  • WOW Classic SOD: How To Unlock Upper Blackrock Spire In Phase 4? - Locations & Tips

    Posted: Jul 24, 2024

In WoW SoD Phase 4, Upper Blackrock Spire (UBRS) is one of several dungeons that players can explore after reaching level 60. Not only is this dungeon great for gear, but to access it, players must complete Upper Blackrock Spire Attunement quest chain to unlock the door to the second half of the massive Blackrock Spire dungeon.

In WoW SoD, Upper Blackrock Spire offers some of the best gear in Phase 4, both Pre-BiS and BiS. Also, playing dungeons like Upper Blackrock Spire is an integral part of many players’ progression to earn SoD Gold and valuable items, such as Pip’s Skinner, which is key to skinning Onyxia’s hide.

This guide will detail how to play Seal of Ascension quest, and tell you how to find Upper Blackrock Spire raid entrance in its associated dungeon, Lower Blackrock Spire (LBRS).

Step-By-Step Attunement Process For Upper Blackrock Spire

In order to access Upper Blackrock Spire, you need to complete a quest called Seal of Ascension, which rewards Seal of Ascension, which is used to open the entrance to Upper Blackrock Spire. First, you need to find an NPC named Vaelan in LBRS and accept the quest from him to start Upper Blackrock Spire attunement.

Once you enter the dungeon, go up the stairs on the right and jump off the ledge to the southeast. Go through the gate on the east side and continue through Hordemar City until you see a stone ramp leading up to the left, behind the first group of monsters, near the candlesticks. Climbing this ramp, you will find Vaelan crouching on the edge, but he will not appear in his true form at first. In fact, he is disguised as a Scarshield Infiltrator, and only when you approach him will he transform and appear as a friendly quest NPC.

After accepting the quest, your next step is to go to LBRS and defeat three specific bosses to collect the gems they drop. Each gem has a 1 in 5 chance of being obtained from the corresponding boss.

Gemstone of Spirestone can be obtained from Highlord Omokk. Gemstone of Smolderthorn can be obtained from War Master Voone. Gemstone of Bloodaxe needs to be obtained from Overlord Wyrmthalak. In addition, you need to find an Unadorned Seal of Ascension, which has a slight chance of dropping from Dragonkin enemies in LBRS.

Once you have collected all four items, return to Vaelan, who will instruct you to go to Dustwallow Marsh to tame an elite dragon named Emberstrife. Instead of killing Emberstrife, weaken it and use Orb of Dragonic Energy to force it to produce Forged Seal of Ascension.

Return to LBRS and find Vaelan again, and give him Forged Seal of Ascension. Completing this quest will grant you Seal of Ascension Ring, which grants +10 Fire, Frost, and Nature resistance, and allows you to enter Upper Blackrock Spire.

Where To Find Upper Blackrock Spire Entrance In Lower Blackrock Spire?

The entrance to Upper Blackrock Spire is located inside Lower Blackrock Spire, similar to the entrance to Molten Core, which is in Blackrock Depths. To access Upper Blackrock Spire, you need to enter Lower Blackrock Spire and go up the left side of the first set of stairs. Next, turn left and you will see a locked door.

This door leads directly to Upper Blackrock Spire, but can only be opened by a player wearing Seal of Ascension, otherwise even a level 60 Rogue with maxed skills cannot unlock it. Once the door is opened, you and your group can enter the dungeon, and once inside, you can remove the ring and exchange it for your regular gear.

For players looking for a challenge and reward, this quest chain is a very worthwhile choice. Now that you have the key to access Upper Blackrock Spire, it’s time to embark on the journey!

  • WoW Classic SoD: How To Get Tarnished Undermine Real In Phase 4? - Vendor Location And Rewards

    Posted: Jul 20, 2024

In WoW SOD Phase 4, Tarnished Undermine Realms are the primary method for most players to obtain new gear and items, including parts for all tier 0 dungeon sets that can be improved in the new Phase 4 gear upgrade questline.

If you’re also interested in how to obtain Tarnished Undermine Real, read on, as this guide will cover the full inventory of Tarnished Undermine Real vendor, as well as where you can find this Tarnished Undermine Real vendor.

What Is Tarnished Undermine Real Used For?

Tarnished Undermine Real acts similarly to SOD Gold in the game and can be redeemed for items from a new vendor in Booty Bay. The new vendor features a variety of useful SoD Phase 4 gear, including rings, weapons, other equipment, as well as various crafting recipes and fun toys.

Such as Gift of Gob, it turns your friendly target into a Goblin for one hour, including Hunter pets. The new Pattern: Leather-Reinforced Runecloth Bag, with 18 slots, is locked behind this new currency, as well as numerous Alchemy recipes, pre-BiS gear, and other useful items. It will be an important currency before entering Molten Core, but to obtain Undermine Reals, you need to make sure you follow the right method.

How To Get Tarnished Undermine Real In WoW SoD?

The method to obtain Tarnished Undermine Real is simple. Each boss of the dungeon that reaches the maximum level will drop one of this currency every day, but you can’t farm the same dungeon repeatedly because it resets at 9 am server time.

This system is a bit like Wild Offering system in SoD Phase3, but instead of being tied to only one boss in each instance, which you can farm repeatedly, Tarnished Undermine Real drops once a day from each boss in the instance.

The best way to farm Tarnished Undermine Real is to visit the five main dungeons at the highest level. It is worth noting that to access Upper Blackrock Spire, you must find a UBRS-attuned player, or get attuned in Lower Blackrock Spire yourself.

    Tarnished Undermine Real Vendor Location

Tarnished Undermine Real vendor is located in Booty Bay, and the vendor’s wares are available to both Horde and Alliance players. Look for Pix Nizzix in the northeast of the lower platform. He should be standing next to Auctioneer outside the shiphouse, where you can exchange it for Parrot pet.

From the ship to Ratchet City, continue forward and turn left to find a Goblin standing on top of a crate. If you can’t see Tarnished Undermine Real vendor location, head to the lower planks of Booty Bay and look for Goblin hiding in a corner that may be surrounded by dozens of players.

