Provided the current album theme aligns appropriately, Monopoly Go occasionally launches temporary crossover events. For instance, with the current Posh Pets Album in full swing, Sanrio series, famous for its adorable animal characters, creates a perfect thematic synergy!

On March 10 and March 15, 2026, Monopoly Go hosted Hello Kitty Partners and Hello Kitty Prize Drop events, respectively. Now, just as the latter is drawing to a close on March 17, a brand-new event, Hello Kitty Treasures, is set to go live!

So, how long will this digging event last, and what rewards can you earn if you give it your all? We're here to tell you everything you need to know.

Hello Kitty Treasures release date

This event kicks off on March 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM PST, and runs until 1:00 PM on March 22. This gives you at least five full days to participate, a window that conveniently includes the better part of a weekend!

How does the event work?

While the ultimate grand prizes may vary depending on the specific event theme, the core mechanics of every treasure digging event remain largely the same.

As a special solo event within the game, treasure digging requires you to use special pickaxe tokens to excavate squares within a grid. By unearthing hidden treasures, you complete levels and earn rewards.

The event consists of multiple levels; for each level, the game provides a general outline indicating where the required treasures might be located within the grid.

Each time you consume a token to click on a square: if you uncover a piece of a treasure, the square will reveal a treasure fragment; if you don't find anything, the square will simply remain empty.

Successfully unearthing all the designated treasures within the current level allows you to advance to the next.

As you progress through the levels, the rewards become increasingly generous; the final grand prize for this event includes a massive haul of dice, a Wild Sticker, and a brand-new board token!

How to earn pickaxe tokens?

As the essential currency required to advance in Hello Kitty Treasures, these tokens are awarded as prizes during most of Monopoly Go's standard daily activities. All you have to do is participate in as many of these activities as possible!

Additionally, to help you get started right away, the game provides you with 4 free tokens to kick things off. Once the event concludes, any remaining tokens you have left over will be automatically converted into dice at a 1-to-3 ratio.

Daily events

Every day, Monopoly Go launches new banner events or tournaments. During Hello Kitty Treasures event, the milestone rewards for these daily activities will include pickaxe tokens.

To earn these rewards, you must spend dice rolls to advance across the game board, earning points by playing mini-games or landing on specific tiles to unlock further milestones.

The daily events currently confirmed to offer pickaxe tokens this week are the tournament on March 17th and Trinket Trove event. Be sure to participate before they end!

Daily Quick Wins tasks

Every morning, the game refreshes with three randomized Quick Wins tasks. Completing each task grants you three small rewards. During Hello Kitty Treasures event, one of these three rewards will be pickaxe tokens.

The full list of tasks and rewards for March 17th is as follows:

• Pass Go 2 times: 15 Free Dice Rolls, 3 Peg-E Tokens, 4 Pickaxe Tokens
• Complete 2 Shut Downs: Cash, 5 Peg-E Tokens, 4 Pickaxe Tokens
• Land on Community Chest 1 time: 20 Free Dice Rolls, 7 Peg-E Tokens, 4 Pickaxe Tokens

If you successfully complete all Quick Wins tasks every day throughout the week, you will also unlock an extra grand prize on Sunday. Since Hello Kitty Treasures happens to conclude this coming Sunday, we hope you didn't miss out on the tasks from March 16th!

Claiming store gifts

Every eight hours, the in-game Monopoly Go store refreshes with a gift; occasionally, pickaxe tokens may appear as one of these gifts.

However, please note that these gifts do not stack. This means that even if you wait 24 hours between visits, you will only be able to claim one gift rather than three. To avoid missing out, it is best to claim your gifts as soon as they become available.

Playing the event itself

Pickaxe tokens are also included among the rewards for certain stages within Hello Kitty Treasures event itself; simply successfully clear a stage to unlock them.

With less than a month remaining until the conclusion of Posh Pets album, Monopoly Go is hosting Golden Blitz events with increasing frequency. The previous round just wrapped up on the 12th, and a new one is already about to begin!

To maximize your album completion rewards, we highly recommend that you do not miss a single Golden Blitz event; you should make the most of every available trading opportunity while the event is active.

Below, we provide details regarding the third Golden Blitz event of March 2026, along with our predictions for its most likely start dates.

When will this Golden Blitz begin?

Typically, Golden Blitz events only occur with high frequency, every one or two days, when the current album is nearing its end. Prior to that final stretch, the interval between events tends to be approximately 4 to 6 days.

