How the Build Works?
Most of Minion Warlock build's damage comes from Command Ae'grom, which is granted by Legion Shards rather than the skill tree. By stacking large amounts of attack speed, Ae'grom attacks nearly twice per second. With 2 Ae'groms active, both demons deal their full damage.
At the same time, they continuously generate Lesser Demons, each dealing about 10% of Ae'grom's total damage. You can have up to 10 Lesser Demons on the field at once, and because they attack twice as fast as Ae'grom, this effectively adds the equivalent of an entire extra Ae'grom's worth of damage.
Even if you blow up all your Lesser Demons, they are immediately respawned. It takes only about three seconds after an explosion for every Lesser Demon to return. As a result, you almost never lose their damage output.
Tortured Wretch
Tortured Wretch is vital to the build's survivability. By further reducing skill costs, you can cast it more frequently and keep it on the battlefield longer.
After choosing Punching Bag variant, each Tortured Wretch directly absorbs damage equal to 30% of your maximum health, taking hits before you do. When a Tortured Wretch dies, it grants you Fortify and, more importantly, triggers an explosion that deals nearly 3000% weapon damage. That explosion is itself a significant source of damage.
Testing shows that with a Tortured Wretch on the field, you can simply tank all incoming attacks and remain incredibly hard to kill. This not only boosts your survivability but also removes the need to waste time dodging or repositioning.
Rotation
To maximise the efficiency of the damage engine, you need to obtain free Greater Demons through multiple methods. Your Soul Shard mechanic ensures that every time you cast a Greater Demon skill, you get extra cast speed for your Lesser Demon skills. Additionally, for every 200 demons that die, you gain a free cast of a Greater Demon skill.
Therefore, use Hellfire version of Bombardment to continuously kill demons around you. Use Command Fallen with Mega Lunatic enhancement: it not only detonates a large demon but also spawns four smaller demons. These methods quickly rack up demon deaths, granting you extra free casts of Greater Demon skills. This lets you use Tortured Wretch without consuming your Dominance resource.
Furthermore, each activation of Command Ae'grom kills all Lesser Demons on the field, which translates to an extra ten demon deaths per activation (with a cooldown of about 5s). Combined with the sustained casting of Bombardment and Command Fallen, you never have to worry about maintaining buffs or resources - they replenish themselves automatically.
Although this build may seem like a meme, it can still clear at least Tier 115 in The Pit, so you can easily handle Torment 12 content. If you upgrade your gear to Mythic items, it becomes even stronger. Overall, its power level probably ranks just below Apocalypse Warlock.

With this in mind, we present a guide for rapid leveling in Season 14 to help you reach the endgame and begin farming more efficiently. While specific leveling details may vary by class or build, the strategy provided here is broadly applicable, leveraging the new seasonal mechanics.

Initial preparations
When starting a new Diablo 4 season, you have the option to replay the campaign; however, to accelerate your leveling and farming, it is best to skip it and dive straight into the action.
Before doing so, once you have created your new character, we recommend equipping a pet capable of automatically picking up loot for you; this will significantly boost your combat efficiency.
Choosing the right mercenary
If you own the first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, and have completed its final chapter, your first step should be to select a mercenary that aids in leveling. If you haven't yet completed Vessel of Hatred campaign, you will unlock mercenaries gradually as you progress through it.
Assuming you have already unlocked this mechanic, we recommend prioritizing Subo for Season 14 leveling experience, followed by recruiting Varyana as your second mercenary.
Subo not only provides a movement speed boost but also reveals map information, allowing you to pinpoint resource locations early in the season and continuously acquire new items to upgrade your character's gear.
As for Varyana, her value lies primarily in damage output. She wields dual axes and a two-handed hammer to deal rapid damage to enemies, while also applying crowd control effects such as stun, crowd control and more.
Furthermore, her passive skills grant you a stacking movement speed bonus during combat, with a stack added for every ten enemies defeated.
Generally, speed is the top priority when leveling. Since your overall damage output won't match endgame levels, killing more enemies quickly is the key to gaining XP.

Since these builds usually require you to unlock skill points through leveling and farm specific gear for crafting, you won't have a fully optimized leveling build right from the start; instead, you'll refine it as you progress.

To this end, prioritize Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides. Nightmare Dungeons generally offer lower difficulty, while Helltides feature short spawn intervals and long durations; both provide a steady stream of enemies.
More importantly, both activities are closely linked to Pandemonium Ruptures, with ruptures frequently spawning within them.
Notably, closing enough Pandemonium Ruptures in Season 14 Nightmare Dungeons, or defeating the returning Realmwalker, can unlock a new mini-dungeon called Deathtoll Chamber.