    All Tarnished Undermine Real Rewards

Tier 0 Dungeon Sets drop from the same dungeons as vanilla WoW. With this new currency, you can also redeem parts for the T0 Dungeon Set. The cost of each set follows the same formula.

Specifically, in order to have Tier 0 Head, Chest, and Legs pieces, each will cost 50 Tarnished Undermine Real. And Tier 0 Belt, Boots, Gloves, and Shoulder pieces will cost 25 Tarnished Undermine Real each. In addition, for Tier 0 Bracers parts, you can exchange them for 15 Tarnished Undermine Real.

Try to target dungeons that drop Head, Chest, and Legs pieces of your Tier 0 SoD Dungeon Set first. While farming these dungeons, you’ll earn Tarnished Undermine Reels, which can be used to exchange for other items, and if you can get these high-cost items, you’ll need to run fewer dungeons to get the full set.

Overall, Tarnished Undermine Real plays an important role in WoW SoD Phase 4 as a new currency that opens the door to high-level gear and valuable items. Through diligent farming and wise dungeon selection, players can better cope with the upcoming challenges.

  • WoW Classic SoD: How To Level Up The Fastest With Runes In Phase 4? - Effect & Usage

    Posted: Jul 19, 2024

World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery has just entered Phase 4. In this phase, your character’s level cap is now 60, and there are a number of other additions and fixes.

The unique thing about this version of WoW is that you can use something called runes to improve your character’s skills or talents, and even add some new abilities to complement your own unique build.

These runes have been available since Phase 1, and this guide is designed for characters under level 25, so they are perfect for when you want to level up quickly. Although many rune names will be different as the game changes, it doesn’t matter.

Ice Lance For Level 2 Mage

    • Effect: Deals Frost damage to the primary target and triple damage to targets already frozen.

This rune was originally created to encourage players to choose Ice Mage, but later players considered Ice Mage to be the best upgrade option since Vanilla Classic. Combined with the early glove enchantment you get in the game, this rune’s spell power is greatly increased and provides you with better damage output.

To obtain this rune, you need to perform a quest as a Mage trainer. Kill a local until it drops a Spell Note. This will provide you with the simple but effective Frost spell, which is also an excellent complement to the other late-game rune Enlightment.

Enlightment Rune is a Mage’s chest piece, which allows you to increase your spell damage and help you restore mana. In the spirit of Mage lore, you need to study, decipher, and decode the runes for this class. In addition, you need to have Arcane Intellect buff activated to learn this spell.

Explosive Shot For Level 5 Hunter

    • Effect: An explosive charge that deals increased fire damage to the primary target and enemy targets within 8 yards.

Glove enchantments provide a very useful AOE effect, and also increase your character’s initial attack damage. Explosive Shot is the second glove enchantment you can find, the other being Chimera Shot, which relies more on poison and sustained damage.

You can get this precious Explosive Shot by killing four different beasts in starring areas in Durotar, Dun Morugh, Teldrssil, or Mulgore. Between these two runes, your choice may lead to different builds for the Hunter. Hunters can not choose other classes in Season of Discovery, but can choose what kind of DPS warrior they want to be to complete the battle.

Victory Rush For Level 2 Warrior

    • Effect: Instantly attack your target. Killing an enemy that provides XP or Honor within the next 20 seconds will heal you for 30% of your maximum health.

Victory Rush is very similar to Charge ability you had before and is also an important part of the warrior toolbox. However, this rune has been improved to help you restore a little health, removing the previous ability to generate Rage.

As we all know, Warriors have no self-healing spells. And at low levels, there are very few potions that can give Warriors buffs and health, not to mention the ability to cook special food. If you spend SOD Gold to exchange for these items, it is very uneconomical, because when you are at a low level, please save every gold and don’t squander it.

So, anything that can give Warriors an advantage in both initial attack and effective health recovery is very good. Fortunately, Warriors can get Victory Rush very early in the game. It can perfectly match the tank or DPS role currently available to Warriors. So, no matter which build you choose, it is your best choice.

Quick Draw For Level 8 Rogue

    • Effect: Quickly fires long-range shots at enemies, slowing their movement speed by 50% and granting 1 combo point.

Rogues can also be tanks in Season of Discovery, which is something many Warcraft fans didn’t expect. Quick Draw can help you better manage the battlefield by dragging enemies and slowing their movement speed at lower levels. At higher levels, you can use it to upgrade your tank character.

To get Quick Draw, you need to use Pick Pocket skill to find a treasure map fragment that reveals the location of the rune. This may take a lot of time, but trust me, it’s definitely worth it.

DPS Rogues in the game can use Quick Draw to gain continuous combo points and unleash additional special attacks. This passive enchant will parasitize on Rogue’s chest piece, so it doesn’t take up open space on your action bar, which is also a benefit.

    Haunt For Level 2 Warlock

    • Effect: AOE effect that deals 400 initial damage, increases all other Shadow damage by 20%, and heals Warlock’s health.

Haunt is one of the best runes for Warlocks, whether you’re a DPS or tank, and no matter how low you are. It gives you a deadly DOT spell in your early levels and also restores your health upon death.

You can get Haunt by completing one quest in Stolen Power or Lost Rune, depending on your race and faction. If you combine Haunt with a skill, such as Life Tap, Warlocks don’t need to replenish energy or health constantly.

This has made some Warlocks very satisfied, and they can even be tanks now, and you can often see them in some dungeons. According to the rules of the game, the more damage a Warlock deals to the target, the more health it restores. This also makes Haunt one of the most basic runes in a Warlock Tank build.

In combat, you can use Haunt on multiple targets and time their downfalls precisely so that you can restore as much health as possible to the tank and give the healer time to recharge.

The above are some of the best runes that can help you level up quickly in WoW Classic SoD Phase 4. I hope you can have fun exploring Phase 4 and reach level 60 smoothly.

