XP And Weapon Level Farm
In Tier 3 zone, reinforcements of regular Fear zombies repeatedly spawn. You can kill them in large numbers by circling the hilly areas of these regions. Fear will continuously spawn, providing a near-infinite number of leveling targets.
You can simultaneously increase your Combat Rating, weapon prestige level (the level after a weapon reaches its maximum level), player level, and battle pass progression. This is extremely efficient when combined with double weapon XP tokens.
The official release also confirms a 25% faster progression rate. This bonus is significant in Endgame mode, but less noticeable in multiplayer and Zombies modes. If you need to level up or unlock camouflage in multiplayer or Zombies mode, you can use CoD Black Ops 7 bot lobbies for an easier leveling experience.
Final Strategy
To avoid losses from crashes and disconnections and to progress quickly, it's recommended to always carry an arrow launcher.
If you're playing solo, it's best to progress gradually, from Tier 1 Zone to Tier 4 Zone, increasing your Combat Rating and unlocking Command Center workbench.
If you're playing in a team, a high-level teammate can take you directly to Tier 4 Zone Command Center to instantly upgrade your weapon to legendary.
Once you have high-rarity weapons and a high Combat Rating, you can continuously farm Fear Zombies in Tier 3 zones to quickly upgrade your weapon and Combat Rating. Simultaneously complete blue and green objectives and contracts.
You can also switch weapons at any time to quickly upgrade other weapons that require camouflage farming. It's recommended to perform extractions in Tier 3 zones to obtain more rewards.
This is a simple beginner's guide to leveling up in Endgame mode. Once your operator rank reaches 45 or higher, you can try soloing the final boss. It's recommended to challenge it 9 times to unlock skins for each eligible operator.