Let us take a look at the strongest builds for Season 14 based on their performance in PTR 3.1. However, this does not necessarily reflect their actual standing in Season 14, because the official team may still make further adjustments.

Warlock
Meta Builds:

- Apocalypse Warlock
The worst-performing class in Season 14 is Warlock. The strongest Warlock setup at the moment is Fallen Lunatics Warlock. In addition, Apocalypse build remains stable. If you like Fallen Lunatics Warlock, the new Mythic items in Season 14 can enhance this build and make it still playable.
The changes in Season 14 focus mainly on numerical adjustments, primarily buffing those options with lower usage rates. Most builds have not undergone major changes. Warlock faces defensive issues in Season 14 and relies heavily on shapeshifting for survival. Moreover, Warlock overall feels clunky to play.
Necromancer

Necromancer has suffered heavy losses in both defense and damage, reaching only around tier 122 on The Pit leaderboard. Golem Necromancer holds a slight statistical advantage, but Blood Wave remains very popular as well.
You should note that if you plan to play a Blood Wave build in Diablo 4 Season 14, you had better avoid using Aspect of Glynn's Anvil, as it has been significantly nerfed. As a result, your character will become very fragile in Season 14. Blood Wave Necromancer has performed well over multiple seasons, so interested players can still choose it.
Spiritborn

Spiritborn sits at roughly the 120–125 tier level in PTR 3.1. Paladin has also received nerfs in Season 14. Clash Paladin has been greatly weakened because it can no longer stack large amounts of Resolve through Aspect of Glynn's Anvil. In PTR 3.1, it reaches around tier 126 in The Pit, only slightly better than Spiritborn.
Recommended builds include Holy Light Aura Paladin, also known as Auradin. This is the most relaxed playstyle: you simply need to move around.
Shield of Retribution Paladin is a Thorns-based build. It is very powerful during the leveling phase, but in endgame content, the shield moves too slowly, making the build feel a bit sluggish. If you value clear speed, you can try a Charge Paladin, because both builds rely on Thorns damage, so swapping gear is not demanding.
Sorcerer
Meta Builds:

- Meteor Sorcerer
Sorcerer's Ball Lightning and all lightning-based builds have been heavily nerfed. This is because the former large bonuses now only apply to Crackling Energy. In PTR 3.1, the more popular choice is Firewall Sorcerer, a DoT build. After the nerfs, Sorcerer has settled at a normal level, currently reaching around tier 136 at the limit.
Additionally, due to Mythic Unique 3.0 in Season 14, some Sorcerer playstyles have received enhancements. Notably, Rhyme provides up to 65% damage reduction, significantly improving survivability. Furthermore, by freezing enemies and stacking health-based damage reductions, Sorcerer's survivability is excellent.

Barbarian

Barbarian reaches around tier 140 in PTR 3.1. Although Melted Heart of Selig has been significantly nerfed, many players still use it. Even with reduced survivability, Melted Heart of Selig can now roll Vulnerable Damage and Critical Damage, greatly boosting output. However, for casual players, achieving an unkillable survival experience in Season 14 has become very difficult, as it demands a large number of Diablo 4 items.
One of the biggest enhancements for Barbarian is The Grandfather. In Season 14, it provides a decent critical strike chance bonus, while other traditional critical strike items have been nerfed.
Rogue
Meta Builds:
- Death Trap Rogue

- Twisting Blades Rogue
Rogue tops the rankings with a tier 150 completion, but it should be noted that the current top build exploits a bug related to Death Trap. However, even without using the bug, Rogue remains very powerful.