  • WoW Classic SoD: Demon Fall Canyon Added In Phase 4 - What’s Needed & How To Unlock?

    Posted: Jul 16, 2024

As we all know, WoW Classic Season of Discovery brings a lot of new content to players in each phase. Well, Phase 4 is no exception. In addition to the new level-up Raids converted from the original dungeons, another new content is added: Demon Fall Canyon.

As the highest level dungeon in WoW SoD, Demon Fall Canyon is naturally different from other ordinary dungeons. To enter Demon Fall Canyon, you need to go through a lot of hardships. So this guide will introduce what you need and how to unlock Demon Fall Canyon.

    Demon Fall Canyon Prerequisites

First, for the level, if you want to explore Demon Fall Canyon and unlock its quest line, you must meet level 55 and above, and you must complete Wild Offerings questline in Phase 3-The Wild Gods.

Even Shadowtooth Emissary in Emerald Sanctuary will not offer you the attunement quest Demonic Deceptions if you are not level enough. Likewise, if you are level enough but have not completed The Wild Gods, you will not get Demon Fall Canyon attunement.

Shadowtooth Emissary can only be made a vendor after you meet the above two conditions, so both are required before you can unlock Demon Fall Canyon attunement.

How To Unlock Demon Fall Canyon?

    Step 1

After you get Demonic Deception’s quest from Shadowtooth Emissary, the emissary will also tell you more about some strange events in Loa. This time your task requires you to defeat the demon Mannoroth in Grommash Hellscream and save Orcs from his fel blood.

The emissary will also ask you to use an Owlbeast Pineal Glands to craft an amulet to dispel the illusions in this area, and will send you to Winterspring when you are ready.

Owlbeasts in other areas will not drop this high-level item. Only Owlbeasts living in the high-level Winterspring will drop it, and there are also designated Owlbeasts - Berserk Owlbeasts, Moontouched Owlbeasts and Crazed Owlbeasts.

The first two Owlbeasts have only a 25% to 30% chance of dropping Owlbeast Pineal Glands, and the last one has a very low drop rate or even no drop. You need to kill at least 6 of these Owlbeasts, and after completing it, you need to return to Emerald Sanctuary. In addition, the best place to collect Owlbeasts is north of Everlook.

    Step 2

After you get Pineal Glands and give them to Shadowtooth Emissary, in return he will give you Shadowtooth Illusion Ward and a bunch of SOD Gold as a reward for completing Demonic Deceptions quest.

Shadowtooth Illusion Ward looks like a trinket, but it will get you used to all the new WoW SoD Phase 4 dungeons. When you are ready, start to head there, but you will find that Demon Fall Canyon is not in Felwood or Winterspring.

So where is it? Demon Fall Canyon is located in the southeast of Ashenvale. You may think it is a bit far, but fortunately, it is not far on horseback.

    Step 3

As mentioned above, Demon Fall Canyon is located in the southeast of Ashenvale. So you need to look for a gray rift in the southeast on the map. Once you find it, you will find that it is very close to the location of Splintertree Post, only a few inches.

The entrance to Demon Fall Canyon is just north of this gray area. But some players may wonder, why can’t I see it? Remember to check your gear slots. If you don’t have Shadowtooth Illusion Ward equipped, you won’t be able to see the portal to this dungeon.

In addition to yourself, you must also make sure that everyone in your team has equipped Demon Fall Canyon attunement trinket. After confirming that everything is correct, you can enter the dungeon portal, which means entering the most exciting new Phase 4 dungeon.

Although theoretically you can enter at a minimum level of 55, it is not recommended to enter Demon Fall Canyon at only level 55 because of the difficulty of this dungeon.

Once inside, you can safely remove Demon Fall Canyon attunement trinket from the equipment slot and replace it with your regular equipment. However, every time you want to re-enter, you will need Demon Fall Canyon attunement trinket, which is equivalent to a key.

    Bosses In Demon Fall Canyon

Grimroot is the first boss you encounter in Demon Fall Canyon. Turn left at the first fork in the path and after clearing all the trash along the way, you will find this hovering Mourning Guardian. If you want to make the fight easier, remember to clear all the trash in Grimroot’s patrol before starting the fight.

After you finish fighting Grimroot, continue forward, and you will find Destructor’s Wraith. Don’t worry about this fight, as it is also a very simple one.

After defeating the above two bosses, you can go back to the main road where you first entered the dungeon and you will encounter Zilbagob. It is very cute because it is an imp driving a Goblin Shredder.

Continue back to the dungeon and you will see Memorial for Grommash. Turn your head to the right and follow the path up, remembering to clear the trash on the road as with the first boss. Once you reach the top, you will enter Demon Fall Barrow and you will also see Pyranis.

During your battle with Pyranis, it will summon a lot of Summon Dread Fungus and Summon Dread Lasher, which you need to keep clearing. After the battle, continue to go deeper into Barrow Den and walk to the end.

There you will meet Dreadlord - Diathorus the Seeker. It should be noted that this battle will have two stages, so please increase your defense and health attributes.

After you defeat Dreadlord, go out of a portal in the battle room and you can return to Monument of Grommash and meet Hellscream’s Phantom.

The above is some detailed information about Demon Fall Canyon. I hope this guide can help you with your exploration and wish you a happy exploration!

  • WoW Classic SoD: How To Upgrade From Level 50 To 60 In Phase 4?

    Posted: Jul 16, 2024

The fourth stage of the exploration season is now online, and the level cap of the fourth stage is known to be level 60. So how should we upgrade from level 50 to level 60? There are many different things to do, and I also want to share some tips and tricks with you in this guide.

This guide will work all the way to the highest level, and it’s very easy to follow, and it takes about 1 minute to set everything up. It will automatically detect the profession you are playing, and it will also guide you through the best route to collect runes when you level up, and there will be numbers on your map, and a lot of different things to illustrate, and it will also guide you through the best route to reach level 60. But remember to use your Cozy Sleeping Bag when the cooldown is over, because this will increase your experience value by 3% for 2 hours.

