Get Your BiS Gear Today: Forge Unstoppable Builds in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred!
Lord of Hatred expansion, launched on April 27 at 4:00 p.m. PDT, marks one of the most transformative chapters in Diablo 4's history. Beyond its dark narrative campaign, the expansion introduces deeply intricate crafting mechanics that completely redefine the game’s endgame experience. From the return of Horadric Cube to a comprehensive expansion of the difficulty curve, Sanctuary has never been more perilous, nor more rewarding.
- New Classes: Lord of Hatred introduces two brand-new classes: the holy warrior Paladin and the demonic summoner Warlock. Paladin’s combat style focuses on shield-based warfare, while Warlock excels at manipulating chains and flames.
- Echoing Hatred: A highly challenging new endgame activity. In this mode, players face wave after wave of endless demonic hordes, with difficulty levels constantly escalating. The longer you survive, the more bountiful your rewards will be.
- Loot System Overhaul: This expansion not only introduces the all-new Talisman system, allowing you to socket Charms with various attributes into dedicated slots to create powerful, highly customized builds, but also brings back Horadric Cube, enabling you to upgrade magical items into high-tier Unique gear.
- Unique Item Adjustments: Now, both Unique and Mythic items can undergo Tempering. Even if an item’s initial affixes aren’t perfect, you can personally forge it into an impeccable, Best-in-Slot masterpiece.
- War Plans: This system allows players to select a personalized quest list comprising five specific endgame activities. Not only does each activity feature a dedicated skill tree for players to customize their rewards, but the system also teleports players directly to the next objective location, significantly reducing the time spent searching the map for targets.
- Torment Difficulty Expansion: Torment difficulty tier has been expanded from Level 4 to Level 12. Torment Level 12 is equivalent to Tier 100 of The Pit difficulty, offering the absolute highest drop rates for Unique items. Prepare to face the ultimate test!
- Optimized Navigation Experience: With the all-new Map Overlay and Pathfinding systems, you can now effortlessly explore every corner of Sanctuary. Customize your map’s transparency and follow real-time on-screen waypoints, say goodbye to the frustration of having to interrupt the flow of combat just to check your location.
The gates to a new pinnacle of power, the realm of Lord of Hatred, have now opened. Get ready to upgrade your gear, master the mysteries of Horadric Cube, and face the most formidable foes Sanctuary has ever known!
Stock up on D4S13 Materials: Dominate the Tower & Maximize Your Power in Season of Reckoning!
Diablo 4 Season 13, Season of Reckoning, sweeps across Sanctuary on April 27th at 4:30 PDT. Unlike previous seasonal updates, D4S13 does not introduce an exclusive seasonal questline or unique mechanics; instead, it focuses on a series of major system upgrades, including a comprehensive overhaul of Skill Tree and Class mechanics, an increased level cap, difficulty and progression updates, quality-of-life improvements, and more.
- Season Rank: Forget about those convoluted, flashy seasonal mechanics. Season of Reckoning introduces nine distinct Ranks and 100 Objectives, designed to reward the natural exploration and progression you undertake throughout your journey. Complete these objectives to earn Masterworking materials, exclusive Mount Trophies, and prestigious Titles to showcase your honor.
- Max Level 70: Starting with S13, the new level cap for Diablo 4 characters has been raised to Level 70, regardless of whether or not you own the expansion, allowing for further character growth and deeper build customization.
- Class Reworks: Druids can now directly control their Shapeshifting via Skill Tree, allowing you to seamlessly switch between Werewolf, Werebear, and Human forms at will! Necromancer can finally issue commands to their Skeletal Warriors to precisely lock onto targets, while automatically summoning their skeletal army to join the fray.
- Tower and Leaderboards Return: The Tower and Leaderboard Beta kicks off on April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. PDT. We’ve introduced a host of new environments, monsters, and bosses, designed to keep the Tower experience feeling fresh and keep you constantly on your toes. Unlock rewards as you achieve personal milestones or climb the Season Ranks.
- Loot Filter: The long-awaited Loot Filter has finally arrived! With this handy tool, you can hide, display, or color-code gear items, whether they drop in the field or reside in your inventory, stash, or at a vendor.
