  As a water biome map, The Fractured Lake can only be found near bodies of water, so if you plan to farm it specifically, start by looking for the nearest unexplored lake.

  The Fractured Lake is special in that it benefits from the famous Local Knowledge currency drop boost effect in Atlas, and has a hidden modifier inside that increases the number of rare monsters by 150-300%. This way you can get more currency under the influence of Local Knowledge by killing more monsters.

  How To Farm?

  The scene in this map is actually very similar to Kalandra League in Path of Exile 1. Your map spawn point and the surrounding area are several basalt pillars standing in the water, and some small monsters are lurking on other pillars.

  Until you move to the pillars near these monsters, they are in a static state and you can’t attack them. As you expand the scope of exploration, all the pillars will gradually rise to form a complete road surface, allowing you to approach these monsters.

  It is worth noting that all rare monsters in this unique map are mirrored, which means that in each battle you must fight two identical versions of each rare enemy at the same time. This doubling effect greatly increases the difficulty of completing the map, and it is an actual test of your survival, skills, and strategy.

  

  Final Loot

  After killing the monsters and bosses on the map, you will find a Fragmented Mirror at the end of the map, which contains loot rewards exclusive to the map, and each has a different prefix or suffix effect, which are:

  • Dusk Ring: Prefixes+1 / Suffixes-1
  • Gloam Ring: Prefixes-1 / Suffixes+1
  • Penumbra Ring: Prefixes+2 / Suffixes-2
  • Tenebrous Ring: Prefixes-2 / Suffixes+2
  • Dusk Amulet: Prefixes+1 / Suffixes-1
  • Gloam Amulet: Prefixes-1 / Suffixes+1
  • Penumbra Amulet: Prefixes+2 / Suffixes-2
  • Tenebrous Amulet: Prefixes-2 / Suffixes+2

  These rings or amulets often have impossible combinations, such as fire, cold, thunder, and all element resistance as suffix modifiers on rings or amulets, thus opening up the possibility of making rings or amulets, helping you enrich your POE 2 builds in this way.
