ARC Raiders Stash Management Guide | How To Save Space, Upgrade Workshops, And Use Resources Efficiently?

ARC Raiders is currently one of the most popular third-person multiplayer extraction shooters. Combat isn't your primary objective; your goal is to successfully extract with loots.
While maps like Spaceport and The Blue Gate are rich in loot, the amount you can carry each time is limited. If you have a slight hoarding tendency, you'll likely experience the frustration of deciding what to discard. So, let's look at how to better manage your Stash and make the most of its space.

Stash And Saving Space
When you've completed your extraction, you can place your supplies into your Stash. Its space is limited, starting with 64 slots and increasing to a maximum of 280 slots, currently unattainable by any means.
The way to expand your Stash is using ARC Raiders coins, which you can obtain by selling loot. As you add more slots, the number of coins required for the next slot also increases, with the final expansion taking 200,000 coins.
Item Useage
Of course, besides expanding your inventory slots, coins are also used when trading weapons and ammunition with merchants. Therefore, players don't always have enough coins to upgrade their inventory, so it's important to learn how to save slots.
In Stash, your resources are categorized by tags, and hovering your mouse over an item will display its crafting recipe. You can see what items they can be used to make. If you're short on space, you can use them to free up space.
However, this hint isn't complete; it doesn't show the item's use in quests or Workshop upgrades. Some ARC Raiders items are only indicated as recyclable materials, but they might actually be urgently needed later in the game.
Merge Stacks
You can use Merge Stacks in Stash to merge stackable but scattered items, instantly freeing up 1-2 slots.
Submitting Resources
Workshop Upgrades
In the upper right corner of Workshop Station interface, you can view the materials needed for upgrades. All of these materials must be kept in Stash; you cannot submit only a portion, you must collect them all.
Expedition Project
Another space-saving feature in Stash is Expedition Project, which unlocks at level 20. Its function is to reset your progress and save some of your account's rewards. However, you can ignore its true function and treat it as a dumping ground, submitting only the items you need.
Once submitted, the item no longer occupies storage space. It's recommended to prioritize submitting low-level materials, such as metal and rubber parts, to free up space for higher-level materials.

What Resources Are Needed?
If you understand how to store, allocate, and use resources, let's discuss which resources you primarily need. Besides selling them for coins, these items are mainly used for crafting equipment and upgrading your workshop.
Scrappy, The Rooster
First is Scrappy, a rooster that stays in your workshop and collects various resources for you when you go out exploring. Scrappy has 5 tiers:
- Fledgling
- Forager
- Scavenger
- Treasure Hunter
- Master Hoarder
As the tier increases, the basic resources it brings back gradually increase, along with Assorted Seeds. A Master Hoarder Scrappy can bring back 8-15 various basic resources per scavenge.
The key challenge in upgrading it to T5 is finding 12 Mushrooms and 12 Apricots, among other items. You can preview the entire map before entering a match by clicking the Inspect, without loading the game, and then check for Wicker Baskets.
Don't rely solely on locations marked with Nature icon on the map. Whenever the map status shows Lush Blooms, go look for Baskets. These baskets contain a large amount of random fruit (such as lemons, apricots, and mushrooms), yielding 6-7 at a time, far more efficiently than searching individually.
Workbench
Medical Lab is one of the hardest workshops to upgrade, so try to save these materials during your search:
- Rusted Shut Medical Kit: A rare item that upgrades Medical Lab to level 3.
- Cracked Bioscanner: A rare item that upgrades Medical Lab to level 2.
In addition, there are other rare items such as Laboratory Reagents, Fried Motherboard, Toasters, and Motors, which are materials needed to upgrade Refining Workshop and Gunsmith Workshop.
Pay special attention to Rusted Gears; they are very scarce and difficult to find later in the game, so remember not to discard or sell them.
Stash Saving Methods
Now that your stash and inventory are full of resources, the next step is to figure out how to utilize them and save space.
Prioritize upgrading Refinery among all workshops. It can synthesize large quantities of low-level materials into higher-level materials that take up less space.
For example, ARC Alloys, which drop in large quantities on ACR, can quickly fill your storage. In Refiner 3, you can craft one ARC Circuitry using 6 ARC Alloys, and ARC Circuitries can be stacked up to five.
This saves space compared to 5 ARC Circuitries, effectively using up 30 ARC Alloys and significantly reducing space consumption. Other craftable materials include:
- Advanced Electrical Components
- Durable Cloth
- Crude Explosives
- Mod Components
However, be careful not to over-craft; retain a certain amount of basic materials, as some recipes still require them.
Advanced craftable materials also have uses. For example, Arc Circuitry and Power Rods are used to craft and repair medium and heavy shields. Advanced Electrical Components are used to craft Surge Shield Rechargers.
1 Surge Shield Recharger can fully repair a medium shield, and two can fully repair a heavy shield, and it's much more efficient than using a regular shield recharger.
Your stash can easily fill up with resources if you're not careful, so you should regularly use Merge Stacks and crafting to optimize your stash, and pay close attention to basic materials that are consumed in large quantities.
