Path Of Exile 3.25: How To Mine And Utilize Verisium Ores In Settlers Of Kalguur? - Strategies & Preparations
Category: Path Of Exile Posted: Aug 01, 2024 Views: 6379
Verisium Ores are an extremely rare mineral resource in Path of Exile Settlers of Kalguur league. As the top mineral resource, they enable several advanced gameplay features for players’ settlements in Kingsmarch. As you explore the map, you may find these valuable resources, but may not know how to effectively mine them for your settlement. Here’s how to get Verisium Ores in POE 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur.
How To Mine Verisium Ores?
Verisium Ores appear as blue glows on the map. Once you find this ore, you can mine it by holding down the left mouse button or the corresponding button on your controller. A progress bar will appear below Verisium Ores, which will fill up as you continue to mine until you release the button or it reaches its maximum value.

Once you release the button, the number displayed on the progress bar will indicate the number of Verisium Ores you have successfully extracted from the deposit. However, this action will trigger the appearance of enemies. In order to protect your Verisium Ores, you must kill all the monsters that appear.
For less skilled novice players, you can use POE Currency to enhance your character’s equipment to defeat the monsters. If the progress bar is completely filled, more powerful enemies will appear. If you think you can’t handle these powerful enemies, it is recommended that you only mine a quarter or half of the progress bar to avoid attracting too dangerous opponents.
After defeating the enemies, your Verisium Ores will be “marked” for collection. However, to actually obtain these ores, you need to upgrade to rank 6 Mining. Here is a list of materials required to upgrade mining to level 6:
- 6,200 gold
- 40x Orichalcum Bars
- 25x Bismuth Bars
- 20x Corn
In addition, here is a warm reminder. There is a Giveaway function in IGGM discord, and product gift information will be released from time to time. Remember to stay active in the discord group so you don’t miss any news.
Once upgraded, your workers can start mining these “marked” Verisium Ores. The mining specialty rank of the worker does not affect the mining ability, and any worker can mine. However, higher Mining rank can significantly increase mining speed. Therefore, it is important to ensure that you hire the best skilled workers at Recruitment Center.
It is important to note that Verisium Ores are rare in lower-tier maps. As you enter yellow and red maps, the frequency of finding Verisium Ores increases, at least on par with other ores.
What Are Verisium Ores Used For?

Of all the ores, Verisium Ores provide the most significant shipment value. Smelting Verisium Ores into Verisium Bars can increase their shipment value by three times, making them more valuable than other resources in the late game.
Since your goal is to accumulate currency, increasing shipment value by using Verisium Bars will help you get more generous rewards.
In addition, these Verisium Ores can be used to unlock high-tier rank upgrades for several features in Kingsmarch. However, to complete these upgrades, you need to smelt Verisium Ores into Verisium Bars first.
After reading the above guide, you should now have a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively obtain and utilize Verisium Ores. Remember, these rare resources will not only enhance the functionality of your settlement, but will also bring you a huge economic advantage in the late game.
Therefore, when you spot blue glows while exploring the map, do not hesitate to start mining and be prepared to face the monsters guarding these precious resources. Make sure your workers have enough skills to mine these ores efficiently and maximize your gains by smelting them.

Path of Exile 3.29 Endgame Kineticist Mercenary Guide: Avoid Overpaying from 10 Divines to 5 Mirrors
Players, if you want to play a Kineticist in the current Path of Exile 3.29, it's not cheap in this league because it can't be farmed specifically on Atlas tree. A decent Kineticist will generally cost ten times more than a Wild Strike Mercenary of the same quality.
Therefore, we've compiled a list of key points for choosing a Kineticist Mercenary to help you identify high-priced traps in PoE.
Skill Selection
Primary Skills
The first two fixed skills for a Kineticist are always Elemental Weakness and Flame Wall. There are six other skills that can be changed, with Kinetic Blast of Clustering being the absolute first choice, excelling in both single-target damage and area-of-effect clearing.
Kinetic Bolt has decent area-of-effect clearing ability but is severely lacking in single-target damage. Barrage is only useful in single-target scenarios and used infrequently. Greater Kinetic Blast has an 8-second cooldown, meaning it can only be cast approximately every eight seconds.
While Kinetic Rain of Impact deals decent damage to large targets, its map clearing ability falls short, so it's best not to waste your PoE currency here.
Power Siphon is rarely used, so we can ignore it here as well.
Overall, when choosing a Kineticist, it's best to avoid Kinetic Bolt, Power Siphon, and Kinetic Rain of Impact, as these skills will alternate with Kinetic Blast of Clustering, resulting in a direct loss of approximately 50% of your effective damage output.

