  Whether or not to get a Season 2 weapon for Restoration Shaman also depends on whether you already own Lightfathom Scepter.

  However, for Enhancement Shaman, you need to pay special attention to ensuring your main and off-hand weapons have the same speed. Both Season 2 Merciless Gladiator's Cleavers have a speed of 2.6, which can be used as a temporary solution, but the best combination is Rod of the Sun King paired with Talon of the Phoenix - both have a speed of 2.7.

  If you only have one of these weapons, it's more cost-effective to farm Arena Points to redeem two Season 2 Merciless Gladiator's Cleavers.

  For Elemental Shaman, you should definitely farm Arena Points for Season 2 weapon and off-hand, because they are BiS until you can obtain Nexus Key.

  Paladin

  If Feral Bear Druid can obtain Pillar of Ferocity from Anetheron, and Feral Cat Druid is confident of obtaining Vengeful Gladiator's Staff from Season 3, then farming Arena Points is unnecessary.

  Hunter

  Survival Hunters and Beast Mastery Hunters don't need to farm Arena Points, as the Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix, dropped by Prince Malchezaar, is much better than Season 2 weapons.

  Mage

  Tier C

  Smite Priest

  Smite Priest is almost ignored in WoW BCC Classic Anniversary. Its damage still falls behind Warlocks and Mages, and its AoE capability is also underwhelming.

  However, it is not completely useless in Phase 3. Smite Priest provides decent raid utility and is mainly played as a support specialization rather than a pure damage dealer.
