Greetings, Raiders! Do you remember ARC Raiders roadmap for January-April 2026 that was previously announced? As we officially enter February 2026, more players are shifting their focus from the Headwinds update to The Shrouded Sky.
Shrouded Sky content update is a significant milestone in the studio's 2026 development roadmap, as it's not just a simple update, but more like a mini-expansion. It introduces brand new map conditions, brings new ARC threats and a Raider Deck loot system, and the second expedition window will also be reactivated during this phase. This update is planned as the second major update of this year's Escalation season, a continuation of January's Headwinds, and will gradually transform ARC Raiders into an ever-evolving extraction shooter.
Here, we'll discuss everything we currently know about ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky update to help you prepare in advance. Let's take a look!

Shrouded Sky Release Date Prediction
Unfortunately, the release date for Shrouded Sky has not yet been officially confirmed, but since it's a February update, we think it shouldn't be too far away. However, we have received some information that seems to hint at the timing of the next update.
As you know, ARC Raiders releases updates almost every week, including some patch fixes and new content, usually on Tuesdays. For example, the previous Headwinds event was also launched on a Tuesday.
In addition, the in-game store usually refreshes every Tuesday. So, after Tuesday refresh, the upper right corner of the store displays 7 days until the next refresh. However, after the last Tuesday update, it showed 14 days, which is February 10th. This longer refresh cycle seems more consistent with a major update than a routine weekly reset. So we boldly speculate that we might see the next major update around that time.
Of course, we're not saying that Shrouded Sky event will definitely be released on February 10th. However, considering that we're expecting new cosmetics, skins, etc., these items are likely to be available in the store during the next event.
Shrouded Sky Updates
The focus of ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky content update is on creating atmosphere and optimizing gameplay. While they haven't introduced entirely new maps, the new map conditions and ARC enemies still make familiar areas unpredictable and dangerous. Let's take a look at the changes this update brings!
New Map Conditions
A major highlight of this update is the introduction of brand new map environments. The name Shrouded Sky, and the images revealed in the roadmap strongly suggest that the map state is related to the sky or wind. Unlike existing fog or storms, this state is expected to directly affect high-altitude visibility, Raider movement and traversal patterns, and the scope of exploration and extraction activities. Therefore, the absolute advantage of long-range combat will no longer exist, and players will need to change their positioning, reconnaissance, and engagement tactics.
At the same time, different environmental conditions will also change the behavior of ARC enemies, making each game not only different from the last, but unique, even if players have mastered the relevant maps. Now, the risk-reward cycle becomes more intense, and players will inevitably have to choose between valuable loot and safe shelter.
New ARC Enemies
Shrouded Sky update brings more than just visual or climatic changes. A new type of airborne ARC robot has also entered the game and begun patrolling the skies above the map, designed to complement the new map environment.
This ARC threat is agile and will attack players on rooftops. This means that the vertical advantage previously used by some snipers to eliminate enemies will be difficult to utilize. The sky now represents a constant and deadly danger for all Raiders. Because of this change, gameplay will focus more on mobility and quick reactions, and more importantly, this will only become more dangerous in low-visibility environments.
While the appearance of new threats increases the risk of looting high-value areas, the arrival of new enemies usually also brings more specific loot drops, and this might even be a new source for obtaining ARC Raiders blueprints!
New Raider Deck Loot System
In addition to environmental hazards, the game's loot system has also been significantly improved. Shrouded Sky update introduces the innovative Raider Deck to players. Players can unlock all rewards using Cred currency instead of traditional XP. In this way, players can better control their progress and freely choose which rewards to prioritize on each page.
Map Updates
As we mentioned before, Shrouded Sky doesn't introduce entirely new maps; instead, it primarily features targeted updates to existing maps to match the current event theme.
While the complete update details haven't been revealed yet, we speculate that they might change the layout and routes of the current maps to provide more new ways to explore. Although there are no new maps, this doesn't prevent them from adding new points of interest and threat zones to expand the existing map content.
Second Expedition Window
Another important highlight is that Expedition window feature will be opening soon. While the new expedition officially starts on March 1st, players need to register starting February 25th and prepare in advance. As is well known, expeditions offer high-risk missions, usually requiring players to cope with harsh environmental conditions, but this is also a great opportunity for all players to obtain extra benefits and rewards.
More importantly, the expedition reset narrows the gap between veteran and new players, and the game ecosystem becomes more balanced, allowing the game to continue developing in a more objective direction.
In short, ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky update is not far away, and a series of new content will be coming our way. Are you ready to face the brand-new foggy environment and airborne enemies? Finally, we must say that the above content is based on our current understanding and may not be entirely accurate, but we will immediately update with new information after the official update!
