WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Level 58 Boost Guide | Best Classes to Dominate Pre-Patch And Beyond

A lot of important information was released before WoW TBC pre-patch went live, with the most attention-grabbing being the level 58 character boost service.
Previously, this service was only included in Outland Epic Pack, bundled with mounts, cosmetics, and other items. However, the official team broke their promise and sold the service separately. More importantly, this service can be used on newly created Blood Elf and Draenei characters. While many players are dissatisfied with the official team's breach of promise, how to use this service is still worth discussing.

Character Boost Service
A boost service also existed in TBC Classic in 2021, but each account could only use it once. However, the official announcement for WoW TBC Classic Anniversary didn't explicitly state this, so we can assume it's unlimited.
Whether you can create multiple boosts or not, it's certain that every player will trade for the boost service at least once. So, which class is most worth using this precious boost opportunity?
Druid
From the broadest and most practical perspective, the best choice is undoubtedly Druid. Druids received significant buffs in TBC, with all four talent specializations performing exceptionally well.
In raids, Feral Druids can serve as off-tanks when needed, while Balance Druids are always welcome in raids due to their Innervate, especially for Mega teams. Restoration Druids also perform well in raids thanks to Innervate and Rebirth, and are considered among the best PvP healers in the arena.
However, this isn't the only reason to choose a Druid. Beyond PvP and PvE, Druids possess several highly useful abilities. For example, you can utilize Flight Form for rapid resource gathering, which is especially useful for gathering professionals as you don't need to constantly mount and dismount.
You can also leverage your tanking specialization and stealth abilities to acquire substantial amounts of gold by farming old dungeons, disenchanting gear, and selling loot.
Shaman
Next are recommendations for solo players. This doesn't refer to players who never participate in raids, but rather those who may not have a fixed guild or partner but still wish to play through PUGs. The most recommended class for these players is Shaman.
While the change in Bloodlust to affect the entire raid instead of just the party in this Classic version has somewhat impacted the value of Shamans, they remain one of the most in-demand classes in every raid, mainly due to the significant buff from their Totem. Currently, totem effects only apply to the party, so every PUG will want at least one Shaman in each party.
If you prefer support, then Restoration Shaman is widely considered the strongest healer for most of the expansion. In terms of DPS, both Elemental and Enhancement Shamans can deal considerable damage, although they may not always top the DPS charts. As a DPS Shaman, your primary responsibility is to ensure your totems are always within range of your party members.
In Normal and Heroic dungeons, you can choose to heal or DPS. While Shamans aren't Tier S in Arena, their high burst damage still performs well in both Arena and PvP, and Bloodlust can provide an advantage for you and your teammates in combat.
Hunter
If you might just want to play raids with guild friends weekly and don't have the time or enthusiasm for minmaxing, maintaining perfect gear, or earning WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold, then your best class is Hunter.
Hunters are an excellent DPS class in The Burning Crusade. Their powerful single-target damage and defensive survivability make them highly needed in any dungeon or raid. They are highly mobile, easy to learn, and perform well in most situations.
Furthermore, Hunters are considered one of the least gear-dependent classes, so missing a few pieces of BiS gear won't significantly lower your DPS ranking. As a pet-dependent class, they have a much higher margin for error during world quests and leveling than many other classes, meaning leveling from 60 to 70 is very efficient and easy.
Hunters are a solid choice in battlegrounds and open-world PvP, but require more practice and skill to excel in arenas.
Other Excellent Choices
Besides the three main recommendations above, several other classes are also worth considering.
Paladin
If you enjoy tanking in TBC, Protection Paladins are an excellent choice, as they are in high demand in raids. Meanwhile, Retribution Paladins, after being buffed, have finally become a viable specialization in TBC.
Rogue
Rogues are very strong in PvP and arenas, but face fierce competition in raids, so it's best to have a consistent group to acquire gear.
Warlock
Warlocks share many advantages with Hunters: high DPS, a simple skill rotation, and the ability to provide support to teammates within the raid (Soulstone and Ritual of Summoning). However, in raids, competition for Warlock gear is extremely fierce, much more difficult than for Hunters.
It's worth noting that with TBC Phase 1 raid opening in a nerfed state, many players plan to use Mages as their primary role. For an Arcane Mage to become the top DPS, significant raid support is required. Unless you're certain your raid can provide that, Warlock might be a safer choice.
These are just suggestions for different playstyles. If you have a specific class you'd like to play, prioritize your interests.
For players who prefer a more aggressive playstyle, the TBC pre-patch character boost service can save a lot of time. If you want to accumulate gold early, besides farming in raids during this phase, you can also buy cheap WoW Classic 20th Anniversary gold from IGGM. They will fill your wallet when the official servers arrive, giving you an advantage.
