ARC Raiders Shared Watch Event Guide: How to Farm 1,050 Merits Fast & Unlock All Rewards?

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Feb 12, 2026 Views: 1261

ARC Raiders recently released its 1.15.0 update and launched a brand new two-week event, Shared Watch. This is the studio's first time introducing a completely PvE-centric event to this extraction shooter. Of course, this doesn't mean PvP is completely disabled during the event; it just means you won't earn any merits by participating in PvP, which is the key currency for unlocking event-exclusive rewards.

Below, we'll detail this PvE event, the reward list, and the best way to unlock all these rewards. Let's take a look!

ARC Raiders Shared Watch Event Guide: How to Farm 1,050 Merits Fast & Unlock All Rewards?

Shared Watch Event Explanation

Shared Watch runs from February 10th to Tuesday, February 24th, for two weeks. The event starts as soon as you enter the ground zone, and participation is mandatory! The mechanism is similar to a 24/7 map event, but Shared Watch applies to all maps, making it mandatory.

During the event, you can fight ARC enemies at any time to earn merits, which are exclusive tokens used to advance the event and earn rewards. You earn 1 merit for every 100 XP you gain by dealing damage to or killing an ARC. Therefore, 100 XP equals 1 merit.

However, it's important to note that this is a PvE event, so participating in PvP combat will not earn you merits. This means that if you want to earn event rewards, you must fight PvE enemies roaming each map.

Event Rewards

During Shared Watch event, you can unlock a total of 21 rewards, one for every 50 merits. You will need at least 1,050 merits to obtain all rewards. However, please note that all rewards must be unlocked in the order they are earned; you cannot specify which rewards to obtain.

Here is the full list of rewards:

How to earn merits?

As we mentioned before, to unlock all rewards, you need 1,050 merits, which, based on the XP ratio, means you need to earn at least 105,000 XP. The stronger ARC you challenge, the more XP you'll gain. Defeating ARC bosses like Bastion, Queen, or Matriarch, in particular, grants a massive amount of experience instantly. The greater the risk, the greater the reward!

Best Maps

If you want to cultivate merits quickly, I highly recommend the following maps: Buried City, Spaceport, or Blue Gate. Enemies on Dam Battlegrounds map are a bit too scattered, while Stella Montis map has fewer ARCs.

Of course, if possible, try to participate during Electromagnetic Storms or Night Raids, as this gives you a chance to encounter more ARC enemies. From regular Wasps to Rocketeers, and of course, larger ARCs, all enemies count. So, if you primarily focus on taking down the low-flying small aircraft, you can complete the mission quickly.

Equipment Selection

For equipment, it's recommended to bring Renegade, or better yet, Osprey. These are ideal weapons for mid-to-long-range combat, especially good for headshotting players from high ground. This allows you to quickly eliminate large numbers of flying ARCs; just aim at the propellers, and they'll be shot down quickly.

If you want to take down larger ARCs, you can bring a weapon like the Jupiter. It boasts excellent armor penetration, a 5-round magazine, and a 2x headshot damage multiplier, allowing you to directly attack the core of Bastion and Bombardier, and of course, eliminate the Rocketeer. This might be one of the ways to quickly gain experience points.

However, using Medium Ammo weapons is also a good option, or you can bring Anvil and a large number of Heavy Ammo, which will deal damage to almost all ARCs.

Which ARCs to target?

To gain XP as quickly as possible, large, high-threat ARCs like Queen or Matriarch remain our primary targets, followed by Hidden Bunker, where many Bastions and Bombardiers roam and respawn around Bunker. These "bullet sponges" offer the highest return on investment because large ARCs provide more experience points, which directly translate into merit points, unlocking rewards faster.

Furthermore, you can also gain XP by assisting in kills, making teaming up with other players to fight these large bots an effective strategy.

Here are the XP rewards for each ARC enemy killed, as tested during Shared Watch Event, for your reference:

  • Bastion: 1000 XP
  • Shredder: 300 XP
  • Wasps: 430 XP
  • Snitch: 570 XP
  • Sniper Turrets: 340 XP
  • Fireball: 160 XP
  • Pops: 110 XP
  • Normal ARC: 80 XP

These figures show that smaller robots like Ticks and Pops are not very efficient for rapid leveling, and we do not recommend focusing on farming them.

However, if you really intend to focus on flying ARC attacks, I strongly suggest attacking the main body, as this will give you more XP than simply shooting down the wings (at least in most cases). To maximize damage, you'll need to use high-explosive-damage weapons, such as Hullcracker. Of course, you still need to be very accurate and avoid missing. Generally, aiming at the bottom rear is the best position for a one-hit kill.

In short, the two-week event period isn't long, so hurry and log into ARC Raiders Shared Watch and use these tips to earn 1,050 merits before the event ends to unlock all the rewards! Good luck!