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Mythic items have undergone a significant rework. According to the official patch notes, the development team fixed an issue where Barbarians could gain infinite Fury and become invincible when building around Melted Heart of Selig in a specific way. In Season 14, achieving true invincibility with Melted Heart of Selig is no longer possible. Although PTR patch notes, the practical effect is a significant nerf.
Heir of Perdition
Heir of Perdition has also undergone adjustments. The older version provided an 80x damage multiplier, whereas the new version reduces that to 15x. However, the new version retains the critical strike chance affix. This means that if you keep an older Heir of Perdition or Ring of Starless Skies, your actual damage output might be higher, because in Season 14 most builds struggle to reach 100% critical strike chance.
Endurant Faith
The second nerf concerns Endurant Faith. Previously, it offered substantial damage reduction whenever you took damage exceeding 30% of your maximum life. Unkillable Barbarians often kept their life pool very low, causing nearly every attack to trigger this damage reduction and spread the damage over the following four seconds. Now, this effect has been cut in half, so Barbarians in Diablo 4 Season 14 will clearly feel increased pressure on their survivability.
Aspect of Limitless Rage
Barbarians, as the most dominant class in previous seasons - especially Whirlwind build - have received a more direct blow. In Season 14, this build will hardly be viable. The core reason is that the values on Aspect of Limitless Rage have been drastically lowered:
The old version granted 1% to 1.5% increased damage per point of Fury generated. When placed on a two-handed weapon (doubling the effect), that reached 3% per point. This bonus lasted four seconds. The new version, however, grants up to 0.22% increased damage per point of Fury generated, capping at 300 or 350 Fury. The duration remains four seconds. With a two-handed weapon, the actual value is about 0.4% per point. A drop from 3% to 0.4% is undoubtedly a steep nerf.
Aspect of Glynn's Anvil
Aspect of Glynn's Anvil has also been adjusted in Season 14. It now increases a Barbarian's maximum Resolve stacks by 2, with each stack providing 4% damage reduction, up to a maximum of 40%. This means that no matter how many Resolve stacks you accumulate, the damage reduction cap is 40%. For comparison, other defensive aspects can directly offer 40% damage reduction without requiring additional investment. Thus, Aspect of Glynn's Anvil is no longer competitive in Season 14.
Global Gear Adjustments
Diablo 4 Season 14 will allow players to turn all of their gear pieces into Mythic quality. This means every affix can roll perfectly. For example, Ugly Bastard Helm or Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty can retain their original damage multipliers while also gaining additional affixes such as maximum Fury or Fury generation. To some extent, this can compensate for Barbarian's losses from nerfs.
It is worth noting that since Heir of Perdition has lost its critical strike chance affix while older versions still retain it, legacy gear from the previous season may end up being more powerful than equivalent gear from the new season. Players are advised not to salvage any strong legacy items, especially those with critical strike affixes.
New Mythic items no longer have fixed affixes. For instance, the new Melted Heart of Selig does not always come with critical strike damage. Acquiring both critical strike chance and the correct conversion effects will require significant investment, which will widen the gap between hardcore and casual players. The development team has also hinted at further nerfs to come.

Using the nerfed Melted Heart of Selig, it is still possible to clear The Pit at Tier 100, but doing so is quite difficult. The character takes noticeably more damage, and survivability drops significantly - especially against high-burst monsters. For average players, Tier 100 may be the limit.
By increasing damage output and sacrificing some defense, one might push the ceiling slightly higher. However, overall, this build is no longer easy.
Is Unkillable Barbarian Still Playable?
On Torment 12 difficulty, this build remains viable. With extensive gear adjustments and Masterworking, it can work. However, in higher tiers of The Pit, forcing this build is not recommended; returning to a conventional Barbarian build is far more effective instead.
The core gameplay of the new season revolves around crafting. Familiarizing yourself with the gear crafting system in advance will help you better adapt to the changes and close the gap with top-tier players.
Even though Melted Heart of Selig and its related builds have been comprehensively nerfed, Barbarian as a whole remains strong. The solution in Landslide Druid build is to introduce The Basilisk, a unique staff item. It not only provides 115% Critical Strike Chance but also comes with 2x independent multiplier damage.
More importantly, when combined with Mlor of the Old Mountain set bonus, every time an Earth Skill hits an enemy, Petrify is automatically triggered, ensuring the full Critical Strike Chance effect of The Basilisk is maintained throughout the entire build.
This way, players only need to stack approximately 40% Critical Strike Chance on their gear, and then combine it with Might of the Ursine to completely solve the problem of insufficient Critical Strike Chance.

Key Gear Combinations
This Landslide Druid build revolves around several high-intensity independent multipliers.
Might of the Ursine Unique Ring will provide you with a 17% independent damage increase, and Grizzly Rage has a built-in 2x multiplier, so the two multiplied together can create an almost super high increase.

Recommended Paragon Board nodes for players include Survival Instincts, Dominate, and Spirit. Next, we can select Earth and Sky and Earthen Devastation, then Constricting Tendrils and Outmatch, and finally Headhunter and Heightened Malice.
If the pressure to survive is too great, you can abandon Heightened Malice and switch to Werebear form of a resilient node.
On the defensive front, due to the monsters' continuous petrification from Mlor of the Old Mountain set and the freeze effect from Signet of Pelghain, Crowd Control Duration attribute becomes particularly important. Diablo 4 Season 14 PTR 3.1 will end on June 9th, allowing you to preview the changes in Season 14. Among all the adjustments, the most significant one is undoubtedly Mythic Unique 3.0 system. Imagine if every piece of your gear were a Mythic item - while that is not exactly the reality, this system will undoubtedly alter the power of character builds and even the overall progression curve.
Although the official announcement lacks sufficient detail, we can examine how Mythic Unique 3.0 actually works based on PTR's performance.

