  It should be noted that after you unlock the crafting of more tools through other trials, the crafted items can also be sold to merchants in exchange for Dune Awakening Solari. This can also prevent you from storing too many unnecessary low-level materials later.

  Second Trial

  The trial location is in The Deep Struggle cave east of Vermilius Gap. A more specific identification sign is that you will find a huge hammer-shaped rock formation in the center of the area. Go southeast until you find the pinnacle stone circle and the cave with the slanted eye symbol.

  In order to avoid encountering too many sandworms on the way and suffering losses, it is recommended that you craft and drive a Sandbike to go there. After completing the trial, you will learn how to craft Static Compactor, which is used to collect flour sand, one of the raw materials for making silicone blocks.

  Third Trial

  The corresponding location is The Cave of the Lost Pilgrim west of Vermillius Gap, marked by a table-like rock formation supported by two pillars. Do not leave after defeating the enemies in the cave and remember to listen to the message in the trial chamber.

  Fourth Trial

  After solving the riddle, you need to follow the instructions on the small map to travel to Vermillius region to access Hollow Hammer cave. Before that, however, it is recommended that you prioritize obtaining the following items to help you with this trial:

  • The permit for Emperor’s Wings from Imperial Testing Station 2.
  • The contract for Ghavouri at Griffin’s Reach Trade Post in the southern part of Hagga Basin.

  Once you have them, head to and enter the cave, defeat all enemies with the power of spice, and you will receive the following rewards:

  • Third skill slot
  • Unfixed Crysknife schematic
  • You can enter the supercharged presience combat state by consuming spice

  Fifth Trial

  Officially known as The Hidden Test, this trial is located east of the huge canyon in Hagga Rift, marked by a purple eye symbol on a nearby rock. There are two main points to note when completing this trial:

  • Make sure your levitation device is working properly.
  • Avoid quicksand as much as possible (you can try again even if you fail).

  Sixth Trial

  Travel to Devil’s Eye Cavern in the northeast corner of Hagga Rift to start your sixth Trial of Aql. But like the third trial, this place is damaged and you can’t get real loot, you can only hear a message.

  It is worth noting that the completion location of Swordmaster trainer quest is also here, so if you haven’t had time to complete it, don’t forget to complete the quest before leaving.

  

  Seventh Trial

  The location of this trial is deep in Hagga Rift, in a cave called The Red Maw. The trial will not only bring enemies, but also create sandstorms to cause additional harassment to you, so you need to find Stilltents as soon as possible during the exploration process to avoid it. The reward for the trial is Stilltent crafting recipe.

  Eighth Trial

  As the final trial, Footsteps of the Fremen is naturally the most challenging of all Trials of Aql. The trial location is located in the Sietch Ta’lab cave at the intersection of The Eastern Shield Wall, Mysa Tarill, and Jabal Eifrit Al-Gharab.

  After the trial begins, you need to solve three complex puzzles one by one and kill the cultists that appear to get the final reward, Fremen Deathstill recipe. But then you need to meet the following conditions to successfully place Fremen Deathstill:

  • Complete the quest Journey: The Footsteps of the Fremen
  • Equip a Construction Tool
  • 60x Steel Ingot
  • 28x Silicone Block
  • 32x Complex Machinery