Auras and Movement Skills
Haste is a very powerful aura, providing Kineticists with approximately 27% attack speed, equivalent to an extra Faster Attacks II support gem.
As for movement skills, Flame Dash or Frostblink are acceptable and not considered useless affixes.
Some players believe that equipping Kineticist with a movement skill is better than Inspiring Cry, because while Inspiring Cry is active, Kineticist stops attacking and only provides a 25% damage increase, while Flame Dash doesn't trigger in single-target combat and has no negative impact on DPS rhythm.
Therefore, two movement skills - Flame Dash or Frost Blink - are the more ideal choices.
Core Support Gems
Furthermore, support gems are an important factor to consider when choosing Kineticist in PoE 3.29.
Return III is the most important support gem for Kinetic Blast of Clustering. It allows projectiles to penetrate targets, explode in mid-air, return, and trigger another explosion, effectively doubling the damage.
In addition to Return III, Kineticist also needs at least one support gem to help clear the map.
Chain II
Projectiles chain to subsequent targets after penetrating the first target, triggering an explosion on each hit. It has the best coverage effect on scattered groups of monsters and offers the best overall performance.
Greater Fork III
Also compatible with Kinetic Blast of Clustering mechanic, it's highly efficient at clearing dense monster groups in Path of Exile, slightly less efficient than Chain II but still an excellent choice.
Pierce III
Compared to Chain II and Greater Fork III, this support gem is weaker, but still usable by Kineticists.
In any case, Kineticists must possess at least one of the three clearing support gems for them to be worthwhile in PoE.
Different Price Strategies
Minimum Configuration
If your currency is extremely limited, prioritize Kineticists with Kinetic Blast of Clustering and Return III, plus the Barrage and Greater Kinetic Blast skills.
This configuration starts at around 10 Divine Orbs, sufficient for clearing in Path of Exile 3.29, though single-target damage output is less than ideal.

Mid-Game Configuration
Once your resources become more abundant, you can consider adding a Haste aura to the minimum configuration mentioned above. This will significantly increase the price to over 15 Divines, but your Kineticist's overall performance in the game will be noticeably improved.
Advanced Configuration
Having already obtained Return III and a map-clearing support gem, you'll need to add at least one more damage-focused support gem, such as Elemental Damage with Attacks or Critical Damage.
However, remember to filter out Pierce III during the search, keeping only Chain II and Greater Fork III for a better map-clearing experience.
This configuration is expected to cost between 40 and 200 Divines, and Kineticist's performance is already quite reliable, suitable for most late-game PoE content.
High-End Configuration
If you still want to challenge higher difficulties or achieve even more outstanding results in PoE, you can also require Kineticist to have Return III, a map-clearing support gem, a damage support gem, and Greater Multiple Projectiles. Because Kineticists that simultaneously meet all these requirements are rare, their market price typically ranges from 1.5 to 5 Mirrors of Kalandra.
Additionally, when searching, avoid setting overly complex filters; just retain the core necessary criteria, and then manually check each usable damage support gem.
It's worth noting that if the budget for any of these Kineticist setups is beyond your means, you can now follow IGGM PoE Facebook Group, as we are currently hosting giveaways, and you can participate by following us now for a chance to win free currency!
In summary, although Kineticists are relatively expensive, and top-tier configurations are scarce in PoE 3.29, Kineticists are ultimately the best choice for the late game, so go for it!

Path of Exile 3.29 Harvest Farming Guide | How to Build a Consistent Lifeforce and Currency Farming Setup?
In PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame League, Harvest has always been one of the best farming strategies. It provides consistent returns in the early stages, and if you are willing to take a gamble, it can sometimes bring some very pleasant surprises.
Harvest really shows its potential when your currency reserves have been drained and you need to start farming again. Not only does it offer an impressive return rate, but it is also simple to run and can generate a large amount of basic PoE currency.