    Level Up Through Dungeons

One thing you can do is to level up through dungeons. The first dungeon is Blackrock Depths. As an Alliance player goes to Dunbar Row, in Careers section, you will find an NPC that will give you the first quest. Then head to Burning Steppes.

There will also be quite a few quests there, and you will get a lot of extra experience and SOD Gold, and even items, one of which will have you go and kill Master, this NPC or this Elite can be found in front of dungeon entrance portal. So be sure to keep an eye out for this as your group is heading into the dungeon. As a Hardcore player, you can also pick up quite a few quests there.

This location has a keyer. You can change your hearthstone to this location. When you have completed all the different quests, go back with your hearthstone. Both factions can also pick up quests and Burning Steppes. You can use your Hearthstone to go back to both factions, or you can pick up a quest and Burning Steppes, as this NPC is neutral.

Another neutral NPC can be found when you enter a dungeon, pick up Attunement to the Core quest, which is required to coordinate Molten Core. By doing this, you will also gain experience and accomplish different things.

    Explore Lower Blackrock Spire

Next, you can hit Lower Blackrock Spire, which is the same location as Blackrock Depths, or very close. At this tower you can pick up different dungeon quests, which have hidden quests. If you are not an experienced player, talk to this NPC and listen to the story, and you will get an item.

If you head to Burning Steppes, there will be NPCs there that you can talk to get different quests. These quests require you to complete dungeon as a party of five, without converting them to a raiding group.

As a Hardcore player, you cannot take this quest. The quest will tell you to go back to Burning Steppes, which will take you to the quest chain. Once you complete the quest, you will get an amazing Trinket as a reward.

    Hardcore Players’ Quest Journey

Another important thing is when you level up as a Hardcore player, by going to this camp in Western Plaguelands, after picking up these quests. You can also go to the Eastern Plaguelands, where you can pick up other quests. These are neutral NPCs and are also quests right in front of the dungeon entrance. If you think this is too hard, then you can also do Stratholme here, where you can get many items.

In fact, there will be many quests here, and at this point you are also getting closer and closer to level 60. If you still feel that you are not strong enough to complete Upper Blackrock Spire, then you can do Dio, for example, because in Season of Discovery Phase 4, every dungeon will be open. If you decide to go to Upper Blackrock Spire, then as an Alliance player, you must go to a certain city to pick up this pre-quest, and the quest will tell you to go to Burning Steppes.

If you have already gone to Lower Blackrock Spire and got the quest letter, remember to start the quest as well, in case you gave up on it before as a Hardcore player.

Next, you have to go to Badlands, where you can complete a quest, and you can also pick up another quest from this dungeon. The fastest way to level up is definitely to do quests, and you can also level up a little slower, but make a lot of money at the same time.

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy exploring Season of Discovery Phase 4 and your journey to level 60.

  • WoW Classic SoD: How To Grind Maraudon In Phase 4? - Routes & Notes

    Posted: Jul 12, 2024

On July 11, WoW Classic SoD Phase 4 was officially released, and many players are very excited about the new discovery content. Phase 4 of WoW Classic Season of Discovery brings players the last set of dungeons that you can grind during your level 50 to 60.

The loot provided by these dungeons will be available until the end of the game. Therefore, you may end up running dungeons at level 60. This guide will specifically introduce you to Maraudon, which is explorable at level 50 to 52, and provides you with routes and some notes.

Maraudon is a huge dungeon in WoW Classic SoD Phase 4, suitable for entering and grinding when you reach level 50 and above. The bosses here range from level 48 to 51 only, so you will deal with these enemies easily and provide yourself with a lot of experience.

    Routes

You can enter Maraudon from three different locations, and the routes you and your team will take will depend on which entrance you enter from.

If you want to start from the orange entrance, you can completely clear the dungeon. If you just want to clear all the bosses in the dungeon, you need to defeat Razorlash and enter the first large open area, then you can take a detour into the purple entrance and kill Lord Vyletongue. Finally, continue back to the main path, deeper into the dungeon.

If you want to be more adventurous, you can start from the purple entrance and defeat Maraudos, which is also required to complete the Pariah’s Instructions quest. After entering, you will see a waterfall in the dungeon, where you need to take a narrow path and fight Tinkerer Gizlock.

After the fight, continue up the slope path to defeat Landslide. From there, you can continue along the main path to Princess Theradras, and after defeating Princess Theradras, fall into the water and defeat Rotgrip.

If you want to go all the way to the end without having to backtrack, you can completely skip Lord Vyletongue, Tinkerer Gizlock and possibly Landslide. These bosses that will cause you to backtrack are actually insignificant in the dungeon and can be safely ignored.

Another popular route into Maraudon skips right up to the waterfall section of the dungeon, but only completes the last few bosses. This requires you and one of your group to have Scepter of Celebras, which is given to you when you talk to Celebras Redeemed in the first half of Maraudon.

The advantage of this route is that it allows you to defeat the bosses in the second half of the dungeon more quickly, the most notable of which is Princess Theradras, who drops some very useful loot for certain classes and SOD Gold that all players love.

This route is also the choice of some high-level players, as the monsters in the second half of the dungeon are a bit higher level. In addition, if you don’t need the loot in the first half of this dungeon, you can also use this route.

Here, I need to remind you that there is no exit in Maraudon. If you want to leave, you need teleport or hearthstone to help you leave this dungeon. If you really have no other way, just log out and reset to return to the nearby cemetery.

    Enemies To Watch Out For

Although in theory, you will be higher level than the enemies in the dungeon and will defeat them easily, there are still some that you need to pay special attention to.

    Creeping Sludge

These slimy-looking sludges will frequently cause a lot of AoE damage to nearby enemies. When facing them, try not to get close to them, but use ranged weapons to knock them down from a distance.

    Barbed Lasher

In addition to the area of damage effect, these monsters also have a knockdown effect. If the healer on your team stands too close to them, the healer’s effectiveness will be greatly reduced.

