ARC Raiders Bird City Loot Breakdown | Insane Coin Gains Most Players Are Ignoring

Category: ARC Raiders Posted: Jan 30, 2026 Views: 1749

ARC Raiders Patch 1.13 adds a new secondary objective to Buried City: Bird City. It not only allows you to quickly accumulate a large amount of in-game currency but also introduces adorable rubber duck collectibles.

Although Bird City is only open twice a day for a limited time, if you master the techniques, you can earn a significant amount of coins each time on this map, helping you complete your expedition objectives faster.

How to Participate in Bird City?

Bird City modifiers currently only appear on Buried City map. Their main feature is the abundance of lootable bird nests found in the chimneys of all the residential buildings on the map. Each bird nest contains random loot and is the primary source of resources for this event.

However, Bird City is not open 24/7, and this may be inconvenient for some players. For working professionals (especially in Europe), its opening hours are almost completely missed. Hopefully, the developers can adjust the rotation schedule:

  • 3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. PT.
  • 11:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. PT.
  • 7:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. PT.

How to Loot Bird City?

On this map, carefully examine the chimneys of residential buildings. Look for birds circling above; this usually indicates a nest. You can climb up and interact with it to loot.

Some nests are difficult to interact with due to the angle. In this case, you need to adjust your view around the chimney until the prompt appears. The looting process takes several seconds, and the birds will be startled away, making it visible to other players from a distance. In PvP matches, be wary of ambushes from other players, as this will also attract ARC enemies.

Loot Types

Loot inside the nest is completely random and includes:

  • Trinkets
  • Fruit
  • Recyclable items or crafting materials
  • Rubber Ducks
  • Complex Gun Parts (rarely found)

Initially, you might find common items like cloth and plastic, but don't be discouraged. Continued looting will greatly increase your chances of obtaining high-value trinkets. One player filled their loot box with approximately 200,000 ARC Raiders coins in just 15 minutes, demonstrating extremely high efficiency.

Rubber Duck Variants

In addition to the classic yellow Rubber Duck, this event introduces six new Rubber Duck variants, each with different rarities and values:

  • Ruber Duck (Common): 1,000 Coins
  • Tropical Duck (Uncommon): 1,000 Coins
  • Gentle Duck (Uncommon): 1,000 Coins
  • Alien Duck (Uncommon): 1,000 Coins
  • Doodly Duck (Rare): 3,000 Coins
  • Flashy Duck (Rare): 3,000 Coins
  • Familiar Duck (Epic): 7,000 Coins

All Rubber Ducks can be stacked up to 15 times. This means that an inventory slot can hold up to 105,000 coins. All collected ducks will be displayed in the player's Raider Den, with rarer ducks usually displayed in more prominent positions.

The spawn locations of these rubber ducks are not fixed, but fortunately, Buried City map isn't very large, and finding them in areas with dense chimneys isn't difficult. So, with a few tries, you should be able to find them all.

Efficient Scavenging Tips

Grappling Hook

It is highly recommended to bring a grappling hook. Although the map has added some ziplines connecting buildings, the grappling hook allows you to reach rooftops faster and more flexibly, and access high chimneys that aren't connected by default ziplines, significantly improving scavenging efficiency and coverage.

Bird Traps And Rocketeers

The number of Bird Traps on this event map is far greater than usual. When a player passes by, the birds in their cages will take flight, startling nearby ARCs, especially Rocketeers.

Rocketeers, who are relatively docile in normal matches, will frequently enter an alert state during this event due to the birdcage alarms, actively attacking nearby players. It's recommended to be prepared to take cover in nearby buildings to avoid rocket soldiers' bombardment.

If you want to focus on looting, consider bringing Wolfpacks to deal with Rocketeers and reduce interference.

Best Looting Areas

Although chimneys are scattered across the map, resource distribution is uneven. It's recommended to loot the densely populated southern and southeastern areas. These areas typically have 4-6 chimneys on the rooftops, resulting in a high number of nests.

While there are also some chimneys in the central areas of the map, the density is lower. The northern areas have fewer chimneys and are not recommended as a priority; you can ignore them if time is tight.

Hatch Key

Bird City isn't a major map modifier like Night Raid, so bringing a Hatch Key is highly recommended. This allows you to stay in the game longer and loot as many nests as possible.

Even if you're not interested in collecting nests or rubber ducks, Bird City can still give you an advantage. Because many players' attention will be drawn to looting bird nests on rooftops, competition for classic resource points such as containers on the ground and inside buildings will be relatively reduced. Therefore, you can take advantage of Bird City opening period to loot the classic top-tier loot points in Buried City.

These are all the tips for Bird City. Hopefully, you can successfully find all the rubber ducks, whether you're a beginner or a max-level player expanding your collection.