Why Choose Harvest?
The core advantage of Harvest mechanic lies in its extremely high return on investment. Under normal circumstances, you only need to invest around 150 to 250 Chaos Orbs, with the potential to generate returns worth 7 to 10 Divine Orbs.
On Atlas Passive Tree, allocate all the key Harvest passives while also investing in Heist-related passives. You do not have to choose Heist, however, and can instead take a route that increases the chance of Scarab drops.
Scarab
Path of Exile Harvest has very low Scarab requirements. The only irreplaceable one is Harvest Scarab of Doubling, which doubles the Life of all monsters while making them drop twice as much Lifeforce.
This effect can stack. If you also obtain a chance to duplicate Lifeforce, Lifeforce can be duplicated again on top of this effect, making the combination extremely powerful.
You can freely choose the remaining Scarabs. It is recommended to stack as much monster pack size as possible, which allows more Lifeforce to drop.
When you do not have much PoE currency, you may not be able to choose the more valuable Scarabs. That is perfectly fine, and you can use the following setup:
- Harvest Scarab of Doubling × 1
- Scarab of Monstrous Lineage × 2
- Influencing Scarab of Hordes × 1
Their combined value should usually stay below 20 Chaos Orbs, while they can potentially generate hundreds of Chaos Orbs in returns.
You can also buy PoE currency at IGGM.com as starting capital. If you are a registered IGGM user, you will also receive points after completing the transaction.
You can use these points to redeem discount codes or cash coupons in IGGM Coupons, saving you money for your next transaction.
Astrolabe
Once you have accumulated several thousand PoE Chaos Orbs, or even just several hundred, you can trade for some Harvest Astrolabes (Fruiting Astrolabe), which currently sit at around 180 Chaos Orbs.
They guarantee that The Sacred Grove appears in every map, saving a large number of Atlas Passive Tree points. They also provide various bonuses as you continue using them, such as additional monsters and monster duplication.
When you complete a map, Astrolabe adds modifiers to its adjacent maps, while the map you have just completed disappears from Astrolabe.
Using Synthesised Stability
This is the approach for players who prioritize speed. After allocating this Keystone, Astrolabe randomly selects one map to fold. You do not need to spend time managing the map chain and can repeatedly farm the same map you prefer.
The advantage is that the process is extremely straightforward and highly efficient. The downside is that you cannot actively choose the map modifiers, which means you may miss some particularly Juicy maps.
Not Using Synthesised Stability
If you do not use this Keystone, you need to manually choose maps located at the edge of the map chain. Once completed, only the current map is folded without affecting the rest of the chain, allowing you to stack more modifiers on other maps within the chain.
Core target modifiers:
- Harvest Seeds in Area at least Tier 2
- Tier 2 Harvest Seeds can be Tier 3
- Quantity of Lifeforce
- Spawn Duplicated Monsters
- Unchosen Crop does not Wilt
The chance for Tier 4 crops, the chance for Tier 3 crops to upgrade to Tier 4, and the chance to drop Harvest Scarabs are not your first priorities.
You can first run maps along the edge of the chain and roll or stack the ideal modifiers onto the map you want. Then allocate Synthesised Stability Keystone and repeatedly farm that map to ensure stable returns.
Besides Harvest farming, if you want to acquire PoE currency more easily, you can participate in PoE 1+2 free currency giveaway on IGGM Facebook. If you win, you and 9 other winners will share the currency reward!
Map Selection
To maximize your returns, your target should be 8-mod maps. When filtering maps on the market, look for the following modifiers:
- Item Quantity: at least 100%
- Pack Size: at least 40%
At the same time, make sure to avoid modifiers that could pose a lethal threat to your character build. The recommended base maps are Jungle Valley, Cemetery, or City Square because their layouts are simple and their boss encounters are quick.
The Eater of Worlds
When progressing through maps, prioritize finding and clicking The Eater of Worlds altars, choosing options that increase Item Quantity. This can significantly increase the amount of Lifeforce generated by Harvest.
However, keep in mind that taking too many altar debuffs can severely weaken your character, so choose them according to your defensive capabilities.
If the survival pressure becomes too high, you can choose the red The Searing Exarch altars instead, as the Incandescent Invitation they can generate is also highly valuable. Alternatively, you can simply choose options that only affect Minions.
How to Farm Lifeforce?
After entering The Sacred Grove, your first choice should be Yellow Lifeforce (Vivid Crystallised Lifeforce), which has the highest value. Roughly 19 to 20 Yellow Lifeforce can be exchanged for 1 Chaos Orb.
Blue Lifeforce should be your second choice, while Purple Lifeforce should be avoided because its value is extremely low. In many cases, Lifeforce dropped by a single Yellow rare monster can be worth more than the entire amount dropped by a Purple crop boss.
You should prioritize crops containing monsters with blue names, as they drop the most Lifeforce. Look for the blue-line indicators surrounding the crops.
Try to avoid activating Tier 4 boss encounters whenever possible. They have Immunity Phases, making the fights time-consuming and dangerous while reducing overall mapping efficiency.
In addition to providing Lifeforce, Path of Exile Harvest has another major advantage: it can also provide a large amount of XP. This makes it particularly suitable for players who have just reached the endgame stage, and you can consistently generate 1 to 2+ Divine Orbs worth of returns from each map.

