The Best ARC Raiders Batteries Farming Methods to Help You Prepare for The Second Expedition!

Arc Raiders is a popular multiplayer survival shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Earth where survival depends on resource gathering. However, players shouldn't focus solely on looting; they must also evade ARC enemy attacks and avoid trusting their fellow survivors, as they may betray them.
According to the latest official announcement, registration for the newest expedition will begin on February 25th. Participation is voluntary, and the official expedition window will open on March 1st. This expedition offers generous rewards.

To help players maximize their chances of obtaining rewards, it's essential to prepare certain resources before the second expedition, with batteries being the most indispensable.
Why need batteries?
Firstly, batteries are a fundamental crafting material in Arc Raiders. Essential equipment requiring electricity in the game will need them. The batteries in ARC are different from what we're used to seeing. They're not small blocks, but rather encased in a yellow plastic sheet with many exposed wires.
Secondly, Arc Raiders Batteries are needed in many missions. For example, in After Rain Comes, Raiders need 5 Wires and 2 Batteries to repair solar panels. If you haven't collected batteries beforehand and can't find two batteries in this mission, After Rain Comes cannot be completed, preventing you from progressing to the next mission.
Currently, players collect batteries primarily to prepare for the Second Expedition. During the expedition, players will definitely need Arc Raiders Batteries. Because batteries are a rare resource in the game, players will face even fiercer resource competition if they don't have a sufficient stockpile early on.
How to find batteries?
Although batteries are basic crafting materials, their drop rate is consistently low, making them highly valuable on the market. Therefore, how to quickly find batteries has become a major concern for players.
Scavenging
First, after understanding that batteries are crafting materials belonging to the electronics and technology category, we can try searching in areas with a high concentration of electronic and technological equipment.
The following are locations with a higher probability of finding batteries; players can try searching in these places.
- Dam Battleground: Due to the large number of electronic devices and relatively few ARC enemies, this location is an excellent place to search for batteries. Head south to the Electrical Substation, remembering to search the small buildings at both ends; you have a high chance of finding batteries here.
- Buried City: Buried City is also a good place to find batteries. Players can prioritize searching in Space Travel and Research. Prioritize searching for electronic products in buildings, and then pay close attention to the corridors.
- Spaceport: There are also many places to find batteries in Spaceport. Players can first go through the central area, and in the southeast corner of the central area, behind the Departure Building and the Launch Towers, find Control Tower A6. You can start searching for batteries here. If game conditions allow, players can also go northeast of the Launch Towers to find Fuel Control, where there is also a high chance of finding batteries.
- The Blue Gate: There are several places to find batteries in The Blue Gate. It's highly recommended that players start their search at Pilgrim's Peak and Reinforced Reception, as these are the areas where batteries spawn most frequently.
Secondly, besides these locations, players should also pay attention to the following container components and hidden items:
- Recording Panel
- Oscilloscope
- Computer
- Terminal
- Metal Crate
- Control Console
Most of these containers will be located within the marked Tech and Electronics Points of Interest (POIs) on the map. Players can search these marked locations first, and then search for electronic and technological devices in other areas.
Recycling
In addition to the methods mentioned above, another way to obtain batteries more consistently is through recycling. This not only turns trash into treasure but also helps you quickly organize your inventory, freeing up space for more loot. The following items can currently be recycled for batteries:
- Broken Flashlight
- Broken Taser
- Cracked Bioscanner
- Geiger Counter
- Industrial Battery
- Jolt Mine
- Portable TV
- Power Bank
- Showstopper
According to official information, many items can be recycled into batteries through recycling or salvaging. However, it's important to note that the number of batteries collected varies depending on the recycling method. Generally, salvaging yields fewer batteries than recycling. Players should choose the most appropriate method based on their in-game situation.
Trading with Celeste
Besides scavenging and recycling, one last way to find batteries is by trading with Celeste to obtain Arc Raiders Batteries.
Celeste is a leader of the Raiders and the only merchant who sells batteries. Players need to trade a common item called Assorted Seeds with Celeste. Five Assorted Seeds can be exchanged for one battery, and a maximum of 10 batteries can be obtained from Celeste per day. Compared to the previous two methods, this seems to be the simplest and fastest way to obtain batteries.
By referring to the methods above, you should be able to obtain a certain number of batteries regardless of your circumstances. With enough batteries, you'll have the confidence to face and complete the second expedition.
Hopefully, this article will help you obtain a sufficient number of batteries more easily. Good luck in your battery search!
