In ARC Raiders, almost all loot has value. If you're unsure of its immediate use, bring it all home and check later to see if it's useful for a specific crafting recipe or workshop upgrade. Useless items can be recycled into basic crafting materials.

However, if you bring home too much, you'll quickly run into an inventory crisis. You need to know what you truly need and which items aren't worth taking up your backpack and stash space.

Stash Management

You should keep ARC Raiders items in your stash that you'll actually use in raids. This includes your favorite guns, attachments, ammo, shields, augmentations, medical items, and utility items, as well as resources for upgrading and repairing these items.

If you never use certain items, such as unused gun attachments or grenades, you can safely sell or recycle them to free up space or exchange them for materials and coins. Most common items can be easily traded again from merchants or crafted yourself, so there's no need to hoard them excessively. However, be aware that some high-level items require finding a blueprint in the game before crafting.

Item Handling Tips

Recycling items at your base yields more resources than salvaging them during raids, and selling complete items yields more coins than dismantling them into parts and then selling them.

Clicking Track Resources in the workbench will display a small eye icon for that item in your inventory and in-game. This helps quickly identify important items and avoids accidentally selling or dismantling them.

You can use the refinery to craft useful components from basic materials, such as Electrical Components, Mechanical Components, and their advanced versions. This reduces the need to hoard finished components.

You can also trade many useful components from Celeste using Seeds, so you don't need to hoard them excessively and take up space.

Basic Material Reserves

Basic materials are consumed quickly, so it's recommended to maintain a basic quantity of the following:

  • Metal Parts
  • Rubber Parts
  • Plastic Parts
  • Fabric
  • Chemicals
  • Seeds

Generally, a few hundred of each type are sufficient, but Metal Parts are consumed rapidly (due to weapon and ammo reforging upon death). Maxing out your Scrappy the Rooster will help ensure a stable supply of these materials, especially Seeds.

Arc Circuitry is also worth stockpiling, and it can be used to craft Medium Shields and Batteries. Once your Refiner reaches level 2, you can refine Arc Alloy, or obtain it from probes, ARC husks, and high-tier ARCs during raids.

Workshop Upgrade Required Items

Since Track Resources cannot track the items required for upgrades that haven't reached the required level, advance planning is necessary. Many upgrade items can be traded for Seeds from Celeste, and other items can be crafted in Refiner using basic materials (no blueprint required), so prioritizing Refiner upgrades makes upgrading other crafting tables easier.

Excluding tradable and craftable items, the items you really need to look for in raids are as follows:

ARC Drops

  • Tick Pod
  • Hornet Driver
  • Surveyor Vault
  • Wasp Driver
  • Rocketeer Driver
  • Bastion Cell
  • Sentinel Firing Core
  • Pop Trigger
  • Snitch Scanner
  • Leaper Pulse Unit
  • Fireball Burner
  • Bombardier Cell
  • ARC Alloy
  • ARC Powercell
  • ARC Circuitry

Each type is typically dropped by a specific ARC robot, and you need to kill them and keep their drops:

Industry

  • Rusted Tools
  • Rusted Gear
  • Industrial Battery

Recommended to search in the large underground area in the center of Bluegate.

Mechanical

  • Motor

Motor Most will appear while traveling by bus or cars, so the best locations are near the elevators in the northern part of Dam Battlegrounds complex, the parking lot in Buried City, and near the tunnels in Bluegate.

Medical

  • Rusted Shut Medical Kit
  • Cracked Bioscanner
  • Laboratory Reagents

Recommended to search in the hospital or research buildings in Buried City.

Technological

  • Fried Motherboard
  • Damaged Heat Sink

Recommended location is Pilgrim's Peak, northeast of Bluegate, where there are many servers to loot.

Residential

  • Power Cable
  • Toaster
  • Dog Collar
  • Cat Bed
  • Very Comfortable Pillow

Available in Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, and Pattern in the northern and northwestern parts of Dam Battlegrounds. Look for the house, or the large village northwest of Bluegate.

Nature

  • Lemons
  • Apricots
  • Prickly Pears
  • Olives
  • Mushrooms

Fruits spawn throughout the map. Mushrooms grow on tree trunks, Prickly Pears on cacti, and apricots and lemons on small fruit trees.

The best time to collect them is during Lush Blooms event, which periodically appears on the map. During this event, all fruit trees and collectible plants spawn more frequently. Look for small baskets on the map, and they usually contain some fruit and seeds.

Quest Items

Quest items are few in number and easy to obtain. Most can be obtained through trading, refining, or common ARC drops. Some require searching in raids.

  • Water Pump: Commonly found in the mechanical and industrial areas.
  • Fertilizer: Can be found in Swamp area of Dam Battleground.

High-Resale-Value Items

Currently, the game does not have items like those found in other extraction shooters. While extremely rare items like shooters are plentiful, there are still some high value items worth noting:

  • Lance's Mixtape: One of the rarest items, sells for 10,000 coins.
  • Breathtaking Snow Globe: Although a common item, it sells for 7,000 coins.
  • Ruber Duck: Can be used as a throwable item, sells for 1,000 coins.

These are the items you should really be looking for in raiders. Some items obtainable through trading or refining can be stockpiled, but if you're facing an inventory crisis, prioritize clearing them out.
