AION 2 Trick or Treat Event: Pumpkin Coins, Missions and Shop Guide

Published: Oct 29, 2026
AION 2's Trick or Treat Halloween event gives players a limited-time opportunity to collect Pumpkin Coins and exchange them for useful items. With the event approaching its end, it is worth checking your attendance progress, finishing any remaining weekly missions, and deciding which rewards are most useful for your character.
The event is scheduled to end before maintenance on November 3, 2026, for North American servers and November 4 for European servers. Players can earn coins through a 14-day attendance track and weekly event missions, then spend them at designated Pumpkin Coin Traders.
Halloween rewards are only one part of character progression. While event items can help with specific activities, players still need to manage their regular resources and equipment upgrades. Keeping track of your AION 2 Kina alongside limited-time rewards can help you plan your next upgrades without spending event currency on items you do not need. Pumpkin Coins and Kinah serve different purposes, so it is worth considering both when planning your character's progression.
AION 2 Halloween Event Dates and Reward Overview
| Event detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Event | Trick or Treat |
| North American deadline | Before maintenance on November 3, 2026 |
| European deadline | Before maintenance on November 4, 2026 |
| Event currency | Halloween Pumpkin Coin (Event) |
| Attendance track | Up to 620 coins |
| Weekly event missions | Up to 235 coins per weekly reset |
| Maximum potential | p to 1,325 coins across the attendance track and three weekly mission sets |
| Attendance menu | In-game Menu → Attendance |
| Event mission menu | Season Mission → Event |
The maximum of 1,325 coins assumes that a player collects the full attendance reward track and completes all three available weekly mission sets. It is a potential maximum, not a guaranteed amount. Your actual total depends on your attendance progress, completed objectives, and rewards already claimed.
For the official schedule and attendance details, refer to the Trick or Treat event announcement on PURPLE Lounge. Check the in-game event menus for your character's current progress.
How to Earn Pumpkin Coins From Attendance
Attendance is one of the most straightforward ways to earn Halloween Pumpkin Coins. The 14-day reward track provides 35 coins on most days, while days 7 and 14 each offer 100 coins.
| Attendance days | Coins per day | Total coins |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1–6 | 35 | 210 |
| Day 7 | 100 | 100 |
| Days 8–13 | 35 | 210 |
| Day 14 | 100 | 100 |
| Total | — | 620 |
To check your progress, open the in-game menu and select Attendance. Review the Trick or Treat track and claim any available rewards.
Do not assume that unclaimed rewards have already been added to your balance. If you have missed attendance days, check the track directly to see what remains available rather than assuming the game will automatically compensate for every missed day.
All Weekly Halloween Event Missions
Players can earn another 235 Pumpkin Coins by completing all ten weekly event objectives. Open Season Mission → Event to view the list and check which tasks remain incomplete.
| Weekly mission | Pumpkin Coins |
|---|---|
| Log in three times | 30 |
| Hunt 10 monsters in the Abyss | 25 |
| Clear a Transcendence Dungeon once | 25 |
| Clear an Expedition on Conquest once | 25 |
| Clear the Ascension Trial once | 25 |
| Clear any Nightmare stage once | 25 |
| Obtain one piece of Unique gear | 20 |
| Use five scrolls | 20 |
| Participate in a Dimensional Invasion once | 20 |
| Participate in the Shugo Festival once | 20 |
| Total per weekly reset | 235 |
Some objectives can be completed during normal play, while others require access to specific activities. Check your mission list before spending time on a task you may already have finished.
The 235-coin total applies to one complete weekly set. Since the event spans three weekly mission resets, players who finish all available sets can earn up to 705 coins from missions alone.
Where to Find the Pumpkin Coin Trader
The Halloween event shop is available through designated traders in faction regions.
-
Elyos: Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village in Verteron.
-
Asmodians: Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly in Altgard.
Visit the location that is most convenient for your character. Before purchasing anything, review the listed cost, level requirement, and limit. Some limits apply per server, while others apply per character, which can affect how you plan purchases across multiple characters.
Halloween Shop: Which Rewards Are Worth Considering?
The best purchase depends on your character's needs. Some players may want the event chest, while others may get more immediate value from dungeon tickets or progression-related items.
| Item | Pumpkin Coin cost | Listed purchase limit | Level requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Special Halloween Chest | 250 | 1 per server | 10+ |
| Odyle Energy | 10 | 4 per server per week | 45+ |
| Lower Abyss Rift Stone | 30 | 2 per server per week | 45+ |
| Skin Chest (10 times) | 15 | 5 per server per week | 10+ |
| Resurrection Spiritstone | 2 | 10 per server per week | 10+ |
| Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon | 3 | 7 per server per week | 10+ |
| Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket | 7 | 3 per server per week | 10+ |
| Shugo Festival Reward Key | 7 | 3 per server per week | 10+ |
| Life Crystal | 2 | 20 per character per week | 10+ |
| Halloween Candy | 2 | 10 per character per week | 10+ |
| Halloween Cookie | 2 | 10 per character per week | 10+ |
| Superior Power Shard | 1 | No limit listed | 10+ |
Special Halloween Chest
The Special Halloween Chest costs 250 Pumpkin Coins and is limited to one purchase per server. It is available to characters level 10 and above.
Third-party event guides list its contents as the Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate appearance and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals. If you want the Halloween-themed appearance or the included pet-growth resource, consider setting aside 250 coins before buying smaller items. Check the in-game description before purchasing to confirm the current contents.
Odyle Energy and Other Progression Items
Odyle Energy costs 10 Pumpkin Coins per purchase in the Halloween shop, with a listed limit of four per server per week for characters level 45 and above.
There is a separate Odyle Energy rule in the October patch notes for the Wind Breeze Merchants' Special shop during the server-transfer period. That change removes a server-wide weekly cap of 16 and raises the weekly per-character cap from four to 20. These are separate shop rules, so do not assume the change automatically replaces the Halloween Pumpkin Coin shop's own price and limit.
For players focused on character progression, compare event purchases with your immediate needs. Dungeon tickets may be useful if you plan to run those activities, while inexpensive consumables may offer little value if you will not use them. Kinah management remains a separate part of preparing for equipment upgrades and other regular progression costs.
Check Item Expiration Dates
Not every Halloween-related item follows the same expiration schedule. Published item information lists Halloween Candy, Halloween Cookie, Candy Key Fragments, and Red, Yellow, and Blue Candy Keys for deletion around the event's end. Several other items, including the Special Halloween Chest, bound Odyle Energy, Resurrection Spiritstones, and certain dungeon tickets, have been listed with a later deletion date.
These dates may differ by item, so check the description in your inventory rather than assuming everything disappears at once. Before maintenance, review your remaining Pumpkin Coins, claim available attendance and mission rewards, and use time-sensitive consumables where appropriate.