PoE 3.29 Breach Fortress Farming Guide: How to Consistently Farm Currency with 8-Mod Maps?
Exiles, do you love seeing your screen filled with currency and Womb Gifts raining down? If so, then this Breach Fortress farming strategy is tailor-made for you.
The core idea of this strategy is to farm 8-mod maps, using specific Scarab combinations to convert Breach Hives into Hive Fortresses, and achieving stable profits through high-density monster kills and map drops.
In Path of Exile 3.29, Breach remains one of the best ways to produce a large amount of currency. Although the official has made some adjustments to Breach, with proper configuration, this strategy is still very profitable.
Map and Scarab Configuration
Map Selection

Jungle Valley is an ideal map choice for this strategy. First, its map layout is relatively simple, and the overall route is intuitive, making it less likely to waste time navigating complex terrain. Secondly, the boss doesn't interfere with the altar mechanics, so there's no need to deal with boss-related altar effects, allowing you to focus more on the map's inherent rewards. In addition, this map drops the divination card The Fortunate, and collecting 6 cards can be exchanged for 1 Divine Orb, which is another potential bonus.
This strategy uses 8-mod Corrupted Maps, prioritizing Originator Maps. These maps, besides regular map affixes, can also roll Nightmare Map-specific affixes.
When choosing Originator Maps, it's recommended to prioritize maps with a Map Drop Chance of 70% or higher. If the budget allows, using the 8-mod maps is highly recommended. This is because Escalation Scarabs further increase Map Drop Chance based on the number of affixes on the map; therefore, the two extra affixes not only mean higher map affix effects but also directly translate into higher map drop rewards.
Scarab Combinations
This strategy uses five Scarabs, with the core idea of simultaneously increasing map drop count, map affix rewards, and the appearance rate of Hive Fortresses.
This strategy uses a fixed 5 Scarabs:
- 1 x Cartography Scarab of Escalation: Increases map drop rate based on the number of map affixes.
- 2 x Cartography Scarab of the Multitude: Adds additional Difficult and Rewarding Monsters to the map, increasing the map drop rate by 300%.
- 1 x Cartography Scarab of Corruption: Makes all dropped non-unique maps 8-mod.
- 1 x Breach Scarab of the Marshal: Forces Breach Hive to Hive Fortress.
If you want to accumulate starting capital faster, you can also buy PoE currency from IGGM.com to obtain 8-mod Maps and specific Scarabs.
Good news! Register and log in to your account to participate in daily IGGM Check in to earn free points. Accumulate points to redeem coupons, which will directly deduct part of your order cost!
Practical Guide
The actual operation of this strategy is not complicated. The core is:
Enter the map → Find the altar → Clear the map → Fight the boss → Enter Hive Fortress → Defend → Collect loot
The real key points are altar selection, positioning within the Hive, and when to evacuate.
Entering the Map
First, place the prepared T16 8-mod Originator Map, ensuring the map affixes don't exceed your build's limits. Then, enter the map with the previously prepared Scarab.
After entering the map, don't rush directly to Hive. Clear the map normally while keeping an eye out for Blue Altars. The most important altar benefit of this strategy is map duplication, followed by map quantity, rarity, and other bonuses.
Prioritize Finding Map Duplication Altars
During map clearing, upon seeing a Blue Altar, prioritize checking for map duplication options. Map duplication is a crucial source of income for this strategy because your goal is to mass-produce 8-mod maps. Being able to turn one map drop into two is extremely beneficial.