Join the Battle of Reckoning now and experience firsthand the most polished Diablo 4 seasonal update to date, and prepare to carve your own immortal legend into the hallowed halls of Sanctuary!

Q: Which items were removed from and added to Diablo 4 Season 13?
A: With the launch of Lord of Hatred, the item system in D4S13 has undergone its most significant overhaul since the game's release.
First, the materials for Lair Boss Keys have been unified. In previous versions, each boss required its own unique set of materials - a system that led to severe inventory bloat. Consequently, all Lair Boss materials have now been streamlined into two standardized keys: the Lair Key and the Greater Lair Key. These are used to unlock the Hoards dropped by Initiate-tier and Greater Lair Bosses, respectively. The materials that have been removed include:
- Shard of Agony
- Exquisite Blood
- Malignant Heart
- Distilled Fear
- Living Steel
- Pincushioned Doll
- Abhorrent Hearts
- Judicator's Mask
- Stygian Stones
Second, the equipment system has undergone a major revamp. In Season 13, several old Runes with extremely low utility have been removed, alongside a large number of redundant Resistance Elixirs and low-tier Incenses.
The newly added item types focus primarily on Talismans; these feature six dedicated slots and provide incredibly powerful global buffs. Also making a return is the classic Horadric Cube, which now allows you to reforge Unique gear, extract affixes, or upgrade gems. Finally, Season 13 introduces over 30 new exclusive Unique items designed to fill the power gaps left by the removal of passive skills.
Whether you want to instantly unlock these new Unique items or acquire a new Lair Key to open a boss chest, IGGM offers you the best shortcuts - featuring almost every D4 item for sale!
Diablo 4 Lair Boss System Guide | Unlock All Boss Hoards in Season 13 & Lord of Hatred!
In Diablo 4 Season 13, Lair Boss System is divided into three difficulty tiers: Initiate, Greater, and Exalted. Each tier reflects both the difficulty of the combat encounter and the quality of the rewards you will receive. After defeating a boss, you will need a specific key material to unlock the dropped Hoard chest:
- Varshan (Initiate): Lair Key x 1
- Grigoire (Initiate): Lair Key x 1
- Beast in the Ice (Initiate): Lair Key x 1
- Lord Zir (Initiate): Lair Key x 1
- Urivar (Initiate): Lair Key x 1
- Duriel (Greater): Greater Lair Key x 1
- Andariel (Greater): Greater Lair Key x 1
- Harbinger of Hatred (Greater): Greater Lair Key x 1
- Bloody Butcher (Greater): Greater Lair Key x 1
- Belial (Exalted): Betrayer’s Husk x 2
- Mephisto (Exalted): Crux of the False Prophet x 1
In D4S13, the previously cumbersome and complex Lair Boss material system has undergone a complete overhaul and simplification. The old, specific-boss materials have now been replaced by two unified and stackable types of Lair Keys, significantly boosting farming efficiency.
Lair Key
The standard Lair Key is the necessary material for opening the Hoards of Initiate Lair Bosses; however, it will only drop via the following methods while playing on Torment difficulty:
- Key Spoils in War Plans
- Tortured Gifts in Helltide
- World Bosses and Legion Events
- Cache Rewards from The Tree of Whispers
- Undercity of Kurast
Greater Lair Key
To open the Hoards of Greater Lair Bosses, you will need to acquire a Greater Lair Key. A primary method for obtaining these advanced keys is by defeating Initiate-tier Lair Bosses.
Betrayer's Husk
- Defeat Mini Belial: Defeat Mini Belial in the boss’ lair to get Betrayer’s Husk.
- Open Whispers Caches: Completing Whispers of the Dead quest and opening the reward Caches also have a chance to get Betrayer’s Husk.
- Killing Treasure Goblins: Treasure Goblins encountered throughout the map also have a chance to drop these materials. However, because of the rarity of these Treasure Goblins, this method is not the most efficient way to get Boss materials.
- Season Journey Reward Chest: After completing Season Journey, you can also get various materials, including Betrayer’s Husk, by opening the chest reward, so make sure not to skip this step.