    Noxious Slime

It’s actually not difficult for you to fight it, but after they die, they will leave a cloud of toxic gas on the ground. If you are not careful, you will be in danger.

    Subterranean Diemetradon

These Diemertradons will cast Sonic Burst on you and silence anyone nearby for 10 seconds. Like Barbed Lasher, casters and healers in the raid should stay away from it.

    Princess Theradras

As the final boss of Maraudon, Princess Theradras is much more difficult than any of the previous raids, so you need to know her skills in advance.

Her Repulsive Gaze can be very scary for you and your raid, and she will also throw Boulder at distant targets, which will damage their raid casters and interrupt their spell-casting. When she casts Dust Field, everyone should stay away from her, otherwise they will take a lot of damage.

This skill will also make it clear all obstacles in front of it, so have your raid tank and taunt her, otherwise she will hurt the lowest health among you.

    More Tips

You need to have some ranged damage in your team to deal with Creeping Sludge, and for characters with healing skills. Because healers are very easy to get stuck in the crowd of enemies in Maraudon, it is beneficial to equip a few healing skills.

In addition to equipping skills, you also need to determine what loot your raid needs. Some bosses drop very rich loot, but their locations are too remote. If no one wants their dropped items, you need to discuss whether to skip or move on.

When you finally face Princess Theradras, remember to keep in touch. Princess Theradras may pose distinct threats to your team from different directions. If you are too scattered, it may be difficult for tank professions to regain hatred on the boss after Princess Theradras uses Dust Field.

After understanding the entire route and precautions of Maraudon, do you have more confidence to face this relatively simple dungeon? Go to Maraudon with your team!

  • WOW Classic SOD: These Tips Will Help You Level Up Quickly In Phase 4

    Posted: Jul 12, 2024

The difference between modern WoW Classic and original classic is that it has Seasons of Discovery. This allows players to see and experience new content while continuing their journey through game. Today, I will give you some tips to help you level up quickly in SOD Phase 4.

    Quest Line

The level cap for Phase 4 is 60. Quests will start with Nightmare Incursion and go up to level 53, and you can complete 16 quests in about 20 minutes, which will be one of the fastest ways to level up. Sunken Temple is now turning into a level-up rate, and it will give about one level of experience.

After that, you will be doing quests, and completing dungeons. There are a lot of new dungeons that will unlock in Phase 4, and you can visit Upper Blackrock Spire, Lower Blackrock Spire, Blackrock Depths, Mage SOLO Strat UD Farm, and new Ashenvale dungeon. There will be an attunement questline according to WAD, which will provide more details.

Also, remember that bosses above level 55 will drop Tarnished Undermine Real once a day, which can be redeemed at Vendor in Booty Bay for exciting 0.5 questline. Traditionally, 0.5 questline is some of best gear you can get before Molten Core is unlocked, and perhaps a lot of players will go farming. This questline starts as early as level 58.

You must first obtain tier zero parts that can be upgraded by delivering a pair of tier zero bracers to your faction’s major city, and you need to obtain these parts from dungeons. You will farm in Phase 4 are Hydraxian Waterlords Timber Argent Dawn and PvP reputations, all of which will provide some previous items for your class.

    Get Advanced Equipment

Among them, Thorium Brotherhood will have some very good fireproof items, and you may need them to kill Molten Core at heat level three. Argent Dawn and Timber Mall faction quartermasters vendors allow players to exchange basic versions of crafting reputation items they previously offered, along with some other appropriate materials, for high-quality versions of the same items.

They also changed all items from these vendors to BoP, so you actually have to earn them yourself, rather than buying them from auction house. Arathi Basin, exalted, will have Priest Weapons for many, while Warsong Gulch will have bracers attunements.

    Task Arrangement

Of course, you have to complete Molten Core and Onyxia Attunement questlines and Ashenvale questline when you find them, and remember that Alliance’s Onyxia is different. Horde raid Sunken Temple still has some of previous mini-class items, which are helpful for leveling up.

So you’re better off doing it twice a week. World boss is now instanced. Zeros and Kazics will be available on July 18th, and these two raids will reset twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday. Onyxia will be available on July 25th, which will also reset twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday. Then Molten Core will also be available on July 25th, and this raid will reset every Tuesday.

    Molten Core

The most exciting thing about SoD Phase4 so far is heat level of Molten Core. Heat level will represent the difficulty, and before you enter zone, you will be able to decide at which difficulty you want to complete Molten Core, which may be a fire resist mechanic, or a mechanic added for each boss.

So you need a lot of fire resist to complete it, and there is also a confirmed 11th boss that has been added to Molten Core. Now it’s just a matter of seeing what happens with Priest. There are over 500 updates and new items in SOD Phase4. Priest is one of the most exciting times to play World of Warcraft.

You need to upgrade your previous items and figure out best route. This way you can go into Molten Core and World Bosses with best gear, and you can do the highest amount of DPS PVP in Blackrock. PVP events will happen every 2 hours, and players will get many daily tasks.

These quests will reward you with Thorium Brotherhood and Hydraxian Waterlords Reputation. This will be the best way to get Hydraxian Waterlords Reputation until Molten Core opens up. And you’ll want to make sure you can put out fire so you can summon Ragnaros at level 10 at the end, which looks very competitive as it offers two very powerful sets of rewards.

Some players will want to mix this with their 05 questline set. Both set rewards will probably stack, which will allow people to have two of each set class from stage 1 to stage 2, giving them an extra 40 or 50 spell power.

    Unlocked Items

You’ll get some of best items in SOD by going through these levels, and there will most likely be another quest chain to complete. To unlock these modes, so keep an eye out for these guides when you find it, Epic mounts are now available in game at level 60.

You can also upgrade your STV mount to an epic version of STV vendor for 800 SOD Gold, and if you have a Neuron mount, you can also upgrade it at Neuron vendor for same price. Don’t forget extremely rare Baron Mounts you can farm from Stratholme Undead runes, they’ll pop up ring slots giving you weapon skills when you find them, and cloaks will give your class three or four new abilities.

