  Launch Day Tips

  For players who have Digital Deluxe Edition, as soon as the game unlocks, skip all tutorials and pack opening animations immediately and head straight into Diamond Quest. As one of the first players to complete this mode, you will receive a very significant bonus of stubs.

  Conquest Hidden Rewards

  A day or two after the game's release, online guides will appear showing the locations of hidden rewards on the new Conquest map. These hidden rewards are very valuable. Simply follow the guide, move to the specified hexes, and claim the rewards easily. By clearing all the hidden rewards on the map, you can likely net another 20,000-30,000 stubs and numerous card packs. Open those packs and sell the contents.

  By following these methods, your stub total can quickly grow from 40,000 to around 70,000. This is enough capital to start employing some more efficient strategies. For standard edition players with less starting capital (maybe only 5,000-7,000 stubs), reaching this same goal is achievable by grinding Diamond Quest and Conquest modes more extensively.

  Once you have around 70,000 stubs in starting capital, you can begin to employ some strategic market operations.

  Silver to Gold Exchange

  This method exploits the inflated market values of gold cards early in the game. You use several normal silver cards through the Exchange system to obtain a Gold player pack. When the game first launches, some strong players might be valued as high as 4,000 or even 5,000 stubs.

  While the stubs required for the silvers needed for an exchange might also rise to around 200-250 stubs initially, through smart combinations, the total stubs committed can be significantly lower than the average value of a gold card.

  You can use combinations of 77 and 78 OVR silver cards, while 79 OVR silvers offer lower value for this method. The profit from this method depends on the average value of the gold pack. If the players in the pack have generally low overall ratings, you might lose stubs on the exchange. Also, if too many players use this method, the profit margins will shrink.

  Equipment & Sponsorships Flipping

  Flipping has always been one of the fastest ways to earn stubs. In the early game, the market of MLB 26 is volatile and trends downward overall. You would need to invest significant time monitoring the market, and the returns might be less consistent than simply force on Diamond Quest.

  However, one undervalued area worth watching is equipment and sponsorships. With major changes coming to Road to the Show mode, the demand and turnover for equipment might shift. Profit margins here are often decent, though transactions can be slower.

If they perform exceptionally well in their debut, there's a high probability they will receive a boost, causing their card attributes to jump and their market value to soar. Even without a major upgrade, a strong game can cause their value to increase modestly.

  You need to acquire these pitchers at least 3-5 days before their first scheduled start. The closer it gets to game day, the more bandwagon investors drive the value up, squeezing your profit margin. Remember to avoid diamond cards; focus specifically on pitchers whose overall ratings fall between silver and high-gold.

  If a pitcher has an average game, their value might not fluctuate much. You should sell them immediately to reclaim your stubs for the next batch of starters. If a pitcher performs well but their value doesn't increase, you can choose to hold onto them, hoping for another strong performance next time.

  Based on this, MLB The Show 26 first adds a new chapter, Road to Cooperstown, allowing you to develop your player from high school and strive to reach Hall of Fame for the highest honor.