New Season, New Power! The S13 Talisman System Crafts Brand-New Meta!
Looking to shatter your current power ceiling? The all-new Talisman System has officially arrived in Diablo 4 Season 13! This system empowers players with deep build customization options, enabling them to achieve astonishing boosts in combat power. The Talisman System consists of two primary components: Seals and Charms.
Among these, Seals serve as the core component of the Talisman System; not only do they provide a variety of beneficial effects, but they also determine exactly how many Charms a player can equip. Seals come in three quality tiers - Magic, Rare, or Legendary - while Charms are categorized into three distinct types: Standard Charms, Set Charms, and Unique Charms.
Notably, both Seals and Charms can be acquired across all difficulty levels by participating in various in-game activities. However, as players ascend through higher difficulty tiers, the quality and potency of the dropped items will increase accordingly. Of course, you can also head directly to IGGM to buy rarer Talismans, unlock additional Charm slots, and unleash devastating skill combinations!
How to obtain runes?
Runes are essential for creating a near-perfect Diablo 4 build, as they can be used to craft high-rarity items and significantly enhance your existing gear. However, please note that this feature is unlocked only after you buy Vessel of Hatred DLC. Therefore, the following guide will provide you with efficient rune farming methods.
- Campaign Bosses: Your first kill will reward you with runes, but it's important to note that re-killing campaign bosses does not reward you with additional runes, so you can't farm them multiple times.
- Lair Bosses: These bosses also reward you with runes after defeating them. Most importantly, they can be farmed repeatedly. However, it's important to note that the loot chests they offer currently require materials to unlock, so be aware of their required quantities.
- Kurast Undercity: You can exchange a Tribute of Mystique or Tribute of Harmony for runes at vendors in town. Exploring with an Augment Cache of Attunement Rank 1 or higher will also reward you with runes.
- Seasonal Activities: Like regular loot, some Seasonal Activities, such as Infernal Hordes, Horadric Strongrooms, and Escalation Nightmare Dungeons, reward you with Runes upon completion.
- Tree of Whispers: In this fun loot-sharing system, you earn Whisper Caches by handing in a certain amount of Grim Favors, which have a chance to contain Runes.
- Buy runes on IGGM: The easiest way to obtain runes is to simply buy them on IGGM. They offer a variety of runes of different rarities for sale, saving you the time you would otherwise spend farming for them.
How to farm Obducite?
Obducite is an essential material for crafting Masterworking gear in Diablo 4, so farming it effectively is the most important thing you can do during your exploration. Here are some recommended Obducite farming methods for you.
Infernal Hordes
After successfully defeating waves of enemies, you'll collect Aether, which you can use to unlock exclusive chests offered by this event. One of the rewards is Obducite gem fragments.
Note: The higher the level of Infernal Hordes, the more Burning Aether it will provide, and the higher the chance of Obducite in the chests you redeem. Therefore, try to find higher-tier Infernal Compasses in Nightmare Dungeons and The Pit; they are the keys to unlocking this event.
Nightmare Dungeons
Once you successfully run a dungeon using Nightmare Sigils of the corresponding level, you'll be rewarded with Obducite and other crafting materials.
In addition to the rewards after completing the run, you have a chance to obtain this important gem fragment from enemy drops and chests during the run.
In addition to regular Nightmare Dungeons, the newly added Horadric Strongrooms and Escalation NMDs will also reward Obducite for clearing them.
Kurast Undercity (Only in Vessel of Hatred DLC)
In this event, you can earn rewards by farming Tributes and Bargains and delivering them to specific vendors. To earn Obducite, you'll need specific Tributes of Refinement, which appear in Nightmare Dungeons or Infernal Hordes.
Buy Obducite at IGGM
While the game offers various methods for farming Obducite, doing so requires a significant investment of both time and effort—and even then, drops are only possible on Torment difficulty setting. If you simply want to enjoy the game without the grind, you can bypass the hassle entirely by buying Obducite directly from IGGM to instantly upgrade your gear and boost your character's power! Furthermore, it is worth noting that when you buy 50K or more Obducite on IGGM, you can enjoy an additional discount ranging from 10% to 20%! Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to save money!