If you don't have map duplication, you can choose rewards related to quantity and rarity. However, don't choose dangerous negative effects that you can't handle just for a slightly higher quantity.
Defeat the Boss
After clearing the main map, be sure to defeat the map boss. The boss usually drops map loot, and in this strategy, these drops also have a chance to become 8-mod maps, so don't enter the Hive immediately after clearing the regular mobs.
If your map is Jungle Valley, its advantage becomes apparent: the boss won't cause additional interference with altar selection, allowing for a more stable completion of the map.
Enter Hive Fortress
After clearing the map, go to Hive and enter Hive Fortress. If you have time, you can open the chests in Hive first. These chests have a chance to provide Womb Gifts and other additional rewards. However, this is an extra benefit and not the core of this strategy. If you prioritize efficiency, you can also go directly to the center to start defending.
Begin Defense Event
Upon entering the Fortress, the core objectives are twofold: protect Ailith and ensure your own survival.
Enemies will continuously appear from multiple directions, so avoid standing in one spot and tanking the damage. It's recommended to continuously circle around the central area, allowing your summons, totems, or auto-attack skills to constantly deal with the monsters.
If your build boasts high damage output and survivability, you can proactively clear surrounding monsters and walls as needed; if your build is more automated, minimize manual control and focus primarily on positioning and protecting Ailith.
Find the Exit First
This is a crucial tip in actual combat. The first wave of enemies is relatively small, giving you the opportunity to circle around beforehand and confirm the Fortress's exit location.
Because a continuous damage zone will appear after the defense event, if you know the exit's location beforehand, you can move directly towards it after the event, avoiding the need to re-find a route amidst heavy damage. This seemingly insignificant maneuver significantly reduces the probability of dying in the final phase.
Evacuate Immediately After Defense Event
Don't greedily hunt monsters inside Fortress after the event. Once the exit appears, leave Hive immediately to complete this map.
It's especially important to note that in Hive, unlike regular maps, you can't re-enter using remaining portals. Therefore, survival is a much higher priority during the defense phase than in regular maps.
Loot Management
After completing the map, categorize the loot. Many regular 8-mod maps can be directly sold in bulk in the trading warehouse; this is the most stable source of income.
Don't sell Originator Maps and Nightmare Maps as regular maps; check their affixes first. High map drop rates, high currency, high Scarab, etc., can make them worth far more than their base price.
Ancient Womb Gifts can be sold directly or exchanged using Hive Blood to pursue high-value drops like Foulborn unique. If you want to acquire additional currency, you can participate in PoE 1+2 free currency giveaway on IGGM Facebook. We will randomly select ten active participants to receive free orbs, so don't miss out!
If you enjoy PoE high-density mob farming, stable map drops, and the thrill of a bit of gambling, then Breach Fortress strategy is definitely worth a try. It doesn't guarantee a big win on every map, but the consistent drop rate from 8 mod maps, coupled with the additional caps from Womb Gifts and Genesis Trees, makes the farming loop a balance between stable income and the potential for huge riches.