To date, two Golden Blitz events related to Posh Pets album have already taken place. The dates and specific stickers featured were as follows:

• March 5-6, 2026: Sunglasses and Tiara
• March 11-12, 2026: Princess Priss and Metal Mood

Based on the 6-day interval observed between these events, we predict that the next Golden Blitz will probably take place on March 17-18. Of course, there remains a possibility that the schedule could be adjusted to accommodate other in-game events.

How to Participate in Golden Blitz?

Golden Blitz is the only event in Monopoly Go that allows you to trade gold stickers with other players. The standard daily trading feature (limited to five trades per day) typically permits the exchange of only regular stickers of any star rarity.

To participate in a Golden Blitz, you must first ensure that you possess duplicate gold stickers, or high-star regular stickers, of sufficient value, and then find other players willing to trade with you.

It is worth noting that the specific gold stickers available for trade during a Golden Blitz are pre-determined.

Prior to the event, Monopoly Go community votes on which stickers they need most; ultimately, the two gold stickers receiving the highest number of votes are selected to be featured in the event!

The winning stickers for this round are Monopoly Go Talk Show (Set 21) and Tortoise Trot (Set 22). This means that if you happen to be missing these specific stickers, you now have the opportunity to acquire them for free through trading!

Other stickers included in the voting pool were:

• Set 22 - Tea Tease
• Set 23 - Golden Yarn
• Set 24 - Carpet Craze

If these three stickers happen to be the ones you are missing, don't lose heart. On one hand, the vote counts for the five stickers were very close, so perhaps the other three will emerge victorious next time around.

On the other hand, if you have duplicate copies of Talk Show or Tortoise Trot, you can use them to trade for the specific stickers you truly desire!

Once you have identified the stickers you wish to trade for, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. Golden Blitz event lasts for only 24 hours, and during this period, you are limited to a maximum of 5 trades.

However, if you have generous friends who are willing to simply gift you two gold stickers without expecting anything in return, such gifts do not count toward your trade limit.

As for the trading process itself, it is quite straightforward: simply select the card you wish to exchange from your Sticker Album, send it to a friend, and wait for them to accept the trade.

One important caveat: if you are trading with a stranger you met on another platform, be sure to enable the safe trading option, or have the other party initiate the trade first, to avoid falling victim to scams.

How to prepare for Golden Blitz?

You don't necessarily need to already possess the specific gold stickers designated for Golden Blitz. However, if you intend to acquire them through trading, you must ensure you have a supply of rare stickers that are enticing enough to attract other players.

The good news is that, gold cards included, the primary source for all stickers is sticker packs, meaning you don't need to expend extra effort searching for them through other channels. The bad news? The drop rate for any high-tier card is notoriously low!

Therefore, the only way to obtain these stickers is to acquire and open as many sticker packs as possible, fortunately, many gameplay activities within Monopoly Go offer them as rewards.

Daily events

These types of Monopoly Go events, which include tournaments and banner events, typically refresh every one or two days. The way to earn rewards is by advancing across the game board to accumulate sufficient points, thereby unlocking various milestone rewards.

However, even the highest-tier sticker packs awarded by these events are typically only of pink rarity; consequently, the odds of pulling a gold sticker from them are not particularly high.

Other events

Other events include large-scale collaborative challenges, such as racers events, or special limited-time activities like Peg-E and treasure digging.

These events offer blue or purple sticker packs, and sometimes the ultimate rewards even include Wild Stickers, which allow you to claim any card of your choice, or Swap Packs. So, be sure to actively complete them!

Use stars to open vaults

After acquiring many duplicate stickers through various gameplay activities, the corresponding star values for these duplicates are tallied within your Sticker Rewards menu.

Generally speaking, while rare stickers yield more stars, you should prioritize using them to trade with other players during daily trades or Trade Fest events.

As for your duplicate low-tier cards, you can hold onto them to accumulate stars. Once you've gathered a sufficient amount, you can redeem them for Vaults, which, when opened, reward you with Dice and sticker packs!

To maximize your star returns, we recommend always saving up to unlock the highest-tier vault available. Opening it gives you a chance to receive two Purple Packs, one Blue Pack, or even a Wild Sticker!

Extra tips

No matter how you acquire new sticker packs, we suggest holding onto them until a Sticker Boom event begins. At that point, you should open them all at once, as the number of stickers provided by every pack increases by 50% during this event!

However, each Sticker Boom event lasts for only a brief time, typically just 10 to 20 minutes. To ensure you don't miss out, make sure to stay logged into the game or keep an eye on the official Monopoly Go event schedule.