- Note: During Season 13, IGGM will no longer deliver Obducite via face-to-face trading. Instead, safe delivery will be conducted through a carry service, where you participate in the combat yourself and pick up Obducites directly. Don't forget to unlock T4 difficulty before making your buy.
Gem Full Guide | Types, Levels, Usage & Farming
In Diablo 4, gems are unique socketable items with various types, each providing unique bonuses, and the attribute bonuses they provide vary depending on the socket location. Upgrading gems at the Jeweler grants more powerful attribute bonuses, thus improving equipment performance.
To acquire these precious gems, in addition to killing enemies and opening chests throughout Sanctuary, you can also visit Jeweler to salvage unwanted gems into fragments, which can then be used to craft the specific gems you need. Of course, the simplest method is to visit IGGM, where a wide variety of Diablo 4 gems for sale; attempting to acquire them solely through your own efforts could otherwise take hours of your time.
How to farm Mythic Uniques?
Mythic Uniques are an extremely rare and low drop chance item in Diablo 4 that replaces the old Uber Unique system. To identify them in-game now, you will see a purple beam emanating from the item, contrasting with the gold-white color of normal Mythic Items.
When a Mythic Unique drops, you will notice that the item is extremely powerful. They always drop at Item Power 925. You can target farm the item by fighting some of the bosses added to the game.
You can usually fight bosses like Duriel and Andariel on T4 to try to get Mythic Unique items. Additionally, they can drop from enemies in the world as long as the enemies are above level 55 on Torment 4. You can also get them from all Tormented versions of endgame bosses.
You can also choose to make a Mythic Unique for yourself. If a Mythic Unique drops something you don't want, you can disenchant it for its new currency, Resplendent Sparks. To craft it, you'll typically need 4 of these Resplendent Sparks and 50 million gold.

Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred S-Tier Tyrant's Grasp Warlock Build Guide | Infinite Leaps & Full Screen Clears
As one of the new classes introduced in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, Warlock is currently being explored by players through a wide variety of builds. But which build is the right fit for you? Here, we introduce a faster, more engaging, and significantly more durable variant: Tyrant's Grasp Warlock.
Core Mechanics
This build centers on Tyrant's Grasp as its primary damage-dealing ability. By utilizing Unique item Anathema of the Primes, Tyrant's Grasp is transformed into a Core Skill that consumes Wrath. This creates a synergy with Rampage mechanic, allowing the player to execute infinite leaps and rapidly traverse the battlefield.
Additionally, when paired with Hecaton Chasm ring, Tyrant's Grasp summons a multitude of hands from the ground. These hands pull all enemies within the entire screen radius into a single cluster, dealing multiple instances of stacking damage.

Consequently, the overall gameplay of Tyrant's Grasp Warlock is remarkably simple: by maintaining just a few key buffs, you can establish a satisfying loop of continuous leaping, enemy grouping, and instant screen-clearing.
Resource Management
In the past, the biggest pain point for this build was a chronic shortage of Wrath; however, thanks to a series of adjustments, we can now ensure this resource flows seamlessly.
The core strategy involves utilizing the Command Valloch skill, which provides a massive +350% increase to Wrath Regeneration for six seconds. It also grants Overpower effect, as well as Fortify health.
Furthermore, completing the five-piece Horazon's Chains Set helps reduce the resource cost of Soul Shards and provides various stat boosts, including Movement Speed and Attack Speed, making it possible to maintain Command Valloch buff almost permanently.
In the early stages of the game, you can bridge any resource gaps by prioritizing Resource Generation or Resource Cost Reduction affixes on your gear. Once you acquire Ring of Starless Skies, the resource issues plaguing Tyrant's Grasp Warlock are completely resolved, ensuring a combat experience that feels entirely fluid and unhindered.
Key Gear and Mechanic Synergies
Diablo 4 items utilized by Tyrant's Grasp Warlock are absolutely essential to the success of this build.
- Anathema of the Primes: An absolutely mandatory core item. Without it, you cannot convert Tyrant's Grasp (and its associated leaping mechanics) to consume Wrath. In the early game, you can utilize its Two-Handed Sword form; later on, you should transition to using it in an Amulet slot.