Hopefully, this guide will help you in your battles for SoD Phase 4!

  • WoW Classic SOD: Few New Runes Added To Various Classes In Phase 4!

    Posted: Jul 11, 2024

Just today, WoW Classic SoD Phase 4 was officially released. Since PTR, players have discovered many new runes that make each class very different. Currently, each class will have three new runes available.

Runes can be placed in your equipment slots and provide powerful passive effects to your character. But will these new rune changes make your class easier or more difficult? This guide only introduces you to these new runes, which require you to explore them yourself in WoW Classic SoD Phase 4. Let time prove it.

    Druid

    Improved Swipe

When in cat form, you can increase your swipe ability; while swiping in bear form can increase damage by 100% and hit 3 additional targets.

    Tree of Life

When activating this rune, you will reduce the mana consumption of all continuous healing skills by 20%, and increase the healing received by friendly forces by 10%. In addition, it increases Druid’s spirit by 25% and Druid’s armor by 200%.

    Starfall

When you use Starfall, you can summon up to 20 meteor showers over 10 seconds, dealing Arcane damage to enemies within 30 yards of you. There is a 90-second cooldown while using this passive, and CC effects, mounting, and shapeshifting are canceled.

    Hunter

    Improved Volley

While activating this passive, you will increase the mana cost of Volley by 50%, but the cooldown of this skill will be reduced and it will no longer be affected by the enemy’s counterattack wave. In addition, Volley will deal an additional 3% ranged damage each time.

    Resourcefulness

While this passive is active, you will greatly reduce the mana cost of Reduces, up to 100%, and the cooldown will be reduced by 40%.

    Hit And Run

After you use Hunter’s Raptor Strike, your movement speed will be increased by 15% for 4 seconds. After this melee combat is completed, you can quickly pick up some loot such as SOD Gold.

    Mage

    Arcane Barrage

This passive fires several missiles at an enemy target, dealing Arcane damage. Additionally, this spell has a 20% chance to trigger Missile Barrage.

    Overheat

It fires a Fire Blast that can deal critical hits. Best of all, it can be cast with other spells and is not affected by the global cooldown.

    Frozen Orb

It fires a spinning orb of ice from where you stand, and you have a 16-second fast movement time. While moving, the orb deals Frost damage to all enemies it passes by, and casts a frost effect that slows them down by 30%. Additionally, the first time this enemy is damaged by you, not only will their movement speed slow down, but they will also trigger Fingers of Frost rune.

    Paladin

    Shield Of Righteousness

In addition to blocking damage, the shield can be used to slam the target, dealing Holy damage based on your defense, and an additional 214 damage.

    Vindicator

While your Vindication talent is active, it reduces your attack speed by 70 points per point of talent, and increases your Strength, Agility, and Attack Power by 50% per point of talent. Additionally, Vindication lasts for 30 seconds.

    Righteous Vengeance

When you are in the final stages of a fight, you can use Judgement, Crusader Strike, or Divine Storm to deal the final blow, as your target will take 30% more damage until you win.

    Priest

    Binding Heal

This effect heals you and your allies, and has a very low threat. This spell benefits primarily from Flash Heal, and also increases all of Flash Heal’s effects.

    Soul Warding

This is your Power Word. During this effect, your shield no longer has a cooldown, costs 15% less mana, and even gains 15% more base value. The most exciting thing is that you will gain 50% more healing.

    Vampiric Touch

It will cause Shadow damage to the target enemy for 15 seconds, and also make all your party members gain 2% of Shadow damage as mana.

    Rogue

    Blunderbuss

This skill will fire a blast of muskets at 4 enemies in a cone in front of you, causing a lot of Physical damage.

    Crimson Tempest

This is also a finishing skill that you can choose to end the game. It can directly cut enemies within eight yards, causing them to lose health continuously. The longer it lasts, the more damage it will cause per combo point. In addition, you can also benefit from all talents and effects of Rupture or modify Rupture.

    Fan Of Knives

This will cause you to throw both of your weapons at any target within 5 yards, increasing your weapon damage by 5% when using a dagger.

    Shaman

    Storm, Earth, And Fire

This will reduce the cooldown of your Chain Lightning by 100%, and Earthbind Totem will lock you in place for 5 seconds, and using Flame Shock at this time will cause 60% increased periodic damage.

    Feral Spirit

This will cause you to summon two Spirit Wolves that will do your bidding. This lasts for 45 seconds.

    Coherence

This will reduce your Chain Heal effectiveness by only 35% and your Chain Lightning effectiveness by 20% on each jump. In addition, each jump will also jump to an additional target.

The above is some of the new rune changes in WoW Classic SoD Phase 4. There may be some new runes added to other professions, which you need to explore on your own. I wish you a happy exploration in WoW Classic SoD Phase 4!

  • WOW Classic SOD: Explore The Process Of Obtaining The Priest-Exclusive Eye Of The Void Rune In Phase 3

    Posted: Apr 16, 2024

In WoW Season of Discovery Phase 3, the Eye of the Void rune stands as one of the best BiS Priest runes. While it enhances damage output significantly, its primary advantage lies in cursing the target, thereby debuffing them. It provides the entire raid with a substantial 10% damage increase buff, contingent upon the curse selected.

    Key Considerations

Regarding this rune, there are 2 crucial points to consider. Firstly, it’s impossible to have both the Eye of the Void and the Shadowfiend active simultaneously. If you cast one while the other is still in effect, the initially cast one will be replaced by the new one.

Secondly, only one of 3 distinct curses can affect the target at any given time. Therefore, it’s essential to coordinate with the Warlocks to avoid overlapping curses. It's also a good idea to keep some WoW SOD Gold with you. There are 3 different curses to choose from that last up to 3 minutes each:

    • The Curse of Shadow, which reduces the target’s Shadow and Arcane resistance by 75 and increases our Shadow and Arcane damage by 10%.
    • The Curse of Elements, which reduces the target’s Fire and Frost resistance by 75 and increases our Fire and Frost damage by 10%.
    • The Curse of Tongues, which slows the target’s casting speed and increases the cast time of all spells on the target by up to 60%.

