WoW MoP Classic Best Stat For Classes: What Are The Styles Of These Sub-Classes?
Posted: Jul 23, 2025 Views: 36
Class selection in WoW Mop Classic is very complicated, because after you initially decide on your class, there are subclasses waiting for you.
What are the styles of these subclasses? What stats do they need? Players who are not familiar with these classes may be confused by these questions.
Death Knight
- Blood Death Knight
- Frost Death Knight
- Unholy Death Knight
In MoP Classsic, Blood Death Knight is the best tank class, and it is also the core in raids. Therefore, the first task for Blood Death Knight players is to improve the ability to withstand damage, and endurance is the most important stat for you. If you want to be a DPS, or find a balance between the two, then you need to prioritize improving your hit.
Frost Death Knight and Unholy Death Knight are both DPS. These two classes are somewhat similar to warriors. Strength, Hit and Expertise are the stats you need to prioritize. The best races for Death Knights are Orc and Worgen. Don’t go for Undead Death Knight or Gnome Death Knight, as they don’t provide you with any racial advantages.
Druid
- Balance Druid
- Feral Druid
- Guardian Druid
- Resto Druid
Druids require different stats depending on how they play. The most needed stat for Balance Druid and Resto Druid is Intellect, which usually comes from their equipment and can increase their spell damage and healing.
Feral Druids are relatively simple, as you basically just need to focus on improving agility, and your damage will steadily increase.
Guardian Druid is a tank, so the stat it needs is naturally endurance, and high health can go well with Vengeance.
There are not many races that can choose Druid, and the best Druid races are Troll, Tauren, and Worgen.
Hunter
- Beast Mastery Hunter
- Marksmanship Hunter
- Survival Hunter
Hunter is the best DPS in Mists of Pandaria Classic. For these three classes, the most important stats are agility, followed by hitting and expertise. Equipment has a great impact on Hunter, and different equipment can even change the weight of stats. You can use wow MoP Classic gold to exchange for corresponding equipment.
The most suitable races for Hunter are still Orc and Worgen. Pandaren can also become hunters, but their racial characteristics are mediocre.
Mage
- Arcane Mage
- Fire Mage
- Frost Mage
Mage is similar to Hunter. All three classes focus on intellect. Their gameplay is similar, mainly because of different types of damage. Players need to pay attention to mana management in battle. If you want to enter a raid, it is best to use Mop Classic gold to trade a few bottles of potions.
Many races can choose Mage, and the racial talent of Pandaren allows them to get double the benefits from food, which means higher intellect stats. Berserking that Trolls have is very powerful, giving them an advantage in most classes.
Monk
- Brewmaster
- Mistweaver
- Windwalker
These three are tank, healer and DPS. Pandaren Brewmaster is one of the best tanks, thanks to their racial talent. For Brewmaster, agility, armor and stamina from equipment are very important. If you want to increase your DPS, focus on agility.
As a melee healer, Intellect and Spell power are the main stats for Mistweaver, and these main stats come from your equipment.
Windwalker is a DPS that needs agility. Agility and haste can increase your damage and speed up energy recovery, allowing you to cast more skills.
Pandaren, gnomes and troll monks can get wonderful benefits from their races.
Paladin
- Holy Paladin
- Protection Paladin
- Retribution Paladin
As a healer, Holy Paladin needs to frequently release skills to restore and protect teammates in battle, so Spirit is the first choice for Holy Paladin, and even potions are needed to restore mana in battle.
Protection Paladin is good at both offense and defense. No matter which direction you choose, the stats you need are hits and Expertise.
In addition to Hits and Expertise, Retribution Paladins also need haste to increase attack speed and reduce CD.
There are not many tribes that can choose Paladin. Tauren Paladin is better at PvP, while human Paladin is the most common match in Alliance.
Priest
- Discipline Priest
- Holy Priest
- Shadow Priest
All three classes of Priest and Mage require intellect. Secondly, some of them need crit, some need hits, and some need spirit.
Many races can choose Priest, among which Goblins, Pandaren and Human Priests are more common choices.
Rogue
- Assassination Rogue
- Combat Rogue
- Subtlety Rogue
All three Rogues are melee DPS, and they rely on agility. Trolls and Worgens have racial advantages that make them excellent Rogues.
Shaman
- Elemental Shaman
- Enhancement Shaman
- Restoration Shaman
Elemental Shamans and Restoration Shamans require intelligence, while Enhancement Shamans require agility, at least in the early game. In the late game, stats such as hit and Expertise are also very important.
Shaman is mainly the first choice of Horde players. Alliance races have little effect on it. Goblins and Orc Shamans are common combinations.
Warlock
- Affliction Warlock
- Demonology Warlocks
- Destruction Warlocks
Warlocks are the strongest DPS in WoW MoP, even stronger than mages. Their required stats are the same as mages, which are intelligence and hit. Most races that can choose Warlocks perform well in PvP or PvE, except for Dwarf Warlocks.
Warrior
- Arms Warrior
- Fury Warrior
- Protection Warrior
Warriors are typical melee strength DPS, and they first need hit and expertise to ensure they can hit the enemy, and then need strength to increase damage.
Protection Warrior is a more traditional tank, similar to Blood Death Knight, and they both need stamina, hit and expertise stats.
Most races can become warriors, and Orc Warrior, Worgen Warrior and Pandaren Warrior are all good choices.
Above are all the classes and required stats in WoW MoP Classic. Equipment is the most important thing when you upgrade your character, followed by potions and food. Don’t be stingy with MoP Classic gold, and upgrade your equipment as soon as you arrive at a new zone, or you will find the monsters very difficult to fight.