Path of Exile 3.29 The Draugur's Lantern Shield Turning Chieftain Builds into Screen-Wiping Fire Gods!
It is clear that 3.29 league is a high priority for Path of Exile; recent patches have either significantly optimized gameplay or introduced new gear based on existing items, such as The Draugur's Lantern Ancient Spirit Shield added in patch 3.29.1.
Since this patch launched just over a week ago and the shield wasn't explicitly highlighted in the patch notes, you might have missed it. However, it is actually quite interesting and effective, especially when paired with Chieftain Ascendancy.
If you are playing this Ascendancy class or are interested in the shield, this targeted guide is worth a look.

Why is The Draugur's Lantern a good fit for Chieftain?
The effect of this Path of Exile shield is that, once equipped, whenever you ignite an enemy within a 3-meter radius, the shield generates special Draugurflames to burn enemies. This deals fire damage equal to 15% of the strongest ignite damage you have inflicted over the past 8 seconds.
This effect is particularly well-suited for Chieftain players because Ascendancy features a notable passive skill called Hinekora, Death's Fury. This skill gives you a chance to cause enemies to explode upon death, dealing fire damage equal to 250% of the enemy's maximum life.
Building on this, The Draugur's Lantern projects 15% of that damage as an aura around you; effectively, this deals damage equal to 37.5% of the monster's life as an ignite effect lasting 8 seconds.
Consequently, when you trigger a massive ignite using Hinekora, Death's Fury, you can spread the ignite effect, much like a proliferation mechanic, dealing massive damage and instantly killing all targets within range.
Since the shield's effect lasts for 8 seconds and is unaffected by ignite duration modifiers or other external factors, it becomes incredibly powerful when you successfully trigger a large-scale explosion.
How to further enhance the shield's effect?
While the base Draugurflames effect is already impressive, few Path of Exile players are content to settle for the base stats on their gear. There are essentially two strategies to boost this effect: increasing the damage value or extending the duration.
When you acquire Draugurflames, its potency is determined by the powerful ignite you inflict on the target; this means any modifiers that boost ignite damage will directly enhance the effect throughout its 8-second duration.
It is important to note that ignite-related factors do not alter the buff's duration, but rather the total damage dealt, as the base ignite damage itself is higher. This is precisely why The Draugur's Lantern shield features a modifier that causes inflicted ignites to deal damage faster.
In other words, of the two strategies to enhance Draugurflames, extending the duration is neither easy nor necessary. Instead, your focus should be on enabling a large volume of ignite effects to deal damage at an accelerated rate.
To achieve this, you should prioritize all Faster Ignite nodes on the passive skill tree and further boost this stat via Anointments to significantly increase ignite damage. Attributes such as Fire Damage Multiplier, More Fire Damage, and Increased Fire Damage are also crucial.
Building on this, if you are playing a Path of Exile Chieftain, you can craft Righteous Fire Build and incorporate The Draugur's Lantern.
Ramako, Sun's Light notable required for this build reduces the fire resistance of nearby enemies, who are taking damage from your damage-over-time effects, by 20% while you remain stationary.
Alternatively, you can buy PoE currency on IGGM to acquire The Will of Xoph ring from the trade market. This ring features a unique modifier that scales your fire skill auras based on your increased fire damage stats at a 15% ratio, up to a maximum of 150%.
Reaching this cap usually requires stacking 1,000% increased fire damage, but equipping two of these rings makes achieving it much easier.
If you currently lack on budget to buy enough PoE currency to trade or upgrade more gear, don't worry, IGGM Point System offers a cost-saving solution: simply register, log in, and visit the check-in page to sign in daily!
Doing so allows you to accumulate points, which can later be redeemed for discount code and cash coupon when shopping on IGGM. In other words, with the same budget, having check-in points allows you to get more PoE currency!
More skills that pair well with The Draugur's Lantern
To fully utilize The Will of Xoph ring, you need to find ways to gain additional fire damage bonuses. Unlocking Chieftain's Namahu's Flames Advance passive skill is a great way to achieve this.
It converts increases and reductions to non-fire damage types provided by non-unique jewels within its radius into increases and reductions to fire damage. Additionally, it grants extra strength from the jewels within that radius.
Strength bonus also provides a significant amount of additional base life. Factoring in aura effect bonuses can further amplify these gains.
If possible, you can also unlock Aspect of Solaris skill (new in PoE 3.29) to further boost your effectiveness. It applies an aura-like effect around you, inflicting a base 10% Fire Exposure on nearby enemies.
When combined with the fire mastery on the passive skill tree, you gain an additional 5% exposure. This brings the base Fire Exposure to 15%, with the effect intensifying by 15% per second.
However, if you encounter a tough single-target boss, you might switch to Pyroclast Mine of Sabotage skill. It also applies Fire Exposure but starts with a much higher base value of 25%.
Summary
Among all the new gear introduced in PoE 3.29, The Draugur's Lantern shield stands out as an excellent item. It is also relatively easy to obtain; simply farming more voyages gives you a chance to see it drop.
While pairing it with Chieftain is a reliable strategy, feel free to experiment with other Ascendancy classes and skills to see how they synergize with The Draugur's Lantern, allowing you to choose the strategy that works best for you.

PoE 3.29.2 Hidden Profits Revealed: Abyss Scarab Prices Surge and Legion Changes Impact Unique Drops
Path of Exile received patch 3.29.2, a significant update focusing on deep adjustments to Abyss and Legion mechanics, while also providing several optimizations to the current Curse of the Allflame league.
Abyss Changes
Abyss is the most anticipated aspect of this patch, with changes on two levels: increased elite monster stats and a rework of Abyss Scarab of Crystals mechanic.