    Collect 7 Different Eyes

To acquire the Eye of the Void rune as the Priest, you have to travel to 7 different locations and acquire 7 different eyes.

    Glowing Eye

The first eye is the Glowing Eye and is located in the Hinterlands at the top of Jintha’Alor in one of the outdoor camps, specifically at coordinates (58,72). You will probably need a group for this. Run past all the elite mobs to make it to the location. We sent both of our Shadowfiends and Homunculi on the elite ads to tank them in the camp while we looted as they were in combat.

    Pulsating Eye

The Pulsing Eye is in the Blasted Lands, located at (49,14) at the top of a tower. You will need the Light Feather because you're going to be using Slow Fall to jump from the top of a mountain towards the tower. The key with this jump is to start off mounted, run, jump, and then pop the Light Feather to get some extra distance.

    Vibrating Eye

The Vibrating Eye is located in the slag pit of Searing Gorge, located at (44,45). Find the entrance to the cave by looking down from the top of the mountain, and then slowly inch yourself off the cliff to fall into the entrance. If you're scared, you can actually backpedal your way off the edge to land on the platform.

    Baleful Eye

The Baleful Eye is located in Stranglethorn Vale at (33,88). It's in one of the pirate ships to the left, directly behind Captain Stillwater. You'll need to kill a few mobs to get this item, but it was easy to solo at Level 50. There are three different boats in this area, so do not get confused. When facing them, it's the one furthest to the left.

    Burning Eye

The Burning Eye is located in Feralas at (57,68) in the Northwest Tower of Ruins of Isildien. Fight your way up the ramp and past the ogres, then head to the right where you'll find the tower. Enter it and loot your eye just behind the night elf NPC.

    Oozing Eye

The Oozing Eye is going to be inside the Silithid Hive in the Gaping Chasm in Tanaris, located at (56,73). Enter the cave via the south entrance, head to the left, and then left again into the circular room. Walk through that room and go right at the end of the tunnel. You will see the eye at the center of the room.

    Piercing Eye

The Piercing Eye is inside Jaedenar, located in Felwood at (35,58). The mobs there are Level 54 to 55, so you may need a friend to help you and it will be more easily. Head inside Jaedenar's entrance and fight your way through the mobs until you get to the last room. You'll see the eye on the table at the very end.

    Get The Priest Rune

Now that you have all 7 eyes, there's one more step you need to take. Head to the very eastern part of Azshara, located at (89,33). There, you'll find the Shrine of the Watcher. Target the shrine and kneel to make the quest appear. Then loot the quest and grab your runes.

  • WOW Clssic SOD: How Can You Expedite Your Gearing Process To Prepare As Swiftly As Possible For Phase 3?

    Posted: Mar 28, 2024

The third phase of the WoW Season of Discovery is scheduled for release on April 4th, bringing with it a new Epic Sunken Temple raid and introducing the new level 50 bracket with various fresh content. However, to fully capitalize on this update, it’s imperative to acquire the best-in-slot gear from Gnomeregan. Without such gear, gaining entry to raids in the initial week will prove to be exceedingly challenging.

    Review Of Gnomeregan

A pressing issue arises from the fact that there are only 3 lockouts left before reaching Sunken Temple. Given this limited timeframe, ensuring success in Pick-Up Groups (PUGs) within Gnomeregan becomes paramount.

Another underwhelming raid performance, whether four out of six or five out of six, is simply not feasible. This raid poses as one of the most daunting challenges in the history of Classic WoW PUGs. It’s uncommon for Trade Chat PUGs to emerge successful in clearing this raid. Hence, insider tips and strategies are essential to secure significant victories in our remaining lockouts. However, overcoming these challenges should be manageable, right?

If you’re part of a guild, raiding seems straightforward and routine at present. This is because each week, the same individuals return, employing identical strategies and tactics. However, this experience is not typical for the average PUG participant. The mechanics of these raids are often too intricate for most groups. Final bosses are particularly punishing, leading to frequent wipes. Failing on these final bosses means missing out on valuable loot, resulting in a frustrating experience. Consequently, some players opt out of raiding altogether, which is unsustainable as we require full BiS gear for Phase 3.

Fortunately, there are tips and tricks available for PUGs to ensure success, especially in the final days of Phase 2. To demonstrate this, we conducted 2 distinct Gnomeregan runs this week, implementing lesser-known strategies to achieve perfect six out of six raid completions.

    PUG Runs At Gnomeregan

Initially, we organized a PUG through Trade Chat, mainly comprising random players. Employing covert tactics, we ensured the group’s success without any possibility of failure. Subsequently, we assembled a team consisting solely of Rogues to demonstrate that with appropriate strategies, any raid composition can achieve success. Let’s delve into the most effective strategies and tactics to optimize your performance in Gnomeregan with any group.

The key to success in any PUG lies in establishing a robust healing core. In our flawless six out of six Trade Chat PUG, we prioritized this aspect. Recognizing that PUG runs typically endure heightened damage, we ensured the presence of an adept Priest as the primary tank healer. Regarding the secondary healer, the choice is flexible, allowing for options such as a Restoration Shaman.

A significant factor contributing to success in Gnomeregan is the inclusion of off-healers alongside primary healers. Both Boomkins and Shadow Priests can substantially augment raid healing, allowing the primary healers to focus on tank healing, which is less taxing on mana. In the world’s current fastest speedrun, a Shadow Priest delivered nearly 150 heals per second on Thermaplugg, while the fourth fastest run witnessed a Boomkin achieving 120 heals per second on Menagerie solely through Wild Growth. Integrating 2 healers with 2 off-healers significantly enhances consistency without compromising damage output.

With the foundational core established, attention turns to tank selection. While I personally favor Shaman tanks as a member of the Horde, Warlock tanks also exhibit commendable performance. More crucial than the specific tank class is the tank’s comprehension of raid strategies. Additionally, an experienced off-tank is advisable for encounters like Menagerie. Given my Horde allegiance, I appreciate the versatility of having a Shaman DPS transition to an off-tank role when necessary.

