WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3 Mount Hyjal Attunement Can Be Completed In Advance | Defeating Specific Raid Bosses is the Key
Category: WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Posted: Aug 07, 2026 Views: 18
There are only two weeks left until the launch of WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3. If you want to jump straight into the new raids on August 27th, rather than consuming extra time completing attunement quests first, you should take action now!
Phase 3 introduces two new raids: Mount Hyjal and Black Temple. Each has its own specific attunement requirements; notably, completing Mount Hyjal attunement is a prerequisite for Black Temple attunement.
Fortunately, Mount Hyjal attunement questline can be fully completed during the current Phase 2! Here is a guide to help you get it done.

What are the requirements for Mount Hyjal attunement?
The attunement process can be broken down into two simple steps: raising your reputation with Keepers of Time (you don't need a very high rank), and then unlocking and completing the quest The Vials of Eternity.
Unlike other attunement quests that require long questlines, The Vials of Eternity simply requires you to defeat the final bosses of the two Phase 2 raids, Lady Vashj and Kael'thas Sunstrider, and loot specific quest items from their corpses.
How to raise Keepers of Time reputation?
There are no unlock requirements for this faction; simply travel to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris to find the relevant NPCs and start earning reputation points.
You can farm reputation for this faction through specific quests and by clearing dungeons. The associated dungeons are Old Hillsbrad Foothills and The Black Morass; reputation points can be earned in both Normal and Heroic modes.
After completing all the quests and dungeon runs mentioned above, you will have earned enough reputation to reach the halfway point toward Honored status. If your goal is solely Mount Hyjal attunement, you can stop here and move on to the next stage of the questline.
However, if you wish to raise your reputation further to unlock access to more items from Quartermaster Alurmi, you can continue farming the dungeons. Running The Black Morass on Normal difficulty is the recommended priority.
How to complete The Vials of Eternity quest?
You can pick up this quest by locating and interacting with NPC Soridormi, found within Caverns of Time, home to Keepers of Time faction.
The quest requires you to defeat Lady Vashj, the final boss of Serpentshrine Cavern raid, and Kael'thas Sunstrider, the final boss of Tempest Keep raid, both introduced in WoW TBC Classic Phase 2.
Afterward, the key quest items, Vashj's Vial Remnant and Kael's Vial Remnant, will appear on the bosses' corpses. Loot them and return to Soridormi to complete The Vials of Eternity quest!
This also marks the completion of Mount Hyjal attunement process. Once Phase 3 goes live, you'll be ready to jump straight into the new raid!
Phase 2 has been live for over three months, so you might have already obtained these items. If not, don't worry, we've got dedicated guides for these boss encounters!
How to defeat Lady Vashj?
The fight consists of three main phases. To handle Static Charge debuff she inflicts in Phase 1 and the waves of adds in Phase 2, your group needs to spread out before the fight begins.
Phase 1 isn't particularly difficult, but it is time-consuming; you and your teammates must ensure your health stays topped up and stock up on plenty of consumables beforehand.
Phase 2 begins when the boss's health drops to 70%. She summons many adds and activates a shield, along with shield generators that keep it powered.
You must prioritize killing Tainted Elemental adds to obtain Tainted Core. These are used to disable the shield generators and drop Lady Vashj's shield, allowing the fight for progress to Phase 3.
During this phase, Toxic Sporebats appear and create poison clouds; players should use all available abilities to focus fire on both the bats and the boss.
How to defeat Kael'thas Sunstrider?
This encounter is more complex; it spans five phases, with mechanics that are intricately linked across them.
In Phase 1, the boss does not appear immediately; instead, he summons his four advisors. After being defeated, these advisors will resurrect in place during Phase 3; therefore, you must kill them in the right locations from the start to avoid unnecessary complications later on.
In Phase 2, Kael'thas summons seven weapons; interestingly, once defeated, you can choose the gear best suited to your needs for the remainder of the fight.
Three minutes after the four advisors resurrect in Phase 3, regardless of whether they have been defeated, Kael'thas himself will appear, ushering in Phase 4.
During Phase 4, in addition to the existing enemies, a phoenix will spawn periodically. You must quickly kill both the phoenix and the egg it leaves behind upon death to prevent multiple phoenixes from being active on the battlefield simultaneously.
In the final phase, the boss unleashes more powerful abilities and repeatedly pulls all players toward him; handle this carefully while focusing your damage output on the target.
Other Mount Hyjal Attunement rewards
In addition to unlocking access to Mount Hyjal raid, completing this attunement allows you to select and complete a specific quest based on your raid role to earn Band of Eternity ring as a reward.
Once TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3 launches, you can unlock Scale of the Sands faction and continuously upgrade the ring by increasing your reputation with them.
If you haven't completed Mount Hyjal attunement yet, get started right away! Good luck!
If you want to accelerate your Mount Hyjal attunement progress, it's best to buy WoW TBC Classic Anniversary gold on IGGM so you can redeem consumables whenever needed!
As mentioned earlier, completing this attunement quest essentially involves clearing raids or dungeons, so maintaining high health and mana levels with consumables is crucial, especially during boss encounters!
