  If you accumulate three stacks of this incineration effect on an enemy, your next ranged attack will trigger an explosion. And consuming all stacks and dealing burst damage and 100% weapon damage to all enemies in the designated area.

  This artifact is a bow. Its unique perk, Contagion, fires poisonous arrows. Direct hits trigger a vortex, sucking nearby enemies in and creating an Infected Cloud that lasts for 5 minutes. For 10 seconds, enemies caught in the cloud receive 25% poison damage per second.

  Like Incinerating Hatchet, this bow has one weapon mastery slot and one offensive slot, as well as two fixed perks: Distained Infliction II and Plagued Strikes II.

  To obtain Contagious Plague, you need to defeat the level 75 spider boss, Uttu, located west of Everfall settlement in Nighthaven, newly released in Season 10.

  What Changes Have Been Made To The Artifact System In Season 10?

  First, the stat scaling of Inferno, The Abyss, and Lifetaker now works correctly under the new system. Issues with Vengeance not triggering on critical hits, as well as issues with stamina and mana regeneration not being as expected, have been fixed.

  • Blooddrinker: Reduced the downside from 25% to 20%. Furthermore, the damage reduction is smaller if the target is diseased.
  • Gilli's Gravity Gauntlets: Increased the power of each charge and reduced the maximum number of charges.
  • Freya's Francisca: Provides a bonus effect, dealing 25% chain damage to nearby targets when triggered.
  • Dorgort's Blade: Consumes burn damage and deals the remaining damage once, similar to a finishing move.
  • Plgueherald Mask: Increases the power of self-inflicted diseases from 1% to 2%.

  New World Season 10, Nighthaven, has launched. Players are currently in the exploration phase, gathering resources and leveling up, which requires a lot of resources. As you explore, level up, and battle in Season 10, you'll gradually unlock Season Pass rewards.

  So what are Season Pass rewards for Season 10? What are some notable rewards? And how can players quickly progress through Season Pass?

  

  Season Pass Details

  New World: Aeternum seasons typically last several months, and players earn experience points (XP) by participating in various activities, which helps them level up their pass. Each level earns items, including New World coins, materials, and artifacts.

  The pass is divided into a Free Pass and a Premium Pass, each containing 100 base rewards. Premium Pass requires 20,000 Marks of Fortune to unlock.

  Season 10 Pass Rewards Analysis

  While there are many rewards in the pass, most aren't particularly useful. Let's take a look at the more important rewards in both passes.

  Free Pass

  • Hatchet Artifact: Reward for Levels 11-20, the only artifact in both passes. ( Premium Pass rewards do not include an artifact.)

  How To Level Your Pass Fast?

  Farming all 100 tiers of rewards can be quite tedious, so is there a way to unlock them quickly? Of course there is, but you need to efficiently complete Activity Card missions, rather than relying solely on Journey Missions.

  Activity Cards are a mini-game similar to bingo cards, giving players a series of small objectives. Completing these objectives earns Season XP. You can earn additional XP by completing entire cards or rows, and you can complete tasks strategically or use stamps to complete them more efficiently. Completing Activity Cards is the primary way to level up your Season Pass.

  Preparation

  Tier 5 Items

  Many players sell these items at Trading Post. If you're looking to save some coins, you can farm them by participating in Chest Runs and Expeditions at level 60 and above.

  Carry All Weapon Types

  To complete the Kill 10 enemies with a certain weapon type quest.

  Vial Of Suspended Azoth

  You can also obtain Vial of Suspended Azoth at Trading Post, but if you farm monsters normally, you should be able to accumulate quite a few. You'll need them to refresh Activity Card missions.

  Season XP Booster And Housing Trophy

  It boosts your Season Pass experience gain by 100% for two hours, while Housing Trophy provides a smaller, but longer-term boost.

  Efficient Activity Card Tasks

  • Salvage five Tier 5 items
  • Play two songs (can be completed while idle)
  • Kill two named enemies
  • Heal 5,000 damage
  • Kill 10 enemies of a specific mob type
  • Kill 10 enemies with a certain weapon type

  Other Optional Activities:

  • Earn Azoth Salt
  • Craft a gypsum orb (stock up on gypsum in advance and quickly teleport to Gypsum Kiln to craft it)
  • Gather 500 resources
  • Participate in a duel (can be completed in a group)

  You should complete multiple tasks simultaneously whenever possible, prioritizing the easier ones. When you're unable to complete a current task, use Azoth or Vial of Suspended Azoth to refresh your task list. The most recommended location is Amrine Temple, as it's densely populated with low-level monsters and is not far from the player base, allowing you to team up with other players and share kill counts.

  You can also use Wild Stamps to complete a row or diagonal line, earning additional free Wild Stamps. You'll receive one Wild Stamp for the first refresh of the daily event card. However, avoid completing a row of quests when you already have three Wild Stamps, as this would be a waste.

  This is a rough guide to quickly completing Season Pass in Season 10. While it requires some preparation, it's still quite fast. If you're not focused on cosmetics, the Free Pass will suffice. If you like the new look and are interested in the new mounts, unlocking Premium Pass is also a good option.