In terms of DPS, conventional methods involve scrutinizing logs to form groups. However, an alternative approach involves analyzing low percentile data on Warcraft Logs. This data reveals that classes like Melee Hunters, Shamans, Shadow Priests, Warlocks, and Mages consistently perform well, even in the hands of less seasoned players. These classes offer reliability in achieving flawless six out of six raids in a PUG setting, particularly given the advantageous positioning they enjoy in the most challenging encounters, Menagerie and Thermaplugg.

Furthermore, unconventional strategies can yield success. Our Trade Chat PUG, despite adhering to a conventional composition, does not preclude the effectiveness of alternative class configurations. To illustrate, we executed a full Rogue group, completing the raid within an hour. Ultimately, the composition of your group is secondary to the presence of a skilled tank and adequate healing resources, which are essential for navigating the challenges presented in raids.

    Preparations For PUGs

Now, let’s discuss the preparations you can undertake to ensure maximum success for your group before the raid commences.

First and foremost, it’s crucial to ensure that your raid members bring consumables, and it’s advisable to bring extras as a precautionary measure. In our Trade Chat PUG, I personally invested about 8 SoD Gold in acquiring protection potions to facilitate smoother fights. While many participants may already possess these potions, it’s prudent to consider stocking up for future raids.

Additionally, I strongly recommend acquiring the Gnomeregan buff and reserving it exclusively for use during the encounter with Thermaplugg. Once everyone has familiarized themselves with the tactics involved, activating this buff can significantly expedite progress through the fight.

Furthermore, I suggest utilizing 2 essential WeakAuras specifically designed for Gnomeregan. The first is the Gnomeregan WeakAura developed by Fedthaar, which provides timely alerts regarding crucial abilities, target changes, and interrupts. The second is the Thermaplugg Bomb Map, a tool that vastly simplifies the intricate button mechanics associated with the encounter. Ensuring that every member of your PUG has access to these resources can greatly enhance coordination and efficiency during the raid.

Strategies To Achieve Success In PUGs

Now that we’ve covered the necessary groundwork, we’re ready to discuss PUG strategies aimed at maximizing our success.

The essential element for achieving success in PUGs within Gnomeregan lies in employing strategies tailored to each encounter, ensuring effectiveness even in scenarios of poor coordination and limited experience. To exemplify this approach, I’d like to delve into 2 distinct yet successful PUG runs conducted this week. Rather than employing uniform strategies for every boss encounter, we tailored our approach based on the composition of our raid group.

Beginning with Grub, distributing and utilizing Nature Protection Potions prior to engaging in combat significantly alleviates healing challenges. Employing 2 tanks greatly facilitates the encounter, mitigating the threat posed by Chopper to our casters. Additionally, it’s imperative to instruct your Priest to prioritize dispelling Petrify, as neglecting this mechanic can pose a substantial risk to the raid’s success.

Transitioning to Viscous Fallout, our Trade Chat PUG prioritized AoE damage, ensuring that pre-potted Nature Protection Potions were readily available to address any healing concerns. Furthermore, we instructed our Boomkin to promptly utilize Wild Growth when the raid’s health was low. However, our approach with the Rogue team, attempting to bypass the adds and focus solely on the boss, proved to be less effective due to the potential for unnecessary casualties despite our considerable damage output.

For Crowd Pummeler, effective execution hinges on designating a vigilant volunteer to serve as a reference point for positioning and avoiding being knocked off the edge. Although both raids successfully managed this mechanic, an unfortunate instance occurred when lag caused a participant to inadvertently fall off the platform.

Conversely, our approach to handling Electrocutioner 6000 in the Trade Chat PUG involved organizing two groups of three players equidistant from the boss. Each group alternated between maintaining maximum distance from the boss during static mechanics, thereby streamlining the encounter and minimizing complications. This strategy underscores the efficacy of trusting in the competence of 2 players, simplifying the encounter dynamics.

    All Rogues Gnomeregan

Regarding the Rogue group, our approach mirrored that of the previous encounters, albeit with a slight adjustment in which the Rogues maintained a closer proximity to the boss, inducing a heightened sense of apprehension. Remarkably, despite featuring a significant number of melee participants, this tactic proved highly effective.

Transitioning to the Menagerie encounter within the Trade Chat PUG, we opted for a two-tank setup. The key to overcoming the Menagerie challenge in a PUG setting lies in the efficient management of healing resources and mana. I prefer to include a Shadow Priest among the tanking contingent for this encounter, as the tanks bear the brunt of the damage. Additionally, it's crucial to ensure that Boomkins contribute by deploying numerous Wild Growths, given their capacity to provide substantial healing while maintaining competitive damage output.

In terms of healing distribution, I advocate for assigning each healer to a separate tank. This allocation allows for concentrated attention on specific targets, minimizing the risk of fatalities due to delayed healing.

For the Rogue group tackling the Menagerie, we anticipated significant difficulty. To address this, the Rogues preemptively consumed Free Action Potions at the outset to swiftly dispatch the Sheep.

Thermaplugg presents a formidable challenge, particularly in Phase 1, where proficient tank maneuvering is essential. Ideally, participants should consume Fire Protection Potions beforehand, with Free Action Potions ideally available for Phase 2.

A noteworthy recommendation for Trade Chat PUGs is to include the Shadow Priest within the tanking ensemble. Conversely, the strategy for the Rogue group necessitated a notable shift, requiring the assignment of a Rogue rotation responsible for defusing bombs and activating buttons.

In conclusion, we've covered various aspects, including group compositions, preparation guidelines, and optimal strategies. Armed with this knowledge, you can assemble a group equipped with ample healing capabilities to overcome every encounter. Through meticulous preparation, you can substantially enhance your group's likelihood of success, particularly in challenging battles like Thermaplugg. By striking a balance between innovative and traditional approaches, success is attainable irrespective of the composition of your group.
