ARC Raiders Destroy Fireballs Trial Speedrun: Best Farming Route & High Score Tips | Ranked Leaderboard Push!

Dear Raiders, have you completed this week's trials? Actually, the five trials this week weren't too difficult, and it was easy to get three stars. However, achieving a higher score and making a name for yourself on the leaderboard wasn't so easy.
Here, we want to share a speedrun guide for Destroy Fireballs Trial. Some might wonder, this trial isn't difficult; you just need to keep shooting fireballs until you reach 4000 points, right? That's true, but if you think about it carefully, there are many tips that can help you save a lot of time for other things. So, let's talk about some useful tips to help you complete this trial more easily.

Run in Friendly Lobby
First and foremost, the most obvious point is that if you want to improve your trial score, it's best to run it in Friendly Lobby.
If you just want to get 4000 points to get the weekly top reward, then it doesn't matter. You can play PVP matches on double map difficulty as usual, just make sure you frequently go to areas with lots of fireballs. This should give you over 700 points per match. So, you only need to complete six matches to get 4000 points and then be eliminated. But if you want to aim for the highest score, choosing PVE lobby is a better option.
To quickly enter Friendly Lobby in ARC Raiders, you can join Solo vs Squads mode on Stella Montis map with a free set of gear, then run around the lobby, rally point, or med station, firing a few shots randomly. Eventually, you'll encounter a squad that knocks you down, and then on the results screen of one of the matches, click "Round Feedback," select that you don't like PVP experience, and you'll likely quickly enter PVE lobby in subsequent matches.
Best Farming Location
Now, regarding destroying Fireballs maps, the best place is undoubtedly to log in to Stella Montis during Night Raids. This map is relatively small, and there are a lot of fireballs that will continuously spawn after you clear other areas.
However, if you particularly dislike Stella Montis, or if the lobby is extremely crowded during Trial, with other players fiercely competing for fireballs, and you only need 4000 points, then you can easily obtain those points on Buried City or Dam Battlegrounds.
On Buried City map, you can explore the residential area on the south side of the map, or if you spawn near the hospital or shopping mall, you can wander around there a few times.
On Dam Battlegrounds, there are fireballs under Research & Administration building, in the underground tunnel leading to Water Treatment, and at Water Treatment itself.
However, don't forget to start Trial during Night Raid if possible; this will make your Trial progress much faster!
Route Planning
Depending on your spawn point, you need to sprint to where the first group of fireballs is located, and then plan a route to the fireball spawn hotspots.
Next, make sure you kill all the mobs, even some small flying vehicles, to ensure that the fireballs spawn immediately after the countdown ends (approximately 5 minutes).
Here are some excellent fireball spawn locations:
First, the two sides of Assembly. If you're looting, these fireballs can be annoying, but in Trials, you'll need to see as many as possible. So, the area near Assembly's server room, and the long, dark corridor on the other side of Assembly, are good spots.
The medical area in ARC Raiders is also a good location, but it's very competitive, with players looting there for the first 10-15 minutes of each round. If you don't want to take that much risk, you can go later, where you're guaranteed to find at least two fireballs.
Robotic Sandbox is also great. Since most raiders don't stay there for long, it won't hinder fireball spawning.
It's worth mentioning that while Seed Vault isn't ideal for farming fireballs, it will take you to Archives, where there might be up to three fireballs. You can then immediately take the zipline to Business Center, where there are also some fireballs. Go through the security gates into the lobby; fireballs might appear on the ground floor and side balconies. But be careful, other players might be ambushing here!
Basically, based on your spawn point, you can plan your route like this: Assembly is like a gap in the middle. Once you feel you've farmed enough fireballs, you can cross this gap, run through the medical area, and then return to the right side of the map, where you'll find Robotic Sandbox, Archives, Lobby, Atrium, and Business Center. These areas are great places to farm fireballs, and if you're lucky enough, you might even find some ARC Raiders blueprints!
Loadout
Finally, here are some equipment suggestions for your reference.
Free Loadout
If you don't want to take risks and just want to get 4000 points, you can complete this trial using the free equipment. Even if you get a light-ammo SMG like Stitcher, just clear out the surrounding enemies, let the fireballs get close to you, and then shoot at the white plastic core it opens.
Anyway, detonating fireballs will give you all the trial points, but you'll need to stop and interact with each fireball, which will be slow. Therefore, I recommend using custom gear and adding Adrenaline Shot so you can move quickly across the map without stopping to recover stamina.
Custom Gear
Of course, if you want to score over 4000 points, custom gear is essential. The combination of Bettina and Hullcracker is particularly effective at destroying fireballs. Why?
This is because you rarely find a full fireball waiting for you to shoot. Usually, you're surrounded by smaller enemies, and Bettina's advantage is that it doesn't require frequent reloading, making it more agile. Of course, accuracy is also important; if you shoot the main body of an enemy, it's an instant kill; but if you hit the outer edge, it might take several bullets, so Bettina, the king of mid-to-long-range combat, is definitely the best choice in this situation.
So, why choose Hullcracker? Because it only takes two bullets to quickly destroy Shredders, allowing you to enter specific areas of the map without having to dodge or run around them as before.
Don't forget to bring a few ziplines. Because if you need to go down from Business Center to the lobby, you can place a zipline down, making it easier to move around the map and saving time.
In short, hopefully these tips will help you easily destroy fireballs and get high scores in this week's trials. Perhaps you'll also find some other useful tips that you can use even outside of the trials! Hurry up and jump into the game before the trials end and aim for the highest score!
