  The core target is located in Mosshide Fen area in eastern Wetlands, between two bodies of water. The main monsters include the following:

  • Mosshide Gnoll: Level 20-21, purely melee attack, no special skills.
  • Mosshide Mongrel: Levels 21-22, also a melee monster.
  • Mosshide Mistweaver: Levels 22-23, the only type of monster in this group that requires extra attention. It casts a frost spell that reduces Spirit, causing a slowing effect, but not dealing high damage.

  The advantage of these Gnolls lies in their extremely simple skill set. Most Humanoid NPCs are difficult to farm efficiently at level 20 because they possess reflective damage, curses, or high-burst spells. For example, monsters in the Durnholde Keep area of ​​Arathi Highlands inflict a curse that reflects 50-70 damage, which is almost fatal to level 20 characters.

  In contrast, Mosshide Gnolls only have a Spirit-reducing debuff, which has a negligible impact on the farming efficiency of physical DPS classes. If using Paladin, this effect can be directly removed with Cleanse.

  Monster Farming Route and Key Points

  It's recommended to farm monsters along the outer edge of Mosshide Fen, rather than venturing into the center. The monster density in the center is too high, potentially leading to accidental deaths with level 20 gear.

  Specific Operational Suggestions:

  • Prioritize killing monsters one by one: Focus on lone monsters, taking advantage of their lack of ranged attacks to deal as much damage as possible before they get close.
  • Be wary of Mistweavers: If you aggro two or more Mistweavers simultaneously, prioritize controlling or quickly killing one to avoid taking stacking frost spell damage.
  • Utilize terrain to block line of sight: The swamp area has several hills and puddles that can be used to keep ranged casters out of sight, forcing them to approach before engaging in melee combat.
  • Prepare basic consumables: Recovery options are limited at level 20, so it's recommended to carry enough food and at least one stack of basic healing potions for emergencies.

  Regarding gear, farming in Mosshide Fen area doesn't require specifically pursuing dungeon-level endgame gear. A gear setup primarily consisting of uncommon quality items, interspersed with a few rare pieces—such as early drops from Deadmines or Wailing Caverns - is sufficient to handle these monsters.

  Expected Gold and Cloth Drops

  

  In WoW Classic Plus, each Mosshide Gnoll drops approximately 10 to 70 Copper, averaging around 40 Copper. With a level 20 character's kill rate, a complete farming cycle (approximately 5 to 8 monsters) can be completed in a few minutes.

  With good luck, a single cycle yields approximately 2 to 3 Silver. While the individual drop rate isn't high, considering the rapid monster respawn rate and the compact farming route, the cumulative profit is still considerable in the early stages.

  Regarding cloth, in addition to Silk Cloth, Wool Cloth and Linen Cloth will also be obtained. Wool Cloth has a stable demand on the auction house, especially for Tailoring profession, which requires a significant amount of cloth at skill levels 75 to 100.
