Before the official launch of Diablo 4 Season 15, most players anticipated that Warlock would deliver an impressive performance, and reality has certainly borne that out!
However, the experience of playing a Warlock can vary significantly depending on the build you choose. Some players might prioritize raw damage output, while others might prefer a playstyle that balances combat efficiency with ease and comfort.
If the latter appeals to you, we are introducing a Warlock build that lets you realize the dream of fully automated, one-button farming in Season 15!

Strengths and core mechanics
This Warlock build excels thanks to its extremely low barrier to entry and top-tier screen-clearing efficiency. With just a single button press, you can automatically trigger a full suite of skills to gather and instantly obliterate enemies, allowing you to easily amass more Diablo 4 gold in the early game.
Achieving this requires effective synergy between your skills and gear, enabling high-frequency, automated spellcasting that functions like an AFK mode.
To start, Hellhound's Sabatons boots are essential; when paired with Command Abodian skill, they automatically trigger all non-Arcfiend Hellfire skills, specifically Blazing Scream, Bombardment, and Umbral Chains.
Next, In-Geom weapon reduces cooldowns by 10 seconds upon killing elite packs and provides cooldown reduction for movement skills. Combining these effects allows for the continuous casting of Command Abodian.
Stacking Splinter of the Black Soulstone provides a massive base damage boost of up to 600%, while Wendigo Brand ring grants additional damage and attack speed bonuses based on your kill count over the last 60 seconds.
Brutal Aspect automatically converts attack speed increases into a 200% damage bonus once your attack speed hits 100%. Finally, Flesh of Abbadon Set transforms Infernal Hunger into Demonic Strength, providing damage buffs and increased maximum health.
Skill selection
In this Diablo 4 Warlock build, Command Abodian serves as the core skill; it functions by commanding the demon Abodian in various ways to trigger different combat effects.
For this build, the optimal strategy involves mounting Abodian to gain a movement speed bonus; simultaneously, you can tether enemies and drag them behind you, dealing 25% damage every 0.5 seconds.
Bombardment, triggered automatically through gear synergies, will cast frequently around you, prioritizing high damage output and the accumulation of more Bombardment Demons.
Blazing Scream serves as your core mobile damage skill; its damage scales based on the number of enemies hit and your movement speed. Selecting Skull Splitter variant allows it to adapt to the rapid refresh rates of automatic casting.
Umbral Chains acts as a potent crowd-control and damage skill, capable of launching enemies into the air and delivering additional lashes to targets positioned behind you.
Adding Metamorphosis skill unlocks a mechanic where damage increases with higher health, while also granting Unstoppable status and stacking damage effects. Automatic casting triggers Destruction Demon's stacking damage and burning effects.
Regarding personal defense, Life On Kill stat ensures that every demon summoned while mounted on Abodian grants you a shield upon expiring.
Finally, Dark Prison provides continuous Fortify and Weaken effects, restoring your health while slowing enemies, thereby establishing a reliable defensive and sustain mechanism.

Which gear should be added next?
For the gear setup, we have already identified Hellhound's Sabatons as the boots of choice; you should reroll the affixes for movement speed and movement skill cooldown reduction to further lower Command Abodian cooldown from 4.64 seconds to 3.9 seconds.
For your off-hand gear, prioritize Critical Strike Chance, including bonuses gained via Tempering, and ideally include Cooldown Reduction to avoid relying solely on weapon effects.
Notably, In-Geom sword, a suitable weapon for this Diablo 4 Warlock build, is obtained as a drop from Prime Evil Bosses in Waking Nightmare.
While this weapon reduces skill cooldowns upon defeating elite packs, there will still be a brief cooldown period between encounters with subsequent elite groups.
To this end, we recommend swapping out Resource Cost Reduction stats for Cooldown Reduction. Apply this same change to Moloch's Beating Flame amulet to further shorten the cooldown of Command Abodian.
This ensures the cooldown remains extremely short, allowing for near-instant casting, even without triggering In-Geom effect; pairing this with Runewords will increase activation frequency even further.
Since this build no longer utilizes El'druin Sword of Justice or Infernal Homunculus, Blazing Scream will no longer apply the vulnerable status. Instead, you can utilize specific Soul Splinters to gain Unstoppable status while moving and inflict Vulnerable on enemies.
Equip Hands of Apotheosis in the glove slot to boost the effects of your demon form by 100%; this means higher maximum health translates directly into higher damage output.
Paragon board layout
For this Diablo 4 Warlock build's Paragon board configuration, select Headhunter glyph first to significantly boost your Willpower stat.
Next, move to Dynamism Paragon board and pair it with Death Aura to gain elemental resistance bonuses. This also causes your maximum Dominance to skyrocket, resulting in increased damage. The key to Demonic Spicules board is pairing it with Demonologist glyph.
On Fathomless Paragon board, unlocking Wrath node allows you to generate Fury upon landing critical hits, thereby significantly boosting your critical hit damage multiplier. Swapping this for Ichor Carapace or Hellforge is also a viable option.
If you wish to push to higher tiers of The Pit with this build, choose Greater Hacks for the final board, then unlock War Plans Heart of Stone node to activate demon form and speed through the content.
That covers everything in this guide. If this Warlock build interests you, log in and give it a try right now! Its one-button automated nature offers an incredibly relaxed and effortless gameplay experience.