- Hecaton Chasm Ring: Provides a massive damage boost while simultaneously summoning additional spectral hands. The multi-hit damage from these hands stacks entirely upon a single target, making this ring particularly devastating against single-target Bosses.
- Ritualist Shard: Unlocks Summon Valloch skill, thereby granting a tremendous amount of Wrath Regeneration.
- Horazon's Chains Set (5 Pieces): Offers comprehensive benefits across the board and reduces Dominance consumption, allowing Command Valloch and Bombardment to be cast reliably once every 10 seconds.
- Metamorphosis: When activated, this ability provides a DPS increase of approximately 30% to 80%; however, it also causes your character to continuously lose health over time. It is recommended to manually deactivate the skill after 15 to 30 seconds, utilizing Life on Hit to easily offset the health drain.
Skill Execution Details
The skill rotation for Tyrant's Grasp Warlock is mechanically simple, but it places a strong emphasis on proper positioning.
The standard 10-second rotation requires you to simultaneously activate three specific skills:
- Cast Bombardment to trigger Paragon Board effect, granting +105% increased damage and generating corpses.
- Cast Summon Valloch to maintain Wrath Regeneration and various active buffs.
- Cast Sigil to activate the 15-second buff provided by Ritualism Paragon node.
Your positioning while dealing damage is also critically important. When facing Bosses or Elite monsters, never stand directly in melee range; instead, maintain a short distance - just beyond standard melee range - to ensure that all summoned hands perfectly overlap within the same area, thereby dealing their full damage potential.
When facing packs of standard mobs, positioning is less of a concern, as the hands will automatically group the enemies together and pull them into the center of the damage zone.
Survivability Considerations
Regarding defensive configuration, it is highly recommended to utilize powerful defensive affixes - such as Heavenly Strength and Tyrant's Might - to bolster your melee survivability. This allows you to comfortably withstand the majority of incoming damage in Normal Mode.
However, the visual effects generated by the multitude of summoned hands can cause severe screen clutter, making it difficult to clearly see ground-based explosions and dangerous enemy skills. While this poses minor issue in Normal Mode, players in Hardcore Mode must exercise extreme caution to avoid being struck by unseen, potentially lethal attacks.
The good news is that the health regeneration provided by Life on Hit is more than sufficient to offset the continuous health drain caused by Metamorphosis. Therefore, as long as you continue to attack without interruption, you need not worry about your health dropping to dangerous levels.
All in all, this Tyrant's Grasp Warlock build performs exceptionally well in the current season, excelling in both map clearing and survivability. I hope it serves you well in Lord of Hatred!
Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred Apocalypse Warlock Build Guide: Choosing the best variant to enjoy the new overpowered meta!
The introduction of a new class in Diablo 4 invariably brings with it a host of new skills, which in turn typically gives rise to new character builds centered around a specific core ability.
Consequently, following the recent launch of Lord of Hatred expansion, players of the new Warlock class have devised numerous such builds, many of which prove highly effective. One prime example is Apocalypse Warlock build, which we will introduce below.

What is Apocalypse?
Apocalypse is one of Warlock's signature skills. Its effect involves creating a massive sigil that detonates after 2 seconds, dealing 666% damage to all surrounding enemies. It has a cooldown of 67 seconds and a Lucky Hit Chance of 50%.
Notably, the skill tree changes introduced in Season 13 allow you to unlock and utilize specific variants for certain skills. These changes are permanent and remain fully applicable within Lord of Hatred expansion.
Based on this system, Apocalypse offers three distinct variant options: Armageddon Ritual, Annihilation, and Minefield. Additionally, Apocalypse features four minor upgrades, arranged in two pairs; you may select only one upgrade from each pair:
- Shared Damage vs. Survivor Damage
- Double Blast vs. Epicenter Damage
Apocalypse Warlock Build skill synergy
As indicated in our introduction to the skill, you can select the most suitable variant for Apocalypse to enhance its effects according to your specific needs. For this particular build, Annihilation variant is the optimal choice.