Elite Monster Enhancement
Elite monsters spawned in Abyss Pits will have increased monster effectiveness. This concept was first introduced in PoE 2 and subsequently ported back to the first game - they can be understood as the elite of the elite, more durable, with significantly better loot and experience than regular monsters of the same rarity in the same area.
Abyss Scarab of Crystals Reworked
This is another major core change in this Abyss update. Previously named Abyss Scarab of Edifice, its effect was to generate Abyssal Crystals from Abyss Pits that didn't contain rewards. However, a problem arose - since subsequent closed Pits had an increasingly higher chance of generating rewards, very few Pits actually triggered Crystals.
Patch 3.29.2 changes this: Abyss Scarab of Crystals will now generate a Crystal on every non-final Pit. Even if Pit itself generates a reward, Crystal will still appear simultaneously. The purpose of Abyssal Crystals is to increase the difficulty and rewards of all subsequent Abyss monsters, meaning it's a snowballing benefit mechanism.
It's worth noting that the value of Abyss Scarab of Crystals has skyrocketed since the patch release. If you're considering acquiring it but have limited resources, you can buy PoE currency from IGGM.com, as the benefits of this mechanism far outweigh the cost.
Additionally, you can register and log in to your account to use the latest IGGM Points System. Earn points by daily checking in or completing orders - points can be directly deducted from your next order or redeemed for coupons!
Legion Changes: Crystal Overcharge Mechanism
Legion changes are quite subtle - they don't apply in all situations and require players to make judgments based on their goals.
Items shrouded in Crystal of Permutation can now be charged up to 3 times. Each charge increases Variant Rarity, and the higher Variant Rarity, the more likely the resulting Vestigial item is to be a Unique item. Furthermore, just one charge, granting at least 1 point of Variant Rarity, allows you to break Crystal and retrieve Vestigial Item.
This mechanism tilts all items towards rarity, but sometimes rarity isn't always better.
For example, The Gull is the most common Unique item in the game and isn't inherently valuable, but if the resulting Vestigial Item inherits its specific Unique Implicit property, it can have a high trading value.
If your goal is precisely this Vestigial Implicit property from The Gull, then overcharging may not be the best option. Because each charge increases Variant Rarity, it also means that the weight of common Uniques like The Gull will be further reduced.
Therefore, charging isn't simply a matter of mindlessly charging three times. If the goal is extremely rare Uniques like Mageblood or Headhunter, multiple charges can increase the chance of encountering them; however, if the goal is the high-value Implicit provided by common Uniques like The Gull, then only one charge is needed to meet the conditions for breaking Crystal.
Voyage & Offerings to the Deep Altars Optimization
Voyage mechanism is the core gameplay of Curse of the Allflame league. Patch 3.29.2 makes significant adjustments to Offers to the Deep Altars involving currency conversion:
- Altars now directly display their probability of providing currency conversion;
- Conversion probabilities have been increased across the board: regular Blessings from 4% to 10%, and Empowered Blessings from 8% to 20%;
- Altars appear less frequently overall, but their effects are more pronounced each time they appear.
In summary, as long as you regularly find and interact with these altars, the total number of conversions will remain roughly the same or slightly higher in the long run.
If you want to earn more currency, you can participate in PoE 1+2 free currency giveaway on IGGM Facebook. If you're lucky enough, you might receive a large amount of orbs for free! Click the Giveaways entry in the top navigation bar of IGGM homepage to access the giveaway event and participate in related discussions.
In addition, this patch comprehensively optimizes Voyage experience in Path of Exile:
- A new button for one-click loot pickup has been added.
- Leaving an encounter via a spare capsule is now possible without placing all lanterns.
- Allflame Capsules can now be used by multiple players to send loot to the ground (shared inventory capacity).
- The inventory display in Charted Charts within Voyage planning UI has been doubled.
- Modifiers on Charts that previously increased gold gain now increase item rarity.
Overall, while these changes don't fundamentally alter the gameplay, they address almost all the pain points in the player's daily experience, making the Voyage gameplay smoother and more efficient.
Next Week's Preview: Cursed Ducats
Besides the immediate changes in POE 3.29.2, the official announcement also previewed a major update for next week's upcoming patch: six different Cursed Ducats will be obtainable through various endgame methods. These Ducats are quest items and are not tradable.
The navigation interface will feature three new slots, similar to Voidstone slots on Atlas UI. Players can insert Cursed Ducats into these slots, with a maximum of three active at a time. Each Cursed Ducat increases the quantity and rarity of items dropped by monsters in Chart and Voyage encounters, but also introduces unique difficulty modifiers. You can selectively use Cursed Ducats based on the strength of your build.
Overall, Patch 3.29.2 not only enhances the gameplay depth of Abyss and Legion but also further optimizes the overall experience of Curse of the Allflame league. With the release of Cursed Ducats next week, endgame gameplay and reward strategies will see even more exciting new changes.

Path of Exile 3.29 Fast XP Farming Methods | Best Abyss, Breach, and Beyond Strategies for Leveling
Leveling in Path of Exile 3.29 is a very slow process. Even experienced players often need more than ten hours to complete the campaign. Once you enter the endgame, your leveling speed becomes even slower.
Especially after reaching level 90, you need an enormous amount of XP to gain each additional level. The methods below can provide a huge amount of XP, but they are not the most efficient strategies for generating currency.

