How is your game progress, rogues? Are you trying the second class? Season 9 is not very good for Druid players. Because of the nerfs of Overpower and Cataclysm, Druids can no longer use the same gameplay as season 8. But Druids in Season 9 are not useless. The increase in poison damage in season 9 gives Druid players a new idea.

Fleshrender Druid build mainly relies on the unique item Fleshrender, which has high damage to poisoned enemies and can reduce the cooldown of defensive skills. Therefore, this build has both damage and defense.

Diablo 4 Season 9 Fleshrender Druid Build: Why Is It Powerful And Simple?

Advantages And Disadvantages

The two defensive skills used in Fleshrender Druid build are Petrify and Earthen Bulwark. These two skills are AOE skills. While providing defense for the character, they can also continuously cause damage to the surroundings. At the same time, Fleshrender will reduce the cooldown of these two skills, so you only need to constantly use these two skills in battle.

Therefore, the advantages of this build are simple operation, good at farming Diablo 4 gold, strong survivability, large-scale AOE, etc. And the items required for this build are not unique to Season 9, your Eternal character can also use them.

The disadvantages of this build are also obvious. It relies heavily on Diablo 4 Unique items and requires you to release a lot of skills.

Fleshrender Druid Build Skills

  • Earthen Bulwark (Rank 1): Enhanced Earthen Bulwark and Innate Earthen Bulwark
  • Cyclone Armor (Rank 1): Enhanced Cyclone Armor and Innate Cyclone Armor
  • Debilitating Roar (Rank 1): Enhanced Debilitating Roar and Innate Debilitating Roar
  • Blood Howl (Rank 1): Enhanced Blood Howl and Preserving Blood Howl
  • Petrify (Rank 5): Supreme Petrify and Prime Petrify
  • Hurricane (Rank 1): Enhanced Hurricane and savage Hurricane

Spirit Boons

  • Deer: Wariness
  • Eagle: Swooping Attacks and Avian Warth
  • Wolf: Calamity
  • Snake: Overload

After releasing Petrify, the cooldown of your other skills will be reset, so you can use Petrify after releasing other skills.

When you kill an enemy affected by Petrify, you can reduce its CD time, so in actual combat you can basically release your ultimate skill once within 10 seconds.

Your skill release order is:

  • 1. Hurricane
  • 2. Debilitating Roar
  • 3. Bulwark
  • 4. Petrify

In addition, your Cyclone Armor skill can also trigger Fleshrender, but this skill does not do much damage, so you can ignore it most of the time.

Fleshrender Druid Build Equipment

  • Helm: Vasily’s Prayer (Zan + Xan)
  • Chest Armor: Shroud of False Death (Yul + Qax )
  • Gloves: Fists of Fate
  • Pants: Stormshifter’s Aspect (Grand Sapphire)
  • Boots: Flickerstep
  • Amulet: Aspect of Natural Balance (Grand Diamond)

  • Ring 1: Airidah’s Inexorable Will (Grand Diamond)
  • Ring 2: Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt (Grand Diamond)
  • Weapon: Fleshrender (Grand Ruby)
  • Offhand: Vehement Brawler’s Aspect

Of all the equipment above, Fleshrender is the core of the build. You can get this unique weapon by farming Lord Zir.

Airidah’s Inexorable Will is another unique item that fits this build very well, and it also reduces the cooldown of the ultimate. To get it, you need to farm Varshan.

The mythic unique items required in the above equipment are not irreplaceable. You can use Insatiable Fury as a substitute until you get Shroud of False Death.

Equipment represents your damage limit. If you plan to challenge The Pit, you’d better Masterworking your equipment with Diablo 4 gold and materials.

Recommended end-game stats:

  • 6+ Toxic Claws/ Envenom level
  • 95% + Critical Hit Chance
  • 250% + Damage to Controlled Enemies
  • 5,000+ Will
  • Petrify CD within 10 seconds
  • 1,000+ Armor
  • 75% + Resistance
  • 10,000+ HP
  • 180% + Movement Speed
  • Bulwark and Cyclone Armor CD within 6 seconds

Horadric Spells (Petrify)

Catalyst: Astral Pillar

Infusion: Corrosive Vapor

Arcana:

  • Fractured Core
  • Bloody Charm
  • Shifting Powder

While Horadric Spells of Season 9 are very powerful, they are not the core of this build. The reason for choosing Astral Pillar and Fractured Core is that they can make monsters take more damage, and Bloody Charm allows catalyst skills to execute enemies and speed up farming. Shifting Powder is not important, and you can replace any Arcana you feel is appropriate.

Mercenaries

Mercenaries are also not the core of this build, but they can provide you with some help. If you can choose mercenaries, you can hire them with your gold:

  • Raheir: Raheir can provide armor and resistance.
  • Aldkin: Aldkin has an aura that can reduce enemy damage.
  • Varyana: Varyana can serve as reinforcement.
  • Subo: Subo’s passive skill can help you find Diablo 4 materials and enemies.

The above are the general items needed for this build. The things it needs and the operation are not very complicated. It is a very friendly build for beginners, and it can also be run as a leveling build in the early stage. You only need to make some minor adjustments to get a powerful endgame build.