This variant allows Apocalypse skill itself to unleash Hellfire Blasts that can stack up to a minimum of 20 times, dealing 33% damage to enemies with each hit.
Furthermore, each successful hit from these Hellfire Blasts generates a stack, up to a maximum of 100 stacks. Each accumulated stack subsequently increases both the blast radius and the damage output of the final explosion by 40%.
To accumulate these stacks as rapidly as possible, the most effective method is to cast Umbral Chains. Upon casting, this skill continuously spins in place, striking all enemies within its radius multiple times and thereby allowing you to instantly reach the maximum cap of 100 stacks.
However, Umbral Chains proves slightly less effective when facing bosses. In such scenarios, you can switch to Endless Barrage Bombardment variant instead.
This variant allows you to accumulate up to 5 stacks; once acquired, the skill will automatically and continuously rain down bombardments over the next 10 seconds. This effectively boosts the actual casting frequency of Apocalypse during boss encounters by approximately 50%.
Alternatively, you can opt to swap Umbral Chains for Skull Splitter variant of Blazing Scream; when facing bosses, this provides a much more efficient method for stacking charges, thereby further enhancing your damage output.
Furthermore, if you wish to ensure that Apocalypse provides even greater damage multipliers, you can select Survivor Damage and Double Blast from your four Minor Upgrade slots.
The former allows you to deal double damage to enemies that cannot be instantly killed, while the latter enables you to cast the skill twice consecutively.
Additional skill execution strategies include pairing Dark Prison with Petrify, as this allows for automatic casting. After all, manually casting this particular skill can be quite tedious.
The reason for this approach lies in the severe scarcity of gear affix slots; there simply isn't enough room to dedicate affixes to automatically triggering Barriers.
Consequently, we are compelled to manually cast skills to acquire Fortify status effect, thereby securing damage reduction when engaging enemies.
Although the duration of Dark Prison is shorter than its cooldown, the cooldown is instantly reset whenever Ritual of the Nameless Set effect is triggered. Provided you maintain a high frequency of skill usage, this Set effect can effectively achieve near 100% uptime.
Finally, Nether Step is an essential addition to the build. It serves as both a movement skill and a source of massive damage reduction; moreover, its cooldown is also reset whenever Nameless Set effect is triggered.
Which gear should you equip?
First and foremost, Hands of the Worldbreaker gloves not only grant a massive 400% damage bonus to Apocalypse, the core skill of this build, but also transform it into a Sigil Skill.
This allows you to synergize it with other skills, such as Flesh Rip and Carapace, and fully leverage the complete benefits of Nameless Set.
Subsequently, whenever you cast any Sigil Skill via Nameless Set effect, the system will automatically cast all of your other Sigil Skills simultaneously. This means you can remove your Sigil Skills from your active skill bar, thereby freeing up those keybind slots for other abilities.
Of course, Sigil Skills themselves remain critically important, particularly Sigil of Chaos, which grants you the Volatility buff, boosting your damage output by over 50%. Next, you need to ensure that you imprint Undying Aspect onto your boots; Aspect of Rallying Reversa is also a viable alternative to consider.
This combination is crucial because it helps you maintain the active effect of Scorching Fragment. Although this Ritualist Soul Shard continuously and slowly drains the user's life, the aforementioned Aspects allow you to easily mitigate this drawback.
The Hemat Stone is an indispensable amulet for crafting this build, offering a damage boost of nearly 300%. As for Fleshwrit Carapace, while not strictly mandatory, the damage bonus it provides is indeed substantial.
Regarding Mythics, both Heir of Perdition and Ring of Starless Skies are excellent choices; however, if you can only acquire one, the former takes priority.
As for Talismans, we actually already mentioned during the skill overview that Ritual of the Nameless Set is the optimal choice. You can subsequently add Banished Lord's Talisman to create a perfect synergy with Overpower.
Additionally, Aspect of the Indomitable is an optional alternative; while it significantly boosts your survivability, it also results in a massive loss of damage output, so its overall value is somewhat limited.
That concludes our guide for today. If you haven't yet found a Warlock build that suits you, or simply want to try out a new playstyle, why not give this one a shot?
