How to Spend Different In-Game Currencies Wisely in Aion 2

In Aion 2, the difference in progress efficiency may depend not only on the speed of resource acquisition but also on how in-game currency is allocated.

The game currently has four exchange shops: Shugo Festival Shop, Nightmare Trade Shop, Abyss Trade Shop (PvP Trade Shop), and Season Shop, each offering different rewards and progress resources.

Each shop has different currencies and exchange priorities. Even the same material can have vastly different exchange rates in different shops. Therefore, rationally planning exchange priorities is crucial for effectively improving character strength.

Shugo Festival Shop

Aion 2 Guide to All 4 Shops: Best Items to Exchange for Faster Progression

Shugo Festival unlocks around level 10. Earn Centuryroot tokens through mini-games and then exchange them for Aion 2 items in the Festival Shop.

This shop should prioritize functional needs: first, exchange for enough Daevanion Crystals to upgrade item levels to 1400 to unlock key content such as Vakron Sky Island. Once you reach the required threshold, shift your focus to Stigma Shards. These are the top priority growth resources in the shop.

Each Stigma Shard costs 300 Centuryroot tokens in the Shugo Festival Shop, with a limit of 35 per character. For classes that rely on specific Stigma skills for damage output or survival, the practical benefits of leveling your main Stigma to level 15 or even 20 far outweigh the resources spread across multiple low-value items.

Next, consider exchanging for artwork. Collecting different artworks in Shugo Festival Shop unlocks collection achievements and titles. Collecting 10 artworks grants the Click title, which provides a 1% PvE damage tolerance bonus - a widely applicable damage reduction buff.

Regarding Wings, the attack and defense bonuses provided by Violet Butterfly Wings are a considerable boost for most classes and can be prioritized after artwork. Skins and pets should be placed last, as their attribute contributions are relatively limited.

Besides using shop tokens to exchange for growth materials, Aion 2 Kina is also an indispensable resource for character development. It can be used in various stages such as equipment enhancement and crafting, working alongside shop materials to boost character combat power.

Nightmare Trade Shop

Nightmare Trade Shop uses Phantasmal Fragments, obtained by defeating Nightmare bosses.

Similar to Shugo Festival, Daevanion Crystals and Stigma Shards remain the top priorities. Stigma Shards are priced at 1,500 Phantasmal Fragments each in Nightmare Shop, with a limit of 35.

Once you've nearly completed exchanging for growth materials, Colossus: Zikel's Apparition can be your next target, costing approximately 14,000 fragments.

Aion 2 Colossus: Zikel's Apparition

Placing it in Pantheon grants 45 points each in Justice, Time, and Destruction, which are related to perfect chance, combat speed, and attack, respectively, helping to improve damage output and combat power.

In addition, while Nightmare Wings offer multiple bonuses including damage, attack, critical hit rate, flight power, and boss attack, they require 160,000 shards, typically taking several weeks to accumulate. Therefore, if you already have a similarly performing alternative, it's recommended to postpone your exchange.

Abyss Trade Shop / PvP Trade Shop

Aion 2 Stigma Shard

Abyss/PvP shops in Aion 2 use Abyss Points (AP). Stigma Shards are the primary exchange target.

Unlike the previous two shops, Abyss Shop uses tiered pricing for Stigma Shards, with tiers of 50 shards priced at 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, and 25,000 AP respectively. Each character can exchange for a maximum of 200 shards.

It's recommended to prioritize buying the lower tiers; once the price per shard reaches 25,000 AP, consider your needs accordingly.

For players focused on PvP in Aion 2, purchasing 150 Oath Stones allows you to exchange them for Fierce Battle Amulet Scroll, which upgrades the amulet's level, penetration, and PvP damage bonus.

Once the amulet reaches blue rank, consider pausing, as the upgrade cost rapidly increases from 25,000 AP to 50,000, 75,000, and even 100,000 AP, gradually reducing its cost-effectiveness.

Potential Stone: Limited to 2 Abyss Stones per week, each costing 25,000 AP, which enhances the PvP damage stats of equipment. However, due to the low success rate and significant resource loss upon failure, it's not recommended to prioritize investing in this unless you're focused on PvP and have ample AP.

Season Shop

Season Shop uses Oath Coins, primarily obtained through seasonal quests, Abyss, and Arena events, yielding approximately 30,000–40,000 Oath Stones per week.

The most valuable exchange in this shop is Talisra Wings, priced at 210,000 Oath coins, which provides 60 attack, 35 accuracy, 4% cooldown reduction, and bonuses to flight and defense.

However, before acquiring wings, consider exchanging for Mysterious Crystals - these crystals complete the 5th crystal needed for a gold card ascension, unlocking a specific perk and helping you reach the 2200 or 2500 item level threshold to unlock Transcendence.

If your card progress is already sufficient, skip the crystals and focus on building wings; if you're stuck at a critical threshold, exchanging for crystals is worthwhile.

Skins provide attack bonuses and are suitable as a secondary objective after acquiring wings or while building wings. It's not recommended to exchange for Philosopher Stones in advance - they add an extra attribute to equipment, but this attribute disappears after the equipment is upgraded, so they are only suitable for weapons that have already been crafted and reached the maximum item level.

In general, Aion 2's shop redemption strategy should revolve around the character's current growth stage: prioritize unlocking key content and enhancing Stigma, then allocate remaining resources based on PvE, PvP, and gear progress. Avoid blindly pursuing high-priced rewards, ensuring every unit of currency translates into a more tangible boost to combat power.
