WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2 Druid Swift Flight Form Quest | Completing it to dominate the skies long before other classes!
Category: WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Posted: May 06, 2026 Views: 9
Among all the features of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary, flying is undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable and practical. Provided you meet specific requirements, you can use flight to travel to virtually any destination you desire.
Generally, these requirements include reaching level 70, acquiring the ability to fly, and owning a flying mount; however, if you play a Druid, the requirements are significantly lower!
As a Druid, you can begin learning the ability to fly as early as Level 68, allowing you to take to the skies without the need for a mount.
To further highlight the unique aerial capabilities of this class, the upcoming Phase 2 update will introduce a new feature: Druid Swift Flight Form Quest.
In this guide, we will provide you with a preview of the significance of this questline, along with a detailed walkthrough on how to complete it.

What is Druid Swift Flight Form Quest?
This quest is actually a multi-part questline composed of several distinct objectives; as such, it requires a significant investment of both patience and time to complete step-by-step.
Upon completion, you will unlock two key rewards: Swift Flight Form and Idol of the Raven Goddess.
The former allows you to transform into a raven to fly, granting you an additional speed bonus. The latter provides a stat boost, either increased critical strike rating or enhanced healing power, depending on your chosen specialization.
How to unlock this questline?
First and foremost, your character must, of course, be a Druid. Secondly, you must ensure your character has reached the maximum level cap of 70 and has acquired Artisan Riding skill.
This skill itself grants a 280% increase to your flying speed. If you have not yet unlocked it, you will need to consume 5,000 WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold to learn it from either Ilsa Blusterbrew or Olrokk.
Although defeating the boss Anzu, the Raven God, serves as the final stage of the entire questline, you cannot summon him without first unlocking access to Heroic difficulty of Sethekk Halls dungeon.
Therefore, if you have not yet unlocked it, it is highly recommended that you complete the corresponding Attunement requirements, specifically obtaining Auchenai Key, in advance. This will allow you to focus entirely on the questline itself without any interruptions as you progress.
Asleep in the Emerald Dream
Serving as the first major segment of the entire questline, this stage is further divided into four distinct phases: Morthis Whisperwing, The Ward of Wakening, Waking the Sleeper, and The Ward of Wakening (again).
Morthis Whisperwing:
- Use a teleportation ability to reach Moonglade, then locate NPC Loganaar to accept this quest.
- Continue traveling to Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh, and find the NPC Morthis Whisperwing.
The Ward of Wakening:
- Collect 10 Bogblossoms, 10 Ancient Lichen, and 10 Dreaming Glory, then return them to Morthis Whisperwing.
Waking the Sleeper:
- Travel to Stormrage Barrow Dens, locate Clintar Dreamwalker, and then use Ward of Waking to awaken him.
The Ward of Wakening (again):
- Protect Clintar Dreamwalker while he collects Aviana's relics.
- Once the relic collection is complete, find Dreamwarden Lurosa and speak with her.
- Return the relics to Morthis Whisperwing.
Arakkoan Connection
This section consists of five parts: To the Evergrove, The Book of the Raven, Eyes in the Sky, To Catch a Sparrowhawk, and The Raven Stones. None of these are particularly difficult; the key is to figure out the correct sequence and travel routes to avoid wasting time.
To the Evergrove:
- Travel to Evergrove in Blade's Edge Mountains, locate Arthorn Windsong, and speak with him.
The Book of the Raven:
- Kill Aether Rays in the vicinity of Ogri'la in Blade's Edge Mountains to obtain an Aether Ray Eye.
- Use Seer's Stone in conjunction with Aether Ray Eye to reveal Raven Cult ghosts.
- Search Vortex Pinnacle for the spirit of Sai'kkal the Elder, and question him regarding the whereabouts of The Book of the Raven.
- Return to Arthorn Windsong to report your findings.
Eyes in the Sky:
- Travel to Twilight Ridge in Nagrand, locate Watcher Elaira, and speak with her. (Note: You must use a flying mount or ability to reach this location.)
To Catch a Sparrowhawk:
- Locate any Wild Sparrowhawk in the nearby area.
- Use Hibernate spell and a Sparrowhawk Net to capture one, then return it to Watcher Elaira.
The Raven Stones:
- Travel to Skettis in Terokkar Forest.
- Use Cenarion Sparrowhawk Whistle (provided to you during the quest) to summon a Wild Sparrowhawk.
- Utilize Wild Sparrowhawk to unearth a Raven Stone. Once you have obtained 8 Raven Stones, return them to Arthorn Windsong.
Three Guardians
As the name suggests, this stage requires you to defeat three enemies in succession: Guardian of the Eagle, Guardian of the Falcon, and Guardian of the Hawk.
After the battles conclude, you can loot the corresponding essences from the bodies of these three enemies. Once you have obtained the final Essence of the Hawk, return it to Arthorn Windsong to unlock a significant reward: Charm of Swift Flight.
The Raven God
Serving as the final stage of the entire questline, this section consists primarily of two parts: Chasing Moonstone and Vanquish the Raven God. Completing the first part is a prerequisite for unlocking the second.
Chasing the Moonstone:
- Travel to Azshara and locate Moonstone Altar situated at the northernmost point of the nearby river.
- Retrieve Moonstone from the altar; however, you will be stunned by Rizzle Sprysprocket, who will then steal Moonstone.
- Follow the river to pursue and apprehend Rizzle, compelling her to hand over Moonstone.
- Return Moonstone to Morthis Whisperwing.
Vanquish the Raven God:
- Enter and progress through Heroic Sethekk Halls dungeon.
- Locate The Raven's Claw within the final boss room.
- Combine the items you previously obtained to create Essence-Infused Moonstone, then place it into The Raven's Claw to summon the Raven God, Anzu.
After defeating this boss, return to Morthis Whisperwing to begin learning Swift Flight Form ability and to receive Idol of the Raven Goddess.
Additionally, upon defeating Anzu, there is a chance for another rare reward to drop: Reins of the Raven Lord. This item allows you to summon and dismiss a giant raven mount.
Although Druids do not require a mount to fly, you can keep this item as a cosmetic collectible or sell it to other players for gold.
In summary, if you are a Druid player, this quest guide should prove helpful for your upcoming Phase 2 experience! Have fun!