Mythic Unique 3.0 Affixes
In Season 14, all unique items in the game now have a chance to drop randomly as Mythic versions. A Mythic unique item has two defining characteristics:
- All affixes are max-rolled.
- The unique effect is boosted by 30% and also reaches its cap.
This means every attribute on the item will be set to the maximum possible value for that item type. For example, an amulet's Willpower stat, which normally varies within a range, will instead be fixed at 180 in its Mythic form. The unique effect of a Mythic item is further enhanced by 30% and also capped.
Simply put, the core feature of a Mythic unique is that all its affixes are maximized. The visual appearance of new Mythic items has also been upgraded: they feature a distinct dynamic purple glow, different from the old Mythic items.
When you drop a new Mythic item on the ground, it still displays the text label of a unique item, but it emits a purple light pillar and shows a purple symbol on the left side, making it easy to identify at a glance.
Legacy Mythic Items
Legacy Mythic items function exactly the same as the new Mythic versions, except they do not have a corresponding normal unique base. These legacy Mythic items have also been heavily rebalanced.
Legacy Mythic items now randomly generate affixes, but as Mythic quality, all affixes are max-rolled. Many legacy Mythic items have had some fixed affixes removed, with those effects integrated into the unique power instead.
All legacy Mythic items still retain one affix that is fixed and cannot be changed. However, the values of these fixed affixes are no longer higher than those on normal gear. In Season 14, the maximum attack speed on a legendary or unique ring is 10%, and Ring of Starless Skies also has 10% attack speed - it no longer has an extra advantage.
Legacy Mythic items are now fully unified with the new Mythic versions. The only difference is that they lack a normal unique counterpart.

Rerolling Affixes
In Season 13, affixes on Mythic and unique items could not be changed at all; they remained as they dropped. Season 14 will be completely different: you will be able to reroll affixes on Mythic and unique items inside Horadric Cube.
Once Season 14 begins, all Mythic and unique items (including old Mythic items) will support both Chaotic Reroll and Focused Reroll to randomly re-roll a specific affix. The process works exactly like rerolling legendary or rare gear. However, note that you cannot use Occultist's Enchantment system to precisely control which affix you get, as you would with legendary gear. In other words, you can only perform random rerolls inside Horadric Cube, which introduces a degree of unpredictability.
How to Get Mythic Items in Season 14?
During normal gameplay, when an ancestral unique item drops, it has a chance to be directly transformed into its Mythic version. It is speculated that the drop rate for Mythic versions of normal unique items will be higher than that of legacy Mythic items, since the latter have no normal counterpart and should theoretically be rarer. That said, the development team may adjust this before the official launch of Season 14.
Horadric Cube Upgrades
Beyond natural drops, Horadric Cube in Season 14 also includes a recipe that upgrades a unique item into a random Mythic item of the same category. This upgrade consumes 5 Pandemonium Fragments, a season-exclusive material.
One-handed weapons, two-handed weapons, or off-hands will only yield a Mythic item from the same weapon category.
Rings and Amulets share a random pool, meaning a unique ring could become a Mythic Amulet.
Armor results are even more random: the outcome will be any one Mythic piece drawn from the five armor slots - helmet, chest piece, legs, gloves, and boots.
Resplendent Spark
Since all Diablo 4 Mythic items now belong to a single major category, the crafting system has changed accordingly.
The new season recipe allows you to use 7 Pandemonium Fragments to craft one Resplendent Spark. Currently, both Upgrade to Mythic and Make Resplendent Spark are season-exclusive recipes, and it is uncertain whether they will remain after Season 14 ends.
Jeweler
At Jeweler, you can take 2 Resplendent Sparks and a number of runes to craft a random Mythic item. These items are no longer fixed specific pieces; instead, they are random Mythic items within a given category.
This may make runes a scarce resource in Season 14. Because ancestral unique items drop very frequently, Resplendent Sparks become much easier to obtain, but the number of runes that drop may not support large-scale crafting.
Blacksmith
At Blacksmith, you can also take 2 Resplendent Sparks and 50 million gold to obtain a random Iconic Mythic item (old Mythic item). If you are specifically hunting for these old Mythic items for a certain build, this recipe can save you a lot of effort.