How to Gain Large Amounts of XP?
The main source of XP comes from monsters, so the key is to maximize monster density and choose mechanics that can generate large numbers of enemies.
In PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame League, Abyss no longer requires players to chase moving cracks across the map. Instead, large groups of Lightless monsters continuously spawn around Abyss fissure, creating much higher monster density and faster clearing compared to the previous League. The mechanic can also be further enhanced through Atlas passives and Scarabs.
Legion also provides extremely high monster density. In PoE 3.29, the official team did not adjust the number of monsters in Legion and only changed its rewards. However, both Legion and Delirium place high requirements on character DPS. If your damage is insufficient, you may end up being killed by the monsters.
Since deaths cause you to lose a large amount of XP, it is better to prioritize safer mechanics. Abyss and Breach are the most recommended options.
Abyss + Beyond
Abyss appears as a green ground fissure and usually spawns near groups of monsters. Approaching the fissure causes it to expand and begin spawning enemies.
You need to kill monsters around the fissure to close Abyss, which encourages it to spawn even more enemies. Once enough fissures have been closed, the center will collapse and create an Abyss Pit, from which large numbers of stronger Abyss monsters will emerge. These monsters absorb modifiers from monsters killed near the pit, making them more difficult to defeat.
Unlike Abyss, Beyond does not naturally appear in maps. You must manually add Beyond mechanic to your maps. Beyond monsters come from Beyond Portals, which can be activated through Atlas passives, Beyond Scarabs, or map device modifiers.
When you kill groups of nearby enemies, Beyond monsters will be attracted and appear, making this mechanic extremely suitable for high monster density farming.
Map Selection
For this strategy, prioritize maps with open layouts and high monster density, such as Jungle Valley, Strand, and Cemetery.
During this farming method, each map will drop large amounts of PoE currency and maps. Picking up every item individually will significantly slow down your pace. Therefore, it is recommended to directly obtain eight-mod maps instead of crafting them yourself.
When searching through trade tools, block the following dangerous modifiers:
- Increased Monster Critical Strike Chance or Critical Strike Damage
- Reduced Block Chance
- Reduced Maximum Resistances
Maps containing these high-risk modifiers will weaken your survivability and may cause your character to die, so they should be avoided.
Scarab
- Abyss Scarab of Multitudes ×2: Increases the number of Abyss monsters generated. Each Scarab costs around 2 Chaos Orbs.
- Abyss Scarab ×3: Adds additional Abyssal monsters to the map. Each Scarab costs around 3 Chaos Orbs.
How to Farm?
Simply place Scarabs and eight-mod maps into Map Device. After entering the map, only clear Abyss encounters. Once they are completed, immediately return to town through the portal. Do not run any additional content, then open the next map and repeat the process.
During the entire process, there is no need to pick up ordinary PoE currency drops from the ground. Focus only on valuable items such as Valdo's Puzzle Box, Divine Orbs, Nightmare Maps, or other rare valuable drops.
However, because the number of dropped items is extremely high, using a strict filter is highly recommended. Otherwise, the screen will quickly become overwhelmed with equipment and currency drops.
This strategy isn't primarily focused on currency farming, so you might still have very little currency even after reaching level 100. However, you can participate in IGGM Facebook Group PoE currency free giveaway. Winners can receive a large amount of PoE Divine Orbs, Chaos Orbs, and Exalted Orbs.
You can also quickly join IGGM PoE Facebook Group to participate in discussions, giveaways, and more via Giveaway option in the top navigation bar of Path of Exile product page.
Breach + Beyond
Breach + Beyond strategy is very similar to Abyss + Beyond, with the main difference being the types of drops available. The overall cost is slightly higher than the previous method, but the potential returns are also significantly greater.
Breach requires players to kill as many monsters as possible within a limited time while enemies continuously emerge from Breach. The faster you kill, the longer Breach remains active, allowing more monsters and rewards to appear.
In endgame maps, Breach has an 8%-10% base chance to naturally appear, but Atlas passives and Scarabs can ensure that it appears in every map.
During this farming method, Divine Orbs often drop naturally in the maps you run. You can also use Ancient Wombgift to gamble for powerful unique items such as Headhunter or Mageblood.
Map Selection
This strategy also prioritizes open-layout maps with fewer obstacles, such as Dunes and Jungle Valley. These layouts allow Breach circles to expand fully and prevent monsters from getting trapped in corners.
You also need a build with strong AoE damage and fast clearing speed to eliminate large numbers of monsters within a short period.
Scarab
- Breach Scarab of Instability ×2: Adds 4 additional unstable Breaches to the map, increasing Breach event density. Each Scarab costs around 7 Chaos Orbs.
- Scarab of Monstrous Lineage ×2: Increases the percentage of Magic monsters in monster packs by 80%. Each Scarab costs around 4.8 Chaos Orbs.
- Beyond Scarab of the Invasion ×1: Generates additional Beyond monsters and further increases the number of enemies available to kill. Each Scarab costs around 1.5 Chaos Orbs.
Both strategies do not require heavy investment, and the build requirements are also relatively low since most enemies you encounter are only Magic monsters. However, high movement speed and powerful area-clear builds remain the best choices because they provide the highest efficiency.
